One of my favorites! 🫠🫠🫠I’ve loved this game for as long as I can remember having it…13 minutes 😝 but I have to say.. the quality of this game isn’t bad, it’s amazing, and you can get brand new emoji’s! I would seriously recommend this app to all people who see this review. But then again, I did want to talk about a bug I have been having… It might just be a me problem but I’m gonna say it anyway. So when I downloaded the game it said it would take at least 5 minutes to download. So then I was like “ okay I can wait 5 minutes “ so when the 5 minutes was up it still wasn’t ready so I went away for a second and when I came back like 10-ish minutes later it said it wasn’t ready yet. So it still is loading when it said your app is ready so I open it and it said “ I’m sorry Disney Emoji Blitz is having technical difficulties come back in two minutes “ so I did and it said “ welcome to Disney blah blah blah so then it brings me to the loading screen and I get to play but then it says the technical error thing AGAIN for like the 5 TIME and then I go to settings and it says “ you have to put on notifications for this app to work “ so I did and it starting to work again and that was it…😐😐😐… Idk what the glitch was but it’s gone now.. but I’m pretty sure it’s just a me thing..but anyway I seriously recommend this to all people because it really is a amazing game. AmazingI have only had this app for a couple of days and I’m already addicted to it! It’s so cool the emojis I earn are sent to my keyboard for me to use! I have no complaints for this game, it’s surprising how well this app is structured. I was shocked that I have not experienced any ads. I love that and am so glad that I don’t have to watch any annoying ads before I can continue my game. The only issue I have is that when I don’t have internet, the game will load, then tell me to restart the game to play it. I understand that this needs internet to function, but I like to play with and without, so that frustrates me a bit. Amazing game overall, and keep up the good work! Update: It’s been two months (going on 3) since I got this game and I’m still amazed at how well structured it is. Yes I admit the spin is a bit rigged, but even on that count less so than other games. It’s still possible to get GOOD prizes. Also, when you have items left on the board and a power-up could make it fall so you can collect it, half of the time it doesn’t do that for you, but I understand that might be a bit unfair to get it every time. Finally, a nod to the creators as this is the first game I have EVER written a review for, so for me to actually sit down and write a review, TWO DAYS after getting it as well, that shows that this game is truly wonderful. 😍 I love this game so much and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Emoji####I have been playing this game for a while and I just got to do a “good fight challenge”... so I’m not sure if what I’m thinking, is actually what is going on... so I know my name and Facebook photo pop up for other players to see because I can see other players as well... but when a player pops as emoji with four numbers after... is that someone who didn’t connect their Facebook? Or is that a computer that I have been playing? Because I have noticed multiple times now that when it’s a player that says “emoji with four numbers” my time will go out and the other players time will not and I’ll get an image of the emoji they are using with the words “waiting for player” and then all of a sudden they have three or more points more than me when I was points ahead of them so I lost the round... I haven’t witnessed this with other players that have their name and Facebook photo which is why it makes me think I’m playing a computer... Also! I have convinced multiple family members to play this game and taught them how to connect to Facebook and use the keyboard and turn that on in their setting... but none of them seem to show up on my score board or show that they are even playing even though they are and it’s connected to their Facebook. So I should have sixteen Facebook friends playing now and my app is only showing seven. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad or anything but these are some issues that I feel like could be solved fairly easily so..K.ElizabethMorganVersion: 38.3.0

THIS GAME IS THE BEST!!!!!I’ve been playing this game for a couple months and I love it. I’m 10 and I don’t have money for events but the events aren’t really worth it. Besides, some times the game gives you little gifts every once in a while. And today was one of them for me, and today is problably going to be the best day for the entire month. Why because sometimes when the game gives you one of the little gifts it can give you boxes and some boxes are very hard to get. Like the platinum boxes. And in my little gift the game gave me it gave me a platinum box and I had no idea. So when I opened the box it gave me possibly the second best emoji ever ( the first best emoji is any of the stitch emoji’s because stitch is my all time fav character of all time) and that is Platinum Mickey, and he is ultra ultra rare. Also, I love this game because I get overwhelmed easily and when I do it’s normally caused by sounds or the amount of people in a room, and when I get overwhelmed I just ask one of my parents if they can take me outside or another room to calm down and when I do that I normally play this game because it’s exciting but also relaxing and calming, so if you get overwhelmed easily you should try this game it will probably help you a ton. But even if you don’t get overwhelmed, but are a huge Disney fan you should try this game. Great overallThis game is highly, highly addictive for me. I absolutely love it. However the new version has too many side quests and goals to be met etc. it's just too busy. The villain maps are enough of a mini game. The addition of a "deluxe wheel" was pointless, and having it pushed on you in pop-up form is annoying. I also really wish they had changing backgrounds for the game board - Perhaps made it customizable. Some emojis look very similar in color to the backdrop and become hard for me to make out. The addition of all the new emojis and the new categories of them is overwhelming. Too many side characters are present that no one cares about or wants to collect. Some of their powers are also confusing. Using the emojis powers as another form of mini game would be more effective if there were more of a pause for instruction before the timer kicks on each time. Time bonuses should be longer. I like that watching a video gives you 3 free lives instead of 1 and I like that you only watch ads to be rewarded and they don't pop up, but do expect lots of in-app purchase offers. Perhaps a social element could be included with our own customized, Disney-inspired emojis? This would allow for app expansion without overwhelming users with so many "side quests." Also, make it optional to buy a random emoji or pick your own, or opt to level up an existing emoji. Those are my only notes. Otherwise, this is literally the perfect game. Great Disney fun!This is a wonderful game for the Disney fan in all of us. It’s a simple, fun, game that’s great to play when you have a little down time, or really want to advance a few levels in one sitting! The nice thing is you don’t just get to play the game, you get to win emojis of your favorite Disney peeps! They then act as stickers you can send in texts and posts and whatnot. It’s been a game I’ve enjoyed for over 3 years, and continue to enjoy as they have new challenges all the time! It’s truly the only game I play on a regular basis! The one downside, is this is a game with add-ons. In order to really get specific character emojis, you may need to spend a little money... and speaking honestly, it can get a little frustrating because you still could not get the emoji you desire, as it’s essentially the purchase of a blind box... you just don’t know exactly what you’re going to get. The other thing that is a little daunting, is the power level of the emojis... it’s says there’s up to 3 power levels, but they need to upgrade about 19 times in order to max out... to me, it should just be 19 power levels then... but I’m not a gamer by any stretch on the imagination, so it could be a standard thing in games, I'm not sure... 🤷‍♂️ But all in all, it’s still a lot of fun and always changing & growing! Amazing! But the adds have lied 🤥I’m going to be honest and say I’ve only had this game for about a week and there is a lot I can say about it. One thing that makes emoji blitz different is you keep playing and getting points until the time runs out, then you can get coins and open up character boxes to get some emojis like Mickey or Belle or any other Disney character (might not have all Disney Chanel characters). But: in the add they show you playing and creating character combos and saying that you can unlock a character while your playing a level, they say nothing about the character boxes. But there is one more reason I had to give this game only 4 stars. In most events (like the Star Wars one right now) you can get some decent prizes but unless you pay 2-5 dollars for anything in this game (other than the daily board) you don’t get to collect some of the fun stuff as quickly and the event might be over before you can get to your goal. But they always do give you a change to try for something’s. But I do love emoji blitz there have been no inappropriate adds or any and the emojis are cute! But my favorite part is that it’s addicting but I still have a life beyond it. Disney Emoji BlitzI have been playing Emoji Blitz for several years now. I’m a big fan of the game. It’s interesting, exciting at times, and is always very engaging. The diverse characters are great at changing up your game play for various events. This is my go-to game that I play daily. New elements, whether characters, skill sets certain character types bring to the table, or new types of events keep game playing interesting. For all those pluses, there are some areas where the game can be a bit frustrating. And that area is the one-minute long ads you have to watch in order to receive power boosts or extra lives or gems. Currently, there are ten ads per life refill. A life set consists of five lives. By doing the ten free spins every couple of hours, you can gain extra lives, gems, coins, power boosts, etc. (For example, if you receive a 15-minute power boost on your first spin, then you’ll only have about five actual minutes of playing time once all your free spins are done.). This can wear down one’s patience. But despite this drawback, I still believe this game is better than almost any other blitz or blast type game. I enjoy collecting the characters and finding how to best use them in gameplay. I have recommended this game to several friends and family members. I would say that nine out of ten enjoyed the game and still play. Overall, I rate this at four and a half stars..GmatymeVersion: 59.0.1

Good, But It Has Changed A LotI’ve been playing this game since it came into existence under Disney. It was a lot of fun, more people had the opportunity to play events, and my only complaint then was it was difficult to earn gems. Then Jam City took over. At that point, the tide turned and the app became much more of a money grab. If I’m going to spend money on a game, it has to be really worth it. In this case, that generally means being able to get an emoji I don’t already have. Since Jam City took over, more often than not, you won’t get a new emoji unless you spend a lot of money and buy several boxes. I can’t justify that. The special events under Disney were fun to play, and you had a much greater chance of getting to the end of that event and winning a diamond box. Now, under Jam City, you have to have certain harder-to-get emojis in order to even play past the second level of the special event challenge. If you don’t have them, you can’t even play the events. The only way to get them is to take a chance on buying emoji boxes. It usually doesn’t work out well. Sure — you don’t HAVE to play the special events — but you’ll probably want to play them. But now, unless you’re able to spend a chunk of money, you don’t even get the chance. So, under Disney, I would have rated it 4-1/2 stars. But under Jam City, I rate it 2-1/2 stars because I know how it used to be. It’s still fun…just not as fun as it was in the past..VeryTiredMom03Version: 52.0.1

Fast paced and funI love this app! So much fun and the fast pace keeps ne interested as do the different missions when reaching a new level! The only flaw I can see is the duplicates you get when opening a new box! Love the emojis too! Too many duplicates which seem to be a waste of money! I still enjoy the game but wish I could get new emojis. I also do not like being excluded from events because I don’t have the right emoji or my emojis aren’t high enough level and the only way to increase their level for the event is to spend more money. The events are so much fun but not being able to play them isn’t fun I am deleting this app after over a year of playing. The duplicates on the emoji’s is ridiculous. At least 50% of the time I get a duplicate that I have paid money for. I know it levels the emoji up but it’s not noticeable in the game. St this point the game has lost all of what I enjoyed about playing it. I am saddened by this but it is time to end my time on the app because all it is to me now is a money pit! Maybe instead of the emoji’s being random you charge a little more and let the player choose the emoji they want out of the selectors you put in the diamond box or any special boxes as well as the silver and gold boxes. Addictive, Fun, But...I have very few games on my phone but I love this one. Lifelong Disney fan so it’s more fun than matching candy or desserts. I appreciate that it has daily challenges, tasks to do, as well as a battle at least once a week. HOWEVER, I’m not crazy about the following: 1: The only way to get diamonds is to spend real money. ((It would be nice to have the option of spending the coins we earn in the game for them because...)) 2: There is no option to choose which emoji you are buying with the game coins. Some tasks take certain emojis which at times you have the option of buying in diamond boxes ((aka real money)) But then just have a 25% ((If that)) of getting what you want/need. There should be an option of selecting which emoji we’re buying. If not for the silver, definitely the gold & diamond. 3)) This ties in with 2 but there have been many times while spending game money or real money that instead of getting an emoji I want/need, I just level up one I’ve had. I’m all for leveling up but let the players choose when to do that such as with the rainbow lightning bolts ((which is admittedly another new feature I like)), selection of emoji ((see 2)), or simply playing past a certain point with the emoji ((as I have with many of mine)). You can get more and more emojis on your phone or a iPad and I mean who does not want Disney emojis on there phone or I pad . I think people love the Disney. So I would recommend getting this. Good, but needs improvementsHey, so I have been playing this Game for coming up on three years. It is really great, amazing graphics, tons of characters, addicting and just really enjoyable. The one thing that REALLY needs to change is the fact that you have to pay money to get almost anything done in this game. Again, for playing this game for three years I have only been able to purchase a diamond box twice and each time I had only received a gold box emoji. It is nearly impossible to get gems without paying. For events, I don’t mind doing them, just they can take HOURS to complete. Also for events like clear events you need certain emojis to continue. Those emojis used to continue need to be purchased with a diamond box. The point of the event is to get a diamond box in the end…… What is the point to buy a diamond box to get a diamond box? Anyway, without spending money it’s really hard to get emojis even if you spend hours playing. I would love if you made it perhaps easier to get gems, like if there were mini games or something like that didn’t cost actual real-life cash. Or also make it a little easier to get emojis, it takes A LOT of saving to purchase emojis and getting certain emojis is even harder since a lot of times the only way to get some is agin in the diamond box. Fun and addictive, I just wish it would stop freezing my phone...This game is fun and my wife and I really enjoy playing together and try to one up the other. As far for in app purchases, not a big fan of that but I understand that the developers want to make a profit from their fun game. I don’t have anything negative about the game itself it’s more the bugs and glitches that cause frustration. Mainly that anytime me I get a call or ‘pause’ the game and open up another app (like music, safari or even photos) and still keep emoji blitz active in the background by the time I come back to the game it freezes and then my phone becomes unresponsive. I have to lock my phone and everything dims for a few seconds and then I hit the lock button again and then my finishes closing out. I then have to unlock my phone and double click the home button to show all active apps, close emoji blitz out completely, and then relaunch the game in order for it to work again. The whole thing just takes about a min or two, but it’s quite aggravating. And this happens on my wife’s phone too. We both have iPhone 8s and we notice that this game has been out for a few years already so just wondering if anyone else is having this issue and if so, are they fixing the problem. Used to be fun now it's a cash grabI've been playing this game for years, and I used to love it. But ever since the game got sold to Jam City it's just a cash grab. Most of the events now are impossible to play unless you want to shell out money to buy "exclusive" characters. It used to be that anyone and everybody was able to join in the events. They were a fun way to earn special characters, especially if you didn't have enough gems to get exclusive diamond box characters. Now, you have to already have exclusive characters to play? Oh, and the only way to get them is through the five dollar a piece diamond boxes. It's corporate greed, plain and simple. It's no fun to see that there's a cool event and new emojis, but then see that you can't play unless you pay. Beyond that, it's next to impossible to get new characters from the silver and gold boxes. The company claims it's random and you have an equal chance of getting any character in the box. Then how did I get five duplicate emojis in a row, when there were more than ten emojis in the box that I didn't have. I even got the same character twice in a row. It's frustrating when you work hard to build up enough coins to buy an emoji, and then you get the same one for the fifth time. I still love the concept of the game, and the actual game play is fun. But I've become so disappointed and frustrated with the blatant greed from the company that I can't enjoy it..HolhunduckieVersion: 34.1.3

SO CUTESo I love this game! It is addictive and a fun twist on match three games. Most games like this are impossible to play after you get to a certain level. But you progress through levels by completing goals! There are literally no ads ever unless you want to spin the wheel twice. I also like that there are always challenges going on and new emojis to collect! I especially like that they are all Disney! And the actually are in your phone! To send to people! That is great! I have couple suggestions: I do not like that you can get duplicates of emojis. Sure if you get a duplicate it levels it up but you can do that by getting high scores. Next please make the diamond boxes less gems. 200 is outrageous. What about 50 gems? I am against in-app purchases and in my 5 months of playing this game I have never gotten a diamond box. Last complaint is please make the challenges easier. I have only won Jafar and that was cause I had Jasmine unlocked. Please make the challenges easier or extend the time. One last thing I like about this game is you can play it forever. There are always new emojis being added or a new challenge or a new high score to beat. Going downhillI used to give this game a five star rating. However since they have been taken over, they have been slowly making the game harder and harder to complete challenges. On the last challenge for the last level, they asked you to get over 200 different emojis in a collection. And that was out of four or five different levels that you had to complete prior which also had a ridiculous amount you had to get in order to try and get a diamond box. Diamond boxes usually aren’t worth the money or the gyms because nine times out of 10 they’re just going to give you a duplicate emoji and you don’t get the actual one that you need. Everyone has been waiting for the new hocus-pocus event and they screwed us out of this event as well. you get past level one and level two automatically requires a brand new emoji which has a 10% chance of getting in the diamond box. Usually it ends up upgrading another one requiring you to spend even more money to try and get the new one. That’s roughly $5 each time if you want to get 200 gems for the diamond box. I love Disney and I have enjoyed playing this game pretty much since it’s come out but I have been so frustrated this last year with the direction that the game has been going. People voice their concerns and complaints on the Instagram account and they don’t do anything to try and change. Do better. Be better..KdameVersion: 51.2.0

Enjoyable gameUpdate: Changing my review from 4 stars to 5 stars! It is refreshing that the folks behind Disney Emoji Blitz actually make changes based on users critiques. In my case, I recently noticed that the mission I couldn’t pass because I couldn’t collect the right emoji was changed! So now I can move on! I enjoy playing Emoji Blitz. The extra challenges are fun when they arise, and I enjoy the Daily Challenges. That’s mostly what I play now because I have been stuck on a mission for well over a month because I will no longer use 20 gems to bypass it since I don’t have the required emoji. That’s my only beef with this game. Don’t require a mission to be played with an emoji we don’t have and is impossible to get. I tried getting it when it was a lucky Gold Box day. Didn’t get it or one of the other supposed lucky ones—twice! I’ve used 200 gems twice to get the wand that guarantees a new emoji. Still didn’t get the emoji I needed. Maybe next time I’ll be able to use a wand in combination with lucky gold box and finally get that darn emoji. But it is so hard to save up for those gems. I know, I know, if I don’t want to pay to play then I shouldn’t complain. This complaint is minor though. Other than that one little thing, this is my favorite game for sure. Two years ago, I got the app on my iPod and it was glitchy! and it made me furious because it would take me out of the app and reboot and I had to start all over again on earning emojis. All of my hard work earning coins, was a waste of time. I was furious and rated this app 1 star rating. I wished there was a zero star rating but it wouldn’t let me do zero stars. I told the company about this and after that, I deleted the app. Then, on my birthday, I got an iPad Mini 4. I figured out that my iPod was glitchy even if I deleted that app. It was just glitchy because it was a old iPod! I told the company of this app that it was OK and that I figured out that their app wasn’t the problem my iPod was glitching! Then, my iPod shut down and never turned back on. I never could get it to work. and so I never used it anymore and got rid of it. Then, I got the app on my iPad... and guess what?! It turned out to be the most awesomest, most interesting Disney app! Excellent game, but I’m angry!I have loved this game for a long time, and now that Jam City owns it, it’s even better with special challenge games almost an everyday event. HOWEVER, I’m angry that, after the first round of some events, I’m shut out from continuing because I don’t have one of the only 3 emojis that are allowed to play on!!! That’s just wrong!!! I’m fine with requiring certain emojis to get extra points, but to be completely shut out is just no fun!!! What makes it even more frustrating is that you’ll get one of those 3 emojis if you continue! But I can’t continue!!! The only way to keep playing is to try to “buy” one of the 3 emojis, which sounds easier than it is. You need 200 or 300 “gems” (which takes months to accumulate 2, 3, or 4 at a time) to just buy a “chance” to get one of them! You can work for months to accumulate 200 gems, then spend them all, but you only have a chance of getting one of the 3 emojis you need. Download Issues, But FunI’ve been playing this game off and on for years. It got me through my pregnancy and my extremely long labor (I had saved up hearts so I could play offline), and it gives me a few minutes of peace as I get time to myself throughout the day. I love it, and even though I’ve deleted and reinstalled it several times, it’s never stopped being fun. However. I have gone about a month with a download that simply won’t go through. I like my prize calendar. Yesterday, it was Star Wars tokens. I got past the download, got the prize, played a match, the closed it. Love it but, not clear instructionsI love this game but there are not clear instructions, how do I level up? I've been stuck on level 6 for quite some time. It says 5/6 missions complete. What's the mission? how do I complete the mission? what do I have to do in the mission? How do I get to the next level? It's also very frustrating when I'm moving faster that the game can think. I'll move so I can put 5 together and I move to fast and the game doesn't register that the 5 went together and no star. So I slow down and my points suffer. All and all I like the game. I like the idea of the game. However there are a few things that need improvement. As a life long Disney fan I will continue to play, and keep my fingers crossed that the next up grade will include clear instructions and direction for how to advance. Fun but events feel a bit unfair.I’ve enjoyed the game. I like the emojis and send the new ones I earn back and forth with my wife. But the events can be unfair. The latest event requires specific items to drop to advance. Certain items do have a lower drop rate but the drop rate increase with certain emojis that are easier to get if bought from pay boxes. I like to complete events like these, but I don’t like feeling like the game is designed to require a money transaction to complete the event. I put a fair amount of time into the game, but when I only receive duplicate items for over 5 games straight with no progress being made in the event. I still needed 22 rare items (10:10:2), actually spent all my saved purchase currency on a diamond box to not receive the emoji needed to increase any of the last 3 items I need drop rate. I was left feeling defeated and a little duped. That being vented, it is still a fun little time waster that adds some cross benefits by being able to use emojis earned in game in text. Great but it freezes.I absolutely love the game. However, the latest update brought about some freezing issues alongside the event. I read a few reports about this and I’m wondering if a new update will come out to fix this issue. I’ve never had a problem with the game concerning freezing or slow loading. This is the first time this has happened to this game and I’m hoping this gets resolved quickly. I find it frustrating that I go out of the app to check an email, text, or some other notification and come back to it completely frozen. I try to lock my phone but it dims and I can still see the game. It takes a few tries for me to actually lock my screen. I then have to unlock my phone, which has frozen a few times since I still have the app open, and then I have to close the app in order to keep my phone from freezing up again. It has now come to the point where my phone constantly freezes and restarts when I have left the game to check on something. My Latest ObsessionVery nearly a perfect game, IMO. You can play normally and complete your regular missions to level up. You can take on the daily challenges which, with a little practice, diligence and a little patience (and maybe some strategically played boosts), can pay off VERY handsomely. There are always special events being released (sometimes for exclusive emojis). There are collections to complete. Even if you get duplicate emojis, don't get discouraged; duplicates level up your emojis, and there are emoji sets you can complete for even MORE exclusive emojis! The cool thing is that as you unlock emojis and collections, they become available for your text messages. You can play completely free; it just might take you a while to reach your goals. Also, the food fight events are the BEST! The only reason I don't give it the full five stars is that occasionally, there are glitches and bugs. The upside is that they're usually resolved fairly quickly. Finally, a suggestion; maybe someone at EBHQ will read this and submit it for consideration: I would love it if my unlocked emoji were searchable, maybe even have filters that I could apply to them or have a sorting feature, both in-game and when using the keyboard. Improvements NeededI enjoy this game but I would like to see some changes. It is frustrating during events in which a certain emoji or a certain level of emoji is needed. I have not been able to complete many events because I either do not have the required emoji and even if I use Gems to try to buy the emoji in the diamond box, rarely have I gotten the emoji needed. For one of the events, I had spent 1000 gems - equivalent to $20, which is 4 Diamond box purchases and did not get the required emoji to finish the game. Even if I do get a required emoji, many times the level needed is only attainable by using gems as you cannot use the power up on a diamond box emoji. I have been given many chances to win wands. It would also be great if you can use a wand with a diamond box to get an emoji in that box. I would also like to see more opportunities to win emoji power ups rather than having to get them by using gems. In addition, during multi-map villain events, the item that needs to be collected doesn’t come until the life is almost over. I have also used coins to increase the number of items available but again, the items don’t show up until well into the life. Great GameDisney Emoji Blitz is a super fun game even though I'm more of a Pixar person than a Disney person. You play events and unlock emojis to use in chat. Lucky Emojis help you to better win events and unlock special emojis. But one flaw this game has is diamonds. They're extremely hard to get unless you pay for them. And the diamond box only offers certain emojis. When time runs out you cannot get those emojis from it even if you have enough diamonds. Another problem is how hard some events are. Collecting events are especially hard. You have to collect so much stuff in a limited amount of time and you have a limited amount of lives. The only ways to get lives are by paying or waiting. In some rare cases there are other ways to get lives. Villain Events also are kinda tricky but not as hard as Collecting Events. Now the good things. There are no ads٫ and unlike most other match three games٫ the levels aren't extremely hard (as a matter of fact there are no levels in this game) and they didn't completely false the ads. Fun! But a bit of a cash grabI love this game - play it all the time to unwind. But lately, it just seems like the app just wants my money. There are challenges you have to complete to level up and win prizes, but sometimes the app will give you a challenge for an emoji you don’t have. So you either need to use gems to switch that challenge with another, or if you don’t have gems, buy gems, or try to get that emoji by saving all the coins you win (very hard to do). And don’t get me started on events! I’ll save up my gems for WEEKS so that I can use them on the special boxes to get rarer emojis you can’t normally get, only to get a normal emoji. And then some events can only be played with those rare emoji. I like that there’s regular event levels that you can play with any emoji - but the prize at the end of those should be at least a fair chance to get an emoji in which you can play the next round! One time, I got a prize that was a random emoji that had NOTHING to do with that collection! Imagine how infuriating that is - spending 2-3 days completing an event only to get an emoji that would add nothing to your collection. My Favorite GameAbsolutely by FAR my FAVORITE game. Addictive & super fun. Allows you to collect emojis & you even get the emojis (& other Disney related items/pictures) you win or PURCHASE for your keyboard as well… The entire reason I rated the game 4 out of 5 is the shear amount of pressure to make PURCHASES part…. They make it almost impossible to assure you’re going to get any emoji you actually want as well as making it impossible to complete challenges or get certain prizes unless you want to make a purchase. They are “sold” via coins or gems you can collect or buy in the game. I know most games want you to make a purchase but the newer “deluxe” wheel you have to actually PAY to spin is forced on you by pop-up with a “discount”, anywhere from 10%-50% off of a 9.99 purchase, PER SPIN. Love it, but crashesI love this game and have played it for years. However there are some updates I’m disappointed with. Firstly, this most recent update keeps crashing and I can’t even get to the game, so I’ve lost my streak and I missed out on the Coco event. Extremely impressed!I’m so impressed by this amazing masterpiece of a game, I feel like such a gamer girl when playing this. I just have a few questions: 1. Developers completely sucked the fun from the gameI started playing this game about 3 years ago and it has gone so far downhill since then. Now nearly every single event is behind a paywall. Starting to not like this gameI’ve been playing this game for well over 2 years and I have dropped some serious cash on this game. However, just recently this app has had some major changes. 1. The most recent download doesn’t allow for the actual app to open. It just opens to a blank screen and then crashes. This seems to be a regular issue since this has happened with other downloads within the last 6 months. 2. I completely deleted the app and reinstalled only for all of my purchases to disappear. THANKFULLY I had this connected to my Facebook account or I would’ve lost everything. Side note: what was REALLY annoying and a waste of time…I had to play through beginner levels and step by step directions for over 30 minutes before the app would go to the main screen to allow me to log in and then reconnect to my actual account and not have to start all over. It was an awful experience! 3. This past Halloween (2021) the app had special Halloween games with special Halloween emojis that normally a customer could purchase. SECRETLY the developer decided that the only way a customer could acquire the special Halloween emoji would be through playing the game non-stop and spending a bunch of money without telling regular customers like myself. Not bad game but a few gripesSo I’ll be the first to admit that I can’t stop playing this game and it’s super addictive. I also don’t spend any real money on games because I would rather spend my real money on things that I want or need in real life. For those actually buying things with real money I feel sorry for you and I would not suggest it.... but I understand why they have you do this since the developers rely on that to find the game (simple economics). Not very satisfying anymoreI will be sad to admit, I have been playing this game for 3 years. I’ve seen a lot of good changes, but I’ve also seen a lot of bad, and this new wave of changes by the new company have all been pretty frustrating. Some of the emoji’s powers are glitchy and don’t work; the games will glitch and take away all my progress on events, the customer service gives itself a window to reply within 48 hours so if the event ends before they fix your problem you are just out of luck (they didn’t even answer me the one time I got frustrated enough to ask for help). The most frustrating thing of all is that they have made it impossible to finish any events without spending money. This new event requires you to have specific emojis at a specific level before you can play it. Since buying emojis is a lottery(that rarely ever gives you new emojis), who knows how many times you have to buy a box to level up, the only way is to buy a diamond box and if you don’t have enough gems, you have to spend your own money to buy one. I’m a big Disney fan, but this is too muchI downloaded this app tonight and promptly deleted it from my device out of fear of unwittingly spending way too much real world money. It’s just too complicated. You earn one character at a time who each have different powers within the game which are apparently not the same as power ups. There are opportunities to get free emojis, but you have to go to the emoji “store” to access them. I feel that the app should be redesigned to significantly clarify what is a reward screen and what is a purchase screen. I’m 39 with a graduate degree so if its confusing to me I can’t imagine how much could mistakenly be spent by a much younger user. The tutorial of how to play is not very clear either, but if you are already sucked in there are several sites that offer step by step instructions including how to set up your emoji keyboard complete with the warning about how the app wants “Full Access” to your device and this may include personal information that has nothing to do with emojis...Um Hard Pass! I don’t understand why Disney can’t just straight up sell emoji collection (s) without being all big brother about it. Used to be great, now not so muchI’ve enjoyed this game for a while now, and always felt that the creators did a good job of balancing the different ways to get new emojis and also of creating a good balance of ads vs game play. Their events encourage you to purchase specific emojis if you wanted better odds of winning or getting through the event in time. But, you could still have a good chance of you getting through the event and even getting the prize using a non event emoji. Lately, this has changed. The past couple of events have been impossible to get through with a regular non event emoji. They seemed to have made it impossible to do so without purchasing one of the special emojis. I understand that they want to make money. It’s a commercial venture, after all. But, what they don’t understand is that they discourage game play completely with this strategy. Why would I bother even opening the app at all if I know that I can’t even participate in an event past a certain stage or even have decent chance in others like we had prior? It’s disappointing to be honest. I had always been impressed with their model and also their customer service. While their customer service is still great, I’m not too impressed with the direction they are going. It’s impossible to obtain gems in a reasonable mannerThe maleficent event is the nail in the coffin of my patience with the gem collection system. In order to advance through the event, I have to be able to purchase one of the three fairies in a diamond box. This requires 200 gems. This wouldn’t be a big deal but unlike coins which are earned every game, gems are only earned through the occasional prize or by chance on the free prize wheel, and even then it’s a piddly amount. To top it off anytime you need to extend your game so you stand the chance of achieving an impossible goal, it cost 20+ gems. This leaves those of us who enjoy the game high and dry if we don’t want to pay to play. Everything else about the game is wonderful. You can experience the full realm of gameplay without paying. Everything except the exclusive emojis that only come during an event and are always locked behind a diamond box. Even just increasing the reward on the free prize wheel to a reasonable amount would make it that much better. Update: this is the second time I’ve received a quest to use an emoji I do not have. I did not realize that there was a muppets event and as such did not get a muppet that way and every time I try to get just one muppet I get something else. Going downhillI started playing this game two+ years ago while it was still operated by Disney. It was fantastic, missions and challenges were challenging and entertaining. It could easily be played by me or my child and we enjoyed collecting the characters and items. It was free and we could occasionally treat ourselves by buying gems to get further in the game, but mostly it was a stress reliever at the end of a long day. But then Jam City took over and it just isn’t the same. The game is constantly glitching, and they are making it almost impossible to progress through the game or complete challenges without spending an obscene amount of money. It’s a game y’all. IssueI love this game. I have been playing for 2 years now and have gotten multiple friends hooked onto the game and we all love it. But I’ve run into a huge problem recently. At the start of this Snow White event, the diamond box became unavailable to me. It wouldn’t even show up as something possible. And then now for the past day, I haven’t been able to open the app at all because it says that the servers are down and I can’t connect. My favorite game, however….I have been a loyal game player for years. It has always been my favorite, I jump in and play whenever I can. HOWEVER… the game has become almost impossible to play the special events. First of all, special events take place daily now, sometimes lasting only 24 hours, but sometimes up to 6 days: this is fine, what’s frustrating about it is how you can never complete the events without spending loads of cash. DEB is charging you $12 for a 10% chance of getting the right emoji to finish the event. Not only that, but say you have the right emoji, they’re just not at the right level. So there’s even more money for a small chance again. I look at it this way, would I rather feed my family today or have a 10% chance at getting rainbow stitch. With inflation as bad as it is, they don’t understand that people simply cannot afford to play their game anymore. Stay away!This game was amazing before jam city took over. I spent way too long trying to make it work with jam city. I put way too much time and money into this game. It doesn’t matter what you do the events will be hard to complete with the new emojis they release for the event being required at level 2 or 3. Even with having 150+ emojis maxed out I still had a hard time getting the new emojis to complete events. They will tell you that you can still play without doing the events but you will also need certain emojis to complete missions and without those emojis you will have to pay 20 gems to swap it out. Gems are hard to come by unless you purchase them. Every month they introduce new features that take gems. With all the options to spend your gems you can accidentally hit the huge pay buttons while trying to hit the small buttons to not pay. Don’t download this game unless you have plenty of money to buy your way through the game. I wasted 4 1/2 years playing this game constantly to max out my emojis with as little money as possible. Fun but has become an obvious cash grab.The game is fun overall but every since Jam City took over a while back it’s become an obvious cash grab. For example: there are events that require certain characters to play and sometimes those brand new characters have to be at higher levels to even finish the events. The only way to get these new characters is to get them using diamond boxes that cost at minimum 200 diamonds. The game only lets you get diamonds in increments of 2 or 4 on a spin by wheel with other prizes that aren’t diamonds. The other option is to buy the 200 diamonds for $5. Even then you have a very low percentage chance of getting the same character if you but multiple boxes. Some characters have as low as a 10% of popping up in a diamond box. So in order to finish the event (current some Star Wars event) you have to buy enough diamonds ($5 for 200) to buy multiple diamond boxes (200 diamonds each) in order to raise the level of the characters needed to even play later levels of the event. So you’re probably looking at at least a $15 investment at minimum if you’re lucky. So without paying actual cash for diamonds to then give yourself the extremely low percentage chance of leveling up your characters players can’t even finish the event. Why am I playing this?I saw it on an ad for another game I was having fun with. I love Disney. So I downloaded it this morning. The app has crashed a couple of times, and I’ve have to close and reopen it quite a bit more than that because it freezes or won’t continue loading; freezing especially on advertisements. When I do play it, it’s a grind almost right off the bat. Impossible to get different emojis.Game is fun, but unfortunately I keep getting the same few emojis, just a “higher level” version. As an example I have purchased 14 emojis out of the 18 in the series II box, but I can never get the best ones(out of any box) I keep getting the same 14 countless times! However, in the last year or so, many events now require a new emoji or two at an impossible level to attain without spending a lot of money to buy the gems that will get you an emoji.
