Most helpful scanner app!I downloaded this app just because of an advertisement on FB. You know, at fist I was skeptical about all this FREE trial thing, but this scanner saved me several times when I was on a trip and need to scan and sign documents asap. Cannot believe I did not use this app before. It’s easy, convenient and I would definitely recommend it. You can scan in b&w, color, add stamps and other things. Great job developer. There were some troubles when uploading large pdf files, but apparently they fixed it. I haven’t used other scanners, but truly don’t need them. It must be the best of its type around. The one thing I wish were different is the cost obviously, but I understand business is not a charity. Developers need money to keep all this stuff live. Seen a lot of reviews with scam complaint. Well, people you’re in 2020, you should READ carefully what you are signing for. Besides, you can cancel free trial right away (ask google how). Good But Could get betterI love the App, i have a few qualms that I wanted to fix: one is that converting image to text takes a long time and two when I grab The documents I have to size it out from the 4 corners rather then have an option in the middle of the corners for the horizontal/vertical sizes. That could be a little faster just to have another vertical/horizontal bar. But otherwise you won’t find a better one on the market for the price, so i guess I’m happy, but not 100% elated yet. I hate paying so much for apps now and at least I have a lifetime subscription so that is nice, so I’m not crying every month like some. Question to the developer: I also was wondering if the text that we capture could be enhanced? Such as making books in dim lighting lighter? Most helpful, easy, and convenient app EVER!!!I’ve gone through 3 printers now trying to get them to scan and email my basic paperwork. Something always goes wrong with either the net work, the software, or hardware, and I can’t get what I want achieved. I get so frustrated! After spending so much money on these printers. What a blessing this app has been! It is so convenient to be able to simply take a picture of a paper I received in the mail, for example, turn it into a PDF document and email, text, or just save it to my files on my phone. Just the bestI have been using five different scanners and each one charges arms and leges and each with few options and this scanner has been the most practical, fast with many options . Scanned book pages for references.I’ve tested one other scanner that limits the user to use cloud storage and the platform/website exclusively. If your not using this app frequently it’s not worth the price, especially when there are truly free scanner apps available. Who couldn’t benefit from a hand held scanner?I’ve used this app when I’m too lazy or rushed at work to walk to the scanner, needed my ex husband to sign something for the kids and didn’t want to drive to his house, found something handwritten from my mother (who had beautiful writing and has recently passed) and wanted to keep it forever, or just because I’m not the best at keeping track of lose papers and knew having a back up on my phone would come in handy. Specifically for written words to text capabilityTLDR: more expensive and not as good as other apps dedicated to handwriting to text. Manipulative pushy-feeling customer experience for someone just wanting to try out the features quickly left a bad tast in my mouth. What I didn’t like: took a picture of a rather messy handwritten note. Had it translate it. This was the third program I tried with this, and the conversion was by far the worst. Text was split up into way to many lines. Lots of errors. What a REALLY didn’t like: the mercenary nature of the pressure to give them money. This “free” version was the most limited of all the three options I tried and the most expensive. I had to sign up for the premium version just to try out the handwritten to text conversation capabilities. Yes, there is a 7 day free trial. And yes, I know the point of that is so I forget to UN-sign up for that and you get some money. That’s ruthless. That is why I’m taking the time to leave a bad review, along with your pestering me for a review and repeatedly trying to get me to sign up for your paid service before I had a chance to test out the product. Your customer experience starts off leaving a bad taste I my mouth. Can’t speak to the other scanning features because that’s not what I was interested in, but you came up third or something when I searched for handwriting to text, so you should expect that type of customer..Isaac1082Version: 2.19.1

First page is ORANGE, but why???I downloaded this app because I saw an advertisement, great marketing, that stated it would change your documents into a word doc or a PDF after scanning and I thought this to be a useful component for a scanner because sometimes you may need to make a change or two, and you don’t want to use Adobe. So I downloaded the app. I almost decided to pay for it out right, however, Holy Spirit said wait and see, so I waited and sure enough there was a problem. The first pages of the documents that I scanned were all ORANGE. Yes, I was able to go back in and change the color however, who wants to do that. I am a scan and go kind of girl. Just use Genius Scan Instead…Convert to text *sounds* useful, but unless you just want a hand written paragraph or something equally as linear converted, this app is useless. It cannot decipher or format notes in the margin, columns, or simple tables. Your notes will just look like a jumble of text—nothing where it should be. BE CAREFUL: Doesn’t Accept Cancellation!I used this once, to translate handwriting into text (which is advertised as a solid capability), and (although my handwriting is complemented by coworkers as very legible) the translation into text was a page of random letters and symbols. There were no complete words to edit (and I just had to retype completely). It was very clear that the advertised ability I needed was not there, and I immediately cancelled it. I remember that the cancellation process asked me WHY, and I gave a detailed explanation, and did the appropriate cancellation process. Including double verification, in case I wasn’t sure. Then, I deleted it. This review is because I FOUND THE SUBSCRIPTION WAS NOT CANCELLED AND I WAS BILLED AGAIN. If you try this, be careful!.AlwaysmprestVersion: 2.20.5

They played meI purchased a year subscription and it doesn’t end until July of 2021. Since January of 2021 I have not been able to use the app at all because it’s saying it wants me to purchase a new subscription. In Apple Subscriptions it very clearly says my purchase doesn’t expire until Jul 11, 2021. Apple can’t issue a refund because I bought it more than 90 days ago and emails to the developer have gone unanswered. This app is useful when you are able to use it, but I would not recommend anyone purchase a subscription because of this. Not easy to email bc of size of scanApp works great but it’s horrible if you have to send a PDF file because each page gets sent as a huge file and if you are sending multiple pages, it has to be compressed. Good product but totally screwed up billingI tried this and I was really excited because it seems like this did what I needed. However this app has two major issues: 1) if you do an in app purchase it does not record properly and then blocks you from using the app because you have not paid. 2) there still seems to be in app advertising even if you have paid for the app. This greatly extends the scanning time. If you are scanning several checks for example this greatly extends the scanning time Their support has this issue: 1) only way to co tact the developer is their website and the contact Form is broken :(. Careful, it’s stealing your document dataIt’s either stealing your data or it’s concealing the fact that it acts as a middleman for a free online OCR service. Or both. If you turn on airplane mode and try to use it, it just says it “can’t read the text” in your image. Turn airplane mode off again, and it works again immediately. If it wasn’t trying to hide the truth and deceive you, it would simply say that it needs the internet connection to work, wouldn’t it? Sounds like it just doesn’t want you to know that it’s sending your data to someplace else online. Needless to say, I don’t trust it. UPDATE: Developer says “Any OCR technology requires an internet connection” - are you trying to call me ignorant? I use an OCR software on my computer which works offline so I KNOW FOR A FACT this “technology” absolutely does not “require an internet connection”. Do you even know how your own app works?
