The case for accessability to visually impaired/blind playersI have always loved learning about the Arthurian legends and all that. However, this is not really possible if you can’t play games like that with no accessability, is it? I’m a totally blind person, and this game sounds neat. It would be even more so if people like me and those with visual impairments could play. As I said, I’m totally blind so don’t know if the visuals are contrasted enough for VI (visually impaired) people to use. Please make this so in your updates. For totally blind and visually impaired people, you could connect this game to the Unity Engine so that it is self-voiced through there. You could also make it self-voiced like the game “A Blind Legend.” Another way is to hook the game up with Apple’s VoiceOver. This, allowing people like me to navigate the iDevice’s screen, would do so with the game as well. Of course, you can make the digital person within the game/the characters, that is, sighted and/or blind at some points. However, if you do this, please try to portray the blind character positively without stereotypes as are often heard in the blindness community—stereotypes not given here, but many exist. Very expensiveSo I’ve been playing this game for over a year now but there’s a problem. If you ever want to keep up you have to put down a lot of money. If you wanna get anything done that requires a lot of stuff you gotta spend well over $100 just so you could upgrade. Armor being $50 a piece and skins are gonna run you $200-$300. Yes the skins have stats if you have enough of them. This game pushes for you to buy so you can keep up. They don’t match your kingdom with other kingdoms by power level instead the way they match you is depending on how much money that kingdom has spent which ultimately results in being paired with a kingdom that is too strong. You can’t enjoy any of the events because even in there the push to buy is constant. I reported an issue with an event that I missed out on rewards for the whole week and I asked for compensation only to get a sorry for your inconvenience and no compensation. Don’t install this game unless you want to go broke. It’s not worth the time or the money to play. More and more kingdoms die weekly so don’t be surprised if you join a kingdom and that kingdom becomes inactive. To the koa staff please listen to your players because clearly you haven’t done anything about it. After almost 3 yearsKing of Avalon took my attention from the first days. I played and enjoyed the game since 2017 and keep on enjoying it. So many people left so many people came to this game. But those who stayed they became very close friends. The graphics and designs are improving. The game becomes more affordable. All I can say this game is the only strategy game that keeps me coming back and spend some time in it. But most important is that those people who play in your alliance are the ones who drive you back to game. At the beginning I spent a lot believe me 5 figures was almost not enough yearly spending to stay top 3 in kingdom. Now they make it more interesting with events so free players and low spenders can enjoy the game too. I hope this game will be pushing harder on making more affordable so people don’t have to worry about cheaters. Play and pay but not only pay to play. Good GameAs a person who is new to this type of game playing, it took awhile for me to understand. However once I did I enjoyed logging in and growing with my alliance. The visuals and events are all interesting and fun. The chatting between players is great. Yet there are some things in this game which makes me give it three stars instead of five. For instance, the game gets kinda boring fast. Everyday is the same thing. Hunt and gather, and while the events are great for fresh players after awhile you realize that they are just the same events over and over again. Lastly, the constant need for the developers to push their “ buy buy buy” equipment is annoying. Especially when some of the events are specially made to get you to spend money. An example, they had an event were daily tasks get you awards, like a treasure chest, but then to open that treasure chest you need to buy the key. Stuff like that gets annoying really fast and takes the fun out of taking part in this events. Besides, that dealing with the “Rich Players”, that automatically upgrade through buying all those specialty items and the constant need to find an alliance that won’t kick you out at the next day can be a drag but overall once you find your place, the game can be entertaining to play..VixluvVersion: 14.1.0

King of AvalonI am revising my rating from 5 stars to 4 because of all these stupid updates that most players do not want. Every time you bloody update, you break more stuff. I have been playing this game going on 4 years. These stupid updates are not wanted or needed. It is ludicrous that you feel players want all this. The only thing I see is you are catering to players that have the money to pay for all this stuff. You’ve taken away things we could get from the traders to forge gear etc. We aren’t getting ingots for the new gear in barb or monster chests like we used to. The amount of resources or frags to upgrade anything anymore are absolutely ridiculous. Again unless you pay for it, there’s no way that you’ll be able to gather enough even with multiple farm accounts. The resource tiles aren’t big enough to make much of a difference. After playing this....After playing this for a while now, I can safely say that this is one of those games that you should try if you don’t have any other gaming device. After a while it can be a little tedious with the upgrading but if you can get past that, you don’t need to dump dollars into this game; I find it amazing that I can play this nonstop for an hour or two seeing what I can do, if you have a decent alliance it opens a whole new opportunity of new things to do. 1. Teaming up to rally barbarian camps and ravagers, if you can do this you will get a ton of speed ups for upgrading... the only problem is that you can have stamina issues and you’ll need to wait maybe an hour for it to replenish. 2. You can get decent boosts with alliance research and you’ll get aid and help from your alliance members when you need it. 3. In big events having friends is a big win! Failure to be reasonableThe game play is smooth, the events are nicely constructed, some have helpful rewards… My issue is that they never miss a chance to be complete money grubbing wh**es. Shielding for 24 hours for free should be attainable for free with participation and donations.. it’s not. The amount of gold everything costs should be cut by 2/3. A dragon shadows should be sold for a reasonable subscription which how important it is to everything you do. When you reach a certain point there shouldn’t be lv 6 rss spawning next to forest center it should all be max level rss, monsters and barb rallys. Your “search function” does the exact opposite of its purpose. VIP12 is unobtainable and by the time you do the benefits are useless because you are already past the point of needing them. Chat pictures should be larger. Can barley see their avatar and if you view their profile you don’t even see the uploaded photo. The ingots to forge the rss gathering and construction/tease arch armor is like Bigfoot, someone a long time ago said they saw one but fool me once if they can prove that report was true. Y’all be WILDINAll these reviews i’m seeing recommended to me are all negative. yes, you CAN spend big money and events need to be organized by power level, but the game is addicting!! i do think chat rooms could use some updating because some features are hard to use like how they don’t have autocorrect or a translator for my foreign friends which i think could be a very good idea. either way you think, i’ve been playing for just over a half a year with a months break a few weeks ago and i have 20 mil power and 150k troops at sh lvl 16. i haven’t spent any money. some items (like ingots for armor) can be found by fighting in rallies against barbarians or gained by doing well in events. i haven’t been playing for very long and already have 15 hegemony ingots. the game is both fast-paced at times and in other areas (like collecting hegemony ingots) you have to be patient. i am in kingdom 517 or something like that and i have virtually no hackers or too overpowered people in the kingdom. this review was sent in april of 2020, hope it helps!!.A member of generation zVersion: 8.2.0

Great game and worth the time spentI play this game everyday, and let me tell you that it is super fun. You can interact with alliance members, and if you get a good alliance then the people you get to interact with have your back. I play this game with my family and we are usually all on a phone call together playing it. When kill event comes around it is even more fun. Sure, you will lose lots of troops but if you have a good alliance then you can easily recoup the lost resources and train your troops back. Also, it isn’t hard to get a nice alliance. The game features are amazing. The labyrinth is fun to explore and it is also fun leveling up your dragon spirit and having it fight against others in the Royal Arena. The Magic Spire comes in handy a little bit but I would just like to see more protected areas, because when you are low leveled you are constantly getting hit by other high leveled people when gathering crystals. Many of the war games I have played there is always some unwritten rules of the game that ALL the players/alliances agree upon. But this game. The worst part is that members of the top three alliances will pick on players that have over 50 million power less than them. This game is awesomeWhen I first got this game, it was out of boredom. I just wanted to see what it was like. Well, that was the beat decision I’ve ever made for a mobile game. When you need resources, it’s easy to gather. Sure it takes a while, but it can be done easily. The only money I’ve spent in this game is in-game currency and my Stronghold is already at level 21! The alliance I am with now is awesome too! Plus, this game makes it extremely easy to get speed ups, gold, and other resources. The new update and the 3D map are just insane. The map is kind of trippy at first because your just trying to get used to it, but I can promise you, it’s really neat. This game is VERY goodI have had this game for 4 years now ( I redownloaded it 2022) and it is really fun. Graphics are some of the best I’ve see. This games amazing! Here’s some of my ideas!I personally love this game. It’s detailed, and has way more plot than to other mobile kingdom games. But I had a theory, a good theory that might be useful for the game! You get a dragon right? So here’s the thing, once you reach your dragon level 20, you can gain these shards from chests, or daily chest. And use them to CHANGE the element of your dragon, there could be water, fire, earth, dark magic, and the special one, god of light. You can earn god of light only if you collect 20 of each shard and combine them together, which would take a while considering collecting shards would be rare to get. But the chance increases the better the chest is. That was just my idea I thought you’d might like to add in the game. Overall, very great game! Great game really grabs your attentionIt’s a money pit though if your down to spend money then great. But if it takes 20 tickets to get a reward they will sell you 19 tickets for $20 then they will make you spend another $20 for 19 more tickets. They know what they are doing when it comes to making you spend money. You will spend to achieve something and come just short of the goal and then have to buy a big pack again because they limit the small packs. Awesome ExpensiveThe game itself is awesome. It gives you a chance to utilize your strategy and intelligent thinking to better your character throughout the game. However, if you aren’t willing to put a ton of money into it, I suggest you find a new game or you will be seriously frustrated and upset with the game within about 2 weeks, if not sooner. If you can’t afford to buy shields (aka: bubbles) other, more developed players will constantly pillage your resources to keep themselves from having to farm. Also, if you don’t have a great alliance where everyone knows what is going within the alliance and is in contact with each other, you will each fail individually. Doing this game as a stand alone character vs with an alliance is impossible. The game also needs a way for team members to be able to take screenshots of conversations and team/alliance movements. I have already 25k troops. This game allows you to work with other people from around the world. Nice gameI like it, but some things I have issue with like how damaging it is to lose all your troops and how slow to resurrect them. Also meteorite ore— where did this come from, did King Arthur find 50 meteors on the ground?— and how hard it is to obtain it without purchasing a lot of bundles. I do like the gameplay and koa deserves credit, but it is pay to win for sure. But, on the other hand, it is an excellent game and the developers need to get paid for their work. One last thing, the help and support section could get tweaked to be better. It is stressful navigating that and sometimes difficult to get help there. For example, you should be able to save your text if you have to leave the page and there should be more options for screenshots instead of just one. At least a couple more.... Game of War plus extrasIf you’ve played Game of War: Fire Age, Kingdoms of Middle Earth, or similar strategy games, you already know most of what King of Avalon has to offer. There are a few extra things like the Labyrinth and the Magic spite that you can use to get extra goodies, and equipment you can forge for buffs. It’s more fun than Game of War, but has the same problems. “Wallet Whales” can effectively buy out a kingdom by spending tens of thousands of dollars to advance to max level very quickly and get all the best equipment in the game. This is not an anomaly - almost every kingdom has a wallet whale for their king, and that is how the game makes money. To make matters worse, you can attack players of any level, so once a whale buys a level 40 (max level) city, he can one-shot any player in the kingdom no matter how small or helpless. End game looks pretty bleak unless you’re friends with the king, and who would want to be friends with a player who bought their way to the top instead of playing the game?.SonOfValorosVersion: 5.1.0

Pay to win.So before you commit tons of time and money into this game, the first thing you need to understand is that it's pay to win. I've played this game since the 3rd week it's came out and I'm now SH26. A guy named Yandi who now has well over 1.2 BILLION power ruined the kingdom in a span of 2 days by taking out 3 major alliances without remorse. That was 6 months ago and the kingdom now only has 4 main alliances in it. Another problem is the dead kingdoms which the developers need to fix or else they are just going to keep losing high paying players. The only reason I'm giving this game 2 stars is because although it's entirely focused on pay to win, I've had amazing experiences on it and have met some amazing people. Love this gameI could do without having to interact with other people but that part is not so bad I guess. I take that part back I find it rather fun! I’ve come to enjoy the game way more than I did in the beginning! By now I believed I would have been done playing but I’m steady interested. I do think there are some things that could be changed, or perhaps implemented such as when out resources are ready for harvesting if we do not get to them in time, having them set aside so that we can continue to gather... or at least make it to where there is not a limit on how much it can hold. Avoid this gameLet me tell you how this “strategy” game works. Spend lots of money buying gear, gemstones, banners, etc., boost your stats, and mindlessly attack anyone who you were able to outspend. Whoever calls this a strategy game I want to fight a war against you because you have no sense of what a strategy is. This is not a strategy game but rather pay to get ahead and takes no thought to beat your opponents. Those who spend the most money dominate this game and are impossible to defeat. They take anything and everything they want and within a matter of seconds can ruin years of work. Example: I spent a good year building up traps to defend my base and in one attack they were gone as well as 400K troops. Hospitals only hold so many troops and when that capacity is met all the rest die. We have a level 35 guy in our kingdom to wipes out entire alliances just because he can and support does nothing to help. You WILL have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to compete with these players or spend the next 10 years of your life gathering enough resources to progress that far. Avoid this game like the plague or you will leave it feeling like you completely wasted your time. Anyone who says they have never spent a single dollar on this game is lying as well. Customer support? Yeah right 🤣The only reason I’m not giving 0 stars or even still playing this god awful game that’s only out for your money ( you need to spend thousands of real money just to survive) is the people I’ve become friends with. If it allowed me to post screenshots I could prove it. It’s the only good thing left. Game lags and glitches every single war event. Solar kingdom gets nothing event wise compared to lunar. Millions of game errors 0 actual fixes or compensation for the errors. Try to talk to customer service to fix a problem? Don’t bother you get a generic prescripted message that basically says to bad and they close the case. You lost rewards? Money? An event do to bugs in the game? Oh well they don’t care to bad deal with it. I will never ever ever play another one of this companies games again nor will the over 100 people I met in this one. FALSE ADVERTISINGNO NO NO! Any ad I have seen for this game has been completely fake. Do not think your playing some Age of Empires mixed with Elder Scrolls style game. Worst customer service ever!I have enjoyed playing this game only from the friends I’ve made. However I have to say recent updates as of March 2019 have caused a lot frustration. Customer service is a bunch glorified players. Yep that’s right, taught to send prewritten messages that don’t address the issue. The messages are general and nothing is ever done. Keep in mind this game is rated age 13 up. If this was adult game I’d have no problem. The developers thought it would be a good idea to have a cross kingdom horn. Only kings of each kingdom can send a message across all kingdoms. That was annoying, many people complained.. no one I know ever said hey we like those annoying messages. New update the developers have put these messages in the kingdom chat AS WELL. Why is it so bad? These Kings use profanity and send very inappropriate messages. So these messages now stay in Kingdom chat for all to see for hours. There are so many that you can’t have a normal conversation so no talks in kingdom chat anymore and so they stay! Great concept but unable to switch Kingdom is a big disappointmentOur family played the game a while and we all had great fun, there are quite a few things to do in the game and good concept to grow alliance. However, for our friends who started the game several days later, they could not teleport to the kingdom we are in and therefore unable to join our alliance. We contacted KOA customer service multiple times, all the reply we got was that new accounts joined after certain time are unable to teleport to old kingdom, well, they just started the game literally 4-5days later than us, it’s a big disappointment that we liked the game concept and planned to build our alliance but none of our friends can join! Also there seem to be big spenders owning strong alliance bully beginner players and small alliance. We understand that all game companies want to make money, but it has to be a good balance between diversifying players base and only focusing on $ players spent. Changed my mind... (edit)This is an expensive game. Unless you want to be idle for a couple of days at a time in upgrades, you must buy the power ups. But when there are 107,000 iron in a mine, it takes an hour and a half to collect and you come back with 10,000... i hope you get my meaning. It could be great if not for these things. (Edit): Ok... Contemplating LeavingI have been playing this game for about a year and a half. I can’t say it hasn’t been fun, and I have met some nice people from around the world. However, I am now contemplating giving it up. Here is why. I’m one of those “rare” players that have only spent .99 cents just so that I could use the bank. I refuse to spend a dime more. I am a level 24 mainly because I have always been in one of the smaller alliances that can’t really protect me or help me grow faster. Part of the fun for me was growing my city in spite of the roaming “pricks” that ignore kingdom rules and go around stealing resources from smaller alliances outside of the designated “killing Periods” set by the leader of the kingdom. Now, there is a level 35 who is hell bent on running everyone out of the game and he has a level 40 (who is the leader of the kingdom) that protects him. I have finally come to realize the KOA is not going to do anything to rectify the unrealistic inequalities that are now occurring on a regular basis. Then they made it so you can fight other kingdoms. Lost everything and quit. There is no power restriction in the game, hey it’s a war game I get it. Pay to winI have been playing this game since the very beginning and have seen both the good and the bad. Unfortunately, due to life, I had to take a two month hiatus from the game. In that time, two new tiers of every single aspect of the game were added and the materials I had were no longer applicable or had to be converted to new materials at a very low conversion rate (150=1). On top of that, they made it nearly impossible to obtain the required materials for lower level pieces and only gave you ways to get the higher level pieces (without spending money) that would take you months just to get one piece of high level gear. Additionally, anything worth purchasing is $50 a piece so unless you plan to spend a serious amount of money, you won’t be getting very far. Great game concept, events, etc. but the rewards are stingy and the paywalls are extreme to the point where the game is nearly unplayable. You can have players that get the best gear and have stats that are 4x or 5x that of a non money spenders. Good game but....Good game but it is frustrating at times. The people that pay to play are not separated from the free to play people, so you end up not being able to compete against them. This a battle game and so when you get defeated (often) by the pay to play guys it is frustrating again because it takes so long to retrain your troops. If you have higher level troops it sometimes takes two months to get back to where i was and then I could have been attacked again,....very frustrating!!!! So many of the people in our alliance quit the game because they couldn't make headway in the game. So many attacks and too long to recover. You use alot of resources to train your troops. If you do pay some for the game, it is frustrating because what you strive for or pay for in the game becomes obsolete and worthless when game announces new equipment or features. Not a Strategy GameThe game is nice and when at war against like opponents can be fun. However you have people that use their cities as landing craft. They teleport their city next to weak opponents and clobber them then run back behind their alliance of equal thuggery. No strategy is involved, they simply outspend the weaker opponent and steal everything while decimating the army they built. Essentially the weaker opponent is left with no army and no resources to build from. The building of traps, walls or defenses of any kind have no affect against opponents that double your kingdom level. The graphics are good and the play can be engaging with the dungeon type levels your spirit can explore. It’s too bad that the thugs in the game take away from the experience. So much so in my case that I was not able to participate in the events that followed that would have helped me progress further. The game left me feeling disenchanted and bitter. Over designed and complicatedThis game has adds saying it’s a tower defense game and only show one “game” mode” and when you install it looks just like that adds however once you get pass the tutorial it becomes clear that this game is a city growth/faction game and the game mode you want to play is rarely available and there are a lot of different conquering animations that serve no purpose but to hold you back until you reach a certain power , you have no control over your troops and the battle is decided only by power level, which that is fine but why add that when you could use the tower defense game mode which is super fun and in my opinion could have made a perfect game mode on its own without all the extra game modes and pvp server this game is a lie and it’s only purpose is to get downloads and take money it’s not worth it, it feels like a mixture of all sorts of games and yet it offers nothing new to the table that other games don’t. Total pay to playBeen playing this for years and this last kingdom war was the last straw. I killed 62 enemy troops to my 1million. There is no ladder for any player to climb for free for all of the in game upgrades. Want more than basic armor, buy it. Want better gems, buy them. Want better hero weapons, buy them. Everything is a buy or never get again. The few times you get parts for anything means you are working to get part pieces every day. When it is 7 parts for a single type of gemstone that needs 200 to unlock. That is a month to grind those parts. Then you start the next gemstone. Also there is a type of gemstone you can never unlock unless you buy it. Same goes for the armor. Having such a mismatched armor profile means I will upgrade the weakest first. But I’ve had enough of the constant changes where I almost have enough parts to unlock a new armor then they change the set up for the newer armor leaving me in the wind with 190 parts I can never finish off. It’s a trapI have played KoA for multiple years in multiple kingdoms. If you are ok spending $1,000’s on a game you play on your phone then it’s an amazingly fun game. The ONLY way to be competitive is to continue spend $1,000’s of dollars. It is a fun game with a social aspect of an alliance. But with out spending large sums of money you will become attached to your alliance members only to watch them die when attacked by players who regularly spend $1,000’s on this game. The upgrades you can purchase are constantly replaced by new upgrades on a sliding scale of price creating a sense of urgency that you are getting a great deal only to be replaced with an even better “deal” next week. This leaves the players in a constant battle to spend or to be insignificant on the battle field just a month or two later. The kingdoms start out very active and then start to die off 6 months to a year later leaving you with a very expensive castle in a kingdom most players have abandoned. Handles cheating phenomenallyThe number 1 player in the entire game has been caught on video buying resources illegally but the developers do nothing about it. Even going so far as to release a list of in game names they did reprimand (very light slap on wrist) and surprisingly enough the #1 players name wasn’t anywhere on the list. It is such a joke in the community that this developer has VERY clear Chinese bias, the the #2 player in the entire game has his profile picture as a screen shot of the #1 player buying illegal resources. DisappointedThis was shaping up to be such a great game. The beginning experience is just like the adds. The real time defense that is a short time commitment was an incredible design.
