Still love this app despite the AI intrusion...This app has been one of the main four I have used for years to create photopoetry. While I despise AI from an artist's standpoint, I'm thankful to the developers for retaining the elements I have counted on. As long as they never do away with them, I'll be pleased as punch. They also were kind enough to email me and let me know how to access the 'old' bits despite my rant (I'm leaving it below this) about them ruining one of my favorite apps. Bless them. I don't know who decided to completely ruin one of my favorite and most useful apps, but to say I'm livid is a gross misrepresentation of how I am feeling. Let Me Just Say.. "Wow."I have to say, I absolutely love this app. If there was one app for all of the photo apps that you would ever need, it's this one. Although, I do find some imperfections within the app. When using the "Blend" feature (after I have merged two photos) I attempt to erase the overlying image, only to find that the erased outline doesn't come out as precise as I would like. Maybe this could be improved upon by adding a zoomed-in, magnifying window to this Blend feature? Another few drawbacks that I have noticed: the brushes are sometimes not small enough to receive "detailed" precision (but this can also be due to a lack of an increased zoom.. which should be updated to zoom as close as we would like. Also, when the magnifying glass appears when I'm attempting to whiten teeth (among other edits), the magnifying glass will not show any changes that I make in real-time, making it hard for me to see what I'm actually changing in the picture (as my thumb is in the way)--> please update these features? Preciseness is the only aspect of the app that I would wish to be improved upon. LightX has set a new engineering standard for all photo apps! AmazingHonestly, I never pay for apps. I was hesitant in buying an app, but it was so worth it. This app is great. I can do everything. There are a few bugs though (under splash, the first time using erase or draw makes a streak on the picture)(using magic eraser sometimes takes the brush off of sharp points in pictures). Other than that, it’s amazing. I just wish under splash there was a “pick color from picture” option, like for “doodle” in another app “Pixlr” (the button looks like a dropper). Also, I’d like to be able to color over black. I usually make black items lighter and then color them in, but I’d love to just color over it and skip a step. Amazing photo editor!!!I love this app! It has so many features, and new ones are added throughout the year. Once you learn what each feature does, you can create some really cool images. I love the background feature because it doesn’t look overly fake. Each feature is easy to use and they give you very clear instructions to help guide you. For $3 it’s totally worth it. Awesome photo editing app!This is an awesome photo editing app for amateurs like me. I love the quick instructional video before you go to use a feature for the first time. I use this app to edit clothing photo shoots for our online retail business and it works great! One suggestion for improvement would be to allow multiple undos instead of undoing all the edits with one click. Works sometimesAfter reading many positive reviews I bought the app. I found the cutout tool to be very hit and miss. Mostly miss unfortunately. For some reason I can't zoom when doing the cutout which makes it practically impossible on a phone sized device with anything not large in the frame. Maybe it's better on an iPad. "Retouch" does better at the cutout and healing brush type of tools I've found. In summary, it works sometimes, then it's great, other times it's just easier to use photoshop. Love the appI have used this app quite a bit. I like to use it to tweak some of the colors autostyles in other programs use so the are more to my liking. I also love the blend function and many of the effects that have been released thus far. I agree that a little more precision would be nice. Also a redo button would be helpful, especially when I undo something I didn’t mean to. A way to zoom both layers in the blend function would help with editing. Hello developersI use to love this application but not so sure anymore. This new update is not user friendly like the one before this. Great product for secondary picture editingA very useful app that has many features from creatively adding effects or editing colors in a picture. This app can also blend pictures together and add text. I would even add a couple extra arrow heads to the "color mix" to blend better, more presets in the "blend" and a color wheel to the "filters, retro" tab. Love the app BUT......I have been using this app for about a week before the update and I was in love with it and would’ve gave it a 5 star rating but after the recent update I cannot complete any of my photo edits. What Happened?I've been using this app for a while now, and it was my go to app for all things photo editing. Needs WorkThe app is good and offers a lot of features that are desirable for a mobile editing app. An issue I have with the app is its problem with precision. Great photo editing app but just one thingThis is one of the greatest photo editing apps ever created! Love this appIt is relatively easy to use, though brush/ eraser sizes could be smaller for finer work. I wish I could blend edges of a cut out image put on a background so that the cut out looks like it was actually apart of picture to begin with. When colouring parts of picture it is sometimes hard to do since the colour brush wants to fill entire picture, you have to play with brush sizes for a bit and try not to press go back button. You should be able to press save button at every stage since you have to complete each function one at a time. Ex. If you are colouring your picture you can only use one colour at a time. End of an eraWhen I got this app it was LightX and it was absolutely fantastic for editing photos on the fly. I was impressed with what you could do for free compared to other photo editing apps on the market. After a few weeks, I went ahead and paid for the full version as the developers clearly put a massive effort in this app. Today, I am reviewing my pending app updates and see a new app that I know I didn’t download with “AI” in the name. Slightly confused, I checked the app history and see that it is LightX and thought maybe they are adding AI capabilities to my already paid app (for an additional cost of some kind, of course) but upon reading the app description, I see that it actually turns the app I already paid for into an annually billed subscription service. I am so glad I take the time to read these app updates prior to blindly clicking the update button. I know the developers are going to send a canned apology but, please, there is no need for the theatrics. You have some great developers and I am sure your AI app is great but I am not interested in paying any subscription fee for something I occasionally tweak my mobile phone photos on. Looks like this is where we part ways. Thank you for the years of use, LightX. Sharing the sentiments of many other "burned" LightX purchasers.I absolutely loved the original LightX app (no not the newer subscription service version) but the one-time fee one. It was super simple, effective and did all I needed it to do. Today I find out not only was I force updated to this new AI app, but despite avoiding their newer apps with subscription fees they forced this update - took away access to the LightX app which I had paid for - and now require a subscription for the same features I used to already own.
