Fun,Easy, enjoyableThis app really does help make creating simple catchy and fun beats easy for anyone to catch on to. I really do enjoy this app. I have a few ideas though. When a creator makes a lot of beats, it can be frustrating to find something they have made a while ago, so I would appreciate filters for your profile. I was thinking we could also have different key signatures and octaves as well to really help our beats with their individuality. Of course, the app could use more beats and options. I also think that we should be able to create “songs” by accessing different tracks within a beat, for example putting multiple of these short beats together in sequence to create choruses, verses, and bridges. These are my thoughts for this app. It has serious potential!Edit: I have been on the app for a while, and noticed that the sounds update and change how my beats,that have already been published, sound. This has been bad for my sound and I’m sure many others. If a beat is already published, please find a way to refrain from changing the original sound if possible? Best way to make music mobileI can’t say enough about this app. I’ve been using jambl for a few years basically out of desperation to create music in a chaotic instrument-less life. At first I wasn’t really into the sounds, but after more patience I discovered the treasure that this app really is. Jambl is basically a 4 track groove box that can be played and improvised totally on the fly with little difficulty compared to actual hardware instruments. The depth and possibilities are endless here, as you can mix and match sounds from any pack for free. Even the free version with its super long ads is worth every second. It allowed me a creative outlet during some of the most challenging parts of life, and that why I would recommend this app before ANY other mobile daw. It beats GarageBand, FL, remixlive. Honestly a fun app!It’s a really simple way to make beats if you don’t want to actually be serious about it. It’s super fun remixing peoples beats and making them your own! Yes there is a subscription service but there also a free version (that I use no problem) that just has ads. There is a delay with wireless headphones but with wired and no headphones, it works fine. You can also share beats and remix others. I’m only giving it 4 stars because not a lot of new sounds are added so it can get old. Also the social feature feels bland at times. There is really explanation to how the featured beats work? Like I’ve had one get on the main page with over 1600 plays but I don’t know how or why. There is also no way to comment on beats or see who even likes them. Also you can’t see if anyone follows you or not. If they added these features, I could really see this app becoming more popular because of how easy it is to use. This is an amazing appI would like to thanks the Jambl team and man who created this app for this amazing purpose of fueling music to us curious people. It surprised me!Really easy to make a quick beat in whichever genre. You can even mix genre’s together. To make unique blends of.. well.. Genre’s!.. There is no instruments to choose. Just lightweight, genre specific, sounds. That you can… lol, I just realized, you can SCRAMBLE around to make different JAMS to!! Almost perfectFirst off this is not a DAW aka GarageBand. It a more of a live performance type of app like drum pads 24 that you fool around on. I gives you an Idea on how beats work so you can then go and make your own in GarageBand. If you want to continue you beat in an app like GarageBand or FL Studio you could screen record without mic and get the audio. If you just screen record the individual Here are some things that I would like to see. I would like there to have more slots for instruments. You could pick sounds from different kits. Best one out there, but yet to be the best ever.Would drastically expand possible sounds if was able to use all different drum pads on any given template. For instance: only able to pair HIpHop94 with two different drum pads like Homework and Detroit limits sound possibilities. Also, if there was a record mode where we could play the loop for a given time and add effects and remove loops at certain parts would add depth and another level of creativity to come from this app. Not to mention that same record function could be used to actually save well made beats that could maybe someday be used on an actual track that gets published. Amazing app, great potentialAfter making my first beat I was instantly hooked. There’s plenty of sound packs to make unique songs and beats. Only thing is the ads.. The ads to unlock sound packs make sense. However when I’m trying to remix my beat, there’s an ad before I’m done and an ad after I’m done. It’s actually so excessive that the app won’t actually save my changes. It’ll show up in the collab section then instantly disappear when I exit and re enter. Then if I delete the collab, it’ll delete my song altogether. This can be extremely frustrating when I’ve spent hours on a beat then all of a sudden *poof* gone. Great app!!I love this app, and I think it’s awesome how you can make your own songs with different loops. I have a suggestion though. I was thinking, maybe you could put a section in where you could make full on songs and share them- like, instead of just continuing the same loops you made, you could have the choice to put in different parts to your song, instead of it being limited to 16 bars. That way people could enjoy a whole song you made by yourself, instead of the same loops playing over and over again! A little disappointedThis is a good app, but after playing around with it for a little bit, not everything repeated itself when I held my finger over the rightmost column of the drum rack. And when I close the app out, for at least 15 seconds the loop that I had composed kept on playing despite being closed out. Also, the ENTIRE video function didn’t work whatsoever on my phone. New PacksI actually love this app, I mess around with it all the time! I just can’t help but notice new packs being added to the website, but not on my app. However, yesterday a new pack popped up. So naturally through my excitement i instantly clicked it and watched the whole ad; But when I got to the end it gave me an error message and the pack eventually disappeared. There used to be new packs every week but it’s been over a month since i’ve seen a new one (other than the error). So much potentialIt’s fantastic with a great variety, but I got 5 things that annoy be with using this app. 1. You can’t look at the beats you liked. I feel like that should’ve been a thing from the get go. 2. I have to close out of the app with it still running in the background for it to load a page or just my own songs. 3. I wish they added different beats more often. Yes there is a bunch of different styles you can choose from, but if you use the app a lot, the options feel more limited. 4. When you remix someone else’s beat, there isn’t a way to get the remix if you close the app. Another thing I would’ve liked to see at launch. 5. First off I know the subscription is for the ads and if you get it you won’t have any ads, BUT even if you don’t get the subscription it doesn’t mean you have to spam ads so much. Easy to make a beat, limitations make it old quick thoughAs others have said, lots of potential and it's possible for the average Joe to make cool sounding beats. A downfall to this is the inability to make anything too complex. The melodies and chords all sound about the same, and the drums are very limited. I realize this isn't ableton, but this app will need to get at least a few more advanced features (I.e. More than 4 tracks, ability to import own samples, etc) for anyone to get continued enjoyment for more than a week or 2. Closing outI started playing around with this app for fun, because I am a musician and thought this would be interesting. Although it is interesting, there isn’t enough for people who don’t wanna spend on this app. Even at that, there aren’t many presets in all. Along with that, I have lately been experiencing the app closing out every time I try and play it. It’ll open just fine, and I’m able to click on a preset and start playing. Love it.The vocals don’t save on remixes. You have to record the vocal on the original but then you can’t delete it across remixes. These are not complaints. I enjoy this app tremendously. TrashThis app is probably one of the lower tier basic beat creating apps to put it in terms. The sounds are dry. No matter the combination. The bass frequency isn’t consistent. You’ll hear it and then it fades away, you’ll have to restart the app to fix it just for it to do it again. So much lag too. The response time on each note has some mad delay. Tried it on my buddies iPhone 11 it was laggy on his as well. Cool concept, I can see it being enjoyable for someone with no real beat production experience or a good past time while sitting on the John. The app had greatly improved since when I last left a review. You no longer have to watch an ad everytime to unlock the effects and DJ, but you still have to watch an ad for the other soundpacks, which isnt much of a bother me. Here's my suggestion though, how about the ability to sort of copy and paste parts of your beats?
