Thank You! **Updated**Back to Five Stars. The developer responded to my post and cleared up my issue (user error). Disregard the following paragraph (the remaining review still holds true). I removed a star as there is one great feature from BM3 that is not available in the new version: The ability to adjust the current bill amount. In BM3 you had the option to edit the bill (for the current amount) or account (for all upcoming payments). I used that option to update the bill once I knew the amount. Since I typically get the bill two weeks in advance I could plan accordingly by adjusting the amount due for the given month. Please restore this feature. Even though the developer left us high and dry for months, I am extremely thankful that the app was not totally abandoned. Let’s face it, BillMinder is THE BEST bill reminder app available. Nothing else compares. When my emails went unanswered, I was forced to find another app. I went through several alternative apps which never quite cut the mustard. Then I saw BillMinder 4 in the store and didn’t hesitate buying it. Sure, there are some changes and improvements and I can deal with them. The core functionality is still there and that is why it is the best app. I only hope the developer stays with us for the long haul this time..FshnmichVersion: 4.1

Have come to depend on this app but I’m having trouble.I’ve been using this app for years. I’ve even tipped the developers. But a couple years ago I upgraded my phone and have never been able to get the phone to sync up with my iPad. I log on and it shows my bills but says it’s been over a year since I paid any. So I just let my iPad do the reminding. Inconvenient but not a deal breaker. But technology keeps moving forward. So now I have purchased another iPad. It’s done the same thing. Billminder shows that all the bills I have paid in the past are past due. Over 400 of them. And the current bills are showing up duplicated twice! Since there seems to be no way to reach support I’m afraid that I have no choice but to regrettably look for another app..EvkinVersion: 4.3.2

Dissapointed!!!Because the original app was not updated for almost a year and then ceased to even function is very very upsetting. I was one of the original beta testers and loved the app only to be left behind with NO warnings or notices, just left hanging. Was then forced to take another route and chose "Mint" app which works but is annoying and could never replace the original Billminder. NOW, out comes "4" and all the faithful are required to buy it again and THIS is why you get 3 stars!!! The faithful should have only had to pay $2 for an upgrade and not get hosed. I will be attacking this app with the same vigor as I did the original and the stars will either go up or down pending my usage and Beta experience! Happy to see an update however...Update pocket money sync no longer working! Frustrating! Also reoccurring bills not working! Are these being fixed! Now there seems to be a problem with reoccurring bills, they seem to be skipping a month for monthly reoccurrence. I have to go in and edit the next due date. Very disappointed-Updated not as disappointedSince posting this the developer did add in the pocket money feature. Still disappointed in their lack of communication. Since the pocket money sync has been added back in I have updated my stars as this was a huge reason for me using this product. The calendar portion is small. And the dashboard is useless. I would have preferred to toggle between the dashboard and calendar. Glad this app didn’t die but...It would have been wonderful since you have all our email addresses if you could have sent out an email about this version being released. Most other devs with an app of this caliber do that, and would have been great to keep customers in the know. We are the paycheck, after all. I’ve read through many reviews, lots of complaints but my first impression is decent. The app works, and it synced my data with little issue. I hope it can return to its former glory in time. I’m really missing the “swipe to pay” feature to swipe to the right on a bill and be given an option to mark it as paid without going into the bill pay screen. Thank youThank you for being the only app that I can use across two devices! This is the only app that can manage on my phone that updates automatically on my husbands. It allows him to see my stress and anxiety 😉😂 on a daily basis so that he see that I am not just being dramatic! I will grateful, that you updated because I have spent weeks trying other apps and not one works as easy this one. Not the mention being able to load the website and phone numbers of bills this a small thing but it makes bill payment and issues a breeze. Nice app for tracking billsGreat app for tracking bills. I Like the autopay and manual features. Wish it had a cash flow planning feature. For example, if on the calendar view if there was a button to allow you to select bills in a time frame or quickly tap/I tap to see upcoming bills and see the total, it would be helpful. Currently, it shows you total for all bills for the month. But when trying to cash flow plan for certain pay periods it would be helpful to select a different time window. Overall, great app, worth the price. It meets a specific need. If you want to track/manage bills and don’t need all the “budget” tools, this is your app..Heppd2Version: 4.2.2

Best app but....This one by far is the best. It’s simple and easy to use. Great interface, I enjoy being able to see the pie chart after all my expenses are imputed. I have used other apps but always come back to this one. I would love to give this app 5 stars. But.... I want to reset my account. I haven’t actually updated my bills in the app in a while...and I am having an issue figuring out how to “start over” without it showing all of my past bill history. In the FAQ section is says to delete an account go to settings > manage account. But there is no manage account section under settings. Does The JobI had and older version and liked it but Apple kept notifying mean that the app had to be updated since it could slow down IOS as new versions were downloaded. I reluctantly began to try other reminder apps but I didn’t find any that were as simple to use as BillMinder. Although I wasn’t all that enthusiastic about the price for this version of BillMinder I downloaded it and I am happy to have it once again. I guess it’s the price of progress. Love the app, but needs slight adjustmentWould be five star, but would like the ability to assign a color to each category and/or bill. I like my bills to show up red and income to show up as green. I don’t use the app for budgeting but to keep track of mine and my boyfriends paychecks and child support coming in along with the bills for the household. Other apps offer the color ability but they don’t offer the sync with account. Only iCloud or drop box. Ok but like the previous betterIf I have to move to this due to updates I can live with it but like the old format better. Liked the list to left and big calendar to right on Dashboard. Don't like new dashboard. All my info crossed over. I'll try to live with it but will continue to use current version until I have no choice. Used to be betterI’ve used this app for years to keep track of my bills and payments. Never had an issue with it on my old 4S. I just got the new iPhone 11 Pro and — aside from having to pay at for an app I’ve had for FREE — I’ve noticed it’ll show on each account when the next bill is due as clearly as I’ve set it, but for some reason it won’t show up at all in the Upcoming screen. I don’t know if this is some sort of bug or something but I hope it gets fixed soon. I keep having to add a payment I just made to the wrong month because the current one won’t show up. Seriously would not live without this!I have used so many budget apps, but they all try to automate everything, and I wanted more manual control (since my life is kinda messy). While this has its glitches here and there, that’s to be expected for a free app. This app gives me the control I want in a user friendly interface that is easy for me to interpret and monitor. Fix Authentication Issue!!Have used Billminder for years and have loved it...until the update. I used it Saturday just fine. Go to use it today and get a message it Requires Authentication, but it isn’t accepting Touch ID Authentication which seems to be working just fine with every other app. Went to the FAQ page which stated I could turn this off in the app Settings tab.....Which, um, DUH, I would certainly DO IF I COULD GET BACK IN THE APP... and the other reviewer is correct, no Developer contact. Has been great until recent....I have used this app for a few years now and have been very happy but recently the calendar view isn’t working (a feature I use frequently) and it is causing the app to close itself out when I try and change it to that view from the list view. Hoping that gets fixed soon because it is very frustrating. Also having issues with it opening back up when looking between apps without having to actually close the app and reopen. Just lost everythingUpdate: Ok maybe it just took a while to repopulate the data. Except for cleaning up a few things, everything seems to be back. Long time user of this indispensable app. I used it exclusively on an iPad pro with no account. Well I just decided to put it on my iphone as well and it seems to have lost nearly everything except for some bills that I haven’t had for years. Moral of the story, back up often! Great app, and improvement suggestion.I’ve been using for a long time, so I know this is just a little bug. If other categories are created they don’t link to the overall graph that displays all categorical expenses. Please ensure the new categories are correctly linked then will be accurate again. Also a small request: it’s very helpful to have a category that will help with short term and temporary expense planning that gets accounted for in the monthly total (great addition- thank you!). Do not use this app!I’ve been using this BillMinder app since May 2014, almost 7 years, flawlessly. At the beginning of the new year, 2021, everything has gone wrong. First, it has tripled all of my entries. There seems to be no way to correct that. Now it’s just deleting bills. I just entered a new bill for my power company, and it disappeared! FINALLY... But Bring Back Dark Mode!!!With the new IOS quickly approaching. I was starting to panic because the older version was set not to be compatible. I've trie just about all other Bill Reminder apps in the App Store in search of a replacement. Nothing works like Billminder. This new version of the app is great. Just log-in and all your data is there. I'd give it 5-Stars but it needs to have the Dark Mode again. The white screen is too bright in the dark. Missing from BM3I am glad version 4 is here and it works great, however, I have a few suggestions. I tried finding an email or some way to contact support but there isn’t an address anywhere I see. The thing I am missing is the ability to refresh the bills from the server. If I make a change in BM3 it doesn’t show up in BM4 unless I logout and back in. The reason I am still using BM3 is the ability to “send to pocket money”. That is a HUGE loss from 3->4 for me and I hope you bring it back to 4 in a update soon. Horrible app!!I just spent over an hour adding all of my bills. Upon closing the app and reopening it, it showed that I had NO BILLS Due for the next thirty days!! I specifically added them all right, as I had them all written down on a notepad. The app showed them due for the following next two months. The app is crap!! Don’t waste your money on it. Missing some worthwhile featuresI do not like the new interface. In my opinion, the old Billminder interface was better. I cannot find a way to export or print "bills due" in this version, at least not without having to awkwardly do a Screen snapshot and print. Ok, I think it’s time...I hate to say this but BillMinder MUST be on a subscription basis to better support steady updates. I’ve tried so many other bill reminder apps and BillMinder always comes out to be the best. So I ask the developer here (since there’s no other way to contact them): • revamp the interface to have a better flow. • please give us theme options. The green and white is kind of depressing. • most importantly, please refine the notifications. Sometimes they just don’t go off and I had missed a few bills in the past. Would it work better if the user were to save all info in iCloud or Dropbox? • refine for iOS 13 and Dark Mode. please make the subscription price reasonable, perhaps $5 or $7 annual. Mixed feelingsI’ve been using BillMinder since it was first released. The new UI is ok and I’m glad we have an update for iOS 11. However, it seems a little unfair to charge us again and remove some of the features that were available in previous versions. Others are complaining about not having passcode even though I prefer Touch ID, but I can understand because Touch ID doesn’t work for everyone. But the feature I used the most was “Send to PocketMoney.” I am at a loss that I’ve repurchased this app and lost this time saving feature that I used to have. One thing though that I have been wondering (since most recent update is 3+ months ago) is are you still updating/improving the app? Very Good...ButLike many others I was a faithful user for years. I’m a little paranoid because the developers seemed to abandon the app, but then came back with this new version. I’m not too put off that I had to repurchase the app — I’m glad to have it back. However (like other users) I am not fond of the new look. Can't Log InHad no issues until today when it won't let me log in. Won't read my fingerprint (shingled part of the house and scratched up my fingertips so the phone won't read my print) and when I try to enter my password it tells me that I need authentication even before I try to enter the password. So, if the plus and minus signs were added to the number keypad when creating or editing the amount of a bill, that would more easily allow the us to track our monthly budget, and would allow us to know what our balance could be at the end of each month, instead of only the total of all bills. >>>>I’ve kinda already done this by creating a number keyboard shortcut to drop a minus sign in front of “bills” to differentiate between income and a bill/expense. Good App but...The snapshot is great, but it really doesn’t do anything your phone calendar can’t do. There’s two issues I see. If you pay a partial payment on a recurring bill, for that month it shows the remainder but doesn’t add it to the next month, so your monthly total is not correct. The other issue is when I toggled on the feature to adjust due dates that fall on weekends, it took out ALL of my due dates- it didn’t adjust them, it deleted them! I had to go back in and redo all of the due dates. It was really frustrating, and now I have to manually go in and readjust due dates every month. I don’t think this app was worth the price tag seeing as it’s not really doing what’s promised, and it doesn’t give you a clear picture. For this, I could have used the free built in calendar on my phone. I also don’t like how you can’t add income. This app would be perfect if you could add income and it would show you daily what your balance would be should you pay bills on their due dates, like a running balance..JenniPoPVersion: 4.2.2

Was a great app once but not anymoreThis app was perfect for what I needed in a bill tracking app - user friendly, accurate, easy to update/edit bills. No frills but definitely beyond adequate. I used it religiously for many years. Unfortunately it looks like the developers have just dropped the ball completely. My bills are suddenly doubling or even quadrupling within the app - for example, my internet bill and car payment both show up 4 times each, making it look like I owe 4 times as much for those bills each month. App also crashes multiple times while using. Sometimes I can apply a payment to 2 or 3 bills before it crashes but other times it crashes after each bill is updated with a payment. These two issues combined make the app virtually unusable. Too bad that I’ll have to go look for something else after all these years..TwinkseesVersion: 4.4.0

Want the previous layout back!I panicked tonight when I downloaded iOS11 to my iPad and then couldn’t get into BillMinder! I had no warning the old version would not work on 11 and had not received any notice of the update available on the App Store. I finally found it and debated for a few hours about buying because of other reviews. Finally decided to go ahead and get the new version. Now my biggest complaint - PUT BACK THE OLD LAYOUT! It was great having the bills listed on the left and the large calendar showing daily amounts due on the right. This layout was the main reason I started using this app in the first place! I HAVE NO USE FOR THE CHARTS AND GRAPHS! Get rid of the dashboard or put as optional page to click on! Boo Hiss - Ask for a tip, then say servers sync ending?!I have used BillMinder since the beginning, for years, I have everything in here, synced for access across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I log in today, pop up asks for a tip, I pay it with a smile as it is my go to app as much as email. Then I see a notice in the settings, go there and it says the syncing servers are going offline. No more syncing, only use on one device, what if it fails, gets dropped, whatever, that makes the app worthless to me. You should not ask for tips now that your servers are going offline unless you make it sync in my iCloud account. And if you are planning on that, tell us, so me, and I’m sure many others are not scouring the App Store looking for an alternative!.Think5StepsAheadVersion: 4.4.1

Disappointing UpdateUpdated in 2019: I really do not want to give up on this app because this is truly the best bill reminder app I have used for years. But it seems they just can’t get this problem with double bill correctly. Its a PITB to have to manually delete duplicate bills that keep showing up month after month for a handful of bills. And yes, it still crashes! My previous issue below was not solved either, I had to manually delete everything and start from scratch in building my data, again, major PITB!!! It crashes. Repeatedly. I made a backup of my previous data and emailed them to myself, then imported this to the new billminder and every detail has gone bonkers. Even the details on my old billminder are now bonkers. Bills from last year suddenly popped up. I now supposedly have 27 overdue bills. I really wanted this app to work. Even if you had me pay again despite paying for the previous version already. I wanted to give you 5 dollars yet again to give you the benefit of the doubt you will make it right by us, despite leaving us hanging for years already without tech support..MaanTiburcioVersion: 4.2.6

Issues with iOS 12.0...? I need app support!I looked for a support tool/email in the app and did not find it; therefore, this review. I really like the structure and organization of the app. However, I keep running into the following issues: - Face ID - I can’t open the app when logging back into it after switching to another app. It seems that I have to remove it from the recent apps log for me to login again. This shouldn’t be happening. - Bills disappeared - I added my accounts and monthly bills. The next day, the bills were no longer there. The accounts are still in the app but the recurring bills are not showing at all. - Customer support - I wanted to reach out directly to the developer to address the above issues but there is not contact information in the app or their website for customer support. I kindly request that you please contact me and address the above-mentioned issues as soon as possible. What Happened???I’ve used this app for years, but for some reason I started not paying some bills on time. So over Christmas break I completely reviewed the app and figured out that the repeats for ever tab isn’t working correctly. I’ve gone through every bill and selected no repeat then went back into the bill and selected repeats forever. I’ve reviewed every month and I’m now good until next May, but for some unknown reason it drops some of the bills after that. It’s completely mind boggling how great this app used to be, but now is randomly dropping bills off for no reason. Once this is fixed, I will upgrade back to 5 stars. HORRIBLE! Update uselessOld app saved & kept track of every payment & I had a few years worth of detailed info for every bill. This “update” saves NOTHING. Keeps no payment history. Each time I record making a payment, it is as if I’ve never made a payment before. I’ve tried getting app assistance & the link takes you to a page w no help at all. A dead end. I am very upset. I lost years worth of records that originally imported & then disappeared & now it saves nothing. I spent hours & hours setting all my bill info up in that app. The new version is USELESS. If someone wants to help me fix this issue, I’d appreciate it bc I’m about to just buy a different one & stop messing w this one. Deserves ZERO stars. Lost original app with no warningI’ve been using the original app since 2009 and love, love, love it. I begrudgingly updated my phone to iOS 11 because my bank app wouldn’t work if I didn’t. Went to see what bills I needed to pay and low and behold it is not supported by iOS 11. I have lost 9 years of bill history, not to mention I don’t know what bills are coming due. One reviewer mentioned that by buying the latest version her original version reloaded and updated once the original email and password was entered and she is able to use it. So, I bought the new version and no such luck. I am so sick I can just not put into words. I have even emailed the developer and nothing. Bad business return7. Apple keeps losing this review.Ok, for the umpteen time I'm writing this review over, again. The quality of this app just keeps dropping but at least this developer has finally started replying at least to 'other' customers. The iPhone app rarely agrees with the iPad app. Sync'ing is spotty. Over the last two years I have found Billminder to be less and less reliable. Sync'ing with my iPad Air never worked well. My iPad Pro is better but it is poor on my iPhone. NOW I just discovered that Billminder has apparently lost my entire payment history for ALL of my bills. That cuts it. Bogus9/9/22: of all the Bill apps, this one offers the most, however, I got suckered again. The app developer is now shutting down their servers so I dont know if that means they’ll eventually quit updating for new IOS in future. I bought the first BillMinder and it was lazily updated, crashed constantly, and left me feeling cheated. I very hesitantly purchased this version bc it appears they intentionally let one app crash to get you to buy another “updated” version thus stringing you along. I HATE this VersionI cannot use my original BillMinder because developers have not updated to the new latest Apple updated software. I had and have overdue bills and has put me in chaos mode, not to mention LATE FEES THAT HAVE OCCURRED!!!!! This current version is not user friendly and it has added steps that are frustrating and in many cases just not necessary. I hate even more so that I cannot view my bill calendar in large screen. Cannot close my accountI recently signed up for this app and no longer need it. I have tried to close/cancel my account but there does not appear to be any way to do this, and there does not appear to be any way to contact the app developers for help with this. GlitchingSince January all of my bills have started coming into my app 4 times, and when I go in to delete the extras it removes the bill altogether!
