HandyA great app with great features, but a few flaws. Features: -I absolutely love the ability to put in the starting note and be able to hear the scale. Flaws: -The only real flaw I could find is that the note(s) play for a set time rather than as long as you press the virtual button (a feature found on many free pitch apps). -I’m not entirely sure what the pitch assistant is supposed to do, but maybe that’s just me. Looks like it doesn’t scale out properly. The app also feels slightly unpolished, but that’s not very important to me as long as it works. This is the pipe to get.Have tried several pipes; this is clearly the one for gigging musicians. Pros: the musician’s “holy grail” of Watch apps, a stand-alone pitch pipe that plays the note directly from the Apple Watch. Excellent, clean interface. Indispensable. Also: a responsive layout on iOS devices. Cons: plays pitch for a set time (~1 sec.). Would prefer the control of touch-to-play, release-to-stop on an iPhone/iPad.
