Thanks to the fare estimation feature, iTaksi lets you know the cost of a trip in advance. The “Fare Calculation” screen will provide you with an estimation of the expected fare and duration prior to the trip.
Waiting indefinitely for a taxi in the rain will no longer be a burden- iTaksi will pair you with the nearest available taxi at the touch of a button, rendering traditional taxi-hailing outdated.
iTaksi offers three means of travel depending on your needs: Standard yellow taxi, turquoise taxi for more comfortable rides and black taxi for luxury while traveling.
There are 3 payment methods at your disposal: cash, credit card and istanbulkart. You can define multiple credit cards in advance and specify the one you wish to pay with for a particular ride.
Upon the end of the ride, you are granted the option to rate the driver and submit a comment.
To save you time, frequently used addresses may be saved under “Favorites” so as to speed up taxi requests.
To ensure security, the iTaksi vehicles are equipped with dual cameras and record video images, without sound.
Complaints and suggestions about the iTaksi app or iTaksi trips can be reported to the Municipal Help Line (153) or submitted on our official website of itaksi.com.

Use public transportation is better, safer and cheaper. I got scammed by these drivers two times and yeah I learned a lesson To take it again what matter my circumstances is.
Basically they change the route to take more money and when you tell them to take the best route they will not listen to you.
Don’t tell you need Turkish to tell I know that I already I took 3 months course so I can survive here!

US numbers don’t get the verification codeI tried several times to register with a US number and it says it sent the verification code but I never got it. Very bad experiences with Istanbul taxi service and their scams. Get rid of this and only have Uber or Lyft. A taxi driver gave me a fare of 100 Lira for a 4 minute drive and scammed me by taking 100 Lira and insisting that I gave him just 20 twice, I ended up giving him 260 Lira because he took 100 lira bills twice and returned 20 liras twice and finally took another 100 lira. There was another person with him in the front seat. Another one dropped me at Egyptian spice market instead of the Grand Bazaar and it was a long steep walk.
