Amazing progression game with no adsI have been playing this for over a year on and off. I finally decided to come and leave a review because this game totally deserves it. It’s very high quality and has NO ADS. You can totally play through the game comfortably without making any purchases - they make it so the in app purchases will add to your experience and not make it pay to win (even though there’s no competition in the game). With that being said, I have been loving this game for so long, I decided to make a couple purchases because I genuinely enjoy this game and have spent countless hours compared to the dollars spent. I was happy to finally support the developers. But like I said, you can play this entire game enjoyably without paying a cent or have to watch ads like every other game. Other things - the animation is great, a lot of fun designing your own shops and customizing your heroes which you send on quests to gather materials, and, if your lucky, being a member of an active guild is a lot of fun and everyone I’ve encountered has been exceptionally nice. It’s a great game you can spend hours actively playing or check in and play casually. Plus, there’s constant special events (one you have to craft certain items, one you equip your team to fight a series of dragons for better rewards, etc) that further deepen the game. One of the best games on the phoneThis is one of the most well executed games ever on the phone. You may see people complain that things are too expensive to buy. But who is having fun spending actual money on a free game? For those who like to save their money, this game provides a good number of workarounds. For instance, Gems, are the premium currency to rush upgrades or whatever you want. In most games, you may get like 5 in a month if you’re lucky, otherwise you have to buy. Here, you can complete goals for tickets. You use tickets in a slot machine for tokens. Those tokens can be used to buy premium items like enchantments, gems, or hero upgrades. The slot machine is also not rigged like most games. It usually takes me 15 pulls to get jackpot. (I recommend waiting until you get 20 tickets and just putting it on auto spin). Many shop upgrades like building expansions, more tables, crafting slots, character slots, quest slots, are all locked behind level requirements and a certain amount of gold. When you see it, you want it. You want it and therefore you save your money and continue to play until your reached the required level until you finally achieve your goal. You actually work hard for the things you get but not in the grindy battle pass way. Legitimately a good gameDownloaded this after seeing an ad. They get at least one star just for using real game footage for their ads. The game is fun, easy to play, and despite being an AFK game, there is a lot to do real-time. You can actually customize your shop as shown in the ads, and there is a lot to do with customization. The devs are constantly working on new things, they don’t shove micro-transactions down your throat and frequently just give out gems so you can still do most things they you would need to pay real money for. They wisely hold SOME things back for real money but it doesn’t hamper the game at all. If I had one request of the devs: Add more to character customization. Yes, there is a lot to customize, but legitimately everyone just hits the thankfully-convenient “optimize” button, and we live with what we get. Maybe different skins for items, or being able to select the skin of “lower tier items” in order to aesthetically fit a character model; (i.e. having a Knight look like a knight but actually be wearing Samurai armor). Could be an unlock with slightly different color tones, or select a drop down of skins in the individual character UI..Dmcfarland08Version: 10.4.1

Great game...if you don’t mind spending or are ok with not having everythingThis game is seriously awesome, I’ve never been more into a phone game...but they charge for a LOT of things, some I don’t mind, but others rub me the wrong way. There’s the usual freemium currency, fine, cool you can find it or buy it...there’s a premium membership at $9.99 a month that adds extra loot and better ability to repair gear...also fine...there’s packages that help you unlock new champions faster, but you can get them all eventually without them, cool cool...but where it starts to get under my skin is that there’s now 3 or 4 item trees that are locked behind paywalls, costs $30 to get guns and crossbows, and another $20 to get wands and basic enchanting components (you can still FIND the enchanting components, but can’t make them. Hence 3 or 4) Don’t get me wrong, I’m still playing, and I’d be tempted by the pay content...if it removed all the waiting for gear and/or quests. If I’m paying console/pc money for a game, I want to be able to play it like a console/pc game. I don’t want to drop $60 for a game I can only play for 5-10 minutes every half hour to an hour, I want to be able to pick it up for as long as I want and not feel like I need to fill the time while I wait for the game to give me permission to keep playing. Very fun, could use some structureI've always had a sweet spot for 'Run a shop of your own design' games, and this game is no exception. The product making system is simple but balanced and I like how the wide variety of customers ensured that everything will eventually sell, though it does limit consequences for poor choices. The selling UI is unique and intuitive, though I find it a little silly that you can just surcharge any customer you want for no reason with no reprocussions. Really my biggest gripe with the game is that there's no way to close up shop; most games of this genre have a "Close up shop" feature or an "End of shift" condition that happens at the end of a day. This is good because it gives the player a good stopping point if they need to put the game down, and time where there are no customers to prep for the next day. The game offers no such respite, when the day is over you it turns to night and you keep working untill it's day at which point you keep working. The customers never stop coming in, the doors never close. This constant stream of customers is hard to keep up with and is occasionally overwhelming. I think the game could benefit from a feature which matches the day-night cycle to an open-closed cycle to allow players the option to work through the night prepping for the next day..CooCoox8Version: 9.6.1

Game Has PotentialI love this game, I can go back to it every once in a while. There are a few problems. One problem is that when a customer asks for an item, I have the item but it’s a different quality (like epic quality) and the customer won’t buy it I have to suggest the customer and waste energy, to get the same item but a different quality. I absolutely hate this because I think I ran out of the item but all reality I do have the item just not the right quality. It should be that the customer will take the item no matter the quality. There’s also a problem with inventory. I have so much problems trying to figure out what I have in each thing but it’s so difficult. A sort button for constructing things would be nice instead of whatever was recently made. Towns/Guilds are often rude too. I know it can’t be fixed but I joined a guild and then not even a day later I was kicked out for no reason. It’s hard to find guilds who are active or English guilds. I’m currently in a guild and I didn’t know the primary language was German. I’m glad some of the guild speaks English but it would of been nice to know that the guild was German speaking only. A lot of things are time consuming or get boring so I leave the game. Even upgrading does so much. It costs so much to upgrade or make it further and it’s annoying. It’s great but...I love their game! They have so many options, and so many items for you to sell. You even start with a small shop, then grow just like any other shop in real life! But there’s one thing... I deleted the app then remembered It a while later. I expected to have my data gone, but it wasn’t. Some may say “Well that’s good, right?” Well, I hoped for it to be gone. I wanted to restart with my current knowledge, so I looked through the settings menu but found no buttons having to do with deleting data or anything. The game just doesn’t have an option for players who want to restart, to restart. They may have forgotten what they used to know and need a tutorial. Sure, that’ll get em started up if they do have a tutorial for the game. But they probably won’t want to start further into the game because there might be more options that are now available that weren’t in that tutorial, and may not be able to be re-explained. Has potential to be five stars. Has issues that keep it from achievingGraphically it’s pretty good looking. Gameplay is ok. There’s plenty to do unless you’re an out of resources and even then it doesn’t take long for it to refill. There are a few problems however. Whenever somebody leaves a town any investments they’ve made in that town go with them. That needs to go away. That’s death to any town that’s just for fun. By just for fun I mean the non-super ridiculously competitive towns. I’ve logged out and had buildings at level four and five and six and log back in only to have them back at two or 3. The market needs work. Keyword searches are far more affective than that thing that you’re doing. We can sell multiple things the same time in the market and yet we cannot buy multiple things at the same time in the market. Constantly getting disconnected. I know what you’re going to say it’s your Internet. It’s not my Internet. It’s you. You. It really has the potential to be a five star game but due to these issues it’s not. I’m sure I’m forgetting something. Figured out what I was forgetting. There needs to be a way to cancel whatever you’re producing. There are several times now when I have just been trying to scroll through my items and I’ve accidentally started to make something that I didn’t want to. I wish I could give it a 5 but it’s only getting a 4I adore this game. I’ve been playing it for over a year, fully subbed and everything. This most recent dragon event which was new, completely scammed me out of a reward, as it did to many others (which is annoying…did the work, didn’t get the reward) I messaged support, because I’ve literally had one issue before this and that was because of the dragon event (game was constantly crashing, they told me to try things, I did, still didn’t work, obviously the new patch bugged out for a lot of people.) anyways I messaged support again for my new issue, and it was completely unresponsive. The bot that answered before didn’t answer and neither did anyone from the support team. There’s also a new issue for the newest event(event was posted in game before so not super new) where it crashes your game if you try to send heroes out to the dungeon for the event (confirmed with both guild and global chat) I’m frustrated because I hardly leave negative reviews and I really enjoy this game a lot, but I’ve found that recently, it’s been really irritating to play the game. Addicting and enjoyable game, just one small issueShop titans puts a spin on average tycoon simulation games, making it not only fun but unique to other bland tycoons. A unique store-based way to make money and turn based combat really gives the player a new, fresh way to make money. While the game is very addicting, I personally found one small problem with my gameplay; My items breaking too quickly. When you send your characters on “quests,” their items have a chance of breaking during the process, but usually at a low probability. However, these items break more often than not. While it may not seem like a big deal at first, it starts to really ruin your gameplay once your high leveled item that you put hard work and effort gets destroyed on its first fight. To put things shortly, the “item break” mechanic can really sap the actual fun out of this game, because not only do you lose that item, you also must craft ANOTHER item for said character that had their item broke. This then just creates a cycle of non-stop create then destroy then create again. I’m NOT saying this mechanic should be removed, I’m just saying it should be tweaked a little so you don’t lose something like a tier 6 staff in less than 2 fights..Surreal criticVersion: 3.3.1

Been Hooked for 2-3 MonthsThis game is wonderful! I would pay so much money to be able to speak with the developer or psychology consult regarding the game’s feedback loop. I am so FASCINATED at how perfect they nailed it. There is always something you could be doing. Waiting for items to craft? Time to sell and get some experience. Out of items? Buy some for cost or lower on the marketplace and sell those for profit! To enjoy the game fully I recommend looking at in game chat or their community Discord/Reddit and joining an active guild - they’re quite hard to find using the guild matching system. Yes, there are some steep packages you can buy for real money. My game spending limit is always based on $1/hour of gameplay (way cheaper than a movie) and I have yet to go over that. I told myself in October that if I was still playing in January I would buy the more expensive of the two merchants. I played the game just fine without her but her perks ARE pretty nice. Great gameThis game is one of the more fun games ive found on mobile. In fact id rate it number 2 of all games (number 1 being smash by ATA which is no longer available). Me and my girlfriend have both picked up this game and we recently have had a newborn so we have less time to do many things but are able to play on our phones still so we try really hard to progress in this game when we get the chance. We’ve met good people and when our inactive guild was dying we grouped up the other 2 people who were still active and brought them with us to a new guild which has great people who are helping us grow. We’re currently level 49 and 52 and have numerous t11 items. Definitely looking forward to the t12s coming out in the next update. The game constantly updates and has events which is a huge plus , my one and only complaint with the game is the over pricing of their packs. I know its not necessary to buy the packs but sometimes id love to get a pack for $5 or something rather than $20-$30. Regardless i have bought several IAP in support of the creators because i believe the game is good enough to support. Amazing game, some suggestions hereAbsolutely love the game it’s a brand new concept and nothing like I’ve ever seen before unlike all these knockoff fake recreated games that all game developers are pushing out these days. Love the game all around just would like some more customization with my own character with more vibrant colors and maybe an option for a backpack or satchel as well as maybe different styled hats as well. Another thing that I’m sure is highly requested is a better way to redecorate, as a person who is always wanting to change up how their shop looks it’s just a hassle to move every piece and then have other things in the way. I suggest having a layout system whether you want full efficiency shop or a well decorated shop. Games like Clash of Clans who have all your items stored and then you can remake and design your shop however you may like. I’d also like to see some more guild teamwork stuff. For example like top investors get a reward back or compete with other guilds for shop worth. I think it would bring a little competitiveness to the game. Great, fresh concept, love it. There is something else...I think this is a good game, but what I would really, really, REALLY, want to see in the next update, is that you can become one of the costumers. Like, start your adventure, you know, design your character, chose if you are going to be a knight, a barbarian, a soldier, and all that stuff, then go to shops, and be able to do exactly what the costumers do. Look at stuff, and then see what the shopkeeper will do. Then, you can do missions for people, defeat monsters, and do what you can do in the current version when you send your troops on quests, but you can control everything, and pls don’t make it so you take a fight turn, and then your opponent does, like in this current version. I hate fighting games that do it. If you do add this update, I will try to write another review, and tell you if it was what I meant or not. And also, I think that some of the prices for new workers are too expensive, like for the scholar and the gun mechanic. I think you would earn more money if you lowered the prices by, say, %50, because then a lot more people would buy those packages. At the current prices, I don’t think many people actually buy these. Absolutely fantasticI normally don’t write reviews, but this is one game that I’ve been absolutely thrilled with. For starters, the membership is absolutely worth it, and I never thought I’d say that about a mobile game. You get so much for $9.99 a month. Its a fantastic game whether you play solo or join a guild. I played solo until about level 50, before I really understood what the guilds did. It took some work, but it was well worth the reward when I did get as high as I did before finding a guild. And the guild I found is wonderful. I found a guild that plays the same way I do, so advancing is definitely easier than it was while I played solo. Some of the items are a bit expensive compared to other games I’ve played, but I’ve found that I really haven’t needed to purchase much of anything to advance In the game. I do think the prices on some things could definitely drop, but even if they didn’t, I wouldn’t stop playing. Love itI love this game and i have some ideas. Once you get all the expansions you should be able to continue to expand upwards so you either upgrade expansions or continue purchasing new ones. It would also be cool if you had an auto craft slot where you press and hold and it automatically crafts and collects and item of your choice once you have the materials. You could also add in like a restaurant slot you can buy where you buy tables and cook recipes to unlock more recipes. You should also add in specific counter for later in the came where you can hire employees and have them sell whatever the counter is like generalizations such as weapons armour headgear magic items stuff like that. Also prestige shouldn’t just be a leaderboard thing it should also attract customers. You could also make like a display case where you put rare weapons but not like high end stuff epic and legendary stuff and have it automatically surcharge stuff in it and depending on the tier and quality of items in it have it add prestige. One of the best mobile games yet.I give it 4 out of 5 stars for a certain reason and we will get to that in just one moment. The reason I like this game some much is not just because of the crafting, questing, and building up your shop. It’s the communities and events. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve laughed out loud and all around enjoyed myself while chatting with guild members. It’s incredible especially for me I work 16 hour days 7 days a week so this is a game that I don’t have to play for 3 hours at a time. I can hop on craft some stuff send out some quests and check back in an hour or so. It works great. The only thing that I do not agree with is how little you receive when buying GEMS. I’ve probably spent (being generous here) $1000 on the game and I feel as though the payouts for the gems could be increased by 20%. Or at least have special events where you get twice as many gems for the same price kind of like how my favorite VR game (PokerStars VR) does it double or triple payout events for the same price. Outstanding support!!So yesterday, myself and a few others, got extremely upset when an event reset itself and everyone lost all their progress and potential rewards. The Devs took responsibility and sent out an in-game mail stating that the game had an issue and apologized for the reset. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do to put everyone back to where they originally were. They said they would send out a “reward” to everyone in the future, for this mishap. If anyone has played any mobile games you know that most Devs don’t give a rip about player base that much. But I am here to say that these Devs went above and beyond in the reward. Not only did they send tokens to everyone’s mail but gave EVERYONE full points, for the entire event, to get every reward! I am very impressed with this. It’s an extremely fun game and one that I am happy to play and spend a little money on here and there. Good game, crashes constantly, less fun around level 3Fun game if you (like me) love loot. The game crashes constantly though. Sometimes I open it and immediately collect quest rewards as fast as I can in an effort to get there before the app crashes but I can’t. It’s gotten worse recently; now it won’t stay open more than a few minutes even if I’m not doing anything. Also, at higher levels the costs for things (even if you are strictly playing the free version) are prohibitive. Unlocking the first uncommon resource takes something like 30 million gold. (I play almost constantly and am level 38 and still have millions to go before I can unlock this.) Maybe this is to encourage guild cooperation but it can be difficult to find players willing to invest all their earnings constantly into upgrading the resources, because upgrading your shop and hiring heroes etc also costs a ton of gold. This has caused a hard block on progression because all the tier 5 items require these resources I have no way of getting until I’ve generated enough gold to unlock them. It’ll probably take me a close to a month of just grinding to unlock these things and I kind of feel like I might just close this game for good before I ever get there..TheilleistVersion: 3.1.1

Account loss, who cares? (revised)Shop Titans by all means is a great game. The mechanics, quest system, shop progression, market, everything is well made. Micro transactions are ludicrously overpriced but not overly necessary to buy. My problem is with a recent update, my account was wiped. I was just talking to a new guild member to try and help him out with tactics to best improve his shop. I tried to visit his shop but I received an error explaining that my game version was outdated. I go to the appstore to update. I log back in and whatdya know, i’m back at the character creation and my account recovery is unavailable. So many hours of game time and progression out the window, along with the fact that I spent money on the game. I contacted player support and they've seen to have discarded my ticket. Play this game at your own risk and for peetsake don’t spend money Edit for dev response: Forgot to update the review. I received full support over a few day period and recovered my account. Update has lots of bugs!While I love this game, this latest update introduced many new bugs. For one, a few times my guild members and I start a bounty, and begin crafting the bounty item, but no matter how ma y you craft it doesn’t register with the bounty. It’s happened to me 3 times the last 2 days. The only option is to abandon the bounty, which you are limited in doing. Another bug is that the energy bar keeps getting replaced by the the red coins that you spend on grab bags. Every time I go from the guild menu back to my shop my energy bar disappears. The only solution is to hard close the game which is frustrating! Another bug we found was clearing rewards from the quest event that just ended- half the time the Done button would disappear and you would get stuck on that screen, with no way to get out but hard closing the game. I just got an in game message saying there was an update released today, but I’m still not seeing the update. I’m hoping this update will fix these bugs, because this game really is fantastic! Almost the perfect gameIt really is almost a perfect game. If you don’t want to you never have to spend a dime. Of course, spending here and there helps like with every game on the market. And the paid workers that can be bought items from them can be bought on the marketplace for gold or gems, which you can earn for free. Their support is wonderful. Just a few days ago I switched my phone. Due to a somewhat bad user interface design I had to reach out to support because I thought I had lost my account. Mel was ready to jump into action and walked me through the steps of recovering an account I thought lost. In the end it was simpler than we both thought as I just had to click on link account to Game Center under settings after creating a new one and going through the tutorial. It saw that I already had a game a game center account and asked if I wanted to switch. Everything was back as I left it 2 days earlier. Great game, but it’s got its issues.Let me start by saying I’ve played this game for roughly six months, and been a gold member for 5; so obviously the games a lot of fun with a strong focus on money management. You’ll likely find yourself managing energy in order to surcharge(double the value) things in your shop, working the market to make as much money as possible, and working with your guild to raise investments and complete bounties. The big flaw with this game is it’s events... they simply feel like a cash grab, with the exception of the New Years event which gave a TON of diamonds. Events pop up every month or so, and they usually all cost 20 dollars giving you 4 customization items and 2 bundles; with the occasional giveaway and items to buy outside the event. These are vastly overpriced, especially when compared with the town building expansions(gun and wand shop) with similar price tags giving a perm buff, 500 diamonds, an entire weapon line, and I believe two customization options. One more minor complaint I had was the COVID event which promised giveaways... there was one that I can recall during it, and it wasn’t even related, giving a hat and turned all npc’s into Kabams..DardannosVersion: 3.7.0

Let’s be real..Okay…. Soooo I installed this game just to pass some time. However.. when I started playing, and unlocking more things I instantly became a tad addicted. There is just so much to do, so much things that make this game unique. There are a few things which is why I originally was going to give it 4, but I feel like the developers are actually working on a few things that I am hoping for. So yes you can use real money, and I can’t really complain too much about it because I have spent real money on this game. But you don’t need to. I just liked the idea of a few things so I bought them. But they give you gems on a regular. Like no it won’t be like 2,000 to upgrade a shop, but it will be enough to buy stuff you want. Another thing, I think it would be really cool to be able to go shopping at your guild mates shop. Or even having a friend system where it’s not just your guild. I do feel like that will come into play, so I’m not too worried about it, but if it isn’t I just think people would really enjoy it. And finally I feel like having the level requirements for certain things is a tad bit high. Like for the 7th expansion to your shop it’s like level 45 or something like that. I’ve been on level 31 for a couple days. So I feel like maybe lower them all by like 5 levels? I feel like that would be fair. Can’t stop playing this game (plus some ideas)I started playing shop titans about a week after it came out and I’m lvl 29 at the moment and it’s still a blast. Normally I stop playing mobile games by now but this one was different. It’s been great all the way through. I do have some ideas though. One being hourly trends? Customers are trending over a certain genre of items like daggers and they when they are sold during the hour you get a 20% bonus in money or something like that. Another being wallpapers and different flooring. Maybe there’s another section of customization in the edit mode for walls and flooring. Instead of a solid white wallpaper you could get a blue or red or black. Maybe get unique walls by using your gems to get animated wallpaper because everyone likes animated stuff. Same could go for the floor boards. Maybe get a different kind of flooring like fur or wood maybe just a solid color like green. I love this game and like the whole aspect of it. There is just one idea I thought of that would make selling easier. What if you could choose to specialize is certain items? Like if I wanted to specialize in weapons so more customers who wanted weapons would come in. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about medicine and other stuff. “Inactivity”Decent time killer. My nieces like to play it as well. Took off one star for having so many exclusive recipes cost real money. They’re not game breaking or needed to play, but it seems like every other day they throw another offer at me to pay to unlock some recipes, instead of just having a premium type shop for people to browse at their own leisure. Took off the second star because every time I play I get disconnected “due to inactivity” in the middle of crafting, sales, placing decorations, or during quests.... I also get disconnected from the server all the time and it brings me to the reconnect screen. It doesn’t take long to connect back in, but every time it does that my game isn’t synced to where I was when it disconnected me. In other words I lose progress each time by about 1-2 minutes. That may not sound like much at first. But when it happens multiple times within minutes of each other, I just end up closing the game and doing something else. Again, decent time killer. Great game hindered by money-hungry devsOverall I have really enjoyed my time with the game. A lot of gameplay can be done without waiting an absurd amount of time. And the premise is super cool. The graphics are awesome, and I’m still enjoying myself despite the second half of this review.... Wonderful! Really a 4.5Truly love the game! In the 10 years or so I’ve been playing mobile games, with all of the pay for play options I’ve tried, I’ve never seen one done so well! The general rule for pay to play games is to make your customers WANT to buy, not HAVE to buy. Most games fail miserably at that; Shop Titans is one of the absolute best I’ve come across so far. You can really play this game without buying anything. Does it take longer? Sure, but that’s understandable, again the idea is to make us want to buy, not have to. Great Game But...This game is great, very addicting, and I’ve been playing for over a year I love the character customization and the overall positivity in the game. The only flaw I see is the micro transactions. The prices for the workers and packs that are offered during events are a bit overpriced. The two workers (NPCs that help you craft items) that are locked behind micro transactions cost a total of 50 dollars alone. If you thought about buying gems (2$-100$) the two workers (50$) and one of the packs during an event (11$-15$) you’re looking at minimum 63$ just to assess all the content paying players have. Overall it’s a great game but if the prices were cut down to around half the original price a lot of players would be giving the chance to “compete” and be more self reliant. The market in game makes even Tier 1 items expensive so self reliability is a must if you want to succeed in the game. Yes and yes, but a few big no’sI love the concept. It’s surprisingly engaging. But like so many games these days, they’ve fine tuned the model to maximize their profits, and your reliance on making purchases rather than enjoyment. One example I s the equipment breaking effect. In principle, not a problem. But how is it that my armor, with a 8% chance of breaking has broken 3 times in the last two days, and other items with a higher chance have never broken? Perhaps because the armor costs half a million to repair, that is if you pay for the subscription. Otherwise you’ve got to pay cash for repairs with diamonds or repair kits. So you either pay cash, pay cash, or if you’ve already paid cash through a subscription you can pay in game cash. Fun fun fun! Again, I understand games have to have a risk factor. There has to be success vs failure, or it gets super bland. Payment & CrashI’ve had a lot of fun with this game. It’s unique, it’s clean, it’s not too cluttering or confusing. It sometimes logs me out for no reason though which doesn’t bother me, but others should be aware of that. I enjoy managing heroes and sending them on Quest, the time to wait for these quests are a little questionable considering the fight lasts only a couple seconds, I think it’s also strange you have to rest your heroes even if they don’t loose any health. I shouldn’t get forced to wait if my heroes won a battle with no repercussions, it’s like punishing me for being careful and prepared. I’ve also noticed how tedious it is to progress. I get it, there is limitations and balancing but when you stretch the time to make items to 4+ minutes but only give me the option to make 2 other items, that’s ridiculous. I also think during the quest system I shouldn’t get stuck behind a paywall to get the loot I won. I’m not going to pay 10 dollars to get the things I played the game fairly for. Wonderfully FunThere’s no heavy focus on p2p, and competition between people is limited to guilds. Outside the guild system there’s no friends-list, so if you’re in a full guild and a friend wants to play along with you it makes it a little difficult. But with the guild system is otherwise quite pleasant. The game itself does not have any requirements to keep you coming back. There’s no pressure to return like in most idle games. Starting off there’s not a lot of long wait times either. Towards the harder difficulty tiers in your blueprints, which I still haven’t yet reached, supposedly there are items that will take you an hour or two to make, but other than that it seems masterfully balanced. There are items that are locked behind events and paywalls, and for a completionist this will be frustrating. Long Loading ScreenJust downloaded the game yesterday. Really love the graphics. Was in the middle of the tutorial and got to the part where you go to the city to check on your Heros. In the tutorial, you can Rush the time so you can complete the task quicker; however, I, instead, tabbed out of the game to let the time pass normally. When I opened Stop Titans again, the game refreshed and prompted me to go to the City. From there, I’m met with the black loading screen and the white outline of the hammer and anvil. After 5 and eventually 10 minutes, the loading screen doesn’t change and the game seemingly continues to load. I tried closing out of the game and reopening it. Same issue. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (or course “reinstalling” just brings it back from the cloud), and I’m met with the same issue. Not sure if this (the long loading screen) is a bug, but it’s definitely something to look into, especially if it’s occurring during the early tutorial section. Item crafting is pretty easy to pick up on, and I really like the fact that your investments in community buildings follow you if you decide to leave your current guild. For The Developers!!The game is very addictive and there’s a lot to do as you level up. Leveling up is not an issue, and it’s fun crafting different items and doing quests. You can even have pets within the game! Also, no advertisements unless you wish to watch them. Obviously, as this game is on the new side, there are some gameplay issues. PLEASE read this if you’re a developer, as I truly believe addressing these issues will cause future reviews to be extremely positive as well. - You cannot train your Heroes. You can only send them on quests, which don’t get you as much quest loot when you have to do easier levels. There’s not much that’s affordable in any way, making it necessary for the player to spend money if they wish to decorate within the game. More decorating, please! Fun Game but expensive, Excellent Customer ServiceI love the game but there are a few things that keep me from giving it a solid five star. Like all pay to play games it can be frustrating with long wait times to finish quests and items unless you spend a LOT of money. Also, the fact that in order to get special characters you have to spend up to $30 per character is a bit much. I have PC/Console games that cost that much for the whole entire game. There is an option to pay $9.99 per month which I would consider using except that the special characters are not part of the monthly fee. You still have to spend extra to get them and their special items. With that said, I would totally give it a solid five star for their customer service. Customer services is EXCELLENT. Updated review: great improvementThe gameplay is fun and keeps me coming back to get those upgrades and progress. It’s still has several premium offers that are very expensive for what it offers. With the most recent update, it offers a much greater area of customization for your shop, to allow you to really make your shop yours. With that update, they added great looking cosmetics for purchase with gold you earn in game, to allow players who don’t spend money to customize their shelves and feel like their shop is coming along. Exceedingly AddictiveThere is tremendous depth to this game and the developers have mastered the art of transforming the free to play environment into pay to win with virtuosity. Content RestrictiveThe great thing about this game is, no ads. The community is good, and a decently quick climb up in ranks as you sell items in your shop and send teams of heroes on dungeon quests. The BIG downside is the event called Tower of Titans. The faster you grow, the tougher the tower becomes. So much so that unless your entire guild is pumping your town hall up rapidly, your heroes get to a point where you cannot even complete the first floor of the tower. The tower event has ranks, and it seems it is based on your avatars level and not your heroes and champion levels. If the event was selectable at the start so you can choose your tower, it would be so much more enjoyable. Hate the new event so much I’m leaving game.I was obsessed for 8 months and adored playing every day but the addition of the dragon event ruined it for me. Shop Titans - Merchant RPG Negative Reviews

Great, but...The game itself is great. It's almost an exact copy of Shop Heroes, but multiple aspects of the game are just done better in Shop Titans. However, a huge negative is the guild aspect. If you are like me and just have no interest in playing the 'social' aspect of a game, you are pretty much screwed. In Shop Heroes, with some grunt-work, you can play by yourself, but you can't in Shop Titans. The problem is the cost to invest in the buildings. Just like Shop Heroes, you have regular resource bins and specialty resource bins which come later on. Same in Shop Titans. But to get the specialty resource bins in Shop Titans, which are needed for the majority of your items, your resource buildings need to be level 7. The investment increase are huge and occur multiple times within a single building level. Anyway midway through level 5, the investments turns into 100,000 gold per single investment. At the stage, the items you can sell give you around 5,000 gold. 10,000 if you surcharge. That means you have to surcharge 10 items to invest one time in just one of these buildings, and that is just to get you to level 6 of the building. You still have another level after that before you can unlock specialty resource bins. It is sadly just not possible without a HUGE amount of time. I don't have that kind of time. It's a shame, the game is good and has some nice features. It just won't work if you enjoy playing solo..Disappointing123Version: 3.7.0

Good game plagued by horrible supportI played this game for 7 months. At the beginning of December I stopped receiving flashback/superior offers when purchasing the mega packs that are offered. At the time of writing this, my ticket for the Dec 1 superior pack has been open for 14 days. It took 7 days to get an initial response from support asking for a screenshot of me not receiving the offer. I sent it the same day. It took another 4 days for support to respond telling me to purchase an equivalent cost gem pack and they would add the items from the superior pack to my account “later”. It’s been 4 days since I purchased that gem offer and support has not responded nor given me the items that I have purchased. I purchased the latest mega pack thinking that it might be a one-time issue but that is not the case. I did not receive any flashback or superior offers again. During this saga of support failure, I’ve spent a lot of time in the bug-reports channel. I’m not the only one experiencing this issue and one individual has been experiencing this issue for the last 6 packs. That’s over 12 weeks of having this same failure of support! Things need to changeI’ve been playing this game since it came out years ago. I used to absolutely love it and I’ve spent a ton of real money on it. Unfortunately, the percentages at which things “fail” or “break” isn’t consistent with what is shown. Before any buffs, the fusions of legendary items is supposed to be 50% success rate. I’ve done many legendary fusions and documented them, and the rate is MUCH lower than that. The rate at which items break is supposed to be VERY low, with the higher quality being less likely to break, yet when I send my heroes out on quests, somehow the higher quality items are the ones breaking the most often? That’s not right. And unless you have Royal Merchant (the subscription service at $10/month that allows you to repair items for gold instead of diamonds), you’re out of items left and right OR you’re broke on diamonds. It’s near impossible to enjoy the game without Royal Merchant, as I don’t want to send my heroes on quests because I know their high-quality items will break. If I can’t send them on quests, I’m not gaining components or chests/keys. I can’t pay anymore money than I already have. Do not be fooledIt’s starts off good just like any game you play. No ads and no spending money. Then 1 by 1 an offer to purchase something will come your way until you start getting to the later levels. This game is heavily enforced pay to play on higher levels. Yes you don’t need any money to play the game but DO NOT expect to get anywhere. The customer service refused to do anything about an error on their part that allows the purchase of a Fourth slot with gems prior to an offer received for 5 dollars to get the fourth spot. So my gems were never returned and did not receive anything for it since it came with the package. Also the market is severely damaged. I made 13 mil in 4 days due to idiotic pricing and mismanaged sellers. Not to mention that their updates are not in real time for the marketplace. Don’t expect to buy something for a decent price because it shows only 1 seller. The second you buy it, it will increase and you are now stuck with the item. It’s all just glitchy buy and sell. Great game, but super buggy and slowLet me begin by saying that I’ve been playing this game for many months and love the concept. It is very fun and addictive! However, the game is ridiculously unstable and consumes way more system resources (like CPU) than it should. (As a software developer, I’m fairly certain this is due to poor/lazy coding, such as unnecessary nested looping without sleep delays, poor memory management, not testing on older/slower devices, etc.) I play on two older-model iPads (different models with different iOS versions) and it crashes continually on both! Equally frustrating is that every crash results in losing everything that has happened in at least the last 30 seconds or so, and having to do it all over again. Contacting support did not help. Their suggestions (such as restarting the device or uninstalling and reinstalling the game) were useless. Every update that is released seems to make the crashing get a little worse than before. In looking through the reviews, I see the crashing mentioned every 5-10 reviews! Why won’t they fix this? It’s so frustrating to love the game so much but for it to be practically unplayable due to slowness, crashing and constant disconnections. I really liked this game, but then…I really liked this game a lot. But then I noticed a charge that happened on a day I wasn’t playing and at I time I wasn’t even on my phone. I went to refund the charge and was approved. Then I received a 10 year ban from the in game market and -6500 gems. They told me the only way to get unbanned from the market was to spend $30 and then after that I would still be down the 6500 gems. In total I would need to spend over $100 because I had refunded a $30 pack. I realized that the charged pack I had refunded was something I meant to buy, it just came out at a later day and was called something different. When I reached out to in game support they said I was committing fraud and needed to pay the extra money still with no their way around it. Other people have said similar things have happened to them where they get double charged and then banned with a fine to get unbanned. Very shady game and company, I’ve never had an issues like this with any other game. Most games/companies will just let you re-pay what you owe. Too buggyUpdate: After playing for a year and actually paying real money I'm quitting. The bugs don't stop. Every release breaks things that were working great and it takes a month for them to fix anything. Some bugs like their atrocious chat bugs have been there for as long as I've played with no improvement. The company is solely focused on new content they can charge players for and invest as little as possible in testing or fixing issues. There are much better games out there. Despite the fact that the game is pay-to-play (don't believe them when they say it is F2P), it could be a good game except for two issues. First, inventory is far too constrained. I understand that managing inventory is part of the process but when they launched t12 content they should have allowed one more trunk to be purchased. Second, they don't do adequate testing before releasing new versions. Every release, literally every release comes with game breaking bugs. Often taking weeks for a patch to be rolled out, or they just wait until the next release. Was fun, until they changed how the town worksI has really enjoying the game and the fact I could progress at my own pace... then shortly after I started playing, they “revamped” the town building level system. they claimed this would make it cheaper... well thats mostly a lie! what used to take a few million gold to upgrade would now take something like 30 million gold for me to upgrade alone. if you don’t have an active guild that will contribute then you will quickly find yourself in a situation where you can’t afford to upgrade what you need upgraded and thus you can’t make the top level items you have unlocked because your craftsmen are level capped below the required level until those buildings are upgraded... I was quite happy with being able to play solo, even while being part of a guild, and they took that away from me. Problems with certain things...Although it has only been 2 hours, it crashed more than 20 times, lags frequently, when I gain progress(and yes, 2 hours playing the frickin tutorial) it immediately crashes and I restart. For the brief moments when nothing bad was happening, no lag and no crashing, it was good listening to the tutorial and though to you Developers it may seem ungrateful to criticise the game on only 2 hours of gameplay, I would have to remind you, I didn’t even get past the part where you open the chest. I can say that if there were less buggy/technical issues affecting the game and causing it to lag and crash, I may have given it a solid five, but since that isn’t going to happen due to the fact that when I saw ‘Critical Reviews’ the lag goes back to over a month ago. Never forget to pay againWith this game, you never need to worry about forgetting to make ‘micro’ purchases. The game makers have found creatively intrusive ways to remind you at about 10 minute intervals to spend $10-$20 at a time on in game purchases. Game play wise, it isn’t bad, but it is also incredibly shallow with no real depth to the game mechanics. This is not an afk game. If you are not actively playing it, your shop makes no progress. This was a smart move on the part of the game designers because you need to be watching when characters come into your shop to prompt you to make micro purchases. All and all, I might recommend this game if it weren’t for the annoyingly aggressive way in which they chose to monetize it. Horrible Public RelationsThe game Shop Titans is a fantastic one. It’s a game I was proud to play when I did, and still miss it long after I’ve deleted it. They market packages, add-ons and subscriptions in a ways that should be criminal. When a customer feels swindled by the masterful con artists the suddenly find themselves subjected to an abrasive customer service that isn’t even a tiny bit interested in helping them out. Most if not all requests are met with bot or macro replies. You have departments telling you that you contacted the wrong department. You have escalation reps who only reinforce the horrible policy’s and procedures for dealing with the public. At no point do they ever actually try to help or offer feedback that would even suggest helpfulness. Players are forever banned from the game if they force a refund through Google or ITunes after being bullied by the CSRs. They will also chat ban players for merely being sarcastic let alone actually vulgar. They will have their CSRs play the game pretending to be regular players to weed out players that would say they would exploit... then ban them after strong arming them into that conversation. If a player makes jokes about their company, or bring to light how bad this customer service is on their discord, they will move to ban such players from their discord. As someone who used to spend about $200 a month on the game, I can say that I miss the game but not the joke of a team who govern it. I would return to the game pending unfair bans being overturned and an apology for being unfairly banned from studios discord channels. Worst CS/greediest pigs EVER.The games development and updates are ridiculous. Basically if you’re above a certain level eventually an update will come and make it impossible for you to participate in events unless you spend an absolute fortune in a short period of time to adjust your characters so they can actually participate. What’s even stupider is as a new player, since you know in advance, you can prevent levels in order to farm/abuse a badly designed system. Basically the game punished long term medium networth players, and made game easy to abuse in order to excel for free by not leveling. You have 100% control over your level. So if you leveled past a certain point new update with new difficulty releases made it impossible for you to continue to finish the event without paying cash items. And don’t get me started on CS. CS runs the games official discord and fb, and tends to not show the proper respect to its paying customers. Absolutely unacceptable. CS should not be socializing with players nor showing preference to players. Insanely unprofessional. They talk down to players frequently and act like they’re running a daycare. And don’t get me started on the monthly subscription. When it was first launched it promised aesthetic items after a certain period of time. After 12 months you got to wear a wand. So 1500$ later to unlock the wand if you cancel your subscription you don’t get to keep it unless you renew for another 15$ a month.
