The one thing I absolutely DESPISE when it comes to these gamesI love the stories, and your chance to customize your characters, I just hate, hate, hate how you have to use gems to get to the juicy parts of the story... the only way to get gems is to pay... yeah, no way. There is no way the majority of the people would want to pay for the gems in the game. No way many people would want to spend real life money, on something that is not real, like a video game. I think the better thing to do would be to do this... If your talking to someone, and you answered right, or made them feel good, you get something like a gem, or a heart, it would be easy to get and free. PLEASE READ, VERY IMPORTANT!Ok, a LOT of people are saying that this game is a copy of Episode, but they are just idiots because it’s made by the same creator who made episode! I think this was supposed to be a sample of episode because it has some of episode’s stories in it, so if you liked playing the sample stories you’ll get episode. Please fix the mistakes!I love this game but I hate that everything is about diamonds, diamonds, diamonds like please just remove the oh you got to buy diamonds. Used to be betterI’ve played Episode for years and have broken down and put quite a bit of money into it to get premium choices. I found this game a while ago and absolutely loved the fact that there were no gems needed to play the premium options. You could only play a story once through, but I thought it was worth it since the choices were free. Recently, they have now started making you pay for your premium choices. I’m disappointed because that was the whole reason I downloaded it. Many of the stories are the same as on the Episode app and really the only major difference between them was that this had free choices. I don’t see the point in having this app if you already have Episode. They have many more stories available for you to read. Maybe if the creators made the choices free again, I would feel better about giving it a higher rating, but as it is now, I would suggest you just go download Episode instead..AlysseM22Version: 6.80
Why put a sample of Episode behind a paywall?The funny thing about the switch to the diamond/pass model is that it actually killed my interest in all things episode. Being able to play the stories on here straight through with no major interruptions or roadblocks actually reminded me why I really started to get into Episode in the first place. The game was awesomeI loved this game when I first got it because I didn’t have to spend so much money like I used to with the main game; episode, and I was so into this one story I read it almost everyday unlike episode in which I would read like a chapter once a month…maybe. You ruined the once (almost) perfect experience.I mean exactly what the title says. This game was once (almost) perfect. I played this game before the developers added a price tag to every choice. If you’ve played Episode then you’ll recognize all these stories. There are many similarities between this app and Episode and not so many differences. Well, at least that’s what I thought.
You see this app had something special that Episode didn’t have. This app gave players the ability to select premium choices for FREE. That’s right, no gems, no price tags, no spending. If you’re someone like me who always wanted to play the Episode created stories but had no gems to spend, this app was the definition of paradise. You weren’t confined to tickets or gems. However, things didn’t stay this way.
If you download this app now, everything I spoke of before has now been deleted. Now you have the ticket system, the paywalls, the price tags, and the gems. This app wasn’t supposed to be something we could enjoy for free; it was supposed to be another cash-grab, aka the second Episode.
Overall with the new changes added to this app, it deserves 0 stars. The app is lucky we can’t go lower than one, but I wouldn’t hesitate to give it 0 stars. This app is now just a blatant cash-grab. Do not download this app unless you really want to read this terrible stories.

RuinedI originally would have given this app 5 stars. The stories are often cliche and poorly written, as most episode originals are, but this app saved itself by steering away from gems and passes. I found myself actually wanting to read the stories for the first time, something I certainly would never have done on the Episode app itself. Unfortunately, the new update brought the gem and pass features to the app. This makes me wonder why they created this app at all when they already have all these stories on another app. Ultimately, it just makes this feel like a poor attempt at a cash grab. I wish they would shift to watching ads before episodes and/or gem choices or SOMETHING other than this. Those two features, gems and passes, are enough to ruin any game.
