Jesus Christ calls us to live an uncommon freedom so that we might become who we truly are.

Do you want to see change in the Church and world? Rather than standing by and waiting around for things to happen, we need to begin the work of renewal in our own lives. There is no greater contribution we can make than to cultivate our own personal holiness by living a life of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Stepping into a more serious life of prayer and sacrifice marks an important step in becoming the change we want to see.

Exodus exists to support men like you in becoming uncommonly free to become the renewal.

Each one of us has Pharaohs we serve and Idols we worship, which stand in our way and keep us from becoming who we are.

But, as St. Paul writes in his letter to the Galatians, "For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery."

A Christian vision of freedom is very different from that of the world. It's not about doing whatever we want, whenever we want, with whomever we want. No, Christian freedom is for love. A free man takes up his life, and he lays it down for those he loves, as Jesus shows us on the Cross. A free man is a man for others.

Through these forty days of spiritual exercises, you will become more of who you are, a son of God who has been called forth by the Father to experience his love and to give that love to others.

Exodus 90 - Live Different App Comments & Reviews

Exodus 90 - Live Different Positive Reviews

Worth it but needs some improvementApp is great, program at its core is great. I would recommend this program to any catholic looking to deepen their faith and ultimately change their life. It is hard but sometimes we need things to be hard. However, my biggest issue is the Fraternity aspect and how it relates to the family. Every fraternity isn’t the same and sometimes Parish’s that do it with multiple groups will randomize the fraternity members. This does make sense in the way that you’d be grouped with people you wouldn’t normally get to know. However, in our case, it was 3 young married men w/toddlers, one single, and 3 older men with kids out of the house or in college. Sometimes groups value different things and with the new idea (meaning I don’t see it in the 2017 exodus book from when I first did the program) that the fraternity relaxes a discipline together I think it simply doesn’t work. It caused some strife in our group because everyone is in a different season and everyone’s family is different and has different needs and celebrates the sabbath differently. I think a cool idea would be to include with the fraternity relaxed discipline would be to allow the family or the wife to choose one discipline for the exodus man to relax on Sunday. In addition to the fraternity one. The exodus man is still not in control plus if your family celebrates the sabbath a certain way, you are free to do so..Version: 1.0.3

It’s worth it. Your life deserves it.I would assume many people turn away or “head back to Egypt” when it’s time to pay. I also considered not paying. I compared to how much I used to spend alone on junk food and sports memorabilia that I realized that a dollar a day is close to nothing. I thank God for the people who created this program. I feel like we are indeed being programmed but that’s what sports do to us, they program u to watch on a weekly basis but if u are like me on a daily basis. Many of the disciplines are tough to do but I try my best to keep them because I know God loves that we make an effort and receive at least that inner peace in exchange. The cold showers were tough but I have noticed I’m getting used to it. I learned to pray! I used to think that the rosary was one of the only forms of prayer. I would say I can’t talk to God I’m a sinner, I feel bad even approaching. Now I’ve been talking to God everyday. Saying what’s on my mind and heart, if I’m not begging the Lord for sure I’m thanking Him for the many blessings. If u think u want to do this that is God calling, it’s a retreat that u don’t have to leave the house and your body and spirit get a great deal of exercise. You definitely will grow. I invited 12 people, only one person joined me and I was prepared to do it alone but it was just another testimony that God provides. It’s a challenge, I know many men enjoy challenges. I’m on day 19 and have felt the rewards. Peace.Version: 1.0.3

My Best SelfIt seems counterintuitive, but living without all these human comforts actually opens me up to others and gives me incredible joy. I couldn’t believe how much time I actually have in a day when I’m not wasting it watching TV. It’s not easy, but it’s well worth the effort and time. Also, starting every morning with a holy hour and ending with an Examen has brought me closer to the Lord than I’ve ever been. It’s changed the way I think and feel about people throughout the day in an enormous way. I actually notice a big difference in myself when I don’t pray in a day. God’s grace is REAL and very potent. I’ve grown deeper in my relationship with Christ through this spiritual exercise and have reaped the fruits of his love for me. This is my second time doing it. The last time after day 91, I noticed that as much as I tried to keep the disciplines I tapered off from them over time. I recommend doing this 90 day cleanse at least once a year. I might even start doing it for Lent and Advent ever year. It’s a great way to prepare yourself to receive the Lord on great feast days! This way you “move the needle” a bit each time you do it until you’ve molded your life around Jesus permanently. Keeping the fraternity is a good idea too, but I feel like that’s easier said than done. I guess I’ll find out soon. God bless!.Version: 1.0.3

Day 45 and more aliveCutting out the distractions in my life and focusing that time on my family and the lord have been amazing. I have more energy and feel a sense of calm and peace in work and home situations that used to get me angry. I’m getting projects done around the house and improving my own health. I’m Down 20 lbs and feeling great. Eating good foods, fasting and no sugary drinks and snacks has been a huge blessing. Sadly I couldn’t find a fraternity to join or convince others to join my journey, but I’ve been checking in on a few friends who support me and that in itself has me feeling more connected. My wife may even join me for the last 40 days as she’s been watching the news too much and getting stressing about things. She’s seen how it’s transformed me and is overjoyed. I probably sound like I’m exaggerating — and I’m a little surprised myself, but life seems easier and more full, Vs hours on Facebook or Netflix always feeling tired and empty. I feel like I am treating people better and helping spread joy all while spending my valuable time on earth in a more useful way. “Be not afraid” & “Here I am lord”. Two of my favorite hymns and great words to live by. Peace and love. Matt.Version: 3.7.0

Fraternity of menBack in December 2019 five of us took on the Exodus 90 day challenge. With every cold shower, every missed televised sporting event, every soon forgotten candy bar and alcoholic drink our prayer life and our weekly fraternity meeting filled the holes/wounds that seperated from our full potential as men, fathers and husbands slowly healed. At the end of the 90 days those things that caused us each individually such spiritual and personal strife were still there waiting to pat us on the back and welcome us back. So we agreed to continue on with Exodus 91. Although the cold showers have not returned many various other challenges in forms of acseticisms and prayerful commitments to our Lord continue to strengthen our fraternity bonds and bless our families nearly 2 years later. As I prepare to enter year three I know that I speak for my fraternity brothers along with a lifelong friend who was and still is my anchor man since day one and has agreed to be there with me in year three is to pick up your crosses and strive to be the man that you were called to be through prayer and asceticism in Exodus 90. You have nothing to lose and your friends, family and community have everything to gain..Version: 1.0.3

Intuitive UI, Clean Design, Incredibly UsefulHaving been through Exodus 90 once before with the book, I was highly skeptical about using an app this time around. To my surprise, the app was not only more convenient than the book but it truly helped our fraternity stay more accountable throughout the spiritual exercise—and in turn, made the entire experience more fruitful. I love how the app simplifies every part of the journey—communication/accountability with the fraternity, daily readings and meditations, and notes for personal reflection. And as someone who works in marketing for a living I’m quite picky (read highly critical) about UI, aesthetic design, and functionality of apps. I can’t believe how intuitive and clean this app is; especially for a small nonprofit. It’s truly incredible what the Exodus 90 team has created and I can’t wait for additional features to be released! Beyond the app, the journey through Exodus 90 has truly been life changing. It’s been years since I’ve had a fraternity like my Exodus group and I owe my thanks to this organization..Version: 1.0.2

Content is great, but it’s buggy and flawedI’ve been surprisingly impressed with the content and the program so far. I’m 22 days in. The design/fonts/layout is very well done. But sometimes the app just won’t open, which can be frustrating when you’re on a tight schedule for your holy hour. (I’m a lawyer with five kids.) I’ll text my group, and they will experience the same problem of the app just not opening. Another criticism: the disciplines work like streaks that you check off upon completion, which is great. But the streaks get reset back to zero, not if you forget to do one, but if you forget to check it off that day. If your trying to stay off your phone, it’s frustrating to have remember to pick it up and check off your disciplines at the end of the day. So that part of the app became useless the first week because I couldn’t check off disciplines for the previous day. It would be more motivating to look at your contiguous days of disciplines, but you’ll need a paper habit tracker for that. For $10 a month, you expect more. If I did it again, I’d by the book. I’ll definitely cancel after completing 90 days. Nevertheless, I do recommend the program, but not the app..Version: 3.4.0

Very decent App with good UI and functionalityOverall a very solid app. This is my second time though Ex90 and have discovered a few things that you could consider for future improvement: 1) Consider adding an “email” option or text for each person. Similar to Flocknote. We had one guy that only communicated by email vs text. Also, although unprecedented, have the ability to do group calls maybe? 2) The overall “How are you” thumbs up, neutral or down is great. One other thing to really hold accountability would be to have a simple Habit Tracker type interface for each discipline. I’ve notice when weekly mtgs come around men forget how well or not they really did with various disciplines. Also something I would use regularly after Ex90. 3) I’m not sure why, but both of my Ex90 the guys have suggested using different texting apps; one just the iPhone messaging, and the other was telegram. Not sure why, but something to look into..Version: 1.0.3

It’s a great program but needs to be on paperThe spiritual value of the program and the depth of the content is undeniable. The life of prayer, fraternity and asceticism it promotes has brought great changes in my life and I continue to use it with my fraternity. The app has also been improving over the years. The only problem I have is that one of my main obstacles to vanquish is reducing my screen time. The first round of E90 has a book in print for that. But none of the program is available in print after that. As a result I spend screen time when I’m praying which is distracting to me or others when I’m at church, or even worse, shines screen light on my eyes at home at times when I’m trying to wind down. Sometimes the screen time spent reading the app at bedtime is enough for keeping me awake all night. And here I am, being asked to write a review for the App Store when I’m supposed to be praying. I’ve contacted the E90 team suggesting this program needs to be on paper, but to no avail. Still, I admire and thank them and pray for them for their amazing and transforming work..Version: 3.0.1

It really does help free youExcellent program. Highly recommend to anyone seeking to grow closer to God and be a better man, husband, or father. I’ve been attached to many things that have distracted me from growing closer to God. I’m about 45 days into Exodus 90, and my spiritual life, family life, and personal joy and peace are much better and more consistent than before Exodus 90. Well worth the $10/month ($30 total) and pays for itself with the money you won’t spend because you’re being disciplined in not making unnecessary purchases, not eating between meals, not drinking alcohol, etc. — all of which have helped free me from things I didn’t even realize I was attached to/dependent upon. Love it. My wife has said she even wants to do a similar program after seeing what it’s doing for me. Thank you James, Nathaniel, and all at Exodus 90! Men need this and so do their families!.Version: 1.0.3

GOD only calls his own“The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice, as he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has driven out all his own, he walks ahead of them, and the sheep follow him, because they recognize his voice. But they will not follow a stranger; they will run away from him, because they do not recognize the voice of strangers.” JOHN 10:3-5 If you’re here considering this spiritual exercise then recognize that GOD is the one calling you. So if today you hear his voice harden not your heart and commit to following him where he leads you. If you do, then it will start changing your life in ways you cannot imagine. I don’t expect to “return to Egypt” after this (my first time in the Exodus 90 journey - 2021) and can see myself in the Exodus 90 program indefinitely. Peace be with you on your own journey in whatever you decide..Version: 1.0.3

Well worth it.As a Christian Catholic or a Catholic Christian, however you want to say it...I can say that Exodus 90 has been WELL worth it. It has been difficult, me and my fraternity have not been “perfect” at the disciplines but we have grown closer to God and to each other. There is something magical about a group of men invested in their relationship with God in a way that puts every day to the test. Doing Exodus 90 has taught me about discipline, the strength God provides us all, the power of grace, and the hope of freedom from being a slave to all the little pleasure bursts we don’t even know we are relying on outside of our Lord. Highly recommend. I will be doing E90 every January every year now as a way to renew my hope and love for and in Jesus. Thank you for making this program. I am blessed to have participated..Version: 1.0.3

Developing FraternityOne of the participants in a regular parish meeting of the Catholic Men’s Fellowship recommenced Exodus to me and I am glad that I did the exercise. I am one of the founders of the Catholic Men’s Fellowship and I have been to a group meeting over Saturday morning for the past 35 years, finding spiritual grown in every one of them. In the meetings I find strength in the sharing which is a source of actual grace to me personally. As a result I was not looking for Fraternity in Exodus but I did find Prayer and Asceticism to be very valuable. It is not that prayer and self- sacrifice are not taught in the fellowship but Exodus makes them concrete and accountable through interaction on the Internet. I regularly recommend Exodus to my fellowship groups as an individual program. Fraternity is an integral component of the spiritual exercise and agree that it should be, I but did not have success with the ad hoc group that I formed - the affinity did not develop as it has in CMF parish setting..Version: 1.0.3

Exodus 90: Focused FormationOn the whole., I enjoyed using the Exodus app for Exodus 90. As I told my wife, “This program helped me live the life I have wanted to live for some time, but did not have the focus to pursue.” I think many men will value the ability to track one’s progress with the various disciplines, as well as benefit from the reflections specific to Exodus 90. I do have the following recommendations. -I did not appreciate the truncation of specific passages of scripture. For example, in Covenant Crag (Day 23), the passage is Genesis 16:1-12, but the only verses provided are Gn. 16:1-7 and 11-12. I think many would benefit from reading the entirety of the passage. -Some of the reflections (in Reflection Oasis and Covenant Crag) seemed “forced;” that is, focused on one word or image from the passage of scripture that seems to miss the point of the passage of force a point of view on the passage itself. -I think there should be a few more disciplines relating to one’s fraternity. During Exodus 90, my fraternity noticed that there are robust prayerful and ascetic disciplines, but only two disciplines associated with one’s fraternity. On the whole, I am very thankful for this app, the creators, and all those who participate and pray for each other during their Exodus. I am eager to go on my second Exodus, and beyond..Version: 1.0.3

Every man should do Exodus 90This should be a mandatory right of passage for every man. To learn and experience the essential truths of sacrifice and mortification, the absolute necessity of quiet prayer, and daily meditation on scripture is invaluable. Learn to be a real man in preparing yourself for laying down your life for your wife and family (or parish, mission, or future family depending on your vocation). Understand your attachment to comfort seeking and selfish behavior that distracts you from the love God wants to shower you with. See you personal journey in light of the experience of the Israelites in Egypt and the freedom God is offering you. You will not regret it; well you won’t if you put your whole heart into it and are faithful to it. Isn’t that true of almost any worthwhile effort in this life, though?.Version: 3.4.0

Freedom and formationI have completed 2 Exodus 90 programs and have enjoyed the fruits of 2 years of formation through the Biblical series. I was tempted to buy the physical book during the initial 90 days and skip the online content but am glad I did not. Pairing the content of the program with the gospel of the day, laying out the program on a calendar, writing journal entries, and the ongoing formation has been a consistent and invaluable part of my journey these past 2 years. I like the change of format to the Biblical series as well as the new Advent program. I am looking forward to the Lenten program and the new second set of reflections through Exodus. Formation, asceticism, and fraternity to let God lead me towards my “why.” Thanks guys, and God bless!.Version: 3.0.1

Just do itExodus has been a pivotal experience in my life and I’d recommend it to any Catholic man. You honestly don’t realize how much you need to do it until you do it. And if you’re considering it but are making excuses about why it’s impossible for you because of whatever special reason - that’s probably a signal that you just need to knuckle down and do it. Trust me. (I guess this is meant to be a review of the app itself... it’s fine, does the job, looks OK without being flashy. One minor thing is that I wish they’d fix the display of the swipe bar at the bottom of the screen on Face ID phones. It sometimes creates a big white block at the bottom of the app which drives me crazy. Needless to say you should not take this as an excuse to not do Exodus.).Version: 1.0.3

Rating bug -FIXEDThis was my original review, but the devs responded quickly and professionally. I’ve adjusted my rating accordingly. [Original Review] So originally my review was much higher, but now every time I use the app, the notification asking me to rate it pops up. Even after I rated it. It’s been ruining the experience as I can’t get 5-10 minutes in of using the app for reading or messaging my group without the notification popping up. It’s a serious turn off. As far as the Exodus 90 program itself is concerned. It’s great. First year I did it without the app. Definitely a worthy endeavor for every man to undertake. My 1 star review is based on this really annoying bug. I’ll update if fixed..Version: 3.0.1

Exodus 90 Is What the Church NeedsFew follow this program to the letter because it is so demanding. When one comes to the humble realization of how little one is willing to do for a God who died for each of us, Exodus 90 has done its job. It will also set one’s mind to the task of appearing before God with all of one’s concerns, worries, and wishes and allowing him to share his with us. (I know there’s theology to be quibbled about there, but let that go for the moment). It is a transformative program. The app would probably get a harsher review if it was just software. But it is more than that. It is an adjunct to a program that can change individual men and so change the Church by orienting then to the call to virtue and to the Christ who died to make that calling answerable..Version: 1.0.3

Be the Man You Are Called To BeI highly, highly recommend this app and this way of life. I brought together some men in the parish three years ago, men who did not know each other before that. We experienced Exodus 90 together, and have been working our way through Day 91 exercises ever since. We have become a very tight knit group of men and have experienced a deeper level of community and a closer relationship with Christ. Exodus has become a way of life for us. We have systematically read through the Scriptures. The reflections are excellent, and the daily Gospel reflections are also outstanding. Get a group of men together, get this app, and prepare for your life to change. Be the man God is calling you to be..Version: 1.0.3

Just what I neededI’ve always been confident that I was doing an “ok” job of being a good Catholic husband and father. I was “meeting the requirements “ but also subjecting myself to compromised morals through television and media. I was comfortable but I was longing to be better. When my brother mentioned Exodus 90 to me, it was an immediate “yes”. He didn’t even tell me the details. I found out later. Prior to my Exodus 90 journey, It’s been a long time since I’ve had a good 40 day Lenten experience. As rigorous as I thought the disciplines do Exodus 90 would be, I actually was very refreshing for me. I’m on the third exercise now, Covenant Crag. I’m enjoying the readings and reflections and look forward to our weekly meetings..Version: 1.0.3

StGoing…Our fraternity started in January 2019. We still meet weekly and have pursued the additional peaks and climbs offered through Exodus. This exercise has helped us all grow spiritually and is having a powerful positive impact on our whole parish. Can’t recommend it highly enough! 2023-day 77: Working through our 5th Exodus. A much different, deeper journey. One brother, overwhelmed by work stress, actually found a spiritual breakthrough when he had to stay home with sick kids and realized that God was showing him, in the messy cleaning up after them, his true worth in his vocation as father. Thank you for all you brothers do for us. Blessings and Easter joy to you…soon and very soon!.Version: 3.4.0

Bugs and glitchesHey guys, I’d like to start by saying how helpful and insightful this app has been for my exodus preparation and journey. This is my first time doing Exodus 90, and I wm beyond excited. The reason I’m writing this review is because the app itself is very glitchy on my iPhone 11. When I try to click on different headings and things within the app, they often do not load at all and I am having to reset the app multiple times in order to combat this problem. For example, when I try and click on my my prayer section or discipline section, I have to try multiple times and reset the app multiple times before it will even open that section. Thank you all so much for your hard work developing this app, and I hope my feedback helps..Version: 1.0.3

Outstanding program to become littlerExodus 90 is an effective program that helps us face our sins, trust in the Lord, and start living a sacrificial life for others. The intent is to become little as in the little way of trust and love of St Therese. It is the way of St John the Baptist of “He must increase, and I must decrease.” It is intense, and it can be hard. But we are called to do hard things - to take up our cross and to be perfect as the Heavenly Father is perfect. We are made strong in our weakness through the Lord and His grace. I’ve done Exodus 90 twice and also the Advent and Lenten programs. The app is a helpful way to track your commitments and a wealth of directed spiritual reading for your journey. Peace & Godspeed!.Version: 3.4.0

There’s a trial periodIf you have landed here from a shared link in a text, you should know that this free download will initiate a trial period. After the trial, you will be charged a monthly subscription fee to continue using the app. The Exodus 90 home page is clear about the trial and what the subscription charges will be. The shared text link point of entry doesn’t contain the same messaging and may come as an unpleasant surprise just as you’re getting into a groove. DO NOT let the monthly charge scare you away. This app is worth the subscription and is an invaluable tool to help you stay on track and keep you connected to your fraternity! Now, onward to sainthood..Version: 3.0.1

Rating the app, not the programYou can read about the program elsewhere. It’s very helpful, but it depends greatly on the commitment of your fraternity, especially your “anchor” buddy. This is not something you can do alone. The app works very well for enabling all aspects of the program. Most content is easily found in only a couple clicks. The formation packs add additional brief content and reflections to the daily readings. The discipline tracker builds a habit of honest self-assessment, and because it clears every day, every day you get a clean slate. (It is possible to go back to “fix” a previous day, but it’s unnecessary.) A couple gripes: notifications disappear once you click on them, and there is no way to remove a “pending invite.”.Version: 3.4.0

Great program, pretty good appExodus truly helps free you from what is tying you down, it allows you to see what life should be. The app is pretty good. It allows you to chat with the group, read the reflections, and see what you need for exodus. The chat is a little buggy, you can’t share images well and can’t click on them to pull them up, and sometimes it gives you trouble navigating between things. Overall it does it’s job, but wish it was a little smoother, but maybe that’s just one more thing to offer up. Would definitely recommend using so you can keep in contact with your group. Excited to see what the future exercises are going to unveil.Version: 1.0.3

Little buggy, but nice layout and good experienceThe app is a little bit buggy at times. For example, it will send you a notification for receiving a message but then when you go to check sometime the message isn’t there and you have to wait a while. Also, I wish there was a way to enlarge images similar to iMessage in the fraternity chat. Other than that, the app has a really clean and easy to navigate layout. As far as the actual exercise, I highly recommend. I can already tell I will be a different person at the end of this with new good habits and without some of my old bad habits. It’s day 54 at the time of writing this review. Only 36 more days to go!.Version: 3.4.0

Good but used to be betterAs a long time user of the app I see progress in some areas and problems in others. I am always frustrated with developers that take away capabilities within an app. It’s okay to add new features but why remove existing capabilities? I used to be able to manage my fraternity easily, now I cannot remove people that are no longer in and have moved away! Seems like “the thing” to do is constantly change for the sake of change, instead of keeping things simple and practical. Sort of defeats the purpose as I have to completely relearn how to use the app every year! On the good side they now offer new reflections that are different from the original ones and that has been a pleasant experience..Version: 3.0.1

1 year inI started my Exodus 90 journey in Jan 2020. The exercise was challenging but extremely meaningful and helpful (even in the time of COVID). Most importantly, The exercise taught me how to make time to pray (real time, at least an hour a day) by giving up (and now limiting) frivolous activities. Mine is watching TV, what’s yours? I have continued on with the post Exodus 90, Day 91 exercises for the last year and have found it the most applicable/meaningful Bible study I’ve done(15 min/day which kicks off my holy hour with God). Working my way through the Bible’s salvation history. 🙂 Reflections are extremely helpful. Well worth my 33 cents per day. However, first month is free so give it a try and decide for yourself. God bless you fellas!.Version: 1.0.3

BE SET FREE5 Stars for the app - super helpful, amazing way to stay connected to your brothers during the journey without having to resort to texting! And 5 Stars for Exodus 90 - if you need a supercharge in your walk with Christ, you don’t need any massive changes. Creating space in your life by sacrificing what is less important than Him, your family, your marriage, etc., is one of the greatest gifts. The Lord has blessed this ministry - please know that so many Exodus men before you have been praying for you and still are! P.S. it took me 78 days before I really started to see what the Lord was doing. Stick with it and He will not disappoint. Nothing is wasted on God..Version: 1.0.3

Learning about myselfI am in the midst of Exodus 90. I appreciate a lot of things about the program. For starters, the app offers a very complete, one-stop place for everything you need for guidance, reflection, Scripture readings, communication with Exodus 90 companions, reminders, and a very cut-and-dry method for checking boxes as the day goes on. Someone put a lot of time and effort into how seamless the app transfers to daily living, which is was apps are designed to do. One thing that I found that seems counter-intuitive is that a complete and very potentially fruitful asceticism program almost requires an app to follow it. I have no suggestions on how to remedy this criticism, so therefore I hold nothing against the Exodus 90 team in this regard. Great app, well done, and thank you!.Version: 1.0.3

PowerfulI am just over 30 days into the Exodus 90 journey. It is incredibly difficult, but also incredibly challenging, rewarding, and transforming. On this journey, we travel right alongside Moses and Aaron, as they confront Pharaoh and the false gods of Egypt. It’s designed to reveal to us our own false gods, and to lead us to freedom in Christ. It’s brilliant, and anointed of God. As a protestant, I struggle with some of the language that is used in the devotionals. In it’s inception, it was clearly written by Catholics, for Catholics. It’s surprising to me that the authors have not made any apparent effort to make this excellent devotional tool more ecumenical. That would be my only critique, and my only reason for not giving it five stars. That being said, I’m thankful for the Exodus 90 journey, for this app, for the people who wrote it, and for the good men that God has put in my life to partner with me through it. Suggestions for future revisions: -allow the reader to go back and read previous devotions. -use a more modern translation of the Bible. -revise the devotions to connect more effectively with Protestants and Catholics. -a one time fee of $10, rather than $10 a month..Version: 1.0.3

New ExperimentIt’s a good app. First and foremost. To be honest, I was not a fan of Exodus going in this technological direction, but that said - for what it’s worth - the app takes care of its subscribers. Messaging - check. Reflections - check. It even allows you to rate your day and let your brothers see your rating. That helped me help my brothers more than once. But the best part (I hope) is what’s yet to come. The possibility of including day 91 info to help a fraternity after they complete exodus, in my mind, has been a need since the beginning. With this app TCM promises to provide those resources. My review may be subject to change once they release new info, but for now color me grateful..Version: 1.0.2

The Journey is life changing!I’d heard of exodus before and even tried my hand at some of its disciplines during lent and dropped them pretty soon after, but this year I tried to do the full program, the full exodus as it was designed to be lived and the experience has indeed been life changing. The Prayer drives it all and the reflections on exodus and the daily gospels help drive home the fact that you are on a journey to freedom and you need to be freed. The journey is a blessing (though not an easy one by a long shot) and the app is very well designed to help you with that experience. It’s worth it. God bless on your journey..Version: 3.4.0

Great! This app is great! My fraternity and I had a bit of a hard time understanding the framework with so many tabs and info but if you take the time to understand it is very helpful. Another thing to be cognizant of is that this is not a free application after the 1st week. If you are leading a group, it’s important to state it will cost a small fee for participating since it is not explicitly stated in the beginning. I opted for the monthly subscription and gave the others the option to reach out of they needed the readings or to download at their own discretion. Other than that, gaining a lot of value from the app!.Version: 3.4.0

Critical for modern men’s renewal of faith ownershipFirst year following the exercise, results have been tremendous for myself and our fraternity. Especially in the current times we find ourselves, God prepared us ahead of time on a way that was so providential I’m at a loss for words. Truly a blessing to have Him utilize fraternity to call men back to owners of their faith and leaders in their families. Highly recommend for any man looking for more in their walk of sonship with the Father. Thank you to the directors/co-creators/contributors for responding to God’s call on your hearts to put something like this together, and having the courage to “put it out there” and see how He will use your “yes” to call men back to him..Version: 1.0.3

Dig DeepWhat at first seems intimidating, and perhaps unattainable, as you stick to it you begin to realize that not only is it possible, but you begin unlearning a lot of bad habits and there’s where the light goes off - “How can I make better use of my time.” To me therein lies the true treasure of the program. I’ve found myself dedicating more time to what I’ve known is far more important, catering to my wife, spending individual time with my kids, and most importantly, staying in prayer with my Lord throughout the day. That said, I see the importance of finding a consistent group of men to walk this journey with. Fraternity helps you most of all through accountability..Version: 1.0.3

Change your life, change your habits.90 days of intense exercise of prayer, asceticisms and fraternity will put you on the path of a new and deeper relationship with the Lord. Yes it takes 90 days of this exercise to make a difference. To Change your life requires one to change your habits. A commitment to Exodus 90 does that. Yes it takes 90 days and you will make a difference. My fraternity continues to meet in the follow up of Exodus day 91 and have been doing so for over a year now. We are growing stronger as a fraternity if men. If you are looking for a way to grow more deeply in your relationship with the Lord, Exodus 90 is for you..Version: 1.0.3

Exodus 90I have been in the Church for 20 + years .. I when through RCIA as an adult coming from An evangelical background.. I am assisting in RCIA now as a lay person .. On of the Sponsors suggested Exodus.. I had heard of it but certainly not familiar .. High recommendation on my part .. Anything more I could say would be a distraction.. We are all looking forward to walking this path again.. Update .. currently on 4 th trip .. If we agree that we are truly converting every single day as part of a continuous process; Clearly we should be breaking free from any slavery that separates from our true King ...Version: 3.4.0

Take the first step in being a better man today!I first heard of the Exodus 90 program from a podcast I listen to called “The Catholic Man Show.” I figured I would download the app and check it out for myself and 30 days later it was the best decision I could have made. The exodus program has deepened my faith and really challenged me to be the best version of myself for my wife and family. If any of you are curious or are having thoughts about downloading the app then take my word for it and do it! I promise you will not regret it..Version: 3.4.0

Not for every Christian manI wanted to like this, I really did, but I can see that not all Christian men will in good conscience be able to use the materials as provided. Now maybe to a Roman Catholic praying to Michael the archangel is actually a spiritual necessity (is it?), but for a Christian anchored in the protestant tradition, praying to anyone but God is morally wrong and dangerous. I’ve no problem accommodating a number of practices and traditions that are more or less unique to Roman Catholics, and I acknowledge them as my brothers in Christ, so it’s not out of prejudice or intolerance that I take my position. I was more looking for the fraternity aspect of this program, as I’ve already integrated cold showers, fasting and other ascetic disciplines on my own..Version: 3.0.1

Thank youI love what you guys have done with this. Thank you. Some feedback for you would be that often the app will freeze up on me when trying to go from the reading portion then back to fraternity. Some other navigating through the app same thing occurs. I want to say thank you for creating a group chat environment. It has greatly helped me as well as others in my group to communicate amongst each other. We started with a group text via the regular way but then got used to doing it through the app which was great. My group is now almost done with the oasis. Thank you for all that you have done. Life changing program! Dishonest appI loved Ex90, the movement and my fraternity made a huge difference in my life. I subscribed to the app and bought the book. I do believe in charity, however the app itself is not incredibly clear on payment, before Jan 1st at the start, or at the end. I continued to pay a 10/mo membership without realizing it all the way into may. Which is my mistake of course- and I’m not upset about it on my end for my own sake! But I do hope that the developers try to make a more clear option for the app to continue, or end membership at the end of 90 days. The fact is, Promoting a 90 day fellowship program, that you sign up with a continuous auto-debited payment doesn’t look good. It looks like a worldly money grab. I’m not saying it is, but that as a representative of the faith it’s important to take every step possible to be forthright as possible, and I think a feature like that prompting or reminding the user would look a lot better. Will definitely be doing this again!.Version: 1.0.3

Companions on the journeyNever heard of this before and my friend invited me to join for 90 days! One side of me said sure other said what???? Here I am almost 180 days in and it ha a truly helped me and now I am a part of a fraternal group of men, who are honest, real and companions on the Journey with me. Centered on the daily prayer, the constant sharing via the app between each other, with weekly focuses of humility and self discipline, Exodus 90 has given me a venue to deeper my awareness of God, self and community! You got nothing to lose by trying but everything to gain..Version: 3.4.0

Beyond wordsI started the Exodus program about three years ago. It was a very challenging endeavor but was very educational and got me started on a much better path. Ive done this program quite a few times over and each time I learn something new every time. Now, they have come out with new programs that continue to help me develop my faith and prayer life. Once you after it’s hard to stop. I love what Exodus has done for me. Thank you for giving me a stronger faith and making me a better man for my family and for my God..Version: 3.0.1

Great Spiritual Exercise. It’s walking us with Jesus and his ChurchDo not hesitate to share with others and yourself join many more man all around the world in this journey that barely begins here. I agree with other reviews. I was tempted to run back to “Egypt” when the time of spending money arrived. Like other people testimonies, me too, I was willing to eat at restaurants or buy fast food no matter the cost but now I pay more attention to what it’s really import in life for truly I’ve experienced “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”. (Matthew 4:4 and John 1:10).Version: 1.0.3

Not just for young menI’m 48 and have been engaged with ascetic practices for many years. When I first read about Exodus 90 I thought it was to help young men engage for the first time with a deeper spirituality or get out of porn etc. I started just because I felt like I needed a kick in the pants, I’m about 2 years past a spiritual “dark night”. Needless to say I’m 2 weeks in to Exodus 90 and it was exactly what I needed to refocus and to get back to some foundational truths about who God is and how he interacts with us. The devotions are really good and the commitment to masculinity and healthy gender roles is a breath of fresh air..Version: 1.0.3

Helping me be a better manThis app on its own is good. With some willpower and fraternity it will improve your life..Version: 3.4.0

Exodus 90 is awesomeA great program to follow. Encourages finding developing a brotherhood, helps you work on yourself and your relationship with God. It really help me get into a routine again and develop a prayer life. The app is really nice too :).Version: 3.4.0

One App to rule them all outLonging for true freedom? That’s your chance, your kairos, Christ is the truth that will set you free. Exodus 90 is a way on the Way to true discipleship & manship in Christ with the Catholic Church. Thank you Exodus 90.Version: 3.4.0

“Saint Valentine” and Exodus 90Today, February 14, is the Memorial of the brothers Saints Cyril and Methodius, apostles to the Slavic peoples in the 9th century. They helped develop the so-called Cyrillic alphabet in order to provide translations of the Scriptures and liturgical texts. “Saint Valentine” was removed from the Catholic liturgical calendar of Saints because what we know of him is historically unreliable and on the order of pious story. A “nice” story to be sure! And today not his feast. —“Will you be my Cyril and Methodius” doesn’t have quite the same ring as “Be my Valentine” lol! 🙄😊.Version: 3.4.0

E90 is a game changerWell done!.Version: 3.4.0

A must have for any Catholic manExodus 90 is a key tool in the life of every Catholic man. The 90 day journey challenges you to put God first in concrete ways with prayer, asceticism and fraternity which are all essential for the Spiritual Warfare of the times. The app itself is well laid out and makes your daily readings and gospel easy to access. If you care about faith, family or friendship, download this app and find a fraternity!.Version: 3.4.0

Great programI think the program is wonderful. It seems to affects you day after day. And be on the mark where you are. What I think would make the app better would be small things. Like your anchor could see how your day went and it would show you your stats of the percent you did the exercises.Version: 3.0.1

Excellent appGiven that Exodus 90 requires strictures on digital use, I was initially skeptical about using an app. But with grayscale making one’s smartphone more a useful tool and less a vortex of distraction, the qualities of the Exodus 90 app shine through. Very helpful and recommended..Version: 1.0.3

Awesome awesome!!!Love the app. It’s beautifully designed and I loved love the overall idea. Made Exodus that much better. A great way to get into it. 👍🏼👍🏼.Version: 1.0.3

ARivetI did not think an app for your spiritual life would be beneficial. I am glad to be wrong. It’s funny how motivating clicking all the icons for the disciplines , pushes you to stay on track..Version: 1.0.3

Good LayoutUnlike that individual principles can be checked off on this version of the app. Easy to keep yourself in check this way. It would be nice if you could scroll back through the daily readings right in the reading portion without having to go to the calendar..Version: 1.0.3

If you are looking for the ancient path, the good way, this here will help!As a Non-catholic church pastor, I found this to be deeply soul-enriching and challenging. Nearing the end of the 90 days, I am going through this with two other pastors and it is excellent. It helps to open your eyes to the things in life that you are attached to and just sloppy you are living. Little things that saps the true joy out of your life. A great tool for spiritual life overhaul and maintenance; for the long-haul..Version: 1.0.3

The reflections are greatThe quality of the reflections is really great. They are challenging, relevant, and inspiring. Thank you, E90 team..Version: 1.0.3

Take courage, be a manIf you are looking to become a Man after God's own heart and overcome whatever habitual sins enslave you and hold you back. If you are looking to become a better father or husband or brother or priest, no other program offers a clearer more direct route to overcoming these obstacles. It was never intended to be easy, rather I've found when you (and the men you embark on this journey with) commit their whole heart to this program, lives change, wounds heal and families become whole. My experience has been so great I want to make this a yearly endeavour. Thx be to the good men who have started this inniative..Version: 1.0.3
