Great app for home motivation to workout! Would love to see “ add friends” section too!I really love the app and the fact that it allows you and recommends to also connect built in music playlists! Saves a lot of time finding offline playlists and creates a one hub space for us as users. I love the challenges and connection to my apple health too. One recommendation I would suggest is to a add a feature to “connect to friends” using this app as well. After I recommended this all to a friend, I was looking for that feature but I did not find it. I think it would be awesome to add this “add friends feature” since we could expand our health and workout data and share it with friends. This would make the workouts even more fun, since we could recommend or share specific challenges. I also think having friends on the platform sometimes boosts the want to workout “since you see your friends working out” so it becomes sort of a game where you can compete. This would connect really well with the app’s motto on boosting people to lead healthy lifestyle and share it with others. Would love to see that added hopefully!.Version: 1.4.11

Too much $$ for what you getWhile the app appears to track the necessary things to lose weight, there are some glitches and downsides. Such as on the weekly report, my weight change isn’t correct, the variety of foods you can look up to log is not extensive enough, the app tracks my workouts I do that it provides but doesn’t register the calories I burned doing them. These are just a few of the problems in this app. For the money it’s far too aggravating, when seeing the accurate progress would be so motivating..Version: 1.11.26

Some things are great, others things need considerable workPros: The interval training workouts are really great. I’ve gotten a lot of benefit from the targeted strength training. I like the meditations as well. Cons: The majority of the walking exercises, in spite of their unique titles, are highly redundant. You do one, you’ve done them all. There’s not much to distinguish them from each other. The timer/reset format of the app is not very conducive for an authentic yoga experience, and the introduction of poses are not very sequential - use Down Dog or Nike Training Club for a better flow and more customizable practice. (Verv doesn’t always use the proper name of poses either, so if you’re trying to learn yoga vocabulary, this only gets you about 30% of the way there.) The running exercises are really hard for non-runners to start with; I’ve been using the sister app Running for Weight Loss. The sleep sessions are good, but doesn’t initiate auto-lock after it ends, so it will run all night and miscalculate your workout minutes on your Apple Watch..Version: 1.5.2

Love the single workouts but need more!I could never commit to working out to videos online and would quickly grow bored, but this app has kept me engaged for two weeks now and I’m seeing results! I love the single workouts and the ability to see all the workouts I’ve done. I don’t have to commit to an hour-long work out, but can accomplish many exercises throughout the day during breaks between working at home. I love the ala carte features, the visual clarity with different views, the timer, rest time while showing the next exercise, and the program progress line on top...all thoughtfully designed and organized for today’s multi-tasking mind! My only suggestion is to add more single workouts under 12 minutes that focus on more body parts. I would love to see a Women’s chest and back sculptor, Thigh and cellulite buster and...Flabby Arm Sculptor for Women!.Version: 1.4.16

Good but lackingI really enjoy how easy it is to get started on the workouts and the recipe suggestions, and most of the exercises are pretty fun. However, there is definitely room for improvement. 1) The calorie/food input is super limiting. It would be helpful if we could just scan barcodes in or manually input food and calories when it’s not available in the list. 2) It doesn’t seem to REALLY connect to Apple Health since my calories burned throughout the day never subtracts from the calories I need to burn. 3) You can’t add in other work outs. If I go to the gym or for a run and forget to turn on an activity, you can’t add it later. You also can add your own activities like cleaning, rowing, playing soccer, etc..Version: 1.11.27

I love this app.... but!I love this app I’m going on 28 I was a huge runner when I was younger I ran every day just for “fun” but after getting out of the military I lost my focus and decided to take a break. After gaining 40lbs I decided to run again. I tried the Verv weight loss running app and loved that it broke down my intervals down to my pace on my map in written and map view I also loved that it tracks my weight loss and provides meal suggestions (all amazing features) but I wanted an app that provided me with off day workouts so I got this app about bought the premium version hoping it supplied all those great features the running app did and it doesn’t. Great workoutsLove the workouts this app has to offer. This app was great to maintain workouts through lockdown with gyms not open. I just restarted using the app last week after 2 months off from an injury. I love the water tracking feature & the daily tips, step counter, calorie burned, suggested daily workout to try, & a few other features on the home page that were new this time around as opposed to the old format from last year. Really love it so farI really love this app, how easy it is to use and how many different kinds of programs it has. Seems like a new app.Even though this app has exercises for newbies it does not take in account those customers that are looking to start working out but maybe overweight and can’t do certain exercises due to their weight. The other issue is customers that want to work out and have back issues. What I think so farMy Name is Teagan and I just downloaded this app today and I’ve just finished my first workout and I’ve been looking and browsing through the app to see everything this app has without needing premium. And so far I love this app! I feel amazing right now! Best Exercise app for getting startedI love this app for it’s simplicity. If you’re just starting out to exercise the app provides straightforward instructions, no brains, just easy to follow routines adjusted to your abilities. The programs are geared so that they are easily attainable, progressing as you get stronger. There is also wide variety of additional workouts you can add to your routine if you want to work a certain area or need a boosts of cardio. No Subscription Warning!!!App is fine if you’re into it. My problem is with the subscription. If you sign up through Apple, you should be ok because you can manage through your appleID. But be warned: if you just subscribe separately, you will get no warning about your subscription renewing!! Just a receipt after you’ve been charged, with no way t get a refund. Even if you want to cancel, you have to request a link and process it separately, and still no refund. They’re sneaky! Awesome!This app is so cool. It paces you and she’s planned workouts that target your fitness goals. You choose the time and intensity. I got this app because I was looking for an easy way to workout without having to follow random workouts. It works best when your workouts build on each other. This app also explains how to do each workout in the program and gives rest time between each workout and set. Lastly it connects to my Apple Watch which I thought was pretty cool! Amazing & Helpful!This app is amazing! I’ve been trying for so long to find a workout app that is mostly free and beneficial to my body goals! Good app for at home workoutSince life got busy I had no time to go to gym had to cancel membership, gained weight and was feeling guilty of not being able to work out. Confused on WorkoutsI really like this app and want to change my rating but I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone to answer my questions. I want to know why it has my workouts broken up into 2 sessions a day instead of one longer session. I have two 15 minute sessions a day instead of one 30 minute one. Why? New App UserI like the app but I have a few things I wanted to point out. Such as do you do one work out program at a time or can you do multiples combined? This seems confusing. Also this app looks like it's only compatible for iPhone vs IPad Will you have it compatible to move to different formats? Lastly when connecting the app to phone and then to iPad they don't link the workouts you did on one device to the other device. Will that be something that will be fixed? Good but needs tweaksBrowsing around the recipes i noticed the vegan options were a bit slim and some of the pictures weren’t matching up to the recipes. I had the app hooked up to my Apple Watch but after i finished my workout and exited the app it just kept running on my watch and i couldn’t figure out how to make it stop so i had to remove the app from my watch. It kept my activity rings running the whole time. The excercises are great but if you don’t know them or aren’t ready when you are watching the videos you have to pause it because they switch excercises really fast..Version: 1.5.1

Not bad so far!!So I’ve been using Verv for maybe a month now and I’m loving it. My process is slow but it’s going and that makes me happy. I LOVE the new update with the mini band workouts. They’ve been my favorite thing thus far. I would completely give this app 5 out of 5 stars but I do have a couple things. I wish in the “search” section you could type in what it is your looking for. Downloaded due to COVID- best decisionI downloaded this App because of CoVID and the gyms being closed ( ☹️) . I started with the free trial and then when with the premium version (paid for the year). I’m very happy with my purchase. I love the running interval program. SuggestionHello, Couple of things… Are you at any point going to include bike rides/stationary cycling. Also, how about just stretching. There are times I’d like to get up and stretch for 5 maybe 10 minutes and it would great to make sure I’m doing it right. Recipes are not very goodThey aren’t very descriptive and don’t explain every well. I tried to make some chocolate muffins on the app and it said to add flour but there was no amount listed on ingredients or even flour listed. Then I went to add salt to the muffin mixture and it didn’t give me the measurement. I had a hard time making the muffins due to these problems. And they weren’t even chocolate like muffins. I like the over all app but I wouldn’t do any recipes on here due to the lack of information on the app. I love the work outs and the meditation..Version: 1.4.2

Generally Good but BuggyI like the exercises a lot but the sessions are buggy: 1. Every session had at least one video with no demo, just sound. 2. Part of one session had 45 sec rest periods between some of the exercises instead of the normal 9 secs. 3. 9 secs, for me, was not enough time to rest between exercises. 4. One exercise in particular I noticed had wrong verbal instructions and that is the Frog Hop. It says to jump forward several feet instead of several inches. It’s a little comical to think any human could jump several feet in that position. 5. Some of the warm up exercises are too quick hardly giving one the opportunity to do them and the voice is out of sync with the video. Overall, I liked the program and the tweaks mentioned would make it perfect. I get paid to scrutinize apps so there you go!.Version: 1.10.2

Hard to meal planI do like this app and have high hopes but why can't a premium member look at their meal plans a week at a time??? There is no way i can meal plan or have the ingredients on hand when it will only show the meal plan the day of. I also really wish that they would let premium members look back on their history. Low Amount of Diet Information but great otherwiseI really enjoy the exercise component, especially the quick short workouts which I use during my study breaks. However, I do wish they had more diet plans such as the Carnivore Diet. I have been using it for my autoimmune disorder with great success. Great workout appThis app is wonderful for a variety of workouts and health tips. I didn’t give 5 stars because, after a workout is complete the app doesn’t actually complete and end the program. Fast workoutsThis offered super fast workouts (10 mins or less) almost too fast. By the time they’ve explained the exercise you’re almost moving on to the next. Great because it’s easy to commit to a shot workout but would almost need to pause or write down the routine and do it a few times to get any benefits. Perfect appYes I paid for this but it’s no more expensive then wasting money on junk food and other wants.
