When did you last change your sheets? Did you take your multivitamin today? When Did I…? lets you track when you do things so you can answer these questions and more. Choose from our suggested Actions or add your own so you can keep on top of things you’ve done. From things you do every day, to things you only do once a year, the sky’s the limit.

NOT A “TO-DO LIST”: To-do list and habit trackers tell you what you should do. When Did I…? tells you what you have done and when and where you did it.

ACTIONS: Choose anything you’d like to track and pick your own emoji. See how long ago it was since you last did that thing and the location of where you did it. Just tap the row when you perform that Action and When Did I…? will remember it for you. For more details about that Action, tap the arrow on the right.

ACTION DETAIL: View a history of all the times you’ve logged that Action. Edit the title and choose your own emoji, add a past Event, and set up Siri Shortcuts.

EVENT DETAIL: See the exact time and location of the time you performed that Action. You can add a note or edit the date and time here too.

HISTORY: See your full history of all the Events you’ve added. What you’ve done today, yesterday and more.

ICLOUD SYNC: When Did I…? uses iCloud to seamlessly sync your data between your iPhone and your iPad.

SIRI SHORTCUTS: When Did I…? lets you add two types of Siri Shortcuts, including asking when you last did an Action and recording when you performed that Action. For example, “Hey Siri, when did I change my sheets?” Or “Hey Siri, I did change my sheets!”

THEMES: Change between light or dark mode and several fun color themes.

When Did I…? App Comments & Reviews

When Did I…? Positive Reviews

Fuzzy numbers make this hard to use for medicineI really wanted to use this app to help me keep track of a number of medications I have to juggle after a surgery. But I find the fuzzy numbering system used to indicate when is the last time I took a medication completely baffling. I would love to see at a glance that it’s been 8 hours since I took a medication. But the summary page will say 6 hours ago, when in reality it’s 8 hours ago. That’s too much fuzzy numbering to make this safe to use. At least for medical purposes. All this needs is a setting to turn off fuzzy numbering, and get an accurate time, and this app would be so perfect..Version: 1.0.6

Very useful and it is only version 1.0It has been awhile since I have found an app that takes something so simple and makes it exciting. I have been tracking numerous things in notes on my phone. One example is when I changed the oil in my car and the mileage. Although notes did the trick this app is going to keep all of the data much more organized and easier to follow the historical data. I immediately added an entry for each of my vehicles and entered all of the historical data manually. It looks so much better than a text document and much easier to see at a glance “When did I” change the oil. Thanks and I can’t wait to see what comes in future updates. I would like to add that adding the ability to add a reminder to items would be a good addition to the app. I know it is not meant to be a reminders app but I think it would make a really good hybrid app for logging and reminding..Version: 1.0

Brilliant twist, thoughtfully presentedI don’t know Heidi, but I’m pretty sure she’s not a licensed psychologist. And yet she had tapped into something that, in many cases, more closely aligns with the way our brains actually work than the classic ToDo list or bullet journals that have been the rage for the last half century. And I’m not a psychologist, either, so I won’t try to sell this opinion as anything other than my personal observation. But I am a dad of two small kinder, and this app just clicks with them. Kids (and grown ups) just naturally resist ToDo lists, because it’s a chore that needs to be done. This app twists the paradigm by focused on what you have done, not what needs to be done. It’s classic positive reinforcement. The attention is on that which has been accomplished, not that which needs to be done. It’s subtle, but it’s a perspective shift that, to borrow the words of Dan Harris, makes you 10% Happier..Version: 1.0.4

Intro screen is missing VoiceOver labelsThe app sounds very interesting. The first screen however is missing labels that can be read with VoiceOver, the screen reader build into ios. Also unsure what the icon details button does next to my items as nothing happens when I doubletap the button. Otherwise a great app though..Version: 1.0.1

Great first versionThis app is such a simple idea but it’s done really *really* well. I’m real excited to see what comes in future updates! If I could make two requests: I’d love to see local interactive notifications if something hasn’t been done recently to kind of serve as a reminder function. But I think even more useful would be a simple widget view with our selected emoji and the number of days since a thing was logged. Bonus points if I can say I did a thing from the lock screen by tapping on the emoji! I think this app has lots of cool potential here. Thanks for the great 1.0!.Version: 1.0.2

Great little application with lots of room to grow!Heard about this app from the Launched podcast, and really enjoy using it! Very well polished app for a 1.0.x Two feature requests: 1) Allow a user to select a “threshold” time. Eg, say I have “Change the cat litter” on, but I should really change it every day. It would be great to set a threshold of 1 day, and when I pass that threshold, it sends me a notification, or the text turns red, or some other visual cue. Even if I could specify thresholds for “green,” “yellow,” and “red,” that would be awesome. 2) Allow a user to share a task with another user (or users), and let them both contribute tasks to it. Eg, say I have “Change the cat litter” and I’m living with a partner/spouse/SO, we could both see the task and contribute to it. Plus, it’d be cool to see a small chart or graph that breaks down each person’s contributions. Probably would require some server-side work and a shared database that syncs..Version: 1.0.4

Fantastic AppAmazing application! As I am getting into my upper 40s my short term memory is going to the pits. I mainly use this to log medications as well as ask if I took the medications for that day if I can’t remember. I have now added other actions, and made them all into Shortcuts. I can simply ask, did I “task” in Siri will let me know when the last time I took that action. For those of you complaining, this is a free app, into the developer: I am very grateful you created this great job!.Version: 1.0.6

YOU READ MY MIND AND I LOVE ITI’ve been looking for THIS app for several months, and thought it didn’t exist! I was to the point of looking into how to make an app/thinking of app names so I could make this style of tracker, and I finally found your beautiful creation when I— get this—came up with a name idea for my app (whendidi-pronounced like “wendihdee”) and typed it into the App Store and lo and behold you had already created EXACTLY what I was looking for!! ❤️❤️❤️.Version: 1.0.5

Fills a Gap in my Tool-beltThis app filled a gap in my tool belt. I needed a way to track those things you do once in a blue moon: clean the windows; the oven; replace my razor; etc. and this fits the bill. I noticed my electric tooth brush was needing to recharge more often so I added that as an entry to see just how often it's happening. The ability to assign an emoji is a nice touch too. Helps with recognition of an entry with a glance. I also appreciate the fit and finish of the app..Version: 1.0

Fun + functionalThis app is great and easy to use. I have vertigo that started over a year ago and I am keeping track of when it comes and goes. I keep track of when I see my first hummingbird. If my children or grandchildren were younger I would enter when their milestones. It has many uses..Version: 1.0.5

So Useful! This is one of those app you don’t know you need until you start using it. Then wonder what you did without it. Excellent way to keep track of the last time you did a particular task (change the sheets, change the oil, call parents, etc). Super simple and flexible; a great way to stay on top of these kinds of tasks!.Version: 1.0.3

When Did I Last Download Such a Useful App?I love that the app allows me to easily see with a quick scan when I last completed any of my tracked actions (meditate, bike, sauna, etc.), and input that I’ve completed an action with a single tap. I had previously used a spreadsheet to log activities. Glad to finally move to a more convenient tool..Version: 1.0

Finally an app to track these things!File this under: things I never knew I needed! I love now being able to track things that I do periodically, like getting a hair cut, changing my sheets, or calling my grandparents. It’s so handy to have a place to store all of these actions! Love it!.Version: 1.0

Greatness!!What a wonderful app! It does exactly as advertised Well thought out and very easy to use. Clean looking on both my iPad and iPhone! Thanks! Suggestion? Yes, export to a spreadsheet would be nice! Sorting and searching. But even without these, I recommend this app!.Version: 1.0.4

Super Useful and GreatThis App is extremely useful and made with all functions you need for journaling any activity you need. Please don't abandon this app 🙏.Version: 1.0.5

Excellent unique appI really hope this developer continues to expand functionality in a helpful way without sacrificing simplicity! I also love the integration with shortcuts!!.Version: 1.0.3

Track anythingNow I can definitively say how long it took to grow my beard..Version: 1.0

Great idea needs better date supportNeed to be able to set a year and date of events. Currently, does not go back far enough or allow for a specific year to be chosen..Version: 1.0.3

Can’t SortIt boggles my mind why this app will not allow you to sort by the date you last did the action!!.Version: 1.0.5

3/4Waiting for Apple Watch app. Thank you..Version: 1.0.1

Suggestion for Another Setting FeatureNice little app, at least the concept. I am tracking 2 habits and I find “history” screen confusing. For me, actually 2 suggestions: 1. Let me have the option to color code tasks and 2. Also allow me to choose between a counting timer or a fixed date format. BTW, I ran 1 export via airdrop to my laptop (only once so far, so maybe I did it wrong) .... first export was missing about 1/3 of my data..Version: 1.0

The app I didn’t think I neededEasy to use and great for remembering the last time you did something that you want to refer to. ie. when did I last change the water filter, furnace filter etc..Version: 1.0.3
