Adding location informationI just opened this app and it did what I wanted. Some people don’t want people to know where a photo was taken, but I do. I traveled for two years in a RV and stayed in over 250 locations. The location information helps me find the photos I want to look at. My iphone and ipad photo location information works great, but my camera doesn’t have GPS built in. This app lets me add locations and it is easy..JC nicknameVersion: 2.0

Effective Exif clearing app with single caveatPurchased this app to be able to share photos online, through email, and messages without providing more personally identifiable information than necessary. This was one of the only apps listed in App Store that stated it does not track you. App does its job well and makes it easy to clear metadata in mass, but one crucial feature it is lacking is a button or link to “authorize additional photos” from iOS photo album. I do not provide any apps access to all photos, only those photos I approve. The only way to authorize more photos in this app is to open iOS settings, navigate to the app’s settings, and eventually, can select more photos. I will continue to do this, but please, developer, add a button in your app to authorize more photos! Other apps already do this, like WeChat. That single feature would turn this app in to a solid 5-star app! I will update my rating if that feature is ever enabled..Mopro1888Version: 2.1

Love that I can edit Exif data, hate that it saves as JPGI really wish it’d save the image as it’s original format… I often save them as PNG… and I don’t want quality loss when I’m sharing with friends. On the bright side, I figure people will be less likely to be able to steal the images when I post to Facebook if they are lower quality, as I typically save the high quality non-watermarked PNG uploads for Redbubble or the like. Either way, it’s an amazingly helpful app, and I do recommend. I eventually want the full suite because I would like the photo vault for keeping people out of the various images I’m working on/with. Love my IRL friends, but they have no real artistic skills, but that doesn’t stop them from wanting to offer uninvited advice. I use it regularly and it works wellI find the templates to be one of the most useful features. While I give it 5 stars I would absolutely love it if they would introduce scripts or shortcuts so you could modify in just a few taps from the photo album. When Apple introduced the ability to change limited data and locations, that was helpful and long overdue. But Exif Viewer goes so far beyond that in useful ways..4th of 4Version: 2.2

Useful and relatively easy to navigate!I haven’t used all of the available functionality of this app, but the editing features that I have attempted to utilize have been easy to locate and make use of! Overlooked metadataV1.7 does not let you edit altitude or time zone. Altitude can show the position has been modified (a mismatch may show you are underground or in the sky). Time zone can show the position or date/time was changed (a photo of a sunrise over the ocean should not show a California time zone). There are other missing values. Direction and speed for example. Geotagging doesn't really work, super slowThe app is VERY slow to start up, as it seems to be reading my photos or something. And it doesn't cache it's view so if you switch away and switch back, you have to wait 30-60 seconds before doing anything. Bulk EXIF editing works well. Bulk geotagging effectively doesn't work, because it requires that you either manually enter Lat/Long (who has this?) or choose a preselected location that you cannot select from the map, but must search for. And the search is VERY BROKEN. For example, I'm in Bonaire and I search for "Salt Pier", a common location. Does not find it. I scroll around the map to locate it, then search again, then it finds it. But then it will occasionally just clear the location out and show me nonsense locations like san salvador. To me, this makes the geotagging feature essentially unusable. If you are taking photos anywhere that is not in the US, you will probably not be able to use this to properly geotag your photos..Davetron5000Version: 1.5

A decent iOS app but a horribly broken and unusable Cocoa appSo I have used the iOS version of the for at least a year or two and found it suited my use case decent enough so it was quite shocking too see the sorry mess under the hood the on macOS . "Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS" is quite the understatement. Completely broken UI/ Non-navegable from the start, that would begin to hang within minutes of start-up, could only ever render items from my Photoslibrary as blurry unrecognizalbe blotches, twice i witnessed the entire active window becoming a white block of text and crashing. Major concernI tried it for a few days but was concerned about giving this app access to all my photos. Here’s why... Too many reviews aren’t real. Look at the computer-generated names and the exact same dates of the 5-star postings. And out of 1200 reviews, not a single one is below 5-stars? Impossible. Asked the developer to respond to the problem of the fake reviewers, but so far no reply. Hmmm.... Maybe the developer will reply here. False claim, no video support. No app supportI purchased this app because it says on the description it will work for photos and videos but when using it the app does not even give the option to select videos. The settings have no option for this either. The “App Support” link opens a Wordpress page with some comments but there is no way to request support there, it’s a dead end. I had high hopes..I had high hopes for this App. All I wanted to do was add keywords or comments or (anything) to my images META that would be recognized by my iOS15.3.1 Photo Album. That is to say, I want to Mark a photo so that it is found when I search.. Dog (for Example). IDK if it is in the description comments keywords or even camera information, as long as the Camera Roll search finds it by that word. I have tried every Exif editable choice and although it says data has been updated, it is not seen (or changed) in CameraRoll search. Spent several hours trying to make… no luck. Buggy in my old iPhone 6+ (iOS v12.4.x).App crashes when removing all datas from slow motion MOV videos. It can’t get details from them too. Its camera roll album doesn’t show videos and refresh brand new videos. Its technical support seems good though to answer though. BEWARERead the reviews and look at the names. Judge for yourself. I bought the app to remove geo from my pics. YES it can do it one at a time. Select all and try - it appears to work but does nothing. When you modify a photo it will create a new photo. Maybe that is the reason why I can’t modify the whole library, because it would duplicate 4K photos. But why not warn me or give an option?
