The StoryThe story I would say is one of the game’s greatest strengths as many of its characters are likable including the support characters like Chihiro and Nozomi. It was nice to see Michi as a character, honestly I found her annoying at times with her comments when encountering in season 1 but also relatable whenever Takumi acted rudely. Over the story, I found her to be quite enjoyable especially in season 2 with it giving some insight into her thoughts of the situation around her. Mayu and Keito although there character development wasn’t as long as Michi in season 2 it was still nice to see nonetheless especially Mayu’s. Then there’s Takumi, he was interesting as though he’s definitely a good person his methods are extreme to get to the best scenario, even desperate in some cases. He became... friendlier I think to the group. Takumi I think is still the most mysterious of the group (beside Eiji as I’m suspicious of him for some reason) as I’m curious about the background information on his meeting with Dorumon and the reason for joining “that” digimon. Herrismon was interesting. I don’t have the right words for it but his interactions with other digimon was always fun to read especially the clash battle stories. Great game with a fatal flawI love the game. The pacing of progression in the game seems fair in my experience. You work for what you get (unless you pay actual money to simply speed things up; I did twice for summons, but it is by no means necessary). Overall, they seem to distribute adequate supplies for the effort put in, while not making it overly difficult to the point of giving up out of frustration. It also maintains a good level of entertainment. My only issue is with a recent update. I have been experiencing an increasing number of crashes in the last week and a half or so. It started as any time I tried opening the shop, then moved on to occasionally crashing during battles of any kind (clash, battle, story, vortex). It quickly started crashing more frequently during all battles, and is now crashing every single time I begin a battle. It’s forcing me to either abandon my stamina and occasional digirubies or to re-enter the battle multiple times only for the app to crash the second I accept or it loads the fight. I have retried upwards of 20 times on one fight to be absolutely certain it would crash every time. I am now limited to literally only giving care items, and depleting my remaining bit to upgrade lower level digimon I wasn’t focusing on originally. I hope this glitch is resolved soon because I love the game, but I can’t play it with this happening..D365KVersion: 2.1.0

Fun game for fans but…Been playing for about a month now and so far it’s been pretty fun. The story is pretty engaging and the stamina system isn’t too oppressive like other gacha games so you don’t have wait hours just to play. That aside the Digirubys are fairly expensive, basically $20 gets you 10 chances draws and that’s a sale they’re running. That being said so far they’re pretty attainable through regular gameplay albeit you’ll have to grind but it’s to be expected for this type of game. The leveling system is very layered which definitely contributes to the grind and obviously the higher you level the more you’ll have to work. To digivolve a rookie Digimon to a mega you’ll have to awaken your Digimon several times which requires “workout chips” that increase in rarity as you level up. That’s just one of the many parts of the leveling system. As far as competitive play, so far there have been 2 new banners. Each time the meta changed so if you’re wanting to be competitive you’ll either have to spend an unhealthy amount of time playing or open your wallet, get ready to spend a lot if you do. The difference in damage between the best possible version of a particular Digimon and one even a single step below it is honestly pretty insane. PvP bug???Idk if anyone else is having the same issues but since the 2nd season started yesterday and I have gotten some points racked up, I am stuck getting paired against the same person over and over again and at first the free wins were nice but it’s starting to become very stale and I would really appreciate this issue be fixed. It’s bad enough that PvP is already automated, but playing against the same team over and over? I’d rather play PvE and get more rewards bc this isn’t a very rewarding PvP experience IMO. Please fix ASAP. edit: DAY 3 of me getting matched up against the same person. Im not playing PvP at all until the issue is fixed. I don’t understand, the game was working perfectly last week? Why am I getting paired against one person only?? It’s extremely stale and unfulfilling. What am I grinding for if I’m just playing against only one person? Great game, but...The game needs a bit of work. I, along with many others, have experienced problems such as constant crashes (averaging 1 crash every 12 minutes for me, yes I did the math XD) and fairly frequent freezes (especially when loading). I’d also like to point out the 5% chance for a potential “Mega” Digimon, don’t get me wrong, 5% is actually fairly generous in my eyes, but when I roll several 10+1 rolls it would be nice if that +1 was a potential “Mega”. I’m not saying you should just start handing megas out, but perhaps make it more rewarding for the players, after all a customer that is satisfied and happy with the game is much more likely to pay then a customer that is unsatisfied and agitated in the game. I’d also like to ask why there are so many different “Plug-in” gachas, personally seems idiotic when you take the event shops and what not into consideration. Now as for the combat, I’ve actually only got one thing to complain about, and that’s the lack of a target function, the lack of which only makes the game that little bit more grindy, repetitive, tedious, and agitating. Reloading Old AccountI like this game overall. It’s very well done and fun. I stopped playing after a bit and issued an password for my account only to learn later that it was valid only for 90 days. Tbh I really liked the game but after I had gotten to a fair lvl after my first time playing, I was very upset that I couldn’t regain my old account because that’s when I learned that the password only lasted 90 days which I had been absent from the game longer. I even checked to see if my account was deleted but it wasn’t meaning my first account that I worked hard on was now simply idle and unable to progress. I had even gotten Digimon that are Megas which means they aren’t easy to get. If anything the passwords should be made set, like other games made by this producer and I assumed the passwords would be set. Alas I was wrong. Nice game, but...This is my actual first introduction to Digimon and the Digimon series overall. I’ve never played with any of the games or the toys. I decided to play this game because the actual first reason why I got into Digimon in the first place was because of WatchMojo’s video about the top ten cutest anime characters, and when I saw Calumon/Culumon for the first time in that video, he just looked super cute!! So then, I thought: “Huh. I like games where you can raise pets and things, so what if I play the latest Digimon game?” So, I did. Yesterday, I downloaded this Digimon game, started playing with it, and I actually enjoyed it! Once I got through the start of the game and stuff, I went to the Summon game. I was having fun, wondering what Digimon I’d get, until, I looked into the chance contents to see what Digimon were in the different summoning gachas, until I realized something: You can’t get Calumon/Culumon from the gachas!! I read an article on a wiki page for Digimon, and even though he’s in the game, (I’m not at that part yet in the story) You can’t summon him! I just wish that he was, because he’s my favorite Digimon character..Mimimi-chan!Version: 2.3.1

Infinite loading screensMy client has crashed twice now in my first 20 minutes of playing. There seems to be some sort of glitch where “loading” the next screen after you win a battle, or before a scene transition, basically whenever the game has to load something and transition to a different screen, there’s a chance it’ll just sit there loading forever with no changes whatsoever. I missed mission rewards and had progress erased because of this issue. I wanted to play your game, because I remember watching Digimon on 4KidsTv back in the 90s. I’ve seen every iteration of the franchise, even saw the movies. There’s a deep nostalgia attached to my love for this franchise, and you almost have a perfect representation of that. Infinite loading screens pull me out of the experience though, which is a shame considering it appears you guys worked really hard on making this feel super polished in every other area. Overall goodBut it has its flaws. Mostly for me not being able to target specific enemies. The game just chooses a target for you which is kinda annoying. The Digimon have access to a main and sub skill but automatically attack, a lot of the time interfering with attempts to complete quests with 3 stars that require you to kill the boss with a main, sub or special skill because they are killed with a random auto attack that can’t be turned off. And a special skill gauge that seems to fill up kind of randomly. Because of this I found it hard to complete some quests and took multiple attempts that were less skill based and more just luck. Also to digivolve, it requires items that are obtained from random clash battles. Making it hard to farm specific items needed. The models are very nice and the tomodachi feel adds to the game. All down hill from hereI’ve played this game since early December 2019 played it until this date and the banner of BBM. I’m free to play and have been smart with my rubies and have a really stacked account. However now the power creep is too much. Over the past 3 months they have release too many strong units making it too hard to keep up. Use to the banner units would last you 2 - 3 months of relevancy in battle park (the only true source of weekly rubies). Now they might be relevant for 1-2 weeks. BBM just came out, a lot of people’s favorite and the next banner is going to put him on the shelf. Making the game pretty much pay to win now, because there’s no way to keep up with every banner to get the good units. The way they have it now you can’t skip banners and save, the power creep have turned into a power run and it’s sad. If only they cared about their player base. I get you have to make money but this is ridiculous. The only people who play anyways are the last of Digimon’s fan base. Feedback for Developers!!I got say as an digimon fan this is certainly a step up from the previous mobile game, and I enjoy it very much! The current selection of digimon includes many of the ones which appeared in the shows, and the way the challenges in the levels correlate with the story is great attention to detail! You even included farm and the digiwalk feature from the toys which is a nice nostalgic touch! The battle system although a bit complicated is quite fun and the tutorial doesn’t really feel too intrusive! As I said I enjoy this game, however since it is still getting started there is quite a bit to tweak! The ingame resource system needs work (the Dimension Levels for instance, should drop more than a couple of pieces of food for my beloved digimon T.T) It’s a great idea to have bit be a central currency and not have 50 different currencies, it cuts back on confusion! However, I feel with so little stamina it becomes a chore to manage everything that I need to do D: If you have time check out Dragalia Lost and compare its resource and stamina system to see what I mean I think you guys could learn a lot! It’s difficult to work on a game, especially when you constantly hear from random people who just complain and gripe. Great job Bandai Namco!First, I just want to say that I love Digimon. So I may be biased here. But I am loving this game so far! If you stumbled upon this review and you haven’t got this game yet, I’ll answer three main concerns I’ve read in the reviews. I’m taking into consideration the fact that the game released less than a week ago (at the time of writing this). A one star review I saw mentioned about how “only certain Digimon evolve”. Yes, this is a gacha game. Pretty much all of them have some sort of systems where only some awaken. DBZ Dokkan Battle, FFBE, you name it. If you don’t like gacha games, you might not enjoy it. Second, I’ve seen some reviews talking about the loading times. It’s to be expected that a game with a lot of data has some longer loading times. Even some games on consoles have some long loading screens. Lastly, the bugs. Yes, this gamehas bugs. But what game doesn’t? Especially a recently released game. To conclude, this is a phenomenal game. When I heard a few months ago the previous Digimon app was shutting down, I was kind of sad, but knew they would release a new game that was even better within the next year or so. Another Mobile Game with mindless Grinding and Auto BattlesStory. This game puts together a promising story that may be the greatest highlight. I want to say that if you remember Digimon Tamers, the story closely draws a lot of its inspiration from there, which brings digimon closer to recapturing that spirit that the franchise used to have. AutoPlay Battle. One of the tropes that I have grown to really dislike in mobile games is the AutoBattle function. Some games really abuse this, while for others this kind of makes the purpose of “battling” meaningless. Thankfully many new mobile games are learning from this and shying away. If we’re going by style, I would prefer the turn-based system of the last game: DigimonLinks. If there is one aspect that I dislike the most is the linear Digivolving process. I get it. Gotcha Game=money, great! What sets Digimon apart from other digital pet franchises (not mentioning any names) is the NON-LINEAR evolution process that is determined by HOW YOU RAISE YOUR DIGIMON! Whether your Agumon digivolved to Greymon or Numemon would be determined by how you raised it. The problem is that this game determines that all for you when you DRAW a digimon. Way to take the game AWAY from the players! Also why wouldn’t you have the Mega level CORES determine the Digivolving pattern, instead of having multiple versions of the same Agumon? Had be briefly..I was interested when I learned meicoomon was in it. Ultimately deleted it shortly after to learn that the only way to get her was to have been playing from the end of October to early November. After that, she has been removed summoning entirely. Plus you apparantly have to get lucky to get a version that can even be digivolved to mega level. No thanks. I could understand getting lucky to get optimal stats that wouldn’t require a player to have to invest in training their mon for days and days on end and having increased skill levels that wouldn’t require having to otherwise summon multiple to upgrade. Pretty goodA solid game with no wildly bad features. I do find it rather strange that you can categorize your group into Friendly, Relaxed, Casual (which are all basically the same exact thing) and Serious, but can’t filter the group search for those specific kinds of groups. I also find the battle system in PvP to be really irritating if the battle lasts more than 12 seconds. In many situations where there are ~2 digimon on either side, the opponent suddenly gets 7 free hits on me before my turn, which passes much too quickly to allow another barrage of attacks my way. I lose in matchups that I shouldn’t because of this. Shock is also extremely overpowered. I am sick of getting seemingly even matchups, then having half my team shocked, forced to wait for the opponent to literally use all their skills before I can attack again. I like it but not in depth enoughI had the original game in the 90s trained a lot of monsters had fun with it me and my brother battled all the time heck I still have my original Digimon digital Pat at home. But this game here feels like they streamlined it and you don’t get attached to these monsters it feels to Pokémon and kind of like all the other mobile games it’s very light on the original style I like the updated graphics and everything like that and I like that your monsters don’t die because I make you feel terrible because after all the work you do they croak but I would like to have like a little set up that it’s a little monster walks around on your phone and not needing to put in my phone sideways and 100% working on it if they can make it have a little more of a Stalgia feelThat’ll work better.Runaway11189Version: 2.1.0

My opinion of Digimon reAriseThe game is really f2p friendly for a lot of people I really want this app to become successful it’s going the right way from pvp I would like for the players to pick who to attack other than that the rewards for doing pvp is really good and I hope they keep going forward to make pvp enjoyable and make it fun to do pvp, story mode is kinda like watching an anime it’s really good in my opinion. Farming materials for your digimon is not that bad you just need stamina and to wait when the material is available. One thing I do have a problem with is when the game freeze on the loading screen if they find a way to fix it would make playing the game more enjoyable. Regarding DigivolutionI really enjoyed playing this game for 2 weeks. After that i didnt really liked the concept of getting new digimon for a mega evolution, while i have been spending lot of resource, upgrading plugins, bond to a digimon whose evolution is ultra. I cannot upgrade a digimon to ultra, then get a new digimon for mega, spend lot of bits, resourses again and again. I recommend if you can add mega evolution to the digimon whose final digivolution is ultra, so that we dont have to do it all over which is boring , time consuming and the team is hard to form. Other then that, i am a huge digimon fan. I have been playing bandai namco games over pc, playstation, nintendo ds. I finished digimon cybersleuth hackers memory which was in ps4, and as soon as i found digimon(bandai) in app store, i didnt hesitate to download....I know the mob game cannot be as good as the playstation, but cudos of bringing digimon to smart phone....SoulayushspiritVersion: 1.3.0

Good once you get what’s happening, #DigiGods#DigiGods. It’s a good game, but there’s a lot going on here. Dive in, give it a while to get how it works, then judge it. If you go into this game thinking you’ll get the hang of it quick, your mistaken. It’s like planting a flower, give it some time, do the missions, complete tasks, then you’ll be on your way to #DigiGods. It’s not just a tag, it’s a way of life, lol. But seriously give it a chance, it grows on you. I know people complain about timeout issues, not getting who you want and things things like that, but all games have the same problems and issues when the first bring it out. As of right now they provide the game currency easily, the summon egg gives you 1-2 megas, even the purchase egg is a mega. It’s not bad. If you want another good game where you can actually move around characters to fight for you then get sword art online, if you want a farming app get smurfs village, if you want a matching game with tons of unlockables get Disney emoji blitz, if u want the best racing game get Mario cart. The Spirals were being mind controlled, and were liberated after the final battle. Years later you play as the son/daughter of The cub tamer and Michi. When the illegal genocide act of Spiral Hunting resurfaces you go to investigate, but instead you find something extremely rare. A young boy named Roro (or as he referres to himself Roromon) who is somehow one third Spiral, one third Digimon, and one third human. He tells you that the Spirals are being controlled again, and that he is immune. Friendly battle function or clan raidsI want to be have a function where i am able to fight my friend i am a og player along withy friend we pre-ordered the game and ever since battle park came out we wanted to do a friendly battle between eachother we are aware that in the actual battle park you don’t actually fight against live players you fight a AI controlling the opposing team in the near future could you guys please consider a friend battle mechanic where its just for fun or clan raids which level up your clan to get rewards it could really put a purpose for players to participate and help each other grow. Targeting/auto attacksThe game is fun so far, but it does get annoying having to repeat missions to get three stars when one of the star requirements is to defeat the sub boss with a special skill. If I use my special skill on the last round when there are multiple enemies present, the skill always hits something other than the sub boss. If I try to wait to use it, one of my Digimon will beat the sub boss with an auto attack. It would be nice if we could select targets to attack or get rid of the auto normal attacks so that doesn’t happen. There should be another button added to control the use of normal attacks when not in auto battle mode. Likewise, there should be away to select targets to avoid spending all of your energy to get a 3 star rating due to the random targeting..Soldo sociologistsVersion: 1.0.5

Amazing Game! Read for an awesome idea!From what I have been playing it has been a blast, as a huge follower of Digimon. Not only do you have a great chance in getting Renown digimon like Veedramon and Agumon, but many others as well. The only thing I would like to see implemented is having the Digiwalk app for the Apple Watch. It would be fun being able to interact with the partner digimon without having to open up the app and waiting 3-4 minutes while everything loads. Good until I lost my accountThe game has fun features to it but it holds a glaring oversight, if you uninstall the game on ios then reinstall it later without going to a settings page that it NEVER tells you about then go to start the game expecting it to auto log you in based on your device you'll be utterly disappointed to find all your progress is gone with no option to recover it if you have opened the game. if a developer has a way for me to get my account back I would gladly be open to play the game further but unfortunately this has heavily soured my opinion of the game as this is a massive oversight if it isn’t possible to recover said data.IxamasVersion: 1.3.1

ProblemsWhile this game is rather fun and easy to get ahold of there are major flaws to which the app experiences. Some of which is loading and crashing problems and how often they happen. But the main thing is that the Battle Park is completely unfair, there is no level Max for the ranking so that if you do not have the bits or chips to level your digimon up to the same level as the opposing team then you will never win. As well as me and those I know that play this game are getting rather tired of how utterly over powering Wargreymon is, it is too the point that even at the lowest level they can one shot just about any digimon..AJ, NovaVersion: 1.0.5

Great gameWonderful game with a lot of fun digimon and a easy to follow game layout... There are a few quality of life fixes that would be nice... 1) a feeding option for when you’re feeding your digimon multiple food for leveling them up, right now you have to keep swiping and that could e tiresome a few houndred into one digimon, a quantity feeding option would be nice! 2) shop deals! Are none existing... not saying you have to put money in the game... but if you were going to then it’s always the same prices, which broken down is $35 for 1 multi-summon or $85 for 3 multi-summons... it always seems like to much... 3) please upgrade shop for putting money in... Better deals Add special limited amount of certain deals to each customer if it’s a good deal Include skill shards or any material that can help your digimon go past 99! One of the best so farMy god this is amazing. There have been a lot of digimon app games that always get taken down cause there fun at first then die put quickly and get removed but this,this one is gonna do well its got good story good graphic battles are balanced and its fairly easy to get materials for digi-evolution (however you run out of bits fairly quickly and need to stock up if you want to get to required levels) only other downside are the loading screens theres just to many but yet the game is so addicting and fun that it doesn’t bother me can't wait to see what you guys do next..IwbeesVersion: 1.0.5

Gorgeous and Fun, if you can playThe game has fantastic graphics for a mobile game, and the gameplay system is fun with just enough interesting stuff. However, older phones beware. I'm running this on a 5S and cannot progress further into Arc 4. The game crashes Everytime I try to play the battles. Dimensional Vortexes are impossible, as I cannot play one without crashing. One saving Grace the developers attempted to put in was a "Resume battle" should the game crashes. This helped me for a while, and it means your stamina and DigiRubies are not wasted in battle. The amount of resumes seems infinite, but it does not help if the battles themselves keep crashing Everytime on startup. I love Digimon to death, but the fact that I can barely play this game on my 5S is disappointing. I can somewhat focus on the other features, but I am locked out of the time-gated stuff thanks to the crashing preventing me from acquiring my needed resources. I'm keeping this at a 3 Star, as the game seems like it'd be fun for a newer phone. Get what you expect, maybe more!I’ve been looking forward to a Digimon app game for a while. It feels almost like a natural move: Digital Monsters, in the digital age, WOULD move to a smartphone instead of needing a separate v-pet. This is a major improvement over the last Digimon phone game Bandai released! I legit enjoy this one. One of the things I really like about it is that the gacha machine is divided; if you don’t need plugins (Equips), there’s no chance of getting them in your Digimon lot. Step-Up Summons that guarantee at least one Mega are also really nice. Finally, grinding is made a lot easier due to a fluid auto mode. That said, it’s not perfect. One thing I’d like to see, for example, is a greater variety of common Digimon (I’ve skill maxed most of mine already). The ability to trade DGV codes with friends would also be very cool, as sometimes you’re only one short. Just thoughts. It’s definitely worth tossing a coin to your game devs; they deserve it. Fun but needs a targeting systemSome of the objectives that you need to complete to get three stars on a level need you to kill The sub boss with a special. The game doesn’t tell you how to fill it just says it fills up throughout the battle but from playing it seems like kills and using special moves are the only way to fill it but even then it’s not consistent sometimes skills do fill the special bar other times it doesn’t. And do to there Being no targeting system most of the time your digimon’s skills hit and kill the sub boss before you can even fill the special bar. Gacha… Could Be BetterTl;dr: neat game with a good story ruined by gacha. I’m conflicted because I’m new to Digimon, enjoy the universe and the story, but wish the game wasn’t gacha and an overly busy and convoluted UI and money system. I’m taking a star off because of gacha. There’s so much potential for this game to be more than a money grab. Give me Cyber Slueth for $20-40 and I’m a fan. Give me gacha, I’m paying as little to nothing because I don’t want to support the gacha aspect. Would love to monetarily support all other aspects of the game and IP. Absolutely AmazingI have been playing this game nonstop since I downloaded it. It has such promise to be one of the best games on the App Store. There’s so much to do, and the graphics are amazing. The interactions with all of your Digimon are incredible and always keep you coming back for more. Although it does have a few glitches, that is understandable seeing as how it’s a new game. Great Game One Problem?I enjoy the game for it just being Digimon based and very well excited about playing it. The only issue I have about the game is that I haven’t even had the game downloaded for long and it won’t load me into the game. Iphone 11 User - GREATStraight up, this game is a lot of fun. The strategy involved with knowing what each Digimon can provide to your team in terms of Passive Skills, & their Main/Sub Skills makes this a game requiring practice & attention to build the best strategy. I see everyone reporting that it crashes, I’ve never had this issue...... My only complaint would be that the Digi-Ruby currency is rewarded too rigidly, meaning if you complete a task you get a fixed amount, always. It would be better if you were able to be get bonus’ for preforming well, dealing massive damage, surviving by one turn, etc... They do this for mission rewards with a 3-star system but the Main currency “Digi-Ruby’s” isn’t awarded in this way, its usually set to just 5 Rubys per mission no matter what you do. Also the cost to collect Digi-Codes to Digivolve the strongest Digimons is wayy to high. The type-attribute codes are awards commonly, but Monster-Specific codes are most easily acquired by purchase and the currency isn’t collect quickly at all. I played for two weeks & it seems I only made progress because of the “New User” buffs/login rewards. If I don’t want to PAY for anything its going to take MONTHS to acquire the Digimon evolution lines that I want & then Digivolve them into their Mega stage. This kills the game because until you get those “Mega-Mons” the game is really hard with little rewards, then once you do get a Mega-Mon it feels like instant kill on all enemies because its so overpowered as a reward to you for “the grind”. So you basically one-hit everything for hours at a time while you’re grinding to get Currencies to summon more mega evolution lines.... that you will have to keep grinding through one-hit kills to earn more currency for the codes to Digivolve what you summon..Marcus Hill93Version: 2.2.1

A game with potentialI play this game everyday and my main complaints would be the loading time between screens, whether its going to the missions or the raids. Going from any screen there is unnecessary loading times. They could make the missions/ challenges screens mini screens that pop up same with the friends, digi guild, and news screens to save screen time. The most unnecessary is the 3 star missions where they keep switching it up from special to main to sub making us waste time and going back to re do these missions to get the 3 star quota. Three star missions should be like finish in x amount of time, no units death, and maybe something like specific Digimon type. My biggest issue is the gem - summon system. 200 gems for 11 summons and you almost never, and i mean almost never get a rainbow pull. I play everyday and I try my best to rack up the gems only to be completely disappointed in my work when i get absolutely nothing worth adding to the team. If they could figure out a better gem format and work something for the rates this game could be much better. What does increasing the rates do besides get players to be more into the game? Either way. It’s a good game that needs a tremendous amount of work and revisions across all fields. Another GatchaTwo stars for the awesome digimon and animations. Negative three stars for the grind, the pay to win, and the abusive and unholy battle park that is their PVP. This mode is how you make premium in game currency and consequently how you get a chance to have a chance to obtain the newest and best digimon. PVP started out great but now a days no matter how much you build your mons up and equip them with “plug ins” (stat boosters) and maximize their levels - the game will find a team of equal or stronger level. But that’s not the issue, the issue is when faced against these teams - the opposing AI controlled team will have massive advantages in attacks properly targeting your weakest/support mons meanwhile your attacks get flung randomly all over hell. Because you can not select the targets for your own mon’s attack - it’s as if the AI scripts which attacks need to go where just so the opposing team can land a killing blow when necessary. Illusion of choice is always the strongest deception. After these recent updates I fear how on Earth new players progress under these conditions meanwhile players from the start like me are finding it increasingly difficult. TLDR: STAY AWAY unless you’re ready to devote a quarter to half a day of your time to remaining competitive in this game. Great game with Lousy Support and ExpensiveI’ve been playing since release, and I have always loved the show. The game is good so far, although the prices for gems are ridiculous. So much potential, but RNG’d to death.The main PVP in this game is broken. Doesn’t matter how hard you grind, cause opponents at the top ranks will always do more damage and have their status effects go off at a higher percentage. They also specifically attack certain Digimon, and the status effects go off on the ones that haven’t used their skills yet. This leaves you with no skills left to use, while the enemy destroys your team. Even when the opponent gets affected by status effects, they end much faster. In the main story, there are so many things you can’t control, where they put in missions such as “defeat the main boss with a main skill” but your mons will kill them with counters...repeatedly. Good game but few flawsEver since this game came out I’ve been enjoying it nonstop. But there are a few things that makes this game hardly enjoyable anymore: 1. NO CHAT SYSTEM!! 2. There is no point for friends if we can only use their rep mon and that’s it. Also top players can solo everything so what is the need for friends? It makes no sense for there not to be a chat system in this game. With a chat system we can be part of a community. The guild has no reason to exist if it’s only for clash battles. I rather have guilds fight each other or some other function for guilds than just clash battles. Friends already can help just as better than a guild can. For guilds to contribute to clash battles or raids have the digimon have way more health than regular clash battles or up the level past 10 on clash battles / raids for guild to better contribute. Along with this is NO FUNCTION TO RECRUIT PLAYERS TO GUILD. I really want to recruit players than having to find a almost full guild to join. “It’s not our app, it’s your device”That was the response they gave me when I contacted them regarding the crashing. I filed a ticket and they gave me trouble shooting options. I had already done them but I went ahead and did them all again to say that I did. Didn’t fix it. As such we believe that the reported situation arose due to factors specific to your device, its available RAM and/or network environment. Even if your device is above the requirements required to play the application, the application may not function normally due to factors such as the unique properties of certain devices.” I find it hard to believe that so many people are having the same problem and it not be an issue arising from the app itself. There is 0 incentive to play the game because the chances of getting a featured Digimon that can digivolve into a mega is lower than Satan’s bum. Super Buggy. Not worth it.I’ve had tons of issues with the app crashing, and infinite loading screens, and so have many people here too (read the reviews). I tried clearing my cache, and that did nothing to fix the issue. I then deleted and reinstalling the game, and that didn’t fix the issue either. This also deleted my user which I was not aware of. I reached out to support to troubleshoot the crashes, and possibly get my account back. They told me that the crashing issues were with my phone, and they couldn’t find my account, despite the wealth of information that I gave them. I’m ok with losing my account, but how is my phone at fault when tons of people are having the same issue??? Disappointed...In the beginning, this game was actually really fun. I enjoyed the grind and even after I hit the endgame, it wasn’t too bad. Sadly, the endgame also includes getting the latest and greatest digimon so you can continue. I’ve spent a good amount of time grinding gems and trying to summon those high tier digimon and the drop rates are just so bad. Or my luck is just super bad. Don’t know. It’s heartbreaking to dump all of that time and effort into earning something only to face the disappointment of yet again walking away with basically nothing.
