Fitness Coach - Workout Plan App Comments & Reviews

Fitness Coach - Workout Plan Positive Reviews

Good workouts but not enough explanation on formI like this app, but compared to the Nike training app, they don’t really explain your form for workouts. I’ve only been using it for 3 days but so far the workouts don’t explain anything. It’s just silence during the reps or seconds. Even the most challenging workouts on the Nike app explain the form, where to tighten your muscle, keep a flat back, where you should feel the burn, etc etc. it’s crucial to know these things to get the best workout. Also, the workouts that are being recommend to me often have equipment I don’t have at home, so I’m left scrambling trying to find an alternative or just using nothing. For the price you pay a week there needs to be more fine tuning for your specific needs. I might go back to Nike, as their interface design is simply unparalleled. But I got bored of using the same app and wanted to try something new, so I’ll give this a few weeks and see if it gets better..Version: 2.4.2

Good app, could use some expansionI have been on a weight loss journey for a while, and found this app. It’s low in cost and has helped me lose weight. The only problem I have is that it asks me to choose what gym equipment I have. I currently have a 2 in one treadmill and bench press. I have not bought dumbbells yet, but every exercise included some things I don’t have. Even then I do feel that the app has other good qualities. It’s workouts do help with things that your focused on. I would download the app, but I’d I had a choice between a personal trainer/gym membership and this app, I would choice the gym membership. The big reason why I use this app is because it’s cheap. I gym membership in my town is 25 dollars a month. I am currently in collage, and do not have time to work another job, go to classes, and go the gym. This app is ok for a beginners, but after 4-5 months I would consider anybody who is not in my situation to just go the the gym. Ps. This is not meant to hurt the makers of this app, it is a suggestion for almost all fitness apps I have used. Most of the time the autogenerated classes can’t follow what you actually need. If you the time and money and want a home gym, buy peloton..Version: 2.11.1

Good Fast WorkoutsI’m kind of surprised by all of the recent negative reviews. There are a lot of features in this app. I really like that you can go with their plan for you or you can randomly decide to do something else. The workouts you can build from are good and well thought out. They can be difficult. If you are not used to HIIT training or calisthenics then you may think the workouts are strange or not worth it for some reason. I don’t understand this. One reviewer said they are “fake” workouts. I have been doing similar routines although less structured on my own and have had good results. I am happy to have an app to keep things organized and keep my workouts fresh. The instructional videos for each exercise are really awesome as well. So far it’s been a good purchase I’m on week 3. Edit: You manage subscriptions inside of your Apple ID in settings. You can cancel the subscription outside of the app. This is not uncommon, don’t blame the developer because you don’t know how to use your phone or google things..Version: 2.0.5

Pretty dopeI got premium thinking, “if I’m paying for it, I’ll probably have to do it more often” and that is honestly what got me going. I like that after each workout I can’t rate how I’m feeling. I also like the set up of the app. I’m able to navigate it fairly easy. I also like that I can go at the pace of the person guiding it. I honestly don’t rate apps because it’s just not something i appeal to but this one deserves it. I genuinely like this app a lot and it’s helping me stay in shape really well. I’m just trying to stay fit and get somewhat toned. When I tell you, “I’m close to getting my abs back” I am 100 percent ecstatic. Anyways it’s a killer app, the intensity levels can be adjusted and I don’t usually get premium for apps, but this one kinda required it, and I know that’s kind of annoying but it has really good guidance and if you’re into dieting as well, this app has it. All in all, I highly recommend:). Good luck with your workout journeys and have a good day everyone:))..Version: 2.2.7

Love Love LoveJust Great ! Hoping for a cheap yearly special though. But I will continue to use this app. On day 5 of 3 of my challenges.. Great for moms , short 5 minute workouts & more etc .. The meals show you the pictures of the ingredients and simple recipes. I pair it to my Apple Watch and can control the workouts from the watch.. I can’t do that with any other program I have tried so far. I love the custom training, stretching, workouts that was pretty awesome. The Challenges are so easy and definitely challenges you to do more. I love how my goal of steps was already at 12,000 steps. I am still on the free trial and will be exploring more of the app. Can’t wait ! So far 5 stars. Check it out .. Hope you enjoy!!! So I read some of the negative reviews.. nothing negative about the App , just people didn’t like the cost. I choose the premium monthly rate . Not bad ! Cheaper than a gym and I don’t have to wear a mask to workout .. Thought I would give my opinion.. Have a great day!.Version: 2.2.9

Great workout plans BUT.....I’m being very nice and giving it a 3/5. The work outs are great and the apps ability to track your work outs is awesome. Sadly here’s where it loses 2 stars maybe 3 if I wanted to be really critical. The app loads fine but the workouts for me only load half of the time. Most of the time if I’m able to even “finish” the work out it’s saying that I finished a 30 minute workout in 8 minutes. Most of my time is spent just trying to get the workouts to actually load and start like they are supposed to. This is very hard and discouraging for someone who is naturally lazy and just now finally working out after this long quarantine. Don’t get me wrong I have enjoyed the app and gotten some good workouts in the last few days since I started using it BUT I am paying for this service and the fact that it doesn’t even load or keep track of half of my workouts is pretty annoying. I would love to do the special daily workouts but they don’t even open for me. I really hope this problem is solved so I can continue to use the app..Version: 2.2.9

Pretty good - sweating afterwards butI couldn’t get the app to load Trainer Fanny (she has less choosing her to train & this may be why - so had to switch to Sandra). I did enjoy the warmup & workout & I do like the fact that I can sub one exercise for another. The sub choices were Easier, Recommended, Harder. You can de-select equipment that you don’t have - not sure if that changes the workout to fit what you have/don’t have. BUT during the Sessions the Countdown exercises move to the Rep exercises but you have to count your Reps AND you have to manually switch to the next Rep exercise; there’s no rep countdown & doesn’t automatically switch to the next for you which I didn’t like so much… I wanted to watch the trainer, synchronize my movements as best as I could, and get into the zone with my form & my music. IMO the reps should count down either verbally or at least on screen - or at least have the option to choose that - and a person should only have to tap pause if they need more time. I chose beginner bc I haven’t worked out in yearss and just assumed the trainers would have moved at an easier pace & if I needed more time i’d pause it to complete the exercise but that’s not the case. There’s no explanation of form, the camera angles switch a bit much which changes the synchronized fluidity of the trainer’s movements. Hopefully they read these and can improve on it!.Version: 2.6.6

After years of great performance this app is now very buggyI've used the app for years, and find it a great way to motivate a rigorous and all round fitness regime. There are a wide range of workouts/challenges/tracking options. For someone keen to keep a routine up between a busy work and family life, it really is a great option. The integration with the yoga, running and other apps is great, and I was recommending the app to friends and family. Recently though it has become super buggy. I've tried reinstalling and a range of other fixes. My feeling is that if the team can get the app back to its previous performance it is a very competitive (five star) app. At the moment it is almost unusable. So see how it works on your system and let's hope it gets back its former glory!.Version: 2.12.1

Good 😊Some times you might get sweating but it’s a really good work out I think all of you people reading this straight here I think it’s up to ages 10 and up so you can try this I know you can do this I believe in you I don’t really understand the meals on this app but other than that it’s good you need to keep healthy drink lots of water eat a lot of healthy meals and I think you’ll be all right sometimes it might push you a little farther but that’s the goal and sometimes it might not push you far enough show me about you may have to adjust your settings but it’s a good app and I think a lot of other people should have this app if you’re trying to look your best!😊😊😊😊😊.Version: 2.7.15

A great app so far!I am participating in the three day trial to see how I like the style of workouts it offers, and so far it is challenging but in a good way. My one gripe would be that there is no way to get a certain move within the circuit substituted. There are times when I can’t put too much pressure on my hands or I don’t have a wall available to me that the workout requires and I would have to skip it and this I feel like I’m not really completing the workout. Besides that I love the workouts, I also love the food suggestions, and how it has a lot of health stuff like water as well all in one app..Version: 2.3.2

Stop putting reviews that rate the price instead of the actual app. This app is a great app. Yet, I wouldn’t download it. I’m here to explain that, you can’t dislike the app because it’s not free. Like, I understand you want it to be free so you can engage in it but not liking it because it’s not free is very dumb. It’s not a logical reason to not like the app. The app doesn’t provide free applications, and not everything in life is free. Giving bad reviews because of it is really immature. The app is a great workout app and whether you can experience it or not, is not how you rate it. It’s the features in the subscription/app. Nobody said this was free. It’s your fault for assuming..Version: 2.5.4

Good ButThe fitness coach app was good don’t get me wrong. The workouts were easy it was good at showing what to do but when I was going to do my second day to work out, it tried to force me to do a free trial in no matter what I tried to do to try to get out of it I couldn’t do my work out or do any of the other challenges without a thing popping up saying that I have to sign up for the free trial to do and continue my work out. It was good but I can’t continue without having to do a free trial and I don’t want to do a free trial if I did want to, I would be able to continue, but, I don’t want to do a free trial. I just want to work out and better myself..Version: 2.12.14

Hard to view daily workout videosI decided to try out the free trial and wasn’t put off by the 4.99 subscription fee. But once I tried my first workout I noticed that the only way to view the actual workout it wants you to do is to watch a very small thumbnail that was only available from the main screen. Once I selected to begin the workout I was not able to see the actual moves anywhere which is fine I am sure for those who know these moves already but not so much for someone just starting out. I canceled my subscription for now and will continue to look for something else..Version: 1.4.16

Worth the feedMost of the reviews are saying that they are upset because of subscription fees but honestly I’ve been doing it for 3 weeks and it’s definitely worth it. I feel great after every session and I feel that it’s worth the money that I paid. I’m glad that this is working the way I expected it to. I only wish that the people in the reviews could get over the small fee. Most other fitness apps aren’t free either so I don’t see the issue. Over all, great app and I would totally recommend to friends and family..Version: 1.4.16

Amazing!!I’ve tried multiple apps before, I never could go through with them. But this app, wow. I love tracking what I eat, and my water intake. And the recipes are amazing, I have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I’ve never been more proud in myself for keeping it. Even though there are different body types and different plans work best. I feel this one is doing wonders for me, I feel more energetic even. I feel fresh, and I’m more motivated to drink water. I’m going on the free version. I haven’t gone down from 155 for month until I had this app. Thank you..Version: 2.10.3

Best free work out guideThis is by far the best workout planner because it’s free and helps with tracking steps, water intake, and even meal planning. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is that there is no way to customize the food plans beyond what type you eat (vegan, Paleo, vegetarian, etc.). It just gives you food and how to make it, but if you have the time to go shopping and make the food, then it’s definitely a 5/5 app. I would recommend it..Version: 2.11.1

Recipes are getting a lil weirdI mostly use this app for the healthy meal recommendations, but the recipes are getting weirder and weirder. I’m not sure if these are because of spelling mistakes or if the dishes are just too elevated for me? But I’m supposed to be making a “Buddha Bowl Thon” with “rapeseed oil” (please tell me it’s grape seed). Some of the recipes have these very pretentious names with ingredients they don’t sell in my grocery store. And I can’t go back to the recipes I used from the first few weeks because it just shows recipes for the current week..Version: 2.3.2

This is amazing!!!This app is amazing! It gives you workouts based on your schedule and body type. I’ve only had it for two weeks and I’m already seeing changes!!! The only critique I have is that maybe true meal plan could be free to everyone depending on how long it will take to get to their goal. Maybe if it takes half a heart then pay for the meal plan but if it’s something like two months make if free. Otherwise, if you’re trying to lose weight, this app is for you!.Version: 2.2.6

Great app still lets you do things without premiumGreat app!! Just started using it and it has a perfect pace for your workouts and a great quiz at the beginning to target you and your goals. Helps we stay motivated and be consistent and is even FUN! you can still do your daily workouts without the premium and can still look at the premium workouts without it and do them without the step-by-step workout interactive video 👍.Version: 2.12.8

Not very friendlyThere are two ways the app measures a workout, personal counting & a timer. I started a workout and did the 1st set of 20 they wanted but didn’t realize I had to hit forward to get to the next workout. The next workout was timed. With the app being silent; there was no indication on time other than constantly looking at the screen. I would look up and it’s a totally different workout. The meal plan was a bonus, but it would be better if there were some sort of shopping list. It’s not a user friendly app. It’s got potential but lacks basic functionality..Version: 2.2.1

It’s ok. Few bugs to take care of.Gave it 4 stars , since the app is helpful in keeping track of the day to day goal one sets. But when trying to do other workouts outside the “ goal plan”. It won’t record the workout. And on top of that. I’ve been doing the 30 day squat challenge . And today is my last day. But the app, won’t upload the last session. But overall app is fine. Just a few bugs they got to tinker with..Version: 2.6.6

Good so far, but buggyMy first workout went off without a hitch! But unfortunately the next two did not. For some reason the app does not have any way to count “reps” like for pushups, and so you have to skip when you’re done. But if it’s the last thing to do in the workout, it gets stuck at 99%! And it doesn’t count as a result. You cannot resume either as it crashes, and restarting just eventually puts you back where you started. To clarify, the workouts themselves are good, but the app is not always as such....Version: 2.6.6

AmazingDefinitely one of the best workout apps out there it actually makes me sweat and out of all of the workout apps I’ve tried this has very similar features but out of all of them this one leaves me using the break instead of skipping it the only issue I have with it is there is some workouts you need weights and things like but don’t let that push you away it still is a amazing app that I am planning to use every day.Version: 2.7.9

Try this!I have this downloaded on multiple devices and I have had this for a few years now. Let’s get realistic though, your not gonna get abs a month or two after using this and your not going to be the most buff person ever but this is a good beginning for that. This app gives you advice and motivation and honestly it’s just a lot of fun! This app can be used for muscle gain, relaxation, diets, etc. just try this out!.Version: 2.12.14

Fitness Coach is Great ButIn my opinion Fitness Coach is great and the fees are no problem for me, the only problem i have to say is that im new to the app & I am unfamiliar with some of the exercises it would be helpful if they added the video of the exercise to every exercise and not just some. Im not sure if its a bug or just a problem on my phone or if its the app i wish they would fix that would make me complete the workouts so much easier but other than that its a great app!.Version: 1.4.16

Love love LOVE!!I started using this app to get fit for cheerleading, I was shocked by how many questions it asked about my weight and height. (In a good way) I was also shocked by how it’s FREE for a lot of workouts a day!! To get access to other workouts it does cost but I don’t need those extra workouts because of the questions they asked me, they assigned me my own workouts to achieve the goal I’ve been wanting!.Version: 2.9.1

Really good but I have some adviceI’m 13 and I did this for about 2 weeks so far after 5 minutes I’m sweating but just don’t do hard workouts while going through growing pains if you are my age do the light workouts if you are going through growing pains I learned the hard way other than that it’s not this program it’s the Normal stage. This app is not like others it’s great!.Version: 2.7.9

Very encouraging and helpfulWhenever I’m offline for more than a week they give me encouraging notifications that really cheer me up. The program is extremely helpful even if you’re not paying! It was so helpful that it made me as male under 18, loose about 4 pounds in less than a week and I still don’t get how it was possible.💪🏽.Version: 2.12.13

It’s okay, but the previews don’t loadI like the structure of the app, I’m fine with paying for it which you have to do right off the bat. The titles of some exercises are odd. For example? What the heck is a crepe move??? I can’t cancel my subscription though, and if charges me $20 a month. So, that’s not ideal. Would like to figure out how to cancel the subscription inevitably, but for now, I’m mostly enjoying app. Just not enough features for the price. Like just make the icons load and I’d be happier..Version: 1.4.16

Fitness coachI love this. I have tried so many workout apps and apps that can help me but non work and make me feel like I got my money worth. But fitness coach does when I first open the app was not really excited but then I started to actual asking me questions like what I want to work on. How long I want to work on it. It was just so great and I would share it to my family and friends..Version: 1.4.16

Best fitness app out thereThis app is very easy to manage and in a way does encourage you to keep up the work and stay motivated to staying in shape. I personally think that this app is going to change my mindset and keep me in shape. I am a sophmore in high school and I plan on sticking with this program till my senior year and I’m excited to see the results..Version: 2.12.8

Not Worth itI would give it a way higher rating but I didn’t because you have to pay for something just get in shape and the app looks amazing but only if you didn’t have to pay or you could choose not to because there are people trying to get in shape and you have to pay just to do so. I really trusted this app but like others you have to pay in order to get fit. That is just sad.Version: 2.12.11

GoodishStop with the notifications.Version: 2.12.8

Rethink. You should rethink your advertisement plan, advertising incorrectly is illegal and also just think about all the people who got excited for your app and never used it because it costs too much. Broke people wanna feel good about them selves and their bodies too... I would adore to gain some muscle on my sad lil bones but seemingly we never have a simple app where you should purchase new workouts instead of having a “membership”. Maybe think about it... have a workout for the core and bum and a workout for the arms an legs n purchase everything else... idk just a hunch. Sucks your app was so amazingly laid out and I have financial issues atm n cannot use. :) looked fun.Version: 2.2.8

AppThe cost could be a bit cheaper ngl.Version: 2.7.13

Great app, little bit priceyIf you have the money, absolutely go for it. challenges you and progress will come.Version: 1.4.16

Very good program but many issue with the subscriptionThe app is really good and it program too. But for the third time I have problems that make it impossible to use the premium subscription even when I have paid.Version: 2.12.12

Great appLoving this app. I actually do work out everyday now and enjoying it. I’ve tried other work out apps simulate to this and never really wanted to use them. And I’m not one for working out so that says a lot that I’m being decayed. The only thing I wish is that I could use the Canadian metric system. I’m sure other countries feel the same. If there is a way to change it it would be nice if it was easier. I went through the whole app and could not figure it out. I don’t go by kg I go by lb so it would be nice to make that switch easily..Version: 2.12.9

Okay Greta but oneee problem. This app would be 5 stars for sure… if You did not have ti pay for half of the things. I you want a specific workout for your targeted areas… you have to pay, so that’s dumb. Otherwise good 4/5.Version: 2.10.2

The app:is so goodThis is the most amazing app!!!😁.I love this app I feel my healthier and good energy I got my dream body and I would rate this app out of 100!!❤️.Version: 2.12.2
