First timersThe set up has not been easy. There should be a check list of all the info a company will need to have on hand before they start the sign up process. I did not know all the different tax ID numbers I needed to set up a payroll so I had to keep stopping and starting. Also, when I can get tech support they have been great. Have not been able to useIt’s been 2 weeks and I have yet to be able to actually run payroll. Yet my account is active and I received an email saying everything was approved. I have spoken to multiple people who assured me in 48 hours I should be able to run payroll. It’s been 48 hours and still a no go. Do Not Get This App!!Firstly the app never worked for me, I gave them all my information and they said it would take a few days to approve. It never worked i messaged them it’s like talking to a wall. Even after getting in contact with them them my account still didn’t work.
Secondly I understand that this is an Ai app so I knew I was going to be talking with a chatbot, it would’ve been great if the chatbot can actually help you instead of giving generic answers, also another reason I got this app was that if you needed assistance you’d be able to contact support. It’s literally impossible to get in contact with support! I was only able to get to support after telling the chatbot I wanted to cancel my account /Subscription a bunch of times and I finally got a number. After calling I was on hold for over 1 hour before actually getting to talk to somebody. I really wanted this to work, maybe in the future they can fix all these issues but I wouldn’t recommend this it’s a waste of time..Kev90679bkVersion: 3.2.41
Not great for employeesMy company just started using this stupid app. I can see no way to access anything via a website or a windows app. I download all my pay statements to my computer. Don’t see a way to do that on this. Also not happy that there is no extra app security that I can set up such as facial recognition or whatever. Terrible experienceI am a S-Corp, and I tried using Roll to pay a salary to myself, the only employee. They told me I had to wire funds to them to cover the first payroll, and after I did, the customer service chat agents, which is the only way to get any help, wouldn’t verify the wire and told me the payroll was processed, even though it has never appeared in my account. All of my customer service interactions have been terrible, and I’m trying to track down the $15,000 they took from me. Do not recommend using this app..Dickie DubsVersion: 3.2.12
DO NOT USE!!!Please do not use Roll services. They missed two quarterly state filings and have cost me hundreds in penalties. They only answer via chat so you feel absolutely helpless when the government sends you an alarming letter. I wrote them in the chat and they simply said “Not showing a tax form for MN for 1Q23”. When I asked for them to deal with the issue immediately, he said that they will email me when they have more information.

No one around to helpI personally would not recommend this app. They say it is user-friendly, but it is not. It is actually far from it. I have had ADP payroll for about five years. but since I know longer have employees and only have contractors, you cannot use ADP payroll. You have to use Roll by ADP. Go with a different serviceI downloaded Roll by ADP because I wanted to run payroll for my S Corp. Intuit’s prices have been steadily increasing and this seemed like a good option based on YouTube reviews. I filled everything out, including sensitive financial information and power of attorney forms, then every time I logged in after that it started me from scratch as if I had never registered. I had an email from my bank confirming that Roll was connected to my business account. I emailed customer service because my two help chats in the app were not helpful. Customer service said they had no record of my name or my company. The next day, all of my corporate information appeared properly in the app, but it repeatedly says that they are still finalizing my company setup and to try again in a few minutes. This has now been going on for a day and a half. Not sure when those few minutes will end… This concept has so much potential, but it simply doesn’t work in its current form.
