Eh… awesome when it works, infuriating when it doesn’tAt first I expected the Apple Watch to connect to the DaftCloud app on my Mac for a seamless experience. I was wrong. To sign in to SoundCloud, it basically makes the Watch run Safari. Terrible idea, tiny buttons made it difficult to navigate and handwriting my password wasn’t convenient in the slightest. However now that I’m in, everything seems to be working well. I’m a big fan of the user interface of this app, but if the setup process was a bit less troublesome, I would definitely recommend this app to anyone using SoundCloud. But even the app isn’t always functional. It’s a 50-50 chance of it wanting to connect with my AirPods automatically or not. When it doesn’t, it’s stuck loading and the only way to fix it is force restarting the watch. This is something that makes me want to steer clear of this app at times. Overall I don’t think this app is worth its asking price. The setup process is unoptimized, and the app doesn’t even work sometimes!.Brilliant SamVersion: 1.0.28

It’s alright, could be a bit betterI don’t like the fact you can’t use your iPhone to directly log into the SoundCloud part and it does take a while to load but when everything works perfectly, it’s like your using SoundCloud from your phone. It Works WellAs others have mentioned, logging into SoundCloud is an ordeal. But I believe the developer when they say there’s nothing anyone but SoundCloud can do about it. It is what it is. Aside from that everything works well enough—my playlists played instantly—and it’s wonderful to be able to listen to SoundCloud on my Apple Watch. Better than nothingJust got an Apple Watch and was disappointed there isn’t a SoundCloud app. I bought the watch for running and I listen to SoundCloud mixes when I run. Eventually I reluctantly tried DaftCloud. The setup went fairly smoothly. And it works! Sometimes it can take a while for the song to actually start playing. But I am pleased to have a form of SoundCloud on the watch. My suggestions for the developer: Currently the Play icon shows while it is playing, which is actually the opposite of what SoundCloud does. When you are playing a track on SoundCloud it shows the Pause icon. So that is confusing and at first I was waiting and waiting for it to play, when it was paused. Also I would love the ability to click on the “playing track box” and that would show some more info and a “time/status bar” that would show you the time elapsed/remaining and allow you to jump around the timeline. BEST way to stream SoundCloud with Apple WatchLove this app! I have searched far and wide and DaftCloud (Wrist edition) is THE app to stream SoundCloud on Apple Watch using cellular data (without needing to have your phone on you). It’s really easy to set up...just download the DaftCloud Mac app and be sure iCloud sync is enabled so that the Watch can find your SoundCloud account, and boom you’re in business! It will port over your SoundCloud playlists and stream, and you can even save and repost tracks to your SoundCloud profile. The app developer is also very responsive and helpful!.J. Update: Happy to have a way to stream my favorite SoundCloud sets, but unfortunately the app is still quite buggy. Loses connection quite a bit, which wouldn’t be so terrible if at least you could continue and pick-up where you left off. After getting “kicked out”, you need to select what you want to hear again (and start from the beginning)- this is not conducive to an enjoyable experience, not to mention that it’s quite an inconvenience when you’re in the middle of a run or bike ride. Hoping the developer can sort this issue as well. Initial review: Can’t sign in on the watch. Keep getting message to “check the reCAPTCHA checkbox”, but so such box exists. Thus, the app is useless. Works for me!I’m not sure why everyone is so critical. They should be mad at Apple not the developer. Without this app I wouldn’t have access to my SoundCloud account. Of course I was hesitant at first to download the app based on the reviews, but I’ve had no issues so far. Pretty decentApp on Apple Watch runs pretty smooth. There are some bugs that occur sometimes but not enough to be annoying. I had some issues but was able to get them resolved when I emailed support. The Soundcloud Watch SolutionSoundCloud doesn’t support a stand alone watch app, but this does the trick! Can store all songs linked to your SC account (liked tracks, playlists, the weekly upload, etc) directly on your Apple Watch. Don’t need to be connected to the internet for playback. Sound not balanced on AirPodsLike the watch app! Great to play SoundCloud ad free from my wrist. One problem thought I was going deaf in right ear or right AirPod was dying. Really Nice App With Sign-in IssuesThanks for creating this app! It’s unfortunate the initial experience with the app, signing-in, is so frustrating. The app itself is well thought out and does what it claims to do. Listening to SoundCloud over cellular without an iPhone, cool! I understand some users may only have the watch, but because the Apple Watch screen is so small, the developer should have other options for users to sign in to their SoundCloud account. Maybe with the Mac app or use the Watch app on iPhone. I literally spent hours trying to sign-in unsuccessfully. Finally I managed to figure it out. The issue is the mini browser won’t allow scrolling to the bottom of webpages to tap necessary buttons . It’s nearly impossible to scroll a whole page to get to “Trust this browser?” when signing in with Apple using two-factor authentication. I wish I could spend more time reviewing the merits of the app, but this is a glaring user experience issue. The developer should try signing in with Apple using 2FA to see the issue for himself. As good as Official Soundcloud would have been!!Been using this app for about 2-3 weeks. Very simple and feature rich interface. I can play the latest stream from the artists I follow or just play my favourite playlists or the the tunes I liked. The best part is that you can scrub through the track just like on a phone. Pretty stable with my Series 6 Cellular watch . Now, I can finally utilize my watch data rather than just be dependent on Apple Music or Spotify subscriptions. Kudos to the dev. The only thing I found negative was that the previous & next track buttons aren't that responsive. Many a times have to hit them with a lot of precision. Kinda WorksFirst of all, I’m grateful that this app exists. The fact that SoundCloud doesn’t have their own watch app is pretty ridiculous. Now, as for this app … There simply HAS to be a better way to let people sign in from their phones and connect to the watch for authentication purposes. Forcing people to authenticate in Safari on the watch is … not acceptable. Separately, the app seems flaky. It had trouble connecting to my AirPods until I switched to another watch app and then back again. But, it does kinda work, and now I can go on a run and stream from SoundCloud. My big issue is that even after the pain of setting it up and logging in and restarting my watch, music. Will not. Play. All my playlists and favorited songs are there and I can click them. GARBAGE APPLike others below, I purchased this app thinking I could get my SoundCloud music to synch up to my watch. After I downloaded the app on my watch it told me to sign in on my Mac (which I did) and sync up my iCloud Drive which I did.
