Great for long distanceHi I’m a real person. I actually am writing this without being asked which is shocking cause I never write reviews. I saw an ad on snapchat and decided okay we will see if this is fun or not. Sent it to my boyfriend who lives in a different state and we got it all set up. Super easy. You add your phone number and that’s it. You can set nicknames and share photos and just general messages. Our favorite part though and I know he loves it cause he never stops using this feature is the challenges. It’s prewritten questions you answer. Some are: who is more likely to or just saying things about yourself so you can get to know them better. I personally like the mood feature. I use it a lot! Are we surprised? I’m not. But because sometimes I feel relaxed and don’t need attention but other days I do I try my best to communicate that with him and this makes it easier. There are a lot of things to do and explore actually and being long distance this app helps us do more things together besides just texting and calling. It’s a space to be intimate together (and you can make it so you use your Touch ID to get into the app) you can keep your love private and fun!.PaigeHerelVersion: 3.4

Great for long distance relationships!I absolutely love this app! It has been great for my long distant relationship. During the week, we are often pretty busy so texting back and forth can become a task, so being able to have a way to quickly show that we are thinking of each other by changing our feeling to “flirty” or sending a GiF or a quick snapshot of my current situation is awesome! The challenges and quizzes are cool too! There are questions in there that I wouldn’t have normally asked, I always look forward to see what his response is. My significant other loves it as well, I thought it was going to be hard to get him to try it. It’s funny how he actually uses it more often then me! And it’s an awesome way to create a time capsule of our relationship to reflect on. Great for couplesLove the app and everything about it. Creates a space to open discussion on topics that would otherwise be lost in the day to day activities of people who do long distance. It’s the little tiny things that this app helps push for couples that make it so amazing. Personally love it, been using it extensively. Only problem I have with it is that I am unable to log back in. I recently lost my phone so I tried downloading the app and connecting with my partner. However, I am not able to find my “secret key” that will enable me to connect with partner and redownload all the data between us. Even if she sends an invite link the app says it should “pre-populate” the secret key for me, to no avail. I tried contacting the company through the email provided through the troubleshooting portion of the app, but nothing there either. The email provided to voice complaints otherwise listed on the help center is not “registered” or maybe something is wrong with my phone. Great tool for military spouses while apart!My husband is on unaccompanied military training orders. The distance is new to us and we have been finding creative ways to stay connected and support each other long distance. This app quickly became a staple part of maintaining that connection- while I can't see us using many of the features (challenge, e-cards/notes) when we are under the same roof, we have both enjoyed them apart. The app has a broad range of ways to communicate, connect, play, and share... we utilize them in ways to make it personal and meaningful for us in different ways each day. While the app user interface, options and performance is top notch- the privacy of personal and identifier data is extremely important. Even though the privacy policies aren't the worst (especially for a free social app)... they are less than ideal/acceptable. Shutting downIt kills me to know this app is shutting down. Me and my partner like to use this app to send our moods and make lists for things we want to watch/dates we want to go on and we can update this real time and we can both see this list and also put down important milestones and just keep in touch without having to message each other and interrupt each other’s work day it’s really an amazing app and it really makes me so upset that we won’t be able to use this anymore. There isn’t an app like this on the market besides just question based apps but this app does so much more. I just really really am gonna miss it. Idk what to say here but it’s greatI literally never review ever but i’m hoping by helping this app out that other people will use it, and also maybe it’ll stay free for as long as possible . i got this app a while ago with my boyfriend, cuz i just wanted something fun to do with him, in our own space where we could just focus on each other. i also really loved being able to ask and answer questions with him even when we didn’t have the app. but finding my own questions to ask was getting pretty exhausting. we’ve been using this app now for like almost three months religiously on a day to day basis. it’s helped us communicate more, have a better understanding of each other’s thoughts and feelings, and helps motivate each other to take time in our own schedules to check up with one another. all the questions can also bring up some new ideas for us to discuss, and in general are just p fun. there’s no better way to review this than to just heavily recommend this. as a real person, i’d like to say that this app has helped my own relationship tremendously and i highly suggest any other couples get this app as well. especially if you have a busy schedule like me..VoxpixieVersion: 4.0

Shutting downI love this app with a passion!! My and my partner are long distance and it has really helped us keep everything together. We both work 60-80 hour work weeks and don’t see each other too often, so this app has always worked with us and it’s our favorite thing to do every single day. Long distance lifesaverMy fiancé and I are in LOVE with this app. It’s great to send more nsfw pictures and messages haha where our roommates or families won’t accidentally see, the challenges are so fun and we send them constantly, and the check ins are great. I’m spending half a year abroad right now, and the time difference is about as bad as it could be, so we barely have any overlap time to talk. It’s been great to have this app to leave each other little messages and check-ins throughout the day without accidentally waking each other up with text alerts. We love tuned!!!! Just one complaint!My fiancé and I have used this app for a little over a year now and we absolutely love it. We use it constantly to send messages and pictures to each other. Our only wish is that there would be an update where you can react to and comment on your own post! Sometimes I will start a “challenge” and once My fiancé answers and we can view each others’ answers, he will react to my answer by reacting to the post, and I wish that I could react to his answer on my post as well! I also frequently find myself wanting to add a comment to my own posts, but I can’t. Love itI absolutely adore this app. It’s like a social media just for you and your partner. It helps us connect so well on many different levels. Being long distance makes it difficult to connect sometimes, so creating conversation and sharing memories through Tuned has helped us a lot. Not to mention if you have trouble expressing your emotions, Tuned provides a variation of emotions to choose from to share with your partner about how you’re feeling throughout the day. Great app, would add one featureThis app is seriously amazing, its a simple fun way to spice up your relationship or a way to feel connected in a long distance relationship. I love that this app has so many features like challenges, the ability to share music, you can unlock it with face ID, and a mood feature. Love it, but needs touching upOverall, I love using this app with my boyfriend and the style is adorable. I also love how you can tag photos to events and make little highlight slideshows. However, there are some bugs with the comments and notifications. They don’t update in real time. Sometimes I can’t see something commented on a photo even if I already have it pulled up. I have to go to the specific notification of the comment to see it immediately. Another thing is things will take a while to appear even if I’ve received a notification I was sent a photo or a comment. I’ll open the app and nothing new will have loaded. Shut downIn my 23 years of life, I have never written a review before today. It is with a heavy heart to see this app go away. The pandemic separated my girlfriend and I, and we kept close using your app. Once things cooled down with the pandemic we were able to get back in person, but I still struggled expressing emotions verbally. Pretty good app, but customization and privacy could be betterThis works great and the person i tuned with and i enjoy how it personalizes long-distance communication! but i do have some suggestions on how to make it better. firstly, if you could customize cards and stickers and whatnot more, that would be wonderful. some apps have ways you can create custom emojis and whatnot, stuff like that for the cards, stickers, reactions and so on would be very fun! alongside that, there’s a bit of a glitch where when i try and press screen lock in the settings, it goes to the music syncing settings, not the lock. this could be because my iPhone does not have the intended thumbprint function I think, so updating that to accommodate passcodes or something would be nice. furthermore, manually entering your pronouns would be a little more inclusive than having to pick from the three available. i go by he/she, but unfortunately I could only pick one or the other, and it left a bit of a sour feeling. and more of a nitpick: the brightness of the app is susceptible to make a lot of people dizzy. an alternative dark mode would be great! much thanks!.Banyan G. Really great! Just one problem.I live across the country from my girlfriend, and we both absolutely love this app. We look forward to learning about ourselves together through the challenges, and just keeping in touch in general. However, to my knowledge there is absolutely 0 ways to share links to anything. Websites, videos, there’s just no way to send links. So we end up sending videos and stuff through discord, and just using discord the rest of the night. So I don’t get as much use out of this app as I hoped. It’s a great communication tool for couples.It enhances relationships by increasing communication. It is like a social media platform, but just between you two. It does this in many different ways. The challenges are great. They give a little Information to your loved one without making it awkward. Like what’s your favorite food, or what’s your top 3 bands, or who would make a better boss. It’s little stuff but it adds up because you get to know your partner better, or it reminds you of you partner constantly. I recommend head to head challenges. Thank youThis app is amazing it’s very organized and very useful at that every time I couldn’t express how I felt I would use this app and if I am not with my partner I can express my emotions on there and I forget stuff a lot when we plan we put it on the bucket list and also reminded dates and we will both be notified just one person makes a date and they both get notified just in case the other person forgets. The Best App!!!I’m writing this to express how saddened I am by this app shutting down. It’s helped me and boyfriend (as well as a friend I recommended it to and her partner) though plenty of circumstances. A great start with a lot of potentialI absolutely love this app so far. My biggest problems with it would have to be the loading times, for some reason videos take forever to load and sometimes don’t send all together and are lost forever. Useful!I got this thinking it would be a fun cute thing to have with my boyfriend. And it is very fun to send the cute questions to each other! RecommendationI highly recommend a feature called thumb kiss, originally named in the old, non existent app called couple. Thumb kiss provides a full blank screen that is real time between each partner, when both in this setting, thumb kiss, and imprint of each other’s thumbs will appear on the screen, if the thumb is removed it disappears, but if the thumbs chase each other, and get closer, the screen turns pink then more pink then red then once the thumbs are aligned each participants phone vibrates. Great for Military RelationshipsMy boyfriend is in the military and it’s hard sometimes to communicate about things while he’s on base and I’m not. We’ve connected a lot since downloading the app. With moods, deep questions, and fun ways of showing each other how much we love each other. Yes we still text, snap, and FaceTime. Holy communicationSo my husband and I (22f/21m) just had a baby and communication went downhill even more so after the baby was born. Love the app tons…but the emojis?It’s still great, I’m gonna start off by saying that first and foremost. What I’m about to talk about it super minor but to me it added to the overall feel of the app. Before the update, the react emojis were cute hearts with emotions. Since the update, it’s just regular emojis. Like I said silly and minor, but the emojis don’t seem to fit with the aesthetic of the app, I know it’s for the purpose of variety. If one person sees a trend of moods than they will be able to assess the problem first hand and find a solution. It also allows you to be able comment on the other persons feelings. The only app I have ever felt compelled to reviewI have never written a review for an app before, but Oh. My. God. I love everything about this app. My partner and I will soon be going long distance so I have been trying to find ways that will help us feel extra connected when we are apart, and this app is literally so perfect for that. The App is a greatI love the concept of this app and I think for the most part it’s executed very well. It’s a great way to connect to your partner and it’s really kind of like a social media of your relationship. It’s fun interesting and raises topics of conversation and brings back old memories. I did like this app, but started realizing this…It grabs your clipboard data sometimes. I’ve noticed it several times—-once in a while, for some random (or coded?) reason, if you reply to a post by your partner, it will automatically just fire off the last thing you had copied into your clipboard. So… potentially personal data. Just now, when I pressed the reply button, it fired off and auto-posted the last Bitmoji of mine that I had copied for a friend’s birthday. A Bitmoji is no big deal, but imagine if the last thing you had you copied was a password? I normally wouldn’t even have noticed, except that my iPhone notified me that it was pasting the clipboard from Bitmoji. I deleted it immediately, but I wonder if it’s still stored somewhere on their servers even if you delete your comment? Little scraps of personal data, breadcrumbs that could eventually create a profile. Maybe that’s not the intent here, I know this is more of a side-project app, but it’s hard not to be a little paranoid in this new Social Dilemma era. I hope this gets fixed. For now, maybe copy some benign text to your clipboard before hitting that “reply” button. Long distance?I downloaded this app thinking it would be an awesome way for me and my long distance boyfriend to keep in touch. Since this is such an inclusive app I thought it would have considered the fact the not everyone’s long distance relationship resides in the states and could be international.
