Works when you both make it workJust like the relationship itself, the app really works well when you both invest into it. The prompts have really good insight into yourself and the relationship; the fact you can’t see your partner’s answer until you send in yours is good too. Being able to go back through answers and also share memories is a good touch. The free version has a lot of good prompts, and the paid version is great for specific topics and dives in deep with those. Being in an LDR, this gives us things to talk about that happen in our daily lives that we don’t normally think about, and having conversations about those things brings a different spark into our dynamic. Both partners have to use it honestly and give the same effort to make it fruitful, and it builds investment. Love it! Just wish premium wasn’t so expensive…My boyfriend and I started using this app a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed if. It is so sweet to read his answers and I look forward to reading the new questions every morning. IncredibleThis app is wildly insightful if you have a partner who wants to improve or strengthen your relationship. I started paying for premium immediately because we could see the value. It’s been 3 weeks and we’ve learned an immense amount about each other and used it as a springboard for more intense in person questions. My issue is with the app organization. I added my best friend who moved about 6 hours away and there is no clear distinction between the “connections” and all the answers are jumbled together. It’s super irritating and cluttered especially if you are trying to mix friends/partner connections. I’ve clicked around in the app and I can’t figure out a way to toggle. SO GLAD that this app existsI was looking for a way for my girlfriend and I to ask each other questions regularly. We looked around and found this gem. This app is everything I could have asked for. We have been doing it everyday for 22 days now and I love it so much. We’ve had so many sweet conversations through just this app. It’s an opportunity for each of us to say something special about each other. It also challenges us in many areas too. Fun way to have good conversations with your partnerFirst of all, I really like the intentions of the app. It’s helped my partner and I have a place for some more serious conversations and helps us talk about things we sometimes forget to talk about. Overall this functions well in the app and I like that it sorts through different categories of topics. Functionality wise, there’s room for improvement. The messaging interface always keeps text I’ve sent in the text box. So if I come back to a conversation and want to say more I need to delete that. Also the notifications don’t always clear and are often irrelevant after a day but stay unread. Some bugs with these aspect could be improved. You’ll love this App!I sent my boyfriend the link to download this App without explanation thinking, “maybe he’ll be interested in doing this with me every once in a while?” To my pleasant surprise, my man began and still to this day, answers the Daily Question everyday first thing in the morning!! Really awesome FREE app.My husband and I just started using this app. We don’t have any major issues but I love to find ways to connect. You can buy a subscription for pretty cheap but you can 100% get value out of the free app, which is what we are using now. Every day you get a question - it can be picked for you or you can choose from a category. You answer the question and then your significant other answers. Both have to answer to see the other person’s answer. Love it. You can send love notes. I know you can text that, but it is special to see a notification in Agape that you were sent something. Great app, possibly needs voice memo option!My relationship took a couple steps back & then your app came across my social media, and I fell in love with the concept. We already do monthly “check-ins” but upon that, I happened to find that we would just pent up all our highs & lows & throw it up at one moment instead speaking when the feeling occurred. The only feedback is that to possibly put a voice memo option when replying to the prompts. Some people don’t like to type. Please make a setting where you can opt out of the streakI’ve been using Agape almost daily for the better part of a year with my partner. Having the streak end is the worst part of using the app - it makes me feel so guilty for having a few ultra busy days. I wish there was a way to opt in / out of partaking in the streak. I know we can restore it once a month and my partner and I have a really great routine with agape doing it together often right as we wake up or before bed, but I cannot control when a month is especially hectic with work. I don’t know if it is possible to make something like a streak opt in, but I would love that. Good start but needs some workThe concept is great and we like the questions, but the app has some functionality issues. Both me and my partner get notifications saying the other person has answered a question when they didn’t, and the red notification badge shows up randomly and then when we open the app, there’s no new notifications. It also keeps your last response in the text field so if you want to add anything to the conversation, you have to delete everything before you can say something new. All the previous answered questions are just kept in a list on the home screen so a way to organize them and look back on them would be nice. Maybe be able to view responses by category? Would also really like an option to turn off daily reminders and still be able to get notifications when my partner responds. I’ve turned off all app notifications because of this as well as the phantom notification bug. The free version is okay, but we wanted the extra questions and would have paid for premium if there was a monthly subscription option. We found this and honestly it has been extremely impactful and has been a priceless tool to strengthen and focus our relationship. The daily questions have been so unique and have helped my girlfriend and I start conversations that we would have probably not discussed if it wasn’t for Agapé. Good, but could be betterBefore I say anything, I think agape is an incredible app for everyone, there are so many meaningful conversations to be had because of this app and its fun going through so many of their questions (which there are a LOT of). However, I use this with my boyfriend, and it’s really frustrating when I see an important to talk about topic section like “Engagement”, however most of the best questions/most beneficial ones are for premium only. Without purchasing a subscription, options are limited.TLDR: It’s only helpful for a little while and then you either pay for the subscription or it gets very very boring. We have only used the free version and at first it was very good. Love this appFound this app from tiktok and my boyfriend and I love it!! We’ve always valued having deep conversations, but over the span of our relationship it can sometimes get hard to keep coming up with topics to discuss. Great app!! Just wish there were optionsI started using this app a few months ago and it has been fantastic!! Awesome app, great team! Incredible value!I started a long distance relationship 6 months ago (as I never thought I would) and was recommended by another friend in a long distance relationship to try Agapé. It has provided tremendous value to me and my partner and really helped us connect regularly and learn about eachother quickly! The wide variety of questions really gets you thinking about stuff you never would have thought to ask! You also have to answer so it helps you learn some things about yourself as well! It’s quite often I don’t have an immediate answer and have to consider how I think or feel about whatever question it is. We often will discuss the questions over FaceTime as well and dive deeper which helps bring us closer and learn even more about eachother. And it’s a daily thing so it helps to build a habit and a curiosity about eachother! I feel like I know more about her than anyone else in my life by far, including past long term relationships! Questions become repetitiveMy partner and I have been using this app daily for probably a couple months or so. It was fun at first but the questions began to get repetitive, not in the sense that they were repeated word for word but many questions were similar but just asked in a different way. Adore this appOh my, where to start. My partner and I downloaded this app with no real goal in mind. We were both just intrigued and wanted to see what questions we hadn’t thought to ask each other. Not as good as reviews sayThere are many things I like about this app. Such as the whole premise, the actual good questions, and a few of the premium features. The problems start with the paywall. If you and your partner want access to change the questions, personalize them, or just have access to the other topics then you’re going to cough up $50. They even try to deceive you a little by dumbing down the price by saying 2.08 $ per person, per month. That is just done to trick you into thinking its cheap by that logic and to sway you into buying it. After the paywall there are the trash questions. (Which i paid for) There are questions that aren’t insightful, questions that are boring, and essentially plagued with repeat but reworded questions. Over time my girlfriend and I started using the app less and less because we had answered so many questions and we didn’t even reach 1 year before we decided we no longer wanted to use the app. Which brings me to say that the app has poor longevity for couples who are just dating. After a brief discussion, we both ruled that it was because of a few factors, the lack of good questions, we had answered nearly all the ones we wanted, and there were too many questions that we felt were just bad. I miss the Daily question and timerMy boyfriend and I loved the app and used it daily for 6 months until the update with the change from “Daily Question” to “Chosen for you” happened. The fact that was only one question a day was so good. you could close the app and reopen it and the daily question wouldn’t change, unless the timer was done or you answered the question. I don’t understand why you thought it was a bad idea or wasn’t working. It felt more special because it made us talk more about different things, the timer help us to make sure we answer a question we liked, we feel that we even put more effort and were more present answering because the questions could go away when the time was done.
