Good idea but not ready for prime timeI really want to like this app but it's just too buggy. For at least the last several days, the transactions view is not working nor is the link to view the purchases included in your upcoming bank transfer. It's unclear how much in your cash fund is earmarked for stocks vs. how much you can use to buy more of the stocks you already own. (As others have pointed out, you can't buy any stock you don't initially acquire through patronizing that business.) When the transactions view is working, you can see how $1 for each purchase you've made will be allocated—to a stock or to your cash fund. Some transactions that should go towards stock do not. For example, my monthly payment of my AT&T bill has yet to yield me any AT&T stock. I have noted this in the app but it's never been corrected. I hope the developers are working on improving this app. I'll keep using it, but it just feels like it's not ready for prime time..SeasonsturnVersion: 1.2.1

This app is a MUSTI’ve been using this app for several years now and I’ve never had any issues. In fact, I am making money buying shares from companies I buy products and services from on a daily basis. Actually Griffin does the work for me, all I do is spend money and they take one dollar ($1) and invest it by purchasing shares of that specific company on my behalf. And that is awesome!!! Griffin provides a super easy way to understand the fluctuations of the stock values (up or down) and which companies are the top performers. You can also buy additional shares by using available cash or by transferring money from any of your linked bank accounts. Also If you need assistance, Griffin customer service team answers you right away via email. At least that’s how I’ve reached out to the them in the past and I have received assistance/solutions right away. I cannot suggest this app enough. I highly recommend it to any age group. A good intro to StocksI've been using Griffin for a bit now and I think it is very ease of access especially if you don't have time I do think the FAQs could be more broad because I had a lot of questions at first and my first experience was through reels that got me to it! The customer support is the saving grace at the moment if you have any questions, all of the staff that support the app are very knowledgeable on the things you can do with the app you may not be aware of. They also give recommendations on how you can maximize your savings, and set you on the right path and let it seamlessly do its job as you just buy your stuff! Developers Listen!I’ve been a loud and proud Grifin member for over 2 years. Others and I would say we would like an option to invest more than $1 at a time and we would like a referral program and we would like to see total return…all of that is there now! They’re the one company I’ve experienced truly listening to feedback and doing what they can to make it the best. And it really is the best. You feel like you’re part of the Grifin team and that makes folks want to support them because they truly support us. My latest suggestion is that I would love to be able to see more details regarding a company’s performance that I’ve invested in ie not just seeing that they’re up or down whatever percentage but I would love to be able to see how they’ve done over different periods of time. Doing much better nowSo like a lot of other earlier reviewers stated, I saw the creator on a TikTok vid. I thought it seemed like a good idea and I tried it. Initially, around April, I was having the same issues a lot of other users reported. I had money that was being deducted but I couldn’t invest it. But as the app progressed, I was able to more easily move money around. I have about $400 invested in about 24 stocks at this point. I can easily see what I have and where it is. The only couple of issues I still see are: 1. I would really like to be able to invest in any company I want and not just the ones I have made purchases from. I often make purchases at random spots (like a car wash) where there is no stock. I’d like to be able to take those “loose dollars” and buy Tesla or Microsoft or something. I don’t see myself buying a Tesla vehicle but I’d like the option of investing. 2. Sometimes it freezes up when I try to sign in. So easy, my new favorite app!LOVE Grifin, it really is effortless! Once you sign up and register your bank account/card there’s nothing more that you need to do except SPEND! I signed up and started using it and actually kind of forgot about it for several months and when I logged back in I realized I own stock in over 100 different companies. Now some of them are barely even 3% of 1 share, but others I actually own multiple (full) shares of stock! I have also bought additional shares of stock with the money that you have for “investing“ (that happens when you use your card at a store that is not publicly traded, they still take the dollar out but it goes into investable cash. Makes me feel like Im “playing the stock market” But, in all seriousness it has taught me a little bit about the stock market and I’m able to see what’s making money, what’s not making money, which of my stocks I’ve earned the most from etc… and it’s also really fun. I never even miss the money that is taken out (one dollar at a time) when I use my card at places And that is really the best part. I have built a little nest egg of stocks and even cash (forgot to say if you have investable cash you do not need to purchase shares of stocks you can also transfer that money right into your bank account with one click of a button. I love this appI will start with how much I appreciate the new, quick real time buy/sell ability that has come with the Alpaca switch!! It’s been such a game changer! Before it was such a crap shoot not knowing what day or even week the stock price would be traded. There wasn’t any consistency or rhyme/reason to it. I also really love the most recent update (under the total acct value) that shows the total $ and % difference in investment and value. Super cool ideaI really appreciate this app! It’s a little buggy every now and then — sometimes the log in screen freezes (but I am sure this bug will be fixed in a coming update). Good product! User friendly!I have enjoyed the user interface, it is simple and concise which is perfect for a passive investment platform. The app works as expected for the most part. I have encountered some bugs where I believe a stock should have been purchased based on a recent transaction and it only adds the funds to your account. Mind blownHere’s why I’m mind blown. I downloaded and set up griffin months ago. Completely forgot about it until today, I just happened to scroll past the app, while looking at stocks, and was like what is this? As I said before I forgot so I clicked on it and it immediately registered in my head. Has PotentialI like this app and it has potential… but it needs work. First, I’d like to link multiple credit cards however I am unable to. I’d also like to use the “Grifin Time Machine” feature however anytime I do it does not work and I am presented with a blank white screen. Like finding $400 in your couchThis app has been the simplest way for me to invest. App is Cool. Customer Service, Not So MuchI’ve been using the app for a couple years. At first it was cool. You get to buy stock where you spend your money. They let you pick the day of the week the money will be withdrawn from your account, then send an email before and after the purchase is made. You can even set the limit for how much you would like to purchase, starting with $1. That was working fine until my limit somehow got bumped to $2 or more per purchase and I couldn’t change it. I went from having weekly invest of about $18 to $94, without my permission. I tried to reset it, spoke to customer service, they claimed it was fixed. It wasn’t. That started in May of 2023 and here we are in November and it still has not been fixed. So each week I have to manually go in and “freeze” my purchases so I’m not charged a car note per month. Like I said, app is cool when it’s working right, but the customer service needs some serious help..DB315Version: 1.6.3

LOCKED FUNDS IN ACCOUNTI have had this app for about a year now, for the last 6 months I have been trying to withdraw my funds. First I delt with issues getting logged back into my account after an update that I have seen many other people in the reviews deal with. This bug was finally fixed. Since then I have been in an ongoing battle to withdraw my funds and my account has been on the “last step” for 5 months now. I have emailed over and over again but it’s always some random excuse why I can’t withdraw my money. They even told me my funds are locked and they canceled the withdraw because I tried to transfer it to a seperate bank account than the one I signed up with… I only have one bank account. This app is a great concept and very user friendly up until the point you want to take your money out. Scam? App randomly stopped working and started taking money out of my accountThe title says it all. I've been using Grifin since 2021 but I'm over it now. Before the app stopped working I had limited the amount i'm willing to put in every month to something veryyyy minimal because i became unemployed recently. However the company switched to Alpaca? recently and started withdrawing money I can't afford to invest. I can't ever open the app to see why they're taking all this money out. This feels like a scam now. It's completely unacceptable that a service that takes ppls money and involves constant selling and buying would have their app be COMPLETELY inaccessible for a month now. Nowhere Near ReadyI really wanted to like this app after hearing about it. It sounded like a great concept and I figured I’d give it a go. From the beginning the app was very confusing on providing information as to what stocks were actually being bought, pending, or sold. Even with the transactions filter it would say a stock was pending to be bought then never would go through. I still have “pending stocks” from 5 months ago! As others have mentioned make sure you limit the amount of money you want invested or it will invest for EVERY purchase you make on connected cards. It does not matter wether that company has a publicly traded stock or not. This should be fixed to limit only to public stock purchases. The app is constantly buggy and lags like crazy. You’ll be in the middle of trying to do something and the app crashes. It’s extremely annoying and seems to only have gotten worse lately. I finally decided to pull the plug today, I’m selling all the stocks I have in it and deleting my account. They also make it quite a lengthy process to close your account. There have been too many issues. I’ll be sticking to Robinhood for my stock purchases..RIPlearjetVersion: 1.2.1

Very unfortunateReally wanted to like this App. Stayed on for about 6 months before removing my bank account information. Beware! When they say they invest $1 in every purchase they mean EVERY PURCHSE! Including utilities, rent…even if the company or bill you paid doesn’t have shares. It adds up extremely fast! Then it’ll stay pending for a long time. I finally cashed out as much as I could (roughly $100) but I currently still have $40 in stupid investments and they won’t allow me to sell. I’ve tried multiple times to sell but all it gives me is an error. I’ve decided to just take the $40 loss and delete all my info and delete the application completely. Beware. I think it was a great idea but poor execution. It most definitely needed to be troubleshooted before they launched it..TntnvtftvvVersion: 1.2.1

Why is zero starts never an option????This company is ridiculous and I am starting to believe it to be total fraud. After depositing money the first time things seemed fine. I made a small deposit at first. The next deposit the same. Everything fine. When I tried to withdraw came the problems. Money “pending” for over a month, no responses from any customer service, and “we’ll take care of it” followed by absolute silence and no progress. There is STILL money in my account I have been trying to get back for over a month with ZERO response from them. And any attempts to close the account have failed. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Good App But Very GlitchyI find this app to be useful when it comes to investing companies that you make everyday purchases in. But the app itself if very glitchy and buggy. If one thing is fixed then another shows up. For example. I could not make a stock purchase using my remaining dollars for the longest time. I would have to exit out of the app for the transaction to go through. Since then, it has been fixed but now I cannot view my pending transactions. It has been ongoing for about 3 weeks now. The transactions tab is just a spinning wheel of eternity. If this app really took their tech issues seriously. I would totally recommend this app to everyone..The jc fishVersion: 1.2.1
