Fun, interesting, challenging but doableI’m on #3 of this series and enjoying it so much! Each game has a vast quantity of scenarios, lands, challenges, and puzzles. Keeping track of where I need to go was hard, until I realized there’s a map! This is one of the few games I’ve bought hints because I want to keep going so badly. The graphics are beautiful and the storyline is interesting. There are some predictable puzzles—meaning the format is the same, which are nonetheless enjoyable. There are some harder puzzles which I like too. Also I love the music! It’s been the same in all three lands. Like a cross between an Alfred Hitchcock movie and Lord of the Rings Trilogy music. Great variety and drama. A few tips: 1) tap absolutely every part of every screen. There are hidden bits everywhere which, while not critical to completing the game, let you complete a side puzzle. 2) I’m playing on an Iphone, and it’s necessary to drag the screen up and down slightly to see everything past the resources box. It’s absolutely necessary to do if you don’t want to miss critical items. 3) There’s a green “back” arrow on the resources box for almost all times you need to return to an area or close a puzzle. However there are also a handful of scenarios when just tapping the background does the same. Thoroughly fun games!.MbajhiVersion: 2.0.1

Lost Lands 3: 100% Recommended!I’ve bought & played Lost Lands 1 & 2, & now am on 3. This group makes great games that are challenging & fun, with gorgeous graphics, but not so hard that I feel like giving up. The only difference I see with #3 is even after buying the game, I have to watch ads to get coins for hints, but it’s not too big of a deal. These games have good, in-depth storylines, and the main human character in each of these first 3 is a grown woman who seems like someone you might really know, not a teenage boy’s fantasy of a woman! I appreciate the care they have put into making sure the English version is actually in good English, not some garbled version obviously written by a non-English speaker. After buying these I looked at their website and found out this is made by a group from Ukraine. It makes me feel really good to be able to support this company, some of whose members have left to fight the invading Russian troops, and some of whom have left the country for safety. Incredibly creative and fun!This game was extremely creative and a delight to play! The Castle Of Madness in particular was some of the coolest and most interesting puzzles and set pieces I’ve ever come across. The room of insanity was my favorite of them all. So many beautiful and interesting settings all around! I only have two critiques. 1) the clues span so widely across locations some of the hints or conclusions you’re supposed to draw are nearly impossible, especially trying to keep track of unfinished elements, I almost never need to use hints but I did in this case to avoid excessive frustration. That being said, $2.99 for 35 coins, which is well beyond how many coins I needed to ease my way through the trickier parts, is a steal for how fun this game is. 2) please make an option to mute game sound so I can listen to other things while I play, which is my preference for all games. Canceling out music from other apps is unnecessary. Other than those two point I highly recommend this game!!.ElliemceVersion: 2.0.1

A Must playI freaking luv this game! I’m on lost lands 3 now an I luv how the storyline stays tied in. U get 5 free hints but they give u an option to watch a short ad for a hint, which has no limit on. Most games like this I’ve played make u use energy to complete task,even for the mini games.. this app doesn’t.. don’t even penalize you for tapping to much when u trying to find that one thing u looking for. If u have a complain about this game/developers then sum wrong. There’s not one thing I can nitpick to complain about. Lost LandsI first clicked on a add for Lost Lands 2 and really enjoyed it. I bought some coins just to give back, but I really didn’t need them. I have now played Lost Lands 1 and 2. Now I am playing 3. I enjoy the story and their puzzles. You don’t need to spend money on coins they give you plenty with their free coins you can get through the store. If you want to play the extra chapter it cost real money but how well their games are made I don’t mind paying for them. I really having a blast playing them. I have not looked to see how many games are in their Lost Lands series. I don’t want them to end. If you have not given them a try at least check them out. Thank you to Five-BN. AddictedI started with the New York series and enjoyed them a lot. Tried hard not to buy hints but wound up doing so a few times. Now, into the Lost Lands series and am regularly buying hints ahead of time. They make the game more enjoyable for me. Insurance against frustration. The artwork is brilliant. The programming seems very tight. The motion graphics could use a bit of ‘modernizing’. A wonderful use of time and $. A step down from the first 2Lost Lands 1&2 were 5 stars, but sadly this one is a couple steps down. The complexity went way up overall. It was frustrating, convoluted, and there were solutions that did not feel satisfying when you figured them out. The new mechanic of interacting with items in your inventory felt like more of a chore or distraction from the main game: which is best when spent studying the beautiful scenery for clues. There are also lots of gated content, that even if you have the pieces to solve the game won't let you until you progress the story to a certain point. Still, the game has amazing art, lore, and the core game of finding clues and solving puzzles is here and fun in Lost Lands 3..SippingciderVersion: 2.0.2

Love this series!I need to go back and review the other two but so far I absolutely love these games. Even though I struggle I’m still giving it all 5 stars because that’s my own fault and not the games. My only complaint is some of the voice acting, particularly “Fiora! No-o-o!!” Which was pretty much whispered haha. I will be playing all of these games. They’re a lot of fun and sometimes very challenging. Wow, there’s a lot going on with this versionI enjoy a game that takes me a few days to solve. This one was enjoyable but frustrating. And the only reason I did not rate this higher is how expensive it was above and beyond the money I paid to purchase the game. My major complain is paying for gold on items that should be included in the price of the game. Plus there was so much going on, that I had to be awake and alert because I was totally lost on what to do next. Generally when this happens, I would look at the map. But the map was no help because I had to PAY with gold that I had to purchase for the map to be useful for something other than jumping around. So what did I do? I found a walk through online to help me for free. I’m the type that wants to find all of the hidden features. Nope. Because the map was useless, the game ended. I deleted this game and will probably never purchase another in this series and that’s a travesty. Great game! Small glitch.I am loving this game so far and I have played many of these games (including the Bonus Chapters) made by this company, all of which I have enjoyed. However, I am having trouble picking up the stone block in the Castle of Madness. I pressed on it a bunch of times. I watched a walkthrough to see if I was doing something wrong. I used a hint and they all just told me to press the block. I’ve tried again and again and again but I just get text at the top that says “I need to find a way to get there”. Best Hidden Object Developer I’ve foundThis was the first hidden object game I played. Little did I know at the time that this developer’s games would be the best I would find. The gameplay is truly about being creative and using your memory to find the next solution. Adventurous for SureI enjoy the graphics of the game, I like the continuity of the story, the puzzles and the fact that you can gain HINTS easily but watching one ad at a time. What I don’t like about the game is that you have to jump around on the maps and I find it hard to keep track of where to fine the next item or clue. Another thing I don’t appreciate are the advertisements. They are vulgar, sexist and demeaning to women and family life. Paint mixing game glitch and not really F2PNo matter what I do, the paint mixing game won’t complete even though I have all the colors correctly mixed. Looks like I’m not the only one having this problem. Also, only allowing 15 free coins maximum throughout the entire game with no ability to earn more in case you get stuck on a puzzle (or there’s a glitch in a puzzle), means the game is not Free To Play (F2P) and is false advertising. Allowing for an unlimited ability to earn more coins by watching ads, for example, would be a simple solution. DecentI like it, it can be very hard sometimes because certain things you click on does nothing, then when you buy coins those very things you click on them works, so I definitely don’t like nor appreciate. Great gameBrilliant graphics nice story line. I like that it continues from 1 to next. However.....the hints you sometimes get free by watching an ad.....more than half the time you dont get credit. It wont let you accumulate enough(10) to skip a puzzle either. You must pay to do that. Some versions free bonus level if you get all the items. MapI’m on the third installment of this series and it’s an amazing game. Graphics are awesome difficulty can be challenging, I would have given it 5 stars except the maps are worthless as far as knowing where to go. You can jump to other places but it does not show anything as far as places to visit or collection items. AMAZING… butI’ve played 1, 2, and just finished 3. The graphics are amazing the animation is really good. I love the audio so you don’t have to read it all. I wish I could have a good working computer and have full screen versions. I do play on an iPad it’s just hard to see some collection items. Usually I find those by accident. A solid gameBut far, far too pixel-hunty - including pixel hunts that don’t show up until after events have happened. Meaning you sometimes have to pixel-hunt the same area multiple times. Did some good things: the map, the quality of the cuts, f2p, the length of the game. Did some brutal things: multiple hints are required to make forward progress, the dice game. Oh the dice game. Too expensive for meI ended up paying too much on gold coins to offset the fact that this is an excellent game. I quit after doling out a certain amount and don’t plan to play more Lost Lands. Mix of Good Scenery and PuzzlesThis is my third in the series. My disappointment is in one I needed to but the “bonus” game I earned. In two, the game ended abruptly and asked for $$. I’m sure that is the norm. The earning hints by time in two was the best. Sometimes the scenes overwhelm you by numbers and I need a hint to remember where to go to use what I have. ConvolutedThe H.O.G.’s were nicely executed…well thought out; The voiceovers were good. Animations/videos, really good… The game itself is convoluted. I couldn’t have done it without the walk through..and I’m a seasoned player.. 75% of the time…I was lost as to what to do next…I would pick up a sword that would be needed many frames back, for a hole in the ground I forgot all about….Several things had happened since then..and there was no logic to many of the inventory items… Because it is a sizeable game…they should have considered a map that would give you the option of activating locations. Just a micro transaction cash grabI enjoyed the first two games, but the gameplay in this one is so unsatisfying. I happily pay $5 for a good game with well designed puzzles and problems you have to work through. But the solutions in this game are so convoluted and illogical, requiring jumping all over forty-some locations all over the map, and finding repeat copies of very basic tools. Objects and locations are given very out of order so that you have single-use items sitting in your inventory for hours. The intention of this is to force you to pay for the hints, which are so lazily designed that it ruins the satisfaction of actually solving the story. Shame, because there’s a skeleton of a good game here. A lot of the mini puzzles are fun, the story is interesting enough. But paying for the answers really spoils the fun of a puzzle..Blue Box 5Version: 2.0.2

Skip this oneI played Darkness and Flame and really liked it so I wanted to play more from this developer. Played the first two Lost Lands parts, which were ok, and then there’s this. Completely devoid of logic. Many of the puzzles made no sense whatsoever and I either solved them by accident or had to look up the answer, and even with the answer they STILL made no sense. Constant jumping around from scene to scene, almost never anything in any given scene to complete anything there. Every single locked container, or mechanism missing parts, it takes so long within the game to find what you need that you’ve completely forgotten where you need it and for what. The entire thing was confusing and illogical, which is a complete contrast to the first Darkness game. I really wish I hadn’t wasted my time slogging through this..TyriaVersion: 1.1.8

Good Story But Too RandomThis is by far the weakest of the Lost Worlds series. The story is interesting, but figuring out where to find the next lead is often impossible. Areas that were inactive in a room the first time you explored it will become active, with no indication elsewhere that the room changed. Too often a tool you have won’t work in a situation where it absolutely should work. “I need to cut this rope” - use knife - “That won’t work here”. “There’s something up high but I can’t reach it” - use pole - “That won’t work here”. Really? Why the h* not? It’s too contrived and makes no sense way too often. I hope LW4 is significantly better..BethMitVersion: 2.0.1

Deleted my entire progressI really enjoy this series but this one was incredibly disjointed and lacked cohesion. Some things required me knowing that characters were reappearing and needed retalking to or things I tried before were delayed and now unlocked. It was incredibly annoying throwing away objects that could’ve performed additional tasks suddenly needing a similar object to be found and used. I found all the objects to unlock the bonus games. Played three of them. Left the game thinking I could come back and finished. Only to find both games were reset to unplayed with no progress. Awesome..KAY ÖSSVersion: 2.0.3

Gave upI've played quite a few of these games from this developer and gave them 5 stars... This game was a total wash for me... I couldn't make sense and was always going back and forth to find inventory without being able to find it.... And this is only in the first chapter. I figured if it was this complicated in the beginning, forget about getting further in the game. Was so frustrated I just deleted the game. I so this for enjoyment, not frustration. Hints stopped workingI’ve enjoyed playing Lost Lands 1 and 2, so I went on to play more games in the series. However, halfway through Lost Lands 3, the hints that I paid for stopped working! The bottom just makes a clicking sound but nothing happens, even though I have 58 hint credits left. I also wish there was a way to carry over the hints that I paid for from previous games in the series that were never used, since that is wasted money that I never got to use. Stone block glitchIs the stone block supposed to be laying there? Because i cannot grab the stone block which because of this i cant move on to the next scene/move i.e to grab the eggs. I try touch the area around it but still no success. Even the spoon was also hard to grab it n have to touch several places around it too. Too bad, someone has pointed out the problem a year ago but none has been done to look into it and correct it. Because of this i gave 2 stars. Otherwise it should be 5 instead. So buggy whole actions are missingI usually love this game series but this one was so buggy that entire actions just simply did not happen as in the walkthrough. I can’t even finish it, since the lat golden horn I retrieved just disappeared and did not go into the chest. Stuck at 8 out of 9 with an incomplete golden chest. Really annoying. Also many exactions need to be repeated many times before they work properly. Very very glitchy compared to the other LL games. Was great until…I was enjoying this game thoroughly until I gave one of the characters what he asked for and I didn’t get what I needed in return, which completely stopped my progress and I could not continue. Disappointed in this oneI am a big fan of Five-BN games, but this one was disappointing. I finished Lost Lands 1 and 2 (loved them) But part three gave very vague clues in a lot of places, plus It would not let me place things many times.
