LIFE DESCRIPTION

Sometimes Life seems really short, and other times impossibly long.
This app will help you to emphasize that it’s most certainly finite.
Life shows you, the days, months, and years you have left and that they are all you have got.
Don’t be afraid, that means the only appropriate word to describe your time left is “precious”.
So I hope this app will enable you to create a Life in which you will be happy and creative.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR PRIVACY?

I think Privacy is a fundamental human right.
To that end, I have designed Life from the ground up without any external framework.
In this way, your data, like your birthdate, stays entirely private.

HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?

As I don’t collect any data on this app, to improve it I need your help!
You can send me an email to [email protected] for any feedback, issues, or bugs on this app or just to say “Hello!”.

I answer every email!

LOVE ITI love this app and the concept around realizing just how little time we truly have. It’s scary watching the days, months, and years countdown but I love it. I have my life as a widget on my Home Screen, but I would love to see a widget for my iPhone Lock Screen that works with the new iOS 16 update. Another idea I think would be cool is if you could have a different countdowns. One as your main life countdown and then another that you can set for a specific date. Overall though, no complaints about this app. It’s free, simple, easy to use, and best of app, no personal data is collected.Version: 1.0.9

Love this app so much......it is the last thing I look at before I go to bed, and the first thing early morning before I meditate. It is a reminder to be both grateful and in awe of this one preciousness life that we have been granted. Thank you and thank you to Tim Urban for being your inspiration to create this..Version: 1.0.3

Simple and profoundFirst off, this is a very nicely made app. Would love to learn iOS development just to make something like this. As another reviewer said, this gives a very striking spin to anxiety/perspective on our short time here. The “Wait But Why” article attached seriously helped me appreciate this lovely app that much more. Thank you!.Version: 1.0.2

Shifting the anxiety paradigmIf something so simple and beautiful in its function and aesthetics isn't what we all need to shift our priorities and the paradigm that has been upended i. The last year, then there’s no amount of vaccine or prescription that will. Thank you, Julien and I do hope that there may be another app in yOUR future..Version: 1.0.2

Just what i was looking for.Love the article the idea came from. Biggest wish is there to be an option to see things in weeks as well, and be able to pan out and see an overall view, otherwise it’s perfect.Version: 1.0.2

Beautifully CraftedThere is something special about being able to really visualize the finite nature of our lives that allows us to take advantage of the time we all have. This app allows you to do exactly that..Version: 1.0

Perfect!Love this app! Thanks to the awesome dev ~ just two thoughts: 1) is there a way to have the balls in a widget and 2) I wish there were a mode where I could pour the balls out lol like a cup full of years all going down the drain 🥲.Version: 1.0.2

Life expectancyI like the concept but I am bummed out it won’t let me change my life expectancy past 90. Kind of a limited perspective on things. Also would be fun if it broke down the days and weeks and months as well so I could keep taking track instead of just the graphs showing years! (Those are cute tho).Version: 1.0.2

I love itI love the app. Very good color and looks sharp. Good ui. I wish though that we could view the color boxes by other metrics like weeks and years. And it would be really cool if it would pan out to see an overall view of it.Version: 1.3.4

Thank you, developersThis is a much better way to say “Life is short, don’t wast it.”.Version: 1.0.2

Good, but why is life expectancy limited to 90?Should be able to set to 100 at least or any number..Version: 1.0.7

Momento MoriI had a countdown timer for similar purposes, but this is far more elegant and visual. Well done..Version: 1.0.2

A great appIt’s simple and perfect a great reminder to libe every moment to its fullest.Version: 1.0.3

Clean AFSimple, private and humane app. Thanks J!.Version: 1.0.2

Depressing but that’s lifeI’d like to see more choices in ages rather than five year laps. And can I make the beads (years) I have left bigger, to fill the screen? 23 years…yikes. Hmmm..Version: 1.0.4
