Track your sleep related data and see your daily sleep score based on data collected by your Apple Watch.

Sleep Details requires an Apple Watch with watchOS 8 or later installed. Sleep Details integrates with the Health app and uses data stored in the Health app.

Key features:
-Daily sleep score based on sleep duration and other relevant sleep related data
-See details of the following sleep related data: Sleep stages and times, Activity while sleeping, Heart rate, Heart rate variability, Respiratory Rate (on devices running watchOS 8), Blood oxygen levels (SpO2 data is available only on Apple Watch series 6 or later devices), Wrist Temperature (only available on Apple Watch series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra devices )
-Privacy: We do not collect any data from your devices
-Receive morning notifications with last nights sleep score and sleep duration
-Rate your sleep. Your personal feeling based rating will also adjust your daily score
-Tag your sleep with factors that possibly affected your sleep. For example if you feel that caffeine affected your sleep you can tap the caffeine icon to tag your sleep
-Night Mode: If you open Sleep Details during the night, you will see your most recent 4 hour Heart Rate, Heart Rate Variability and Blood Oxygen (Series 6 or later) averages.
-Sleep has an important role in the performance of your memory. To highlight this, we added a simple memory test in Sleep Details: 1) Before going to bed try memorize a set of icons and their location. 2) Then after waking up, try remember and fill in these items. 3) New icons and locations will be generated for each day, so you can track your long-term progress by completing a new test each day.
-Add Sleep Details as a complication on your watch faces
-On your Apple Watch you can tap different metrics to see more details
-Two week sleep score trend available on your iPhone. You can tap different days to see the sleep details of the selected day
-On your iPhone you can tap different metrics to get a description of the selected metric
-History view with your all-time averages and min/max values for all available sleep related data
-After your free seven day trial has ended you can continue to use the app by purchasing monthly subscription or the "Lifetime access" in-app purchase. Purchases can also be made before the trial ends by tapping the trial end date.
-"Lifetime access" and monthly subscription purchases will also unlock the Sleep Details toolbar and comparison charts

How are different health metrics used to calculate your last nights sleep score? As an example your score will be lower if your last nights heart rate average is higher than your weekly resting heart rate average. In this case the heart rate ring will be colored red so you can easily spot which metrics are negatively affecting your score.

Sleep Details App Comments & Reviews

Sleep Details Positive Reviews

SuggestionBiggest complaint is that you can only add tags and ratings the day of! It would be extremely helpful to go back and add tags after the fact, especially for data taken before you started using the app. (Also REM detection would be great, and an explanation of what makes different measures red/ yellow/ blue.).Version: 1.9

Great sleep tracking appSo I’ve been finding ways to get more thorough information on my sleep since I have insomnia and it’s hard for me to maintain a sleep schedule. Most sleep tracking apps have a subscription model service which I kinda find tedious if it’s going to be something that I would need long term. There are a few things on those apps that you don’t find here, other apps do feature other things such as music that you can play to help make you fall asleep. REM sleep tracking which really doesn’t mean much to me, and maybe other features such as snore or voice detection while in bed. Those 3 features don’t matter as much because the price of this app is WAY cheaper than the other sleeping tools that are out there. While other developers try and tack on a subscription model, this app is only $4 for the lifetime edition. Only $4 and you get to analyze and compare data really easily. It does everything that I would need it to and I would like there to be a tip option, and if any dev sees this. I’d like to request a few things. A tip option would be nice for other people who would like to tip anything extra for the price, maybe also REM sleep tracking if that could be implemented. Any other features would also be nice..Version: 1.2

Not too happyI noticed that it doesn’t always pick up on when I am sleeping like my Fitbit did which is disappointing. There also is not much description on what your sleep score means…or what they are basing their rating on so you can see if you need to improve or why did I sleep well and it’s saying I have a 56 score? This area definitely needs improvement consider how much you pay for the Watch and their competitor Fitbit does better in this area..Version: 1.3.5

It worksIt works fine. iPhone 11 and Apple Watch SE. The reason why the people who left bad reviews saying that it doesn’t work is because they do not have sleep tracking enabled. If sleep tracking isn’t enabled and there is no data on your health app under the sleep section, this app has no data to pull from..Version: 1.1

Good for blind peopleI have other Watch apps and some of them are confusing to use because I can’t see I use voiceover, but this app is really easy to use. Only problem is today it didn’t give me a score which is strange, but I’m sure to correct itself..Version: 3.0

Great app!I love this app, it's been super cool to see all of the insights that is has given me. my only complaint is that when i go to sleep early and activate sleep mode on my own, there is a huge disconnect from what my health app says and what this app says. for instance, last night i turned on sleep mode around 7:45p and woke up around 8:45a. the health app reflects this, but this app says i went to sleep at 1a and woke up at 9p. which???? it's only 10a here lol. that's the only thing that's weird though, i love this app otherwise!.Version: 1.3.5

Needs 1 fix badlyI like the app. I’d give it 5 stars if it were able to tell that when I went to sleep at 2am and woke up at 10am I did NOT sleep for 14 hours 🤣.Version: 1.3.5

Hard to followMaybe it is just me but I wish there was a better explanation as what I am looking at. As an example the data comes in different colors and I’m not sure if that means I had a good day or a bad one. It doesn’t specify if there is something serious going on or not..Version: 1.7

Great feedbackIt’s helpful to see how my body behaves while I’m sleeping. I switched beds after seeing a big positive change in my sleep stats when I slept in a different bed..Version: 1.9

The good and badAp does a good job monitoring health readings (I assume) but it doesn’t know when I’m asleep or just still. It records sleep when I’m still and also records sleep if it’s taken off to charge. Program should be written that if there is no heartbeat or breathing that you aren’t sleeping..Version: 2.0

Ease of useI use to use a Fitbit. I think they user interface is much better than Apple. This thing feel clunky. I hate the idea that I have to tell my watch I am going to sleep and it doesn’t do it automatically. That’s it for now.Version: 3.2

Sleep debt?I really like this app. I wonder if incorporating sleep debt is in the future plans? It’s an easy calculation and in my opinion the most important measure for sleep..Version: 1.3.5

Great interfaceI love this app’s ux simplicity and its implementation on the watch. Highly recommend..Version: 3.2

👍🏼👍🏼Love it! It would be nice if they added wrist temperature into the equation!.Version: 3.0

Try Spell CheckerI would have sent a private message but seems no way to do that, any “Sleep Debt” is not spelled “Sleep Dept.”.Version: 2.0.5

Clean, simple interface with potentialI've used about all of the the sleep tracking apps and find this to be an inexpensive, simole, effective tool for monitoring the timing and quality of your sleep. I had no issues with the app working as it should. It connects well with my iPhone 12 pro max Apple Watch 5. There are clean, flat graphics on both the watch and phone. There is an option for rating your sleep.on a 1 -5 star scale that allows for tweaking automated results to match your experience. The pro version, for a few bucks, is not at all needed, but a useful, inexpensive add on if you want additional functions. Given the spectrum of overly-complicated, buggy, and expensive sleep apps out there for the Appl Watch, I think this app presents a strong initial showong. I look forward to seeing what they do with the app!.Version: 1.0.5

NapsPretty great app, but wish it took naps into account..Version: 3.2
