Quality of life improved - Well worth my time and money!I have used the calm app and others similar but not gotten much value out of it. I am a fan of guided meditations but do also like the options for directed sound “free range” meditations. I decided to use the trial period to explore multiple meditation modes and really loved the different feelings invoked for healing vs creativity vs beyond the physical. I feel this is helping me break down my fear of the unknown and get in touch with the real me. This app has been worth every penny so far. My only wish is that the Monroe Institute add more guided meditations. I do mix them up and I’m at about 1 hour of meditation a day which has enhanced my quality of life significantly. As a result of this app I decided to read Robert Monroe’s books which further opened my eyes to the infinite. I cannot express my gratitude to the Institute for making this technology and methodology available without having to go to the institute itself. So grateful this is available!I have been using binaural beats technology since 1996, after my first visit the the Monroe Institute and their famous sensory isolation chamber. My experience in that chamber was so unique that I purchased all the available materials and used them to practice. Over the years I narrowed does my use to 5 or 6 tracks on a regular basis, to good effects. With this app and its ability to custom design your own sessions, I’ve been encouraged to explore more. This technology complements my Buddhist practice quite well, to get in touch with Inner Peace, calm the chattering mind, connect with repressed feelings…. Amazing!This app is truly exceptional. I have been using it every single day for more than two months and it’s so amazing the amount of benefits I have experienced. Wow I’m in aweI’ve used raw binaural beats for some time before deciding why not just try the originator of the gateway method. It’s 70$. Started having some profound experiences bordering on odd. Thank You Monroe InstituteThis app is worth its purpose and value. Navigating it was a little tricky at first but it has the functions necessary to find and save the preferred content. So many sources for similar content are available but I have loved what the Monroe Institute was offered even before this app was released. Only minor nuisance is after listening to a program and returning to the app, the screen is shaky, sometimes needing to be relaunched. Other than that, no problems. Life changingThis is my first app review and I have been using apps since 2007, so 16 years. I love a lot of apps but this one…has changed my life. I am having out of body experiences, I am having visions and experiences that I cannot even put into words. I am given knowledge and wisdom and answers to life’s questions. I know that I am creating my reality and I can manifest whatever I want. Life is so good. I have been ‘doing the work’ for over 10 years, healed from ptsd after a psilocybin healing journey (2 years ago) led me to many answers including curing my skin cancer with a plant. I recently started doing my meditations in the morning. Supplies: eye mask, noise canceling headphones and a small dose of plant ganja after a cup of coffee. This seems to be my sweet spot to flyyyyy and connect to Source/One. I love the focus self guided ones with no distracting sounds (besides the technology sounds) and I set it to 120 min and go until I have a knowing that I’m done. It’s always at least an hour. Many times I have to just lay here and integrate everything that happened. It’s wild and amazing. I have been keeping another dose of healing psilocybin on hand for when I feel called again, but I just got my answer. They have given me all I need. These Expand experiences remind me of my healing journey. I am working on healing chronic pain. I feel it is stuck energy/trapped emotions that need to process out. I’m on a mission to figure this out. I keep waiting to be led to the answer. I know I will find it and I will heal. I’m creating my reality. I want to mention that I had a few questions before I upgraded so I emailed customer service. Paul Citarella was incredibly helpful. I have had the free version close to a year and needed confirmation that it would be what I was looking for, and wow, wow, WOW. DisappointedI am a fan of the original Monroe Institute hemi-sync tech. I have several of their products. I expected more from this app. Only some have the Monroe sound. There is no way to filter the available recordings. If there is a five star one I haven’t found it. They all seem to be four stars which can’t be possible. The most recent one I sampled was AWFUL! Horrible guide, only a few minutes of music the rest of the time it was just silent, so when the guide’s voice sounded it startled me a couple of times. Not relaxing or helpful.
