Impressively interactive, cute, and self-awareI have tried many of these genre of pet-collective and cute rpgs, but the free mobile game platform fails to make these genre feel complete. However, with Purrfect Tales this is not the case. There is an interactive story that is surprisingly encapsulating, although it is nothing spectacular, it is really enjoyable and let’s you get attached to the characters of the game. The cat collecting aspect is just like you will see in other games, though it is a slow development of collecting cats, I believe this is a good thing because it keeps you interested in the game and your screen is not cluttered. In terms of the ads and ad-related rewards, I find this game to be fairly appropriate in that respect. They are not spamming you with ads and the ads are not mandatory for an enjoyable experience. The only thing I think this game can improve upon is the content. I was able to complete the content in the game within 1 day. I binged it, to be fair, and I am eagerly awaiting act 2 as I really enjoy the story (which is not something I can say for any other mobile game I have played). Though I do understand this is something that really takes time and effort to complete, especially with the interactive elements of the story. If you are thinking of getting this game, you will be pleasantly surprised with how good it is. This game is truly honest of what they send people to see and have many more awesome things! Good gameThe censored words can get a bit out of hand like cute or adorable is censored when I don’t know how that can be taken wrong. I love the system to get hearts it’s very good compared to other games I’ve played! The texting system it really slow I wish that would speed up a tad. The claw machine it like a real one I like the how if it’s bigger it can be hard for the claw to pick up but it can be difficult when it takes 5 time to get one big one when you grab it perfectly. The stories are good the puzzles are good not too hard or too easy The story is really relatable to me especially the toughest parts in the MCs life the ads are what caught my attention very well made props to whoever did those. Fun, cute, interesting, and a little sadI love the game so far. The art is beautiful and I love how we have the option to watch ads to get free rewards! There’s a gacha aspect to it too, but isn’t heavily focused on it. The storyline itself is interactive, fun, and has some sad reality to it. Slight spoilers about the storyline, the main girl (who you play) goes through a few things such as realizing that she wants to do art instead of school. Like reality, there is backlash. “Art won’t make you money” or even “you are wasting your time drawing”. Adorable! But There is a Problem….I’ll start off with the thing that ruins the game. It’s an ad that is shown, more specifically the one that shows up on this game about MeChat. On that add, they are playing spin the bottle but it keeps landing on this one girl and she is slowly taking off her clothing each times it lands on her. Then, the hand is indecisive about either telling her to remove her bra or panties. This game is marked for 12+ but I feel that ad should not be shown to that age group. Other than the horny MeChat ads, I am absolutely in love with this game. The add type is adorable, the story is really cute, yet it makes you think. I love the characters, especially Oliver. I love how ads are an optional thing if you want to get additional rewards. It’s not being shoved down your throat and you can enjoy the game ad free if you want. Furthermore, even after you finish the story, there are many side stories to complete which keeps you interested. I like to play this game before bed because it really does calm me down. This app is so amazing but it has a few things I think need fixedNow if you played this game you know it’s a really cute game even if you don’t buy anything on it it’s still really cute and there’s lots of variety for everybody. But I have a few suggestions one I think the shop stuff is extremely expensive for only a few items I get you need the money or that you’re making money out of it but I want to be able to spend five or six bucks and get a few things on here but it would cost me like 40 bucks. I also think it’s really hard to clean up the rooms when you wanted to redecorate because there is no option to just clear out the room and you have to do it all one by one. Cute, Imaginative, Wonderful GamePurrfect Tale is among my favorite games! The art is admirable, and the game can be a little sad and frustrating at first but as you move on through the story it gets better and has a more cheerful and cute perspective. The storyline itself is creative and imaginative, and has some sad reality to go with it. I love this about the game because it carries out a meaningful plot, and with the wonderful art to go with it, I have always felt the need to see and feel all the wonderful details of life. The Claw…I started playing this game last night and so far I love how cute the art style is and everything, my biggest issues are things such as the claw and how hard it is to gain hearts. With the claw machine, it is beyond frustrating that I cannot get anything. Literally. I pick up the capsule egg thing and it just drops. Even normal claw machines atleast pick stuff up sometimes. I’ve watched ads twice because I figured it may have been replicating a real claw machine and stuff, but after 15 tries, and the only time I was able to win was in the claw machine tutorial, I decided to come leave a review and hopefully try to get it fixed. My other issue is how long it takes just to unlock another day of the story. You need more and more hearts, but you can’t buy new clothes to activate wecat because you still don’t have enough hearts. not to mention, after spending ten minutes playing after the initial playing of the game, there isn’t much to do unless you want to purchase things or just keep watching ads. Overall, it’s just disappointing because the game is very cute with a wonderful idea and art style but if the game play gets boring or is unrewarding then it is hard to want to keep playing..00011110000Version: 1.4.0

Really good but has a few minor issuesThe game is an amazing experience and I adore it, it is one of my favorite games and I love the storyline and all of the characters. The designs are absolutely fantastic and everything else is just as good. There are a few things wrong about this game though: one of the mini games. In act 2, 08 there is a shooter mini game, it is extremely fun to do and the concept is great but there are problems such as the fact that the shooters will be able to shoot you from off of the main camera of what you are shown. I do not know if this was intentional or not but it was annoying to play through. The speed at which the scope moves is a bit too slow making it hard to shoot at enemies while they are shooting at you. One other thing is that the icons that you press to go to certain things such as your inventory, special events, etc. do seem a bit cluttered and up-front but otherwise, this is an amazing and engaging game..Randomhoomanbeing5Version: 2.0.0

Super cute cat game!I really love this game, and after only playing for 5 days I’m already pretty obsessed with it. I keep coming back to check on my cats, and I really love the story! The drawings are adorable and the story is really wholesome too, plus the outfits are cute and you can make your rooms super pretty. The only thing that gets annoying about this game is that it can be quite hard to get stuff sometimes. It’s pretty hard to get hearts without watching adds every 10 minutes, and getting cod and hearts to buy stuff can be difficult, as well as getting stuff from the claw machine. I’m pretty lucky with this stuff, and as I don’t really mind watching adds it’s not as hard as it could be for me. But the fact that getting currency is so difficult unless you watch tons of adds is a turn off. Maybe make it easier to get cod and hearts? My favorite cat keeping game!I’ve tried a few “cat keeping” games, but this one has been my favorite. the feature that pushes it over the edge for me is the interactive story mode. i get bored of games quickly, but the story keeps me interested my only complaint is how difficult it is to get hearts. i was fine with the “watch ads for hearts” thing at first, but now that’s basically the only way i get hearts and im pretty tired of it. i wanted to rate 5 stars because i still love the game, but please please PLEASE add more ways to get hearts!!!! if you’re thinking of getting the game, you should!! the pros really outweighs the cons, it’s so cute!! Crashing problemsSo I’ve looked at many of the other reviews for this game, and for the most part, everyone has given it a good rating IF they were actually able to play it. however, all of the critical reviews were 95% ppl complaining that the game would keep crashing and they weren’t even able to get past the loading screen. I’ve seen a lot of reviews like this for other games before, however, my device has been able to handle all of those apps pretty well. this was the first app that I have experienced crashing problems as mentioned by the 1 star reviews. Cool game (please read)NGL this is a great game. It doesn’t force ads onto you. Yeah you gotta watch them if you want like a double reward or something but yeah. Good overall…The game is really cute and fun! I like the concept of most of it but there’s an issue with getting hearts, the claw machine, and overall progressing. The game gives you one heart each 17 hours although the next chapter needs 30. The only other way to get hearts is to watch ads, but each ad is like 30-50 seconds long!!! And after you watch the ad you only get 3 hearts. And even with that, 3 hearts are barely anything!! ( I think you see the problem with that. ) The claw machine also rips you off so badly. You can literally have the ball cupped in the claw and the claw just opens. It doesn’t even try to make it seem like it slipped it just drops it. When you don’t go to the next chapter it’s just really hard to progress. You can’t do that much because if you try to do anything it all just connects back into unlocking the next chapter. I feel like there’s too much ads and too little heart rewards. Purchasing packs are an option but I’m only a highschool student with no job. I cannot do that. It’s amazing!!The story is really interesting and fun, I can’t wait for the next chapter! It’s cool you get to have other things then just the story, and the hearts make you want to keep going! I really like the design and the cuties. I love this game but…Ok first this game is absolutely amazing, if you haven’t already downloaded this, please do! I love how you’re able to decorate things, and raise the cats and the art is just super adorable! I love the storyline so far and how they depicted her struggling with high school was nicely shown. It’s really cool how you are also able to design your home and dress up your character, it lets you express yourself in the game! I think the crane machine they added in was a nice touch as well! Boring.So this app is fun, I love the character designs and how kawaii they are, I just love the whole concept! But one particular thing that bugs me is the fact that I cannot go to Act 2. I've seen other people do it, so why can't I? The tutorials say that if it does not work my app probably needs an update, but unfortunately I cannot update Purrfect Tale. I am extremely disappointed. Very Much Enjoyable!I love this app so much! When the story is being told, I express emotions towards it. It actually gets very relatable at some points and I can connect to it. The mini-games when you have to make sure you don’t get caught by the teacher or when you are running away from home are really fun! And challenging. This story is almost like a slice of life, but also like a fantasy. Which, I love both genres! I also really love the design/style of the app. Such as the characters, like Oliver, and our OC! Great but could be slightly betterHonestly i love the game, the story, the art, and all the features. But theres small things that just annoy me. 1. the ads. yes im fine with the ads, the lengths aren’t too long and the rewards are fine aswell. But its always a gamble. Sometimes I watch a whole ad and end up not being able to click out of it. Then i have to refresh the game and i dont get the reward intended in the end. this sometimes happens 1-3 times in a row before it actually works. it is quite frustrating. 2. the messaging mechanic. i love this feature. i like talking to the characters as if i was really talking to them, but they take FOREVER just to finish their sentence! every time they message you, they won’t message another until you check it, and most of the time they have MULTIPLE messages to send! DEVS PLS READ THIS 🙏Changes since I’ve started playingAlright, I downloaded this game the day it was released and I loved it, I still do, however over time I realized things started to get expensive. The little season passes cost over $10 n the other stuff in the store is also expensive. Whenever i play, after about 10 minutes my phone already feels like it’s overheating and then it eventually crashes. Could be my phone, idk, but it makes me unmotivated to play it. I also noticed that whenever i go to watch an ad to earn extra rewards, at the very end of the ad, the X never shows up, so i have to end up fully closing out of the game, with no extra rewards. Amazing! But one thing…I absolutely fell in love with this game after my friend recommended it to me. The story, art, and animations are beautiful, and the cats are cute! The interactive mini games in the stories are fun as well. One thing though, I wish their were more female cats to date, since Bangs cat is the only one, and technically their just friends. The male cats are great and all, but I just wish we could be able to date cats of a different gender. That’s just me personally though. I think that if you did add dateable female cats though it could help with the diversity and choices in the game and maybe you could add special stories as well. OverallI have been playing this game for a while and I love it so far. The art style is amazing and it is very cute to interact with. However I do have some suggestions: 1 - During the events there are a lot of items that are not available unless you pay for them so I would like to request that more free items are available for those who are not able to pay. 2 - The catcha machine is a wonderful part of the game and I love all of the prizes that you can win. Cute but could be betterTLDR; cute but OH GOD THE ADS!! The characters and art style are super cute, the story is engaging in its own way. The problems the main character goes through are relatable, too (minus the whole cat turning human thing, lol). Unfortunately, it eats through my battery like a snickers bar 😭 In a matter of 20 minutes, it brings my 80% battery down to 15%. I can expect that from a game like Genshin Impact, NOT from a game like Purrfect Tale. Adding to that, I’d still give it 4 stars if those 20 minutes of the app being open were 20 full minutes of gameplay, but I’m lucky if there’s even 5 included in there. The number of ads is RIDICULOUs! Granted, you can avoid them since you’re just offered rewards and chances to triple them if you watch an ad. Unfortunately, the original prize is so meager you’d be lucky to make any progress at all in a whole week by watching no ads. You are offered ‘skip ad’ TICKETS (no one-time purchase to rid you of ads) when you purchase them or certain other packages with REAL MONEY. But that really grinds my gears, I really would just prefer to pay a price upfront and enjoy the game without that whole hassle. It’s pretty good but something needs to be done about the heartsI love the art style and it’s a really cute game but the only way to keep going in the story is to have a sufficient amount of hearts. It’s like 30 hearts per chapter and the chapters aren’t even that long. Not to mention the way to earn hearts is hard too…either you have to use the claw machine (which isn’t a guarantee bc it doesn’t always grab a prize/a prize that has hearts) or you have to watch multiple ads, only getting 3 hearts and then having to wait for 10 min to get more hearts or to keep waiting till the next days logins or the cats to give you chances which all isn’t all the time. The fish are kinda not needed if half of the items to buy also take up hearts. here are some possibilities to make it just an overall better experience: -give us more hearts after every chapter -make each chapter less expensive (it’s like 30 hearts that’s way too much) -make hearts easier to get -keep hearts for the chapters and make fish be the main currency to buy the clothing items and extra stuff I get that the app needs to make money by the ads and so that people will keep logging back in and buy their packages but i really wanna be able to play this game longer than just like 5 minutes/I wanna be able to enjoy the game more than my time with the game just be watching ads.Mango and kiwi icecreamVersion: 1.4.0

Super wholesome and funI’ve had this game for around a month now and I really love it. To anyone wanting to download, keep in mind that progress is slow moving at first. You start off with only one cat and to get cod you have to rely on taking care of that one cat until eventually you unlock more. The more cats you get, the easier it is to get cod, and progress starts moving much quicker. I love the interactive story too. It’s very cute and fun to play and I’m excited for the next chapter (I’m all caught up!) My only complaint is that the game struggles to load ads. That may seem like a weird complaint, but in the game you have a lot of opportunities to watch ads to receive double income, but most of the time when you click to play the ad it will say “Ad is loading, please try again later.” I always have to wait a couple minutes and then go back and try to play the ad, and sometimes even then it still won’t play. It’s very frustrating cause the income that you get without watching an ad is usually very low, so watching the ad is worth it to me, but it won’t let me watch it! Other than that, I’m really enjoying the game. Super cute but could improve decorating!This game is adorable! When I saw that ad, I was excited to get it since I have been playing Animal Restaurant for several years. My only complaint is I would love if we could put objects on tables while decorating, as well as have the option to rotate items. To me, customization is one of the best parts of a game, whether it’s decorating or customizing your character, and I hope we can get more advanced options in the future! Another thing I think could be a great addition is having other ways to earn hearts and cod, similar to the minigames available in Animal Restaurant, or having something that produces cod, other than the food bowl. For example, when you unlock more facilities in Animal Restaurant, they increase the amount of cod dropped, and I think it would be cool to have a somewhat similar upgrade system! AmazingThis is one of the best games Ive ever played. I love how you can go back and watch them again. I love all the interaction in the game and that your choices don’t affect it very often and you can change it if you go back. It makes it relaxing and you don’t have to stress that your making the right choice. (We do that in real life enough as it is.) I love the storyline and Oliver is super cute and not just as a cat. Just a one issue!!I love this game a ton, no matter how long i may go without playing it or how many times i delete for storage reasons i ALWAYS end up redownloading it, the relaxing aesthetics and gameplay are always so comforting<3 the only problem i have is with the Stroll function and the fashion studio. I’m in love with Oli- I mean this game!I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME. It started off a little slow because I only had Gumi and Oliver and like nothing to do between parts of the story, which I had to save up hearts for. Pretty Neat and Cute Game!I just got this game on its release and it has been a great experience so far! I love how the story is interactive and so relaxing. It’s awesome just a few things!!I love the art style and fun story, it’s fun to keep up with the funny and slice of life type story! I love the different variety of money too, hearts and cod!! Buggy, “pay to play”The game designs and art are adorable, the storyline is great but needs work. For example, no matter what choice you pick it will be the exact same dialogue either way. Yes some people love the interactive design but personally it would have saved you a lot of time to just not do choices. Cute Game, but has lots of bugs/crashesSo I had this game for a while now: it has various issues. On my older iPhone XS the game would at first play really well, however shortly after you would load up at the main screen, the game would crash and shut me out of the app. Sometimes just freeze on the screen for hours. Now my issue is that earning hearts to progress in the story either requires money payments or watch ads. There’s very little way to earn any hearts otherwise. Keeps kicking me outI love the game but it keeps crashing and kicking me out of stroll, the cook and when I’m trying to watch ads to claim things. When it crashes while trying to watch an ad to obtain double the amount of something for an event I can’t try to claim it again after it crashes and therefore leaves me with nothing claimed. I even have to try multiple times to get into the app because it crashes in the opening scene sometimes :( At first it wasn’t this severe but now it’s literally a miracle if I can even enter in the game. When I first downloaded the game it didn’t kick me out too much but as time went on it kicked me out more but I could still get in the game and up to a few days ago it took quite a long time for the game to load but I could usually still get in but now it takes time to load and also kicks me out. So I have to wait for it to load before I find out if I’ll be kicked out or not. Another thing is, if somehow I get in and try to view information about the new “carnival raffle” event it kicks me out so I can’t participate in the event and can’t even view the rules. Super Cute Game. One Huge Issue.Besides the propaganda, this game has another huge issue relating to the way they handle player concerns and address bugs. There was a recent bug with the Dream Event / Red Flower Event that allowed players to get a lot of cod, hearts, and flowers. The currency of the players who took advantage of the glitch was reset (fair) However, they got reset AGAIN a week after the glitch was patched. There was no way that people could be exploiting the glitch after the patch, and some people lost currency that they paid real money for. There was no announcements, warnings, or reasoning sent out for any of this.
