Five BN gamesI have played HOGs, off and on, for many years now. Usually stopping because no new titles were out there or the ones that were, were too juvenile or just not interesting. Recently I came across Five BN games and decided to give them a try. I started with Lost Lands and completed that series. Next I played through New York Mysteries and now I am playing Darkness and Flames. I will say that Five BN games are the most intriguing, most interesting and most attention holding games ever. They are artistic, creative and have great story lines. I am 71 yo and play your games every day because they are challenging and make me think and remember the story line. Also I love the music and ambient audio and often pause in a world just to listen because it sounds so nice. It would be great if you produced a “Five BN Sound Track”. I finished all parts of D&FI'm on the second installment of Lost Lands now. These games have helped me get through a lot of boredom the last few days. They are fun, if a bit frustrating at times because not all of the solutions are necessarily logical conclusions. After a while, you get used to the game logic and it gets easier to know what the game probably wants you to do with the items. But the mini-games can be frustrating regardless, especially when your only option after an error is to restart the whole puzzle. My only real critique is that the "back" button should be a little bit farther out from center, as it covers parts of the mini-games/other stuff that makes it really easy to lose your progress (when playing on a phone), because sometimes the pieces are right behind it/next to it. I know these games probably won't get a big update like that, just keep that in mind if you're gonna play. That said, I gave this game five stars for a reason. It's fun, there is a truly exceptional amount of content for a free game, and the art and story are interesting. D&F packs a lot of world-building into a small game without making you read for hours which was refreshing. The amount of puzzles/mini-games is wild compared to other free puzzle/escape-the-room type games. For a point & click, the Darkness & Flames games are some of the best I've played. Surprisingly addictingI’ve been playing the D&F series for hours every day ever since I found it. It’s a really exceptional amount of free content with 0 unsolicited ads, which is a huge plus for me. The story isn’t great and neither is the voice acting, but that’s not really important for this kind of game. The environments are interesting and varied, there’s also bonus levels that elaborate on the main story when you finish. The only critiques I have are that sometimes the objects you need to find, are blended to well into the environment and can make it challenging to tell what’s background and what’s part of the game. Additionally, the puzzles do get repetitive if you play multiple installments. Not all of the puzzle solutions seem entirely logical, but play enough, and you start to understand the games logic. This is the only free to download app I’ve played in years that has zero unwanted ads. You have the option to earn a free Kent coin by watching an ad, but it’s optional, and not obnoxious, and the ads are only for other games made by the same developer, several of which I intend to try.TheGasser420Version: 1.1.1

Fun and different!I like the story premise, and the flame bird is beautiful. It’s the usual defeat the darkness kind of game, but then 99% are. There are morphing objects and collectibles in each scene. Lots of things to do, and you go back to scenes later in the game, which I personally like. I dislike it when you complete one or two scenes at a time and then you’re done; not much adventure in that! Great mini games, not ridiculously hard but not easy either. The hos scenes are interactive and a joy to play. They really add to the “adventure” aspect of the game. I’ve played the next one in this series, and it takes off where this one ends. Loyal fanI love all games released by this developer! I am less patient than I used to be now in my older age, so I really appreciate the puzzles of these games because they’re relaxing enough for me. Once in a while they have puzzles that require dexterity or speed, but luckily not too often. The graphics of this particular game is superior to all the previous ones, which I appreciate quite a lot as a graphics snob. Lastly, I realllllly appreciate the FTP games. Five-BN games are my favorite!I think I have found and played all your games. The stories are interesting; the graphics are wonderful; the animation is interesting pulling the story together; and best of all are the puzzles. The puzzles range from easy to challenging. When I find a clue but cannot pick it up, later I cannot remember which of the 15 or so sites I should go. I use the option to watch an ad to tell me where to go. Beautiful GameI’ve been playing hidden mystery adventure games for years. This one is the most challenging yet beautiful one I’ve ever played. The background music is wonderful and soothing, and there’s an actual story to it. I never have to use hints because most of these games are exactly the same, but I’ve been stuck/lost at least 5 times and have had to use a hint, which speaks to the challenge of the game. Best puzzle game!This has been the best puzzle game I have ever played. The puzzles are challenging, the graphics are detailed and beautiful, the storyline is interesting and the puzzles aren’t just your typical “guess the order of numbers” type. The graphics are phenomenal, story line interesting and it’s just difficult enough but not so much that you get discouraged. Negative: I think because it’s a larger game, the map should show where a person has activities. Too much time passes before using some inventory items…and many rooms. In other words, a person can walk around with a fish..in their inventory, having grabbed it several frames back..completed puzzles…travelled..Now I have to find where I found it…frustrating. The hint button is too easy to press by accident! I wasted 2 free ones….Also, it doesn’t help me when it circles the arrow button; So I have to leave the room?…It should show you exactly where..always.
