Random Day is your assistant in mental health. Our goal is to provide people with a simple way to prevent stress and burnout in a game format by getting novel experience. The approach is based on the psychological researches of creating diverse experience every day whether it's writing by the left hand or making a gift to your partner.
Even though burnout is not considered a mental illness, it is still an issue that affects people’s lives a lot nowadays.
According to WHO, Burnout is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. So as we see, if we keep stress under control, follow it on a daily basis, we can prevent it. That’s why our approach is based on small every day activities bringing novel experience switching the brain from regular routine and RandomDay app will help you with that providing such activities every day.
We ask only for a few minutes to explore new activities. Getting new experience creates new neural connections and crates resistance to burnouts. You will:

Is it another one meditation app?
Not exactly. We give a simple way to start preventing burnout and don’t require to listen to big meditations or fill emotional diaries. It’s very simple to try as we provide a service in a game format. RandomDay gives novel experience every day so everyone can feel the effect after the first usage. Even starting to think about the new experience is already a good result.
Even though it’s a service in a game format, there is science behind it. The approach is based on different researches in neuroscience. New and varied experiences are broadly beneficial for the brain. It can be something really small like trying to write a sentence with a left hand or listening a song in a language you don’t know. When you finish doing it a brain gets a signal of a reward and releases dopamine. That reaction works great for mental well-being.

How does it work?
RandomDay works very simple. First you need to set up your avatar and press Start to get your random card. A card can be changed, liked/disliked. After you accept it, you take a record of performing it, it's automatically saved to a calendar. After you complete 6 cards you get a bonus report.
