It’s cute but…It’s cute and honestly a cool app but i wish you didn’t have a set amount of songs. now i understand that the unlimited isn’t that much however i think it would be cool if we had unlimited but to do more customization to the things on the app like the vinyl that would cost money. i usually listen to music every night and i hate that when i listen to the music it’s going to waste my songs. i would buy the unlimited, however my icloud account isn’t connected to my card. so, my only problem is the fact that i have a set amount and can’t really change it, and i think it would be cool to add some customization to the app like changing the color of the vinyl. Great appThis is a really great app. I recommend spending the few dollars for a more expansive use of the widgets such as the record player widget, the radio widget or the vinyl widget. You can customize each to a different color and sizes; overall you just get more customizable options when you pay the few dollars which I love. My only complaint is that the widget sometimes doesn’t show what song is playing like sometimes it’ll show the song that was previously played and not the current song that is playing. But it can be easily fixed when you go into the app. This is only a small issue so I will give credit where it’s due and keep it at 5 stars!.Grip on 2000Version: 1.9.6

Love!! just a few notes for the creatorsI love this widget and found premium to be worth it to me! I have it on my ipad and phone. The only thing is sometimes i cannot get the app to update to what is currently playing. Usually if i restart my device or something i can eventually get it to catch up, but it’s a little annoying sometimes. BUT i love the graphics sm and i would really love to see y’all put out like a full screen option! Sort of like a screen saver, like you’ve added to the new ios17 StandBy mode. Transparent FeatureI enjoy this app! It doesn’t always update immediately, but when you interact with it, it changes. My biggest gripe with it is that I would love an option to have a transparent background available! I think the current options are a little ugly with my wallpaper. Other widgets have features where you could upload a screenshot of your wallpaper and the position of the widget, and it makes it look fully blended. I would do anything for that in this app! I found other vinyl widget apps with the feature and really loved it, but they only had Apple Music as an option, so I couldn’t use them instead..~ chloe ~Version: 1.10.3

Great!!! But….The widget is amazing, it’s just a little something to have, I find it very worth it but… Even tho the song covers are by default and it’s what I chose, the covers are sometimes never my favorite, more importantly the background, the blurry part, it looks nice sometimes and compliments my Home Screen/wallpaper but sometimes it doesn’t, (my Home Screen is many low tones, and when a bright cover plays it looks so weird) it’d be nice if there was an option to change background to a single color or any custom background of the widget!!! Good appI rarely write reviews but I love this widget. Its really cute to just have and i havent had any issues with playing besides needing to click the widget everytime I want to start listening to music instead of it automatically starting. Theres also a limit to the songs you can play with the vinyl showing which wasn’t a big problem until i realized it counted a song playing if i accidentally skipped or decided not to listen to that song. Great app but fix the bugsI really like the concept of the app and how it works and looks like but there are a few things that need to be fixed. First of all, when a new song starts, the widget doesn’t automatically change, it takes a few seconds to change or if the app is opened, after close it, it’ll change. Vibe Widget aesthetic but slow :(I'm giving 3.5-4ish because I love this widget on my screen, although I use the vibe more than the vinyl because the vinyl has a set maximum number of songs. The only thing about the vibe widget is that it's not up to date to the songs I'm currently playing unless I actually click into the app. So it's always stuck on one song when I've been listening to a whole playlist. Love the concept but there’s just a little bugThe whole idea is great and I made a home screen page just with the big square widget and then the one with just the control buttons. There’s just this weird bug that when you press one of the buttons on the controls, it does something like it begins to open the app but then cancels and it looks bad and just ruins the whole experience. If this bug was fixed on the widgets, i’d give 5stars because i just love the custom music player idea. Cool but not nearly enough customization options.Considering I paid for a single widget and this app offers nothing more, I really think there should be more customizable options for the record player. Only 4 colors are available (back, white, “blur” and orange - which is so random lol) so I think a color wheel would be a nice touch, along with the option to make it transparent so that it can blend with the wallpaper. Your competitors also allow you to change a lot more, such as choosing different fonts and picking what you want to show- like if you want just the song title or just the artist name or if you want to include the album title too. There is even an option on some as far as if you want the hand to show. I would give 5 stars if customizing was better. I knew it was limited but picked this app over the others based on the reviews. Not workingI'm a premium member and initially I did enjoy having this app installed. However, after coming back to it and attempting to change the display of the widget, the app stopped working. I've been trying to change it from the radio to the vinyl display with no avail. The app has also stopped displaying the correct song. AMAZING WIDGETSThe widgets are super amazing!! They look super cool and you can control your music unlike Spotify’s widgets. The only thing is that even with the app open sometime when the next song comes on you have to click on the widget and go to the app for it to realize the new song came on and update the widget image. Very cool but…I got this widget because a friend told me. it’s one of the coolest widgets i have. sure it glitches from time to time, but it’s a beautiful and cool widget that completes my home screen. it was only today where THAT message appeared on the app. When you play 100 songs using the widget, it stops displaying on your home screen. Very nearly perfect!I would give 4.5, and I only have one tiny complaint: why doesn’t the background match whatever album is playing? You can choose between white, orange, and grey. Doesn’t work with AirPlayThe app is pretty nice. One of those fun things to have instead of being a necessity. I listen to music a lot by AirPlaying to speakers around my house, and the app is unable to detect when I have music playing. If I play off my phone, (probably headphones as well, haven’t tested that) it seems to work just fine. Awesome. However…Digital media is compressed, meaning that information stored is compressed. Music as well. I’m wondering if in converting digital to vinyl, the music is still compressed. It’s really great!While I can understand the frustrations of people that used it as a free app and now find themselves having to pay for it, I was honestly happy to pay the 6.99 for perpetual use. The live vinyl spinning and widget is adorable, and I was going to recommend the ability to skip ahead in the song from the app but I discovered you can by moving the arm or tapping on a spot near the arm which is a really cute touch. Plus! The widget comes with more skins than just vinyl. I’m stingy too but I’m happy to support the app and hope some more cute features come. Deleting the appI just updated the app and now it’s saying to “unlock all features & widgets” that’s crazy because just before the update most of the features and updates that you are now asking money for were FREE! Yeah 1.99 isn’t much but still. The update just traded the use of most of the widget for a full screen vinyl that you can use when you open the app…the point of the app was for the use of the free vinyl widgets for your homescreen. I really wanted to like these widgetsThe best part of this app is that the widgets are beautifully designed and look great on your Home Screen. FYI these are all PAID features. Don’t get this app if you aren’t willing to spend 3.99. Unfortunately the app is very poorly coded. Widgets should seamlessly work in the background to provide you with a visually appealing icon for your Home Screen. Let me tell you what you will get with this widget: When you play a song. The widget will still show the song as paused, until you tap the widget, then it updates and the record starts to spin. Did you change to a new album? The widget will still show the album art for the old album, again, until you tap on it to update it. I don’t want to have to tap on the widget every single time just to see my current music. It’s now a chore instead of something that looks nice. (Yes I have background app refresh turned on) Looking at other reviews going back a few months, others have complained about this, and the developer has been saying its limitations with iOS 16. Well as of the time of this review I am on iOS 17.0.3 and this is still an issue 🤷‍♂️ Also, when you play and pause a song, it has this ugly choppy animation while the app executes the command. I’m sure there exists a way to code it such that the play and pause and skip can be pressed without opening your own app, then connecting to Spotify, then executing the command, it really just looks unprofessional and takes away from the premium feel of the widget. In order to justify the 3.99 price tag of premium which I unfortunately had to refund I would reccomend improving the widget such that it automatically starts to play or pause or whatever on its own, without the user having to physically tap on it. And try to have the pause button etc. just be pressed and that’s it, no ugly unintentional choppy flicker-y animation. I’m not a programmer so I can’t speak on the difficulty of achieving that but all I know is that other widgets don’t experience this issue. Do NOT buy pleaseThe widget options are really cool but it jitters when you press the skip, pause, and replay button but you can turn the buttons off, and the only other issue which i hate a lot is you have to have the app open in order for the widget to update what songs your playing if the app is swiped out and not open then it wont update at all which really sucks.
