Great app, but..!All the features inside "Settings > General" are not usable and all the knobs are always off. If I turn on any knob/feature, and go back, it automatically turns off. I guess it might be version compatibility issue. Please fix this soon! Best app on my phone for yearsI've been using this app since 2009. Aside from the pre-installed iPhone apps, this may be the only app that has never left my first home screen. I can look up my every expense in the last 6 years in seconds on my phone. It's heaven for one with an OCD mindset. Entries are very quick. Maybe 10 seconds. Especially with vendors you've used before. I hope it keeps getting compatibility updates alongside iOS updates. I'd be willing to pay again for a visual overhaul (the app looks very outdated design-wise) but the functionality is most important and in that respect, it's simple and solid as a rock..SprackoVersion: 5.1

Opening my eyesHave been using it about 2 weeks and have entered all my income and expenses going back to Jan 1. Very impressed with ease of use and reports with great visual graphics. Very easy to customize. If I enter a vendor or payer I've used before it will automatically fill in categories and payment method I used before which saves time and I can change it if needed. You have to enter your transactions so there's a commitment required on your part but if you're serious about wanting to know where you are financially, this is a great, easy and visually nice tool. I was going to use Mint but I don't want to connect my checking and credit card to an app on my phone. I'm not that lazy or that trusting. Entering this info myself makes me more conscious of what I'm spending and earning. I can see in real time how my credit card spending compares with income so I stay in the green and CC bill is not a shock. I also love seeing how income amounts compare from various clients and other sources. Very useful and helpful if you are diligent in using it. I spent mostly with CC and checks so not much can fall through the cracks. Also love that it will remind me to log my spending if I haven't made any entries by evening. The best budget app in my opinion!I love this app soo much! I've had it for three days and have tried three other budget apps as well. Here is why I recommend this one: 1) It is fully functional in the free version. It limits the number of expense entries to 200, but that's it. You can do EVERYTHING ELSE. :) 2) Holy wow this app is versatile. From the number of accounts and budgets you can make to what you can get them to do - I love it. I have one "budget" that just tracks my credit card charges every month. 3) I like how customizable it is. I can add expense categories, change the icons, choose where to have certain sub-categories. I really like it. 4) The auto-fill is extremely handy!u If I go grocery shopping at Kroger a lot and always use my debit card, the app knows that and will automatically input the category and payment type as soon as I enter Kroger as the vendor. Very handy. 5) Perhaps most important of all, EXELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I couldn't figure out how to get my payments onto my credit card to stop showing up as part of my cash flow (my credit card is one of my "accounts"), so I emailed them and got a really helpful reply in less than 24 hours. If you want a good budget app (and especially if you are like me and do NOT want to have to upgrade to iOS 5), get this one. Perfect, Absolute NecessityI track ALL incomes and expenses, so I hit the 200 mark in a few months. Inputs take seconds. Full version purchase was totally worth it. This app takes the "at a glance" notion and sprints with it, leaving a burning trail of awesomeness. The functionality of this app is really quite amazing with bar/pie graph display options and a host of easy to use features. I've been an avid user almost a year and am still learning new functions. Great expense tracking application!I have downloaded most lite expense trackers, and this is the second best application. It tracks VAT and currencies. It has a unique display of what you have in the main screen. The reports are very good (but not the best) and very useful (some applications have useless reports!). Expenses can be downloaded to excel, which is very good, both for backing up purposes and for further analysis (but what you spent is gone!). What I wish it had is account tracking, for example, if you could enter debit, credit and checking accounts, and track money sent from one to the other as well as cash in your wallet, you'd know where every cent is. There's an application that handles that, but the green display of what you have is awesome here. Also, this one has the currency tracking feature. Best app I've ever downloadedI run a couple small businesses and with this iPhone app we can do all of our accounting on my phone... I have never used an app better than this out of the hundreds I've downloaded. I can't thank you makers enough it's perfect. You guys thought of everything and then let me try it for free to the point I could figure out how to use it. Will be purchasing the full version as soon as I hit my limit on this one. $4.99 for an app with as much power as this so cheap. Expense/Budget Application redefinedThis app is customization to the max. It is so awesome that it had everything I wanted. Install it and try to do something and 99% chances that you will be able to do it. It can do more than what the description of the app says. Inconsistent with how many items it allows.I don't know if this is a bug, or a ploy to get you to buy the full version. But when I first loaded this on my Touch, it only allowed 3 entires before I got the "purchase" reminder. I uninstalled, then reinstalled and then I was able to get the full 10 allowed. However, on my iPhone, it will only allow 1 entry. That's right ONE, before getting the purchase reminder. I uninstallled and reinstalled and rebooted the phone 3 times. The program itself is great, but something isn't right about the demo's implementation. I do like the amount of categories and subcategories, along with keeping track of your budget. Certainly Not JunkThey must have fixed the bug Which prevents 200 Items to be entered with the lite version. I played around and entered a full two weeks worth of income and expenses with no problem. Yes, the interface is quite detailed, which may deter some. But you only have to enter or select the fields you want to use for a particular transaction. You can enter nothing but the amount earned or spent, or you can be highly detailed even to the point of including a picture of a receipt or deposit slip. It did crash on me once, as people are saying. But then again, everything is prone to crashing when you are running iOS4 on a 3G iPhone! I would give it five stars if it hadn't crashed. Yes, it is probably because my iPhone is outdated, but expandability is key with any program on any platform. I'll keep playing with the lite version, and if it continues to perform as it already has I will probably buy the full version. Also, I haven't tried syncing it in any way yet. Money ManagerGreat App. one of the best available. The CONS: It does not allow one to edit or delete pre-loaded (default) categories; it does allow to create new ones but that creates clutter if one is not using the default categories. 2) It would be nice to have the option of tracking more than one account. The PROS: the charts, reports, monthly and yearly totals. In its defense, and for those who complain of not being able to input income, get a check register application. As the name of this app. implies, it is an expense tracking application, not an income tracking app. However, I will go for HomeBudget. Account Balance?I found this app to be very effective for those who wish to keep track of their spending. It's basically an organizer that allows you to see where and what you spend your money on. A spending report. HOWEVER, I personally could not find reference online or in previous reviews on how to keep track of all of your money, as a register would. I mean, knowing I spend too much money eating out is nice, but knowing how much I have to spend is better. I had to download the "Balance" app to compensate for what this one lacks. The best app so far, but still lackingUpdated review: Developers: I'm using Family Budget instead of paying $5 for the regular app. This decision is strictly from the seemless ease of syncing. Other than that, you are much closer to what I am looking for. If I didn't have a joint account, I would buy the your upgraded version. Please figure out how to sync!!! This app has almost everything you could want with one major thing missing: the ability to sync with your spouse. The only two apps that have the ability (mybudge & family budget) are difficult to navigate. This app frankly is the FASTEST app in recording expenses. Great free tool!For free and for my limited uses it's exceptionally good. I am very organized and like to be really precise in my record-keeping and this app allows you to do so easily. I thought it a little hard to intuit how to customize categories but once u figure it out (touch the name and slide to right) the options make this very useful. Very handyI need some thing to keep up with how much money I have and what I spend it on. I had a debit check book but I was so confusing with keeping it with you and the adding is perfect. It's a DemoI found this program to be excellent. However, I was disappointed to find out that this is more of a "Demo" version that allows you to add 10 items. This was not expressed before hand here. To make things a bit worse, once you download the full version which sells at a reasonable price of $4.99, there is no way to import the 10 items I entered from the lite version into the full version. So I just wasted close to an hour of my time which I have to redo again. Bad updateI agree, this is a very bad update. It will not allow me to make any deposit entries. I am not sure if it is because of a bum update or the new interface (which I am not loving or I have just not figured it out). The previous version was quick, simple & very easy to figure out and use. Nicest interface, but not fastestNicest interface of all the expense tracking apps, however, the current next highest rated one is a fair amount faster launching, as well as slightly faster at saving new entries (this is on a iPhone 3GS). Aww no deposit button? WRONG idiotsThis is a very handy app, don't listen to these idiots who think you cannot add money to your budget figure. They just aren't creative enough to realize that when you create a new item, the program automatically sets the transaction up to deduct money from your total budget (also known as spending), the inverse of this action only requires that you denote the monetary sum involved in the transaction as a negative! Works great.I have been searching for something like this for a long time. It is free, with the option of an upgrade, it is fast, and it is professional enough that it is fully customizable. Many financial apps only allow you to use their accounts, etc, and tone down the accounting lingo and likewise the actual process of double entry accounting. This doesn't do that. The double entry process is still clear and balances can be checked against each other. Good app but have concerns.I love the app! It's well designed and is great for tracking and managing finances. My concern is that it hasn't been updated in over a year. Just what I need!Ok for me this is a great app. It does everything that it says, there are only a few things I wish it had...and a couple problems that need fixn. Wish List: 1. Multiple Budgets (Detailed and Simple) - This would be good so I can keep my bank and credit budgets separate. 2. You should be able to create custom categories from the Budget section. I Shouldn't have to add a transaction to be able to create categories for them. Problems: 1. The App randomly crashes just like most apps/games out there. The iPhone doesn’t have much memory and we are obviously running out. 2. There is a bug that happens randomly when I click on the budget section. Instead of two tabs that say “Simple” and “Detailed”, there is “Favorites” and “More”. Clicking either of the second pair does nothing and seems to lock up the app. Closing the app and restarting fixes the problem. Wow, good stuffAs a CA I'm always looking for programs that really work for me and my customers when it comes to tracking basic sales and expenses. This one was far the greatest and easiest I've found for free I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the full version for $2.00. Lots of easy customization was able to basically scale it down to a simple accounting chart of accounts with a basic income account and basic expense accounts. Good Luck if You Have Any ProblemsI downloaded this app and paid to upgrade to Pro so I could sync with my husband. Three months in and I can’t get it to sync or send an email for support. Good but needs more.Not a bad little program. Very useful even for being free. I would purchase the full version if it did a few more things. It needs: -on the detailed budget where it shows how much you have left to spend, it would be incredibly helpful if behind each catagory was a faint colored bar that decreased as you spent more money in that catagory. Green full to yellow to red as it depleates. So at a glance you could see how much you have left to spend in each catagory. - a way to add in unexpected income. - if the bar graph could work in reverse as well. I tend to want to see how much I have left more so then how much I've spent. So if it's $500 for personal, the bar is at $500 then counts down(lowers/decreases) throughout the month as you spend. As being a budget program it needs more visuals on how much you have left in certain areas. Maybe pick a top five catagories for a countdown page that shows almost like life bars for each catagory and to the side an overall budget meter. It just seems much more tangable to grasp how much you have left to spend when it's numbers with a visual representation. Overall best budget program out..DrewNexusVersion: 0

Crash Crazy!Wow. I would love to rate this higher because this app is pretty cool. But when it crashes all the time and can't be used because of that, what use is it? This thing crashes non-stop. I guess you get what you pay for. However, in reading the reviews for the $5 "full" version, it seems that it crashes nonstop as well. It's surprising to me that a company would release such a bug-ridden application and charge people for it. Besides the crashing, this application is pretty cool. Crashes constantly. Do NOT PAY for this app!!!!!I've been using this app since 2011 and although tedious to enter every penny, it's a great way to track where your money goes. The paid version is completely customizable. Unfortunately since Sept 2015, it keeps crashing when I'm going from screen to screen within the app. I first contacted the support team in Oct 2015 and they said they're looking into it. Nothing changed so in Dec 2015 I emailed again with the same issue. They said they were aiming for Dec/ early 2016 but it's now July 2016 and nothing has improved. Don't waste your money. Almost PerfectWould be 5 stars if you could roll over unused money in each default budget category into subsequent months. This version still just resets the amounts each month. I want budgets for things like gifts, electronics,etc to accrue over the year. Can't import CSV filesThe address the app gives me to input into my browser doesn't work. Can't connect. And there is no help on the issue. As if its just supposed to work. I'm connected to the same (only) wifi network and I get nothing. Moving to another app..Knurd369Version: 5.0.4
