A good startOverall I like this app and I use it often. It makes it feel manageable to get out of debt completely. One request: show me which payments I’ve already made. I often forget whether or not I marked the “make payment” button for that month. I use it to manage both mine and my husband’s debts, and I don’t have access to his accounts to look up what the current balance is. I do that for my own, although it’s annoying to have to keep logging into the accounts separately to check the balances against what this app says. Not badI was great to use til I went back to see if I paid the bill already for the month. There is no indication or payment date made when you log in you made a payment. Like the app but hate the glitch!The app is a great tool but if you make too many edits it glitches out on the payment plan. Pretty good, Couple of suggestions.This program is what I have been looking for. Does what I have been attempting to do with excel but, much easier. I can see when my CC's and car will be paid off. It is painful to see how much I am paying in interest, but nice to see how much $ in interest I am saving by using this method. Everyone knows that paying more on your credit cards or loans will save them $. It is just more real and easier to stick to the plan when it is spelled out right infront of you. "This is how much you will save by doning this method." Gave 4 stars: would give 5 if two features were included. 1 passcode protection. Very helpful!Does exactly what it should and runs extremely fast. My main recommendation would be iCloud support. I work on the family budget mainly on my iPad but from time to time do so on my iPhone as well. As I make changes to the app on one it would be very helpful to have it applied to the other. Also consider an option to input variable rates such as a 12-month 0% interest on a debt that increases to, say, 14% afterwards. Many people have this type of debt, myself included. EffectiveThis app is super helpful if you don't have the time or the knowledge to budget yourself. Would be better if they would add an extra spot in for bonus and such. Maybe a part of the app could be tailored toward how much you have to put towards payments total and you can enter what the minimum for each debt is so it can figure what cards you should put more towards each month instead. Just what I neededI love debt snowball. It really helps see the big picture so you can stay on track. If I could make some change: Be able to see all of your debt snowball on one page instead of having to scroll through each one... (I realize that using this on your iPhone would make that impossible to see without magnifying the screen but it would be nice to have that option.) Also be able to pay off bills in custom order. Peace of MindMy husband and I both use Debt Snowball. The peace of mind that I got from having a plan set and seeing the "end date goal" is worth every penny. Does everything I wantedIt's not the absolute most intuitive app but what it does for me is everything I wanted it to do, and them some. I really like the custom amortization tables and the fact that it tells me how much interest I save over time. It's very handy and easy to use once you've familiarized yourself with it. Fantastic AppGreat app. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. It gives you a picture of your debt that you can refer to time and again. Not sure why some people bashed the app, it is very easy to use, works very quickly and gives you some mental comfort knowing you have a set plan for paying off your debt. Great app, but needs...This app is great! When I was in college I was one of the fools duped by the credit companies that got a hold of a credit and spent frivolously. I love seeing how far long I am in paying down my loans. This app definitely needs a push notifications reminder of when my next payments are due. It should also implement several ratios like debt to income or how much disposable income you will have after paying towards expenses and savings. Great application!I came across this app last week and it gave me all the motivation I needed to fix my credit. I knew I needed to pay of my debts to get started. Luckily for me, I do not have a mortgage! The app is great for listing and keeping track of what you owe. I have started with the smallest debt and will work my way up to the biggest and last. Almost serves it's purposeI do like this app better than some of the other debt snowball apps simply because of the payment schedule. I like to be able to see where I am at on each payment each month. As well as the approximate remaining balance. I reduce my rating based on the email capabilities. That was the main reason I got this app and the email cuts off after the first debt. I can't see anymore than that. What's the point? Good start, but I make weekly paymentsEdit: Editing this review and dropping a star due to extremely slow response from developer. It took them 10 months to respond to my request!!! Dropping another star because I *still* never received any notification for when payment was due (even though I checked the box on the app). Dropping another star because they don't have a pay weekly option. ******************* So far, the app is decent. I like being able to see payoff dates. But the app seems to be lacking in two distinct ways for my purposes: 1) I checked the "notify me" feature to be notified before a payment is due. I have not received any notifications. 2) A feature that would be very valuable for me (and I'm sure many others) is the option to make multiple payments in a month. I pay weekly to reduce my interest, but can find no way to calculate using that option. Instead, I have to recalculate that every month, which is too time consuming. Hmmm...possibly good appO.k. I've purchased 4 different snowball method debt apps and so far this one and one other are worth my time, although this one still has got a way to go to deserve 5 stars. Although the good news is that it's only been recently released and I am hopeful that future updates will bring some positive changes. I will be happy to update my rating when I see those additions. One of the things I like about this app is the payment schedule view. It's pretty motivating to actually see how being consistent with the payments will actually bring the balance to 0. Things I would like to see in the future updates are: 1.) organize payment view in order of selected snowball method 2.) history of actual payments with payment dates and form of payment 3.) a payment due date added to debt view 4.) alerts for upcoming payments 5.) show percentage of debt paid on debt view window. Could work a lot betterThe application has a very nice interface but could use a little work. The first page, which lets you imput your debts does not have a way to retract the imput screen, so your looking at your list of debts in the lower half of the screen instead of full screen. The last screen (payment schedule) does not tell you which debt to start on first. You can figure it out by attacking the lowest balance or highest interest fist but it would be nice if it put the list in order. So it should show you your inital starting amount plus your min payment to show you the pay off of that card, not your total debt. There is also no way to show which debt is done bieng payed off. You must edit each debt each month with the new balance or delete the debt once it done. Ill be debt free in two years..Mugen80Version: 0

Am I Missing Something?The password protection does not seem to work at all and when you do a "hard" close of the app on the iPhone 4 (i.e., double click from the home screen and shut down the app icon) all the info seems to be lost the next time the app is started. Am I missing something? Because neither the app store page or the developer's website give any insight on how this app is used other than the basics. And I would assume since the latest version (v2.4) was just released two days ago that it was tested to work on iOS4 on all iDevices. I mean, the app performs its main function well, but let's face it- I'd rather not have to re-input all my data every time I start the application.
