Stopped working after iOS 15 updateI have used this app for years as an alarm clock, and I have loved it. A couple of years ago, the app featured an ad (even with paid pro) when you open it that I wasn’t really fond of. it only did it every so often, but you just had to click “no” when you first open it for the day, and it paused it for a while. Recently though after updating to IOS 15 the alarm function didn’t work, and didn’t go off. Thankfully I randomly woke up was was only 30 minutes late to work. I used my other alarm function for a 1st alarm and latest possible alarm the next day to trial and error the app. And again it didn’t go off. Essentially it was useless so I had to delete unfortunately. I have at least 3 stars because I used the app religiously for years as my alarm. ThanksHaven’t used this app in a while but it was the best alarm app I found. Previous review from 1 year ago. Works great on my iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 9 I wake up to a the birds which is one of the built in sounds although you can pick your own music. I set it to fade up 5 minutes so it starts out soft and gradually gets louder. I have used this app for years. I found that I had to buy the HD iPad version of his app for it to work on my iPad. Don't try to use the iPhone version on your iPad. It won't work. It does work great if you get the iPad version. Although I have not been using the iPad one for a while as I don't think they updated it and I haven't tested it. By the way make sure vibrate switch on left side of the iPhone is not turned on as that may prevent the alarm from going off. Also if you want the music to play leave the app open but you can hit the sleep wake button in the phone to turn off the screen so it's black and no light will show. That's what I do. I didn't know they had a shake to snooze. Great feature. I sometimes use this to wake up to birds and a running stream which is a track that I bought an iTunes and it's very relaxing. I like to use the fade-in so it wakes me up gently within five minutes with the advanced settings. Make sure you put it on the charger. Pro is exactly right!I have been using this as my go to alarm clock for well over a year and it never fails me! I have “MS” among a few other not so nice medical problems, so I now take naps as things have been going south for the past year. I take anywhere from 1 to 3 naps a day and get up with my beautiful wife in the morning to see her off to work, so it’s so very nice to be able to set a variety of alarms and switch back and forth without having to reset the times:). And since I’m a heavy sleeper “being on an aircraft carrier for much of my 21 years in service sleeping right under the wires” (Arresting Gear), I learned to sleep through a lot of noise, so I need to set 3-4 alarms for each time I need to wake up. Great alarm, don’t bother paying thoYou can pay to remove ads...or so they claim. When you pay, you still get a flipping annoying popup asking you to do a survey. If you do the survey, it doesn’t go away. It’s annoying as hell and I’m about ready to find another clock app. Aside from that, the clock works great. Almost perfect - Almost!I have used this app for years and have enjoyed all of the features. Now, to the “needs improvement” comment - the need for larger fonts. I was near-sighted all of my life, which let me see the weather and alarm times without my glasses. I have had cataract surgery with lens implants and now require reading glasses to use my iPhone. That’s a bit inconvenient when I roll over to check the time that I set my alarm for, or what the temperature as I am shutting off the alarm. Please don’t change any of the other features! I really appreciate the finger-slide on the screen to adjust the brightness, and the ability to create a “library” of alarm times with customized alert sounds. Still works great after all these years!I needed an alarm clock app that worked without issue and that's exactly what Alarm Clock does! I have found it to be easy to setup, provide pretty useful features (swipe down for dimming being my favorite), and, most importantly, the alarm sounds when I need it to. I'm not sure how much more an alarm clock needs but the simple display, easy to use features, and user-friendly setup make it one of the few apps I always move from phone to phone. Alarmingly good: UpdateDoes as it should and is simple and nice to look at. Wakes me up. Update: After using this for months and maybe it's been over a year or even years now; I'm not sure but I've definitely been using it for a long time. At last....At last, an alarm that not only lets me wake up to music but lets me use a playlist, and plays that playlist in the order I set up. Lots of alarms let you wake up to music but it is just ONE song, and then it repeats. Pandora allows you to wake up to a station of your choice but not the songs of your choice. This one is great. (In the event of failure—which has not happened so far— I keep my native iPhone alarm set to about 15-20 minutes later than the playlist.) Needs an updateI’ve had this app since my first iPhone many years ago. An iPhone 3g. It’s worked great and is by far the longest running app on my phone just given how I depend on it. Used it in 6 countries and god knows how many states. Latest iOS update has broken the app and it no longer remains running in the background when locked. The alarms still work, but only alarm sounds. No music plays which kills me. I’m still giving it 4 stars because of the years of use and how the iOS update isn’t the apps fault. Works greatI can always count on this alarm, no matter what. It has never let me down. Plus I love being able to shuffle my alarm playlist... Easy clean convenientWith this app I can use my phone as my digital see-in-dark clock. No ads no muss no fuss. I was just in the process of buying a separate bedside clock when I thought that for a few bucks my phone plus an app could do that. I specify in the settings to leave the display on while the phone is charging. Having a display let’s me know whether I can go back to sleep or if I should just get up. I rest easier that way. A great, simple app that does what it shouldI have recommended this app to my friends and they all love it. Does exactly what I want it to do. It's cool that you can change the color of the clock. Red light has the least effect on night vision so I usually choose red. I'd like to be able to see battery charge status. One thing missing!This is a nice alarm clock. Reliable and easy to set multiple alarms, name them, and assign them to different days. I recently spent a lot if time in a hotel and I set different times for weekday and weekend mornings. It was so convenient, we all relied on MY alarm. This app is missing the DATE. The weather and colors are nice, but I still have to go to a calendar to verify the date each morning. I suggested it but the developers were not interested. Needs an update!This is my favorite alarm clock, but I used it on my iPad Pro and When I updated my IOS to 15 it started showing up sideways and wouldn’t fix itself based on what way the iPad is turned. I’d like to start using it again, but until they fix that it is worthless to me. I don’t want to turn my iPad into a sideways clock! The right clock faceI can't rate the alarm-I use a different one. But I love the clock face. My favorite combination is red numbers on black, like a first-generation digital clock. The warm light is cozy and doesn't wake you up any further when you check the time in the night. I bought the Red Clock app first, but was amazed that I couldn't get red-on-black in it. Great appI've had this app since 2011 through updates and upgrades, it has always been seamless until now. The latest update that happened over a month ago has a bug that doesn't make the alarm sound. I wrote them with no response and no updates on what I think is a critical issue for an alarm clock. Honest Alarm Clock Pro Review4/5 stars rating. Not a 5/5 because (1) it has to stay open all night to awaken me to my music instead of inane 1970's alarm buzzes, whistles and other obnoxious sounds. And (2) it always defaults to max volume, which is way too loud for the proximity to my ears. Couldn't they let ME set the default volume? And (3) sometimes I get awakened to obnoxious tones, even though I set a musical playlist for the alarm. And (4) sometimes if I walk with the phone in my pocket, the app perceives a "shake" and goes into "snooze" mode, turning off the alarm for 10 minutes. How do I TURN OFF that "snooze" feature?!?!? Great Looking Alarm Clock!I like a lot of the features and the look of it. It has many things that my last alarm clock didn't have. I love that with one click of a check mark you can select a play list to wake up to, rather than clicking a million songs to add to the wake-up list. My go to alarm clock!!Don't know why the others have a problem with this app because it's really an excellent alarm clock that not only lights up a dark room so you can just see enough not to trip on anything, but a really great down to earth working reliable alarm clock!! I always use it while on the road in hotels, friends homes, RVs etc. I like the added weather prompt. And the snooze works well too. It does what it's supposed to do and works all of the time. Great app. Has some glitches.I’ve used this alarm app for years, always worked awesome until I got my new iPhone SE 2nd generation which has iOS 15.02 on it. Make the white bar go away!I would give this app a 5-star rating IF they can make the white bar go away. I use this as a nightstand clock but the white bar that shows you where to swipe away the app is terrible. It’s a bright glowing light at night. This needs to be black so you can’t see it or at the least change colours with whatever colour you set for your alarm clock and be dim-able with the alarm clock. Good alarm but is missing 2 important elements!App icon NEEDS to show current time or next scheduled alarm instead of perpetual 7:30! Apples calendar icon changes to show current date... I like this alarm app. It replaced my bedside clock radio. It has updated many times but this issue has not been addressed. Also as I've mentioned in past reviews this app should include a battery status indicator bar. In alarm clock mode it shows: weather, time, date and when the next alarm is scheduled but no battery life and since this app uses up a lot of battery that would be a good add on. These 2 changes would earn more stars from me! Updated 2017 alarms while in the background have started going off 15 min late- NOT acceptable! Thought i was just not waking up for them but came here to find out several others are having the same issue. Wow what a massive disappointmentI decided to buy the pro version of this because of the features -one being able to have a playlist or song of your choice for the alarm and the ability to use it as a countdown sleep timer where it would ideally gradually fade away. But this is not the case. The sleep timer does not seem to gradually fade to zero but rather fades a little bit and then abruptly cuts off. And that is with it set at at least 10 minutes. But the REAL kicker is it is it a completely UNRELIABLE alarm clock which is the whole point of this app. So far over four days and three different alarms it has only gone off one of those days. Thank God I only paid $.99 for this although it’s not even worth that. Guess i will just have to go back to using the iPhone’s built in alarm clock. Alarm Clock Pro isn’t working correctly anymore!!!I like this app but it will not show weather or city updates anymore and always says that the update has failed. What’s going on with the app now. I have contacted support several times and they still haven’t even given me an answer to what is causing the problem. I never had any issues before until the last update came out. No longer reliableI used this app for many years and was completely happy with its options and reliability. Five stars, at the time. Lately, however, (as in the last six months or so) my feelings towards it have varied from frustration to downright anger. The problems started out with the app switching the song I had chosen to wake up to. There was no rhyme or reason to the switching. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. That came when the app started going silent. No vibrations. No song. No noise. When I did eventually wake up and look at the screen, it appeared like it was going off (had snooze button available along with "turn alarm off" button) but NO sound. No longer worksHad this alarm clock for about 6 years now. It has many customizable features, it's easy to use, and it used to worked flawlessly but it no longer plays music. I believe if your playlist is too long it stops using your playlist and will only vibrate if you have the fade in option enabled. If you don’t have the fade in option enabled then it will play one of the alarm sounds. I remember this app was worth the money I had paid for but it doesn’t look like iHandy supports it any longer. This app will not likely wake you up with the issues it currently has. Completely unreliable right now. Not good anymoreI have used this app for many years and it worked well for a long time but is failing me now. Like others have posted, the alarm sometimes does not sound. That’s a big failure. It also has ads popping up now (but I paid for the version without ads). It keeps prompting me to take a survey which I don’t want to take. NEEDS AN UPDATEThis is my go to alarm pro and while I had the iPhone X the alarm worked perfect! You could lock your phone and when the alarm came on you could shake your phone and that would snooze the alarm. Now I have the iPhone 11Pro Max and the only way the alarm will work with the sound I choose is if I leave my phone unlocked the whole night (and this is not good for the battery). So please do an update so that people that have new iPhones can still use it. I bought the pro version of this app because I wanted to use everything including changing the colors for the alarm. Only works 60% of the timeUpdate: this app will fail at least 60% of the time. No sound when the alarm goes off, means you won't wake up. Used it for over 1 year with no issues. In the last 2 months it no longer can be trusted as an alarm :-( My past review: This would be a 5 star app if you could just have the ability to rearrange the music you selected for the alarm. Poor User ExperienceI have used this alarm 4 nights in a row and it didn't work the first two nights. Probably user error. It's not a terrible app, but it isn't for new If you set the alarm and then leave the app, you have to login to your phone to do snooze or turn off the alarm, which stinks when you're trying to snooze. Suddenly UnreliableI've used this app for many years and loved it. In the last few months it has consistently disappointed me. Suddenly the alarm stopped working causing me to be late for several events. The clock will display that the alarm is triggered, but no sound is being played. An alarm clock is supposed to do one thing, sound an alarm to wake you up, and this app simply does not do that. Used to be great now not so muchWow where to begin, well I purchased this app years ago and it used to have everything I wanted. The weather feature, the alarms, the dimming ability and multiple colors were great. However a major annoyance is that everyday I use it I am asked to do a survey for survey monkey. Randomly won’t play sleep musicI’ve complained about this problem so many times, but nothing has been done. I’ve had this app for years, but in the past 6 months it randomly says my music isn’t found, yet the night before it played, and then the next day it doesn’t, but two days later it’s back. No Longer ReliableI have the paid version and been using it for years with no problems. I connect the charger and prop it up on my night stand to use as a regular alarm clock . Some time ago the screen started going white when it lays flat ( which happens often when I try to adjust it) and I have to restart it to get the display to come back on. Regularly FailsBe careful and always have a backup alarm in another app because this alarm will decide to activate without playing any sounds at all. Very disappointed since the updateI lived by this APP for years but since update crashes as soon as you try and open it on iPod touch 2 iOS 5.1.1. Can't even roll back to previous ver. Alarm Clock ProTried a 'free' version and liked it so much that I bought the app. Great features and love to be able to wake up to "my" music. Worked fine until the latest update. Love the app but ...Update. The app now has pop up ads in the night that I have to clear in the morning to turn off the alarm! Since I'm half-asleep, I often end up clicking on the pop up instead of closing it. It's just trying to force traffic to its related apps.
