Quality app with some improvementsReally enjoy this app and having my marvel comic collection digitally enables me to read just about anywhere. The app has lots of nice options for viewing the comics. I really like how it can zoom into the section of the page to enable easy reading. Having the digital store also allows me to read some past/present comics I would not normally buy in a paper copy. I also find it useful for tracking what I have or have not read. It is also great for jumping to another issue to get a quick refresher on a back story. My collection is easily approaching 500 comics digitally and I am noticing greater lag time to view your collection. Also, there is no redeem feature built into the app for redeeming your digital copy of your physical comic. Lastly, a few of the older comics are not as crisp or clean digital transfers with some art and text a little fuzzy or difficult to read. Counterintuitive, but works decentlySo I bought 3 new releases on here and noticed I was having the same issue as a lot of other people on here in that I couldn’t read or download my comics. I thought I was completely screwed out of the whole reason I got the app in the first place. Luckily I happened to find a suggestion on Google from someone else that suggested signing out of your Marvel account and hitting the “Restore Purchases” button in the settings for the app. Lo and behold, I could read and download the comics I had bought to my desire 🥳 I wasn’t able to find out how to access the digital copies of physical comics that I had entered the codes for on the app, but hopefully they will fix this issue in the future. Hopefully this technique will work for anyone else who is having issues with accessing comics they bought through this app. Definitely counterintuitive as heck. Doesn’t download comics half the timeI’m reading on an iPad with plenty of spare storage space and I’ve set the app to use as much storage as it needs but for half of the comics I buy it will not let me download them or let me read them at all. I’ve tried closing out of the app and even waiting a couple days but that didn’t accomplish anything. One time deleting and reinstalling the app worked for me but even that doesn’t always work. It’s alright other than that but this is a significant problem for me. Edit: The problem might come from signing into my Marvel account. No communication between the two primary Marvel apps.All of your purchased and redeemed comics you have stored in the Marvel app don’t sync with the Marvel unlimited application. Your account does work on both, but for some reason the app does not recognize any comics that are currently in your library. This would all be resolved if Marvel provided a standard file that could be downloaded to your device once it is redeemed or purchased. That way digital comics are actually owned instead of just borrowed when and only when you have access to the internet. Accessing comics in the application offline is not convenient. Once, awesome, but now, ehI used to have this app. The comics I Reese were awesome. Later on I needed some space in my storage for other apps, so I deleted it. A year or two later I reinstalled it. That was when the trouble started. I was looking for some comics to download when I saw the fbcd avengers #1. I clicked purchase and a few minutes later, it shows in my books section with a pause symbol on it. I clicked it and two symbols came. The download symbol and the delete symbol. I clicked the download symbol and the pause symbol appeared again. I did then deleted the comic and downloaded it again, but it would still be the same. Still needs some work but not bad.I have had this app for a while, maybe for about a few years, and there is still always something wrong with the app. It’s nothing major, just little occurrences that are really annoying. For example, each time I click “see all” for the new comics on sale for the week, the app always crashes. The app has crashed a few times just trying to sign into my account. Comic Book PlaylistLoving the app! The only suggestion I’d have is creating a comic book playlist. What I envision is a stream of books you create the order for. Especially if people purchased single issues of comics events and want to sequentially read tie-ins and main stories, or if you want read other comics that are help you understand a current comic and you create a playlist for that so it enhances the reader experience by allowing people to readily and rapidly read stories as intended or with enough background information..T4zerVersion: 3.11.8

So closeWhen the app is working it is great. The organization is nice and has helped me keep track of my comics very well. The two main issues I have is there is no way to redeem digital codes through the app so you have to constantly go back and forth to the website and also that it constantly logs you out. This wouldn’t be a very big problem if it weren’t for the fact that you have to jump through a ton of hoops to get logged back in. Custom Playlists / Reading order?Love the app and the digital equivalents of my phone physical comics. Two features would make it amazing though. 1) custom lists for reading order. Marvel is the bestMarvel is by far my favorite comic book company but I cant figure out how to get out of a comic book while I'm in the middle of reading it. If I want to check something else around the site it forces me to finish the comic book first. A few changes neededI wish comics you could just read comics you brought instead of having to download the entire comic arch. Problem with wishlistThis app has a recent issue, it doesn’t allow you to make changes to your wishlist. You cant really remove comics from it. It continues to show the comics you removed. Great appI hope no problems using this app . My only criticism would be that comics are too expensive on them . Great customer supportThis app is great, and the customer support is even better. Like everyone else, I was getting a lot of crashes. But at 1.99 for a graphic novel, I wasn't going to get nasty. So I submitted some feedback explaining it kept crashing, and whoever sent me an email back was great to me! They explained I had to reinstall the app entirely. Although it seemed bad, it wasn't that bad, and I can now read comics. When you reinstall, allow it to download all data in the store before signing in, or you will get crashes again. After that's done, sign in and pick what comics you want to re-download. Again, wait until this is done, and then enjoy! PSA - STICK WITH PAPER COMICS!!!I’ve had this app for years. My paper collection was building and taking up a lot of space so I thought it would be a good idea to go digital. BAD IDEA! Regrettably, I have well over 800 comics on this app. The app crashes and I’ve repeatedly lost access to my library. On multiple occasions my library size has suddenly shrunk to a fraction of what what it truly is which leaves me to jump through a series of hoops to regain access. The new update has you going through a series of interactive security checks to ensure that you aren’t a “robot.” This is ridiculous to have to go through for a member. This isn’t Fort Knox! Won’t load or download books I’ve boughtI’ve bought 3 books and have had an extremely hard time getting this garbage app to load or download them. I’ve reinstalled/restarted the app, restarted my phone, did all sorts of network troubleshooting and nothing worked. I just recently purchased some physical copies of the new Predator series and discovered they contain digital copies. I went online and redeemed my digitals thinking that was the end. No excuse for such a poor app in 2019This is not a review of Marvel in any way. I love Marvel and always have. This app, however, is hot garbage. Can't get free comics from codesI was trying to redeem comics from the code I got in an issue of Star Wars: Cassian and K-2so on marvel's website. It was a code for the digital version of the book and a free issue of Rocket Raccoon: grounded. The code got redeemed but the comics never went to the comics tab section in my app. Complete waste of time..A fan of vineVersion: 3.10.5

Doesn't workI think I would love this app but it won't let me sign in with my Marvel account even though it works on their website, and I can't set up a new account because my email address is already registered to my current account. Why no non-wifi access?!?I love that I can download copies of comics that I have bought, because I spend a lot of time on the road...but, why can I not access my already downloaded books when there is no wifi??
