A simple, no-frills bible concordance - easy to use, fast and no wireless connection needed! Designed to be quick and easy to use without all the complexity of more feature rich offerings. Easily jump to any verse in the bible and search for any combination of words. Cross-references to related verses are easy to find, just touch the verses with an asterisk (*).
Includes the Matthew Henry Concise Commentary - gain valuable insight and a concise overview of each chapter of the bible with just a simple touch.
Also includes Gospel Harmony - a handy index to 185 events, teachings, miracles and parables found in the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The events are organized in sequential order and you can easily search for any term in the list. The list shows you the event description, category (miracle, parable, etc.) and the bible references for that event which you can quickly jump to simply by touching the bible reference.
Supports Dark Mode as well as Dynamic Type so the font size changes to match the Dynamic Type settings on your device.
The bible texts are stored on your device, no need for a wireless connection.
Contains two versions of text, the King James Version (KJV) and the World English Bible (WEB). The World English Bible is a public domain Modern English update of the American Standard Version of 1901 and can be found at http://ebible.org/web/

Fast......easy to useI do real time live interpretation of sermons from Spanish to English and this app is my constant trusty companion. If I do not find the bible text that the pastor is quoting in his sermon quickly, I fall behind and my listeners miss content of the sermon. This app helps me keep pace and deliver the full content to my listeners. I love the history feature that lets me quickly jump back to a previously viewed text. The concordance is very useful for my personal bible study also. The feature that shows all the verses associated with a particular event all together is also great. The only thing that it is missing for me is that it does not offer New King James Version of the Bible ( my favorite). Only the King James Version is available. But overall an excellent app..Version: 13.1
Lives up to its name- update 7/17 fixes all!!!Perfect for finding a quick verse to share. Sometimes the copy function doesn't appear until the second try of highlighting a verse. Maybe an iOS bug, or is it this app? Otherwise, it's perfect for finding verses quickly and not getting bogged down while opening like some of the more weighed-down Bible apps. 👍👍 4 stars because of the copying problem, but again...perhaps that's not just in this app??? I'm updating my review based on the most recent update and upping to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! It turns out the copying bug WAS the fault of iOS not this app. So that's fixed! BUT....the best fix (7/17) is that now only the side arrows at the bottom scroll to the adjacent chapters! It used to be that you couldn't even touch the screen on the sides, or you'd accidentally switch chapters. THANK YOU FOR FIXING THIS!!!!! I hope they keep updating this app and keeping it simple. If it becomes filled with options and extras, it won't live up to its name. This is the app I use most when I need to find a verse, copy and paste a verse to someone, and now read!! (I used to not read from it too much because of the accidental scrolling but now that's fixed!)..Version: 10.0
Excellent app. King James only, though.I have used this app for years. I am a missionary and often need to come up with a message quickly. This app is offline, so I don’t need internet. I also works fast, which is important. They have kept it simple so it is fast and clean. You can also copy and paste from it, which some don’t allow or you have to go through steps to do it. King James only, which is fine with me. I grew up on King James, but if you didn’t it may present a challenge in finding the verse you want. Overall, great app!.Version: 13.2
Pocket Church BibleI’m pretty much a simpleton user. This is my church Bible, loaded on my iPhone. I use it because of its quick access to verses during a sermon or in home study. There are features I just don’t use and probably don’t even know they are there. This is an easy app to use, and I like the KJV. I love this app..Version: 11.3
Good Buy, Ease of UseThis is my go to for devotions. Easy to use menu, and the specific verse is highlighted along with the remaining verses in the chapter. You can copy and paste the verse into your research work, as opposed to the internet sites where a copy/paste provides you the url address. Would be willing to pay for other versions (NIV), to stay on this platform..Version: 11.3
A great way to find any verse fastUse it all the time when I am trying to remember a verse. Just need to know a word from the verse and all the results pop it immediately. Awesome search engine indeed!.Version: 11.3
App has changed...I have loved this app for many years but am highly disappointed because somehow it doesn't let me copy individual verses so I can paste them into a text message. I have even deleted it and re-subscribed to see if I can do that. But no...still can't select and copy simple verses. Sad.Version: 15.0

Excellent appIt lives up to the first line in the description-no frills, easy to use, fast and offline. I've had this app for a couple of years, and I teach the bible. I go to places which have no internet or phone service. I need offline. For most things, I prefer simplicity over complexity. I had one bible app that was great. It opened quickly and didn't have too many functions, but the ones it had worked well. Then they upgraded it and now is slow and clumsy. and requires internet for many of the functions. Well, Fast bible app is still simple and fast, which is what I need most of the time..Version: 8.0
GratefulThis is the most helpful and the most used app on my iPad . I use it daily and often several times during the day. It is the most important app of my morning devotion. Lightning Fast!I needed a bible that didn't take me to a home screen and made me wait while loading. This bible opens immediately to where you left off and the search is insanely fast! Example: I typed in "hell" and as soon as I hit enter, 54 verses with the word "hell" are right there at my fingertips! Worth all 99 pennies :-).Version: 1.4
Good toolI installed this app because it works off line. I am very pleased with it. The preacher was very blessed to be able to borrow it. He was away from home, and didn't have a concordance with him. So he used this on Saturday night and said that ti was a life saver..Version: 2.0
