Love hate relationship here!!! The game people need to make some changes!!!So I would give this a full 5 stars if it weren’t for them making it so freaking difficult to get bonus dice so you can actually play the tournaments consistently. I literally just went through about 60 scratchers or so and only received a WHOPPING 7 Dice!!!!! What a rip off. I was doing good for a little bit, but my opinion is pretty on point. They reel you in, get you addicted give you a bunch of dice and then bam you don’t get any, so then your left with having to use your money to buy more. (Well only 7 out of 60 scratchers.) I swear this world is nothing but GREED!!! Can’t even play a freaking game without needing to spend money. I’m close to being done with this game. Love the game, I’ve made several reviews on this game in regards to the dice and I thought it worked but I’m guessing it didn’t. Ohhh and I played a tournament only came in 10th place which would have been 12 dice I went to go claim those dice but never received them. Best multiplayer strategy game ever.I love this game because there are tournaments. I love how you can choose your dice. The thing I like the most is that you can have more than one game without doing one at a time like the board game Yahtzee. Amazing graphics. I really like how you can choose a frame around your picture. My favorite tournament is Wackee Dice. What I love about Wackee Dice is there can be more than 1 of the same thing, there are evens and odds. Also, I really like Multiplier Match. I really like Multiplier Match because there are multipliers that really help you. Once, I got on first try more than 40 on a 3 or 4 of a kind. What I love that helps you a ton is there are bonus rolls. I like how there is Dice Bingo. Dice Bingo is cool because it is Bingo! But with dice. One thing I want you to improve is the dice you can buy. What I want you to fix on it is to make it at least 30¢ cheaper. Also, Dice World is really fun. I think it is really fun because you named the Dice World players really good names. I like how you added a fun arcade game, the Gift Claw. I like it because you can earn bonus rolls or different dice. This is the best multiplayer strategy game ever. Good job Scopely. Also, ads are really rare. Still fun to play, but...The game is still fun, but I miss when you could pick the dice you wanted to buy, rather than being forced to receive random dice you don’t want. When you manage to get lucky enough to receive 2 sets of the same kind of certain dice, effects are added to make them ‘Super Dice,’ which is more distracting than interesting, so I find it better to turn off Super Dice in the settings. The old dice had really cool effects too... they would highlight in unique ways as you selected the ones you were holding before rolling again. Now they just lamely outline in green or something. The scratchers are still fun and I like the tournaments, leagues and Gift Grab activities, and really enjoy the High-Rollers challenges. Dicemasters are ok, but I could do without them. It was more fun when you could work your way up a Dicemaster ladder to win some cool dice rather than the coins or tokens you get now. The game also glitches every few days when trying to watch the ads for free rolls and scratchers. The only way I have found to fix it is to reinstall the app. This wouldn’t be a big deal, except the game forces you to rewatch all the welcome tutorials for different activities, even after it recognizes that you have played before. Overall, the game is very functional if you like to play Yahtzee!, and it’s fun to chat now and then with your opponents..SchilrjVersion: 6.0.1

Crashes constantlyUpdated review (9/19): Updating the one-star review I previously left. Upgrading one star because they seem to have fixed the bugs and the app no longer crashes. Upgrading another star because the graphics are decent and it’s obvious they put a lot of creativity into this game. Still, fails in several categories. It’s still impossible to “win big” from a scratch off. Scratch offs for extra rolls are a joke; cards may show 50, 100, even 200 free rolls to win, but after years of playing this game I’ve determined that those are a joke. The dice and board choices are also a joke (i.e. they are ugly). I have little desire to keep playing in order to win ugly dice. There also seems to be no rhyme or reason for when or how often new games pop up, like “Survivor” (better have plenty of extra dice rolls for that one, kids, because your chances of making it through more than five rounds is almost zilch). This game feels like they have ten year olds coding and they’re marketing to ten year olds. It would be nice if they added some grown up touches Starting with beautiful dice and cartoon opponents that don’t look like mutilated cartoon characters. CheatedThe game itself is a great way to gain new friends in the gaming world. The game gives you a scratch card which they call scratchers after the completion of a game. They have a various amounts that can be won, 1,2,3,10,25,etc. up to 200 bonus rolls. I have been playing for almost a year now and the largest amount I have won is 3 bonus rolls. Here is the kicker!!! I once had a scratcher that I had removed enough of the overlay to reveal 3 200's however before I was finished removing the overlay to completely reveal the 3rd 200, the game stopped me from scratching the rest of the ticket and popped up the message that I hadn't won. Fortunately I took a screen shot of the scratch ticket which there is no question as to what the number is below the overlay. I need to figure out how to send a copy of it to the company and call them on it!! Cheated out of 200 bonus rolls! They purposely give you close to nothing so they can sell you bonus rolls at an exorbitant price. Bottom line, they advertise you can win up to 200 bonus rolls but you will never win them. Even when you reveal 3 200's which is needed to win the 200 bonus rolls they will cheat you out of them. Since I refuse to pay the big bucks they ask for the bonus rolls I have little chance of winning any of the tournaments they hold. Dice with buddiesThe game has changed since I first started playing I used to get a lot of joy playing the game now because of all the changes I find playing with the buddies more enjoyable chatting with people all over the world. The game used to have fun games and tournaments to play to win really cool dice not anymore the game plays with really cool dice but they don’t offer them to the players they offer ugly dice to the players to win. Their support system has only standard answers from a sheet of paper and they usually don’t answer with the right answer because they didn’t read all of the complaint . The team makes a lot of changes to the game by putting in dice claws to get new dice to play with which you get the same dice you already have more often than not so the answer to why this happens so often is luck of the draw or because we have super dice now please I’d rather pick my dice from the claw than get a hamburger dice or hot dog which I’ll never play with.Kpal48Version: 8.24.2

My reviewWhile I love Dice with Buddies there are some things that need to change or do away with. The Price Climb and the Adventure to earn coins to get those squares serves absolutely no purpose and needs to go. While every once in awhile you get a prize when buying one of those 6 sided marks there is absolutely no other benefit to them. If you are able to get all marks for a character, there is no reward or benefit so why even collect them at all. It's just another way to burn more bonus rolls and make the app richer. On the Family Feast, it is just absurd to wait 12 hours for next free play when no other game requires more than 3. Again just another way to blow through more bonus rolls so a person has to buy more and make the app creator more money. The last thing is the Harvest Game. Either make the bonus price 1 extra roll or just do away with the game completely. To put the price at 2 or 3 is nothing but greedy on your part. It costs a person 10+ bonus rolls just to play the bonus on each turn. You want to make this app and game better than start listening to the players..BabysnatcherOkieStyleVersion: 6.11.1

Dice with friendsLove love this game. I had 5 stars but changed it to 3 because I use to get 12 each of scratchers & dice from watching videos everyday. Not sure what happened but now I only get 4 each which is ridiculous on how much I play the tournaments, games, gift grab. I have complained about this hoping it would change but nothing has. Please give me my 12 each and I will change it back to 5. Can’t play Family Feast productively with only 4 dice. Come on now.... UPDATE: Someone did get back to me in about 48 hours and explained to me the reason, which I was very happy about. At least in this game they seem to make an effort to respond to a complaint. Not the same game anymore!Used to like this game a lot. Your tournaments are a lot of fun but if your not wasting a lot of bonus rolls you get no where. You should have a limit on how many times you can play. Then it might be judged on the best score rather than how much money you spend to enter. It takes a lot of bonus rolls most of the time to get a good score and this game is very stingy giving them out but takes a way a lot! You have to get say 30,000 XP’s to move up a level and you give a measly 4 bonus rolls but it take 2 every time you enter a tournament. You need to give out more bonus roll to keep it fun or require less to play. I believe most of the big winner have to be paying a lot of money to do that, I feel sorry for them, I hope they can afford it. It’s not worth it to me. It’s suppose to be fun. Changes for the betterI’ve been playing this game for ages. It’s been one of those that I go through phases with; I’ll enjoy it for a bit and then taper off for a while and pick it back up again, and so on. Lately though, with many of the new changes, I find myself playing daily and sometimes obsessively! I feel as though there are more opportunities now to pick and choose events that I want to participate in. I know it seems like a lot to some players, but I used to have a mentality of ‘gotta play ‘em all’. Now, I skip things like Kingdom, or Survivor if I’m not feeling like doing those, and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on the opportunity for prizes. Sure, there are a couple of things I’d improve (some kind of weighted rewards system in Treasure Hunt that requires participation of both players, for one!!) but overall I’m really enjoying the game and am playing daily..TouchofstrangeVersion: 8.15.0

Addictive and expensiveThis is the third time I’ve been asked to review this app and every time the same review I submitted before is still here. Maybe they only accept positive reviews??? This info is still the same but I counted 58 dice that I didn’t have available in the dice claw so can’t understand why I keep getting duplicates. This game is lots of fun and there are activities that will interest everyone...however...to get scores good enough to win tournaments, you need to have bonus rolls, which cost money. This game is very creative at finding ways to ensure you use your bonus rolls so that you purchase more. The game has good graphics but also runs your phone battery down quickly. It is easy to spend $20 on bonus rolls that don’t last the day. You also enter events where the reward you earn is dice that they choose. So money is spent to play an event where the reward is not tangible and isn’t even something you want. Not thrilled with dice changesI used to love this game and I played it a lot! Stopped for quite some time and I recently got back into it only to find out some of the changes really stink IMO. I hate how you work so hard to get dice and then you can end up getting dice you already have. I liked when you could choose the dice you get. I also don’t like how there are so many dice that have numbers instead of the traditional dot patterns, and of course almost all the dice I “win” are numbers. It’s harder to comprehend the numbers for me; maybe because I was a kindergarten teacher for so long I got used to the patterns. I do like that some tournaments are winnable now. Some of the dice people tournaments are a little ridiculous; too much going on sometimes. Coming back after a few weeks of playing... I HATE THE WAY YOU GET NEW DICE!!! Totally not fair that you can “win” the same dice more than once. Too cluttered, too many extra stepsFirst off the app is a massive battery drain, I can go from 100% to 30% if I play for 30 minutes. The layout of the game makes things hard to figure out. It’s hard to tell apart the games that people have taken their turns on and are waiting for yours. Also, when you get a reward you shouldn’t have to tap the screen a second time to receive it. Just let it pop up and add the reward to your account. The dice claw is a ripoff. If you already have the set of dice you win you don’t get a chance to try again or an automatic substitute, the set is just marked as being “new” in your collection even if it’s a set you’ve had for years. It’s hard enough to win tokens for the prize claw without them being wasted. And I’ve stopped playing the weekly challenge because the amount of points it takes to win is ridiculous and pretty much requires you to constantly play. I want to pick my dice!Lots of changes and flash. I hate that I get random dice and I can’t pick. I work hard to get tokens and then get the same dice I already have or ones I will never use. Why can’t we pick? We used to earn diamonds then we could choose our dice from a list. The last update changed the scratcher for the Dice Master. You actually used to get Dice Masters and I haven’t got even one now, I get dice or entry tickets only. What’s up with all the extra points on the scratchers? I wish we would get more dice on scratchers, especially the bigger ones. It’s a fun game, some of the updates are good (different games on tournaments and challenges). I really do want the option of picking my dice! I wish I could organize my dice too and group seasons together like I can do with apps on my phone. I’d also like to switch ones out for ones I like. Bonus rollsI’ve been playing this game—a lot—for SIX YEARS. It appears that beginning early this month (Feb 2020) there are no longer any non-paid or otherwise time consuming and useless) means to earn extra rolls. These are no longer available, apparently as prizes/ rewards within the games. Unfortunately, I live on a fixed income, and I cannot afford to purchase the extra rolls and I have have severely restricted internet access. Furthermore, it is aggravating that any options for free bonus rolls are eliminated/turned off during peak play times, forcing one to stop playing or pay up. SO WRONG! Even if one player cannot afford to purchase bonus rolls, he/she is playing with others who DO purchase. THUS, as much as I enjoy the game and the long term player friends I have made, I will NO LONGER be playing. I’m sure you have plenty of people willing to waste both their time and their money on your greed..KYDGVersion: 6.13.2

Not a fan of the latest update3-stars, but only because I enjoy the concept of the game. Dice with Buddies recently updated its app and I am extremely disappointed with the result. This update has created too much clutter. I have paid for a gaming experience without ads, but Dice With Buddies has decided to replace those ads with internal ones: “Dice Showdown” or “Buy Scratchers.” Additionally, there are too many suggestions for starting new games and tournaments. I have to scroll past a minimum of three “suggested matches” to get to the actual matches I want to play. There is no way to turn off the suggested matches and it’s annoying. Also, the “rewards” have gotten out of hand. Multiple scratchers, prize claws, pets, coins, gift grabs, tournaments and more. It’s way too much and creates a much less pleasurable and much more aggravating gaming experience. The events and news features have also gotten out of hand, but they’re not as bad as the rewards. One additional issue I have had is with notifications. Even before the update, I was not receiving game updates or badges. Yes, my iPhone settings have been set up with notifications and badges on. I contacted the DWB support team and they say it’s a common issue, but they have not resolved the issue or helped me much. I would suggest fixing the notification issue and tailoring back some of these ridiculous updates or at least creating an option to turn some of these unnecessary nuisances off..Ccanes92Version: 5.5.7

Dice with BuddiesI’ve been playing Dice for about 6yrs now. The last 5 years I’ve been going through cancer treatment. Pancreatic cancer to be exact , so I’m up all kinds of hrs day and night. So your game has helped keep me mentally active. On the downside folks that forfeit games. I relize people get busy forget games etc. The problem I have is not getting credit for said wins by forfeit experience points is all we get. I”d like to see us receive scratches etc. I spend a lot of time on dice with buddies as well as buying dice. Sincerely long time dice participant. Fix the Still playing. Very tight with rewardsFor the most part this is a fun game. You can play against friends of yours or random players. Their rewards for playing games are simplistic and lean toward enticing you to play more. The most needed reward is extra dice. These are used to get extra rolls per turn. Of course they sold like you to purchase these. Or you can obtain them by watching videos and spinning a reward wheel. This wheel will stop just before the grand reward of extra dice and roll back to an un needed reward. Or it will continue past the dice reward and also give you an unneeded reward. It seems they are very limited on the spinning wheel reward of dice, (preprogrammed to not give out). I personally have only won 50 dice one time on the wheel. Annoying adsI have been using DWB for several years and it's really fun. However, recently ads (which I get are necessary) have gotten "stuck" and I have to close out the app completely. Ads also now have several pages you have to get through, and the "x" to close Is often so small that it takes several tries to get out of them. If anyone thinks this is going to make me purchase their app they're mistaken- I would literally NEVER buy something with such annoying and ridiculous tactics. Stickers are also incredibly annoying in that whenever you "win" a pack (and who cares, really), you have to wait while it automatically opens, THEN click buttons twice to get out of something that's pretty dumb and useless anyway. Great GameI have been playing this game for quite a few months now and I must say that it really is a great time waster. It’s fun and when you hit 5 of a kind it really gets ya excited. My 8 year old and I love the side games like Dice Derby. We always try to get enough points to buy new horses for the races. The only problem I have with that particular little side game is if when the horses cross the finish line and it says that you are the first place winner, when the prizes are awarded at the podium, it says you won 2nd place. I don’t really think that’s right and it should be fixed. I even took a screenshot of my crossing the finish line first but yet it seemed I got robbed when the prizes were presented. Major flawI recently made the decision to tell my family I am no longer going to play Treasure Hunt. Other than receiving a wheel and ticket to keep playing once you achieve a level that is all you really receive. And just as I was going to quit you changed the game so I decided to give it one more chance. As I like that they extended it to 12 days instead of 6 and you can have more than 5 coupons BUT they raised the limits back up that you have to meet to make it to the next level and you still have to wait 6 hours in between games. I have never won any of the prizes in this game. I would rather spend my time and bonus rolls on family games where the family actually wins items from playing well together. Horrible changesI would think twice about downloading this game. I no longer invite friends to play. The changes that have recently been implemented create much unwanted stress and disappointment. You are made to play a STUPID sticker game that you CANNOT win unless you spend money. Being forced to constantly open sticker packs with no new ones lasts literally for WEEKS and is a complete and total waste of time. Tournament games have become virtually unwinnable. I just spent numerous bonus rolls and after playing 8 games, I did not win a single one. It’s almost as if Scopely is trying to discourage me from playing. Has Improved Over the Years.Positives: Colorful, many chances to accumulate dice. Like the Family portion. Like the Prize. Lim Negatives: Adventure is no fun at all. Playing an opponent in the tournaments and then trying to find where they place is NEVER on the board. IF they win, why can’t I find where they place? Fun, addicting!I love this game! Especially when there are a lot of events going on simultaneously. I do have a small complaint - a glitch occurred while I was playing survivor today. I scored the required 50 on round 6 but it still asked if I wanted to pay 12 bonus rolls to continue. It acted strangely. Since I thought it was a mistake I chose to use the 12 bonus rolls to keep playing, thinking it wouldn’t actually subtract them since I had scored enough points to advance, but it subtracted them anyway! Wish you would credit them back! Otherwise wonderful app! Love it!! Handipam saysThis isn’t the he only game I wanna lay on my phone, but it’s in my top two! This game is so much fun and it’s addictive! No matter what I can fill in the waiting time at a railroad crossing, a checkout line or just enjoy s break from the day to day routine, doesn’t matter what f I only have 2 minutes or am sitting at lunch for 29 minutes - I can always squeeze in 3 rolls, more or less, and you can play all your friends at the same time. Fun but many annoyancesI like the recent updates (2019) which introduced me to more games and more options but I have run into several issues that are annoying: 1. After I play, it immediately grays out the screen so I can’t see what else needs to be done for me or my opponent - it forces me to study my opponent prior to a roll; which I rarely do. 2. If my opponent is the last roll for a game, I have no idea which game ended because there is no way to see what they rolled and why I won or lost. 3. I play on a phone so frequently I can’t see my 6’s because the large “35” is covering it up. Why would they need to show the +35 twice - show it only once and it won’t cover my 6’s. I hate having to guess whether I’ve played on my 6’s yet. 4. Animation - it’s great to celebrate but I play with a lot of buddies and the time it takes between rolls and games is awful because it animates, moves to another screen to duplicate the animation and many times to 2-3 more screens with more animation. It’s a total waste of time. Celebrate once while showing my rewards then move on. There are other annoyances but those are the biggest hinderances to the game. If I can just play the game (without these annoyances) then it’s fun, but I’m on the fence on how much longer I’ll play with the current issues..G593Version: 6.7.2

SurveyI enjoy the game but the freezing and having to log out and back in again becomes frustrating. Going into family games and it appears no one has played yet, however exit and try again and your family has already begun playing. Receiving prizes from prize pass is also annoying, you have to hit the claim square so many times. Just make it less sensitive to find the sweet spot. Game is riggedI now fully believe this game is rigged. It started out being very fun but now I think it’s just a money pit. Your chance to win more than 1 die on a scratcher is slim to none and it’s the same for the money wheels and winning the jackpot…even if you buy extra spins at the end of one to increase your chances, you still don’t win the jackpot. Too many feature issuesI just received an update that they hope to fix this issue with the next update and all the can offer is one free tournament entry. This is such horrible customer service, as I’ve lost over 100 free rolls. I would rate this a 0 if it were an option. Too many bugsThe game is good, but Scopely has put so many games into dice with buddies that they can’t keep up with software bugs, which are almost constant. The customer support is extremely slow, often unhelpful bots that don’t understand the issue and they don’t compensate you properly most of the time. If it weren’t for one or two games and the family mode they would lose many customers. I’ve had a bug for over 6 months that goes away, then they put a new version out and it reappears. This bug costs me time and money because I’m a subscriber and I purchase dice. They act as if the game is free and not having access doesn’t cost anything, but that is absolutely wrong. GlitchI love this game, it’s my absolute favorite. But I have to give it 4 stars right now because there’s some kind of glitch that makes it flash off every 2-3 minutes and there’s waaay too many advertisements. RipoffI have been playing this app now for over 4 years and at first I loved it but recently they upgraded this and it’s terrible. The tournaments are a ripoff. You finish that and another pop up interrupts for something else you just read. Getting very irritatedI have played this game for several years. I am almost to the point of quitting. I just scratched over 70 scratchers and received six bonus rolls. In all my years of playing 97% of the “winners “were for one bonus role, 2.99% were for two or three bonus rolls. .1% I received a whopping 10 bonus rolls. I have never seen 20, 50, 100, 200. If you’re not going to award those amounts you need to take them off the scratchers. Not random…If you believe that the dice rolls are random then I have some Arizona oceanfront property to sell you. It doesn’t take long playing this game for the first time to realize that something is not right, that the dice rolls do not seem natural. Most obvious and flagrant is on the third and final dice roll, when you are going for a small straight, that nine times out of ten it will not give you the small straight, and you wind up getting a cr@p roll. Mind you, on an open-ended roll for a small straight the odds are good that you will roll either the low die or high die, but in this game it is programmed to get neither, and it is not a natural occurrence of rolls. This is ridiculous, as it defies the laws of nature, that the algorithms are coded to deny you the small straight. Another obvious scam is also when you need just one certain die and after three rolls you do not get just the ONE die, again, defying the laws of nature. DO NOT BOTHER PLAYING.This game is not free. Recently, scopely has been randomly banning players under the guise of cheating. When a player questions the ban, they get a generic response that “…there were irregularities in their account” yet scopely refuses to explain what irregularities have been detected. Unstable game platform within the gameRepeated and ongoing issues with the Survivor game within this game. For months now this game has been unstable at best with connectivity issues,freezing,complete booting out, game starting without letting you play, timer running out on your turn without letting you play and so so many more issues.
