Awesome drum app!!!Someone in a group said they didn't like this app, but it is awesome and is now FREE! Here"s what I wrote about it: "I kind of like the app. I just got done messing around with it and it has some cool features and solid sounds. It has Audiobus and interapp audio...exports to Audioshare and AudioCopy. Has a very easy to use interface...the step sequencer is good...I think it has a lot to offer....and if a sound is out of pitch you can edit it within the app and also change the pitch. You can even import your own sounds. A few dislikes is the quantize only goes up to 1/16 and the knobs are very awkward and don't have the option to double tap to return to zero or default. Hidden GemYou probably already know that when looking for any sort of music production app on here, you have to sift through page after page of cheesy looking gimmicky apps, many of which look exactly the same. Unless it's a semi well known app with a lot of ratings, it's easy for a decent app to get lost in the sea of garbage. That's how I feel about this one. I came across it on some music production forum, somebody linked to it and said it was their friend's creation, were it not for that shout out I probably would have never found it but I'm glad I did as it has become a favorite and essentially go to iOS drum machine. There's some really clever UI ideas in here that I like, particularly the way to edit velocity differences for each sound. This app excels at creating lofi, dusty, crackly and/or early digital sampler sounding drums with a series of options on the pitch page , perfect for lofi hip hop, which I use it mainly for. The ability to load your own samples limits it to your imagination, and it has ability to extensively edit each sound via envelopes, filters, effects RESAMPLING etc..all in all a great drum machine that I hope the developer continues to support. Pretty good first attemptThe good: Clear layout, punchy sample set, love the Run DMC homage pattern Somewhere in the middle: the mute concept is novel The bad: slow loading time of kits, not keen on having to stop the sequencer in order to arm for recording (should be able to do it on the fly), cannot delete user patterns in menu after saving One more thing: in the description the word sampler is used to describe the product...how is it a sampler? Great Beats only seconds away!!!This is as easy as it will get to make great drum beats on your iPhone or iPad. I love this beat drum machine as it gets the beat out of my mind and on the machine painlessly and with great results! The developer is really awesome too, he is very responsive and loves feedback. AMAZINGI can't believe this app is only .99 this is hands down the absolute most powerful audio app I have ever used (and yes, I've tried them all). The best software drum machineThis is the best drum machine I found so far for the iPad for one very important reason: IT HAS A TIME SIGNATURE/METER THAT YOU CHANGE FOR EACH PATTERN! This is mandatory for any serious musician. Most if not all of the other drum sequencers can't do this simple task. For this reason alone this app should not be free. Add a few instrument tracks and this is easily the best sequencer app out there too! I'm just sayin....there is so much music with one odd meter bar or one different meter bar in it and you can't transcribe that with these other apps.If I want a bar of 5/4 in the middle of my 4/4 song I should be able to do that just like on any DAW. Why are all the other software developers leaving this out? Bcause it's on an iPad? I don't get it. This app is free amazingly! I paid for several other apps assuming they had this simple feature only to find out they don't. So if you want to be able to change the meter of an individual bar/measure in your composition, this is THE only app I've come across that can do that easily..C9etherVersion: 1.4.2

Talk about a hidden gem!!!!Honestly, I own almost every BM2, BeatHawk, iMaschine, DM1, ElasticDrums, Korg Gadet beat making app on the iOS market and I randomly came across this through a YouTube review. The price $1.39 cad has to be a joke or a mistake cause this thing is at least as good if not better then any other one on the market. I'm literally blown away that this exists and has absolutely no following... smh. You need to market this somehow cause you are truly missing out selling this for $1 😂😂😂 Random Requests 🔥🔥🔥 1. Add a slicer tool to load or record a sample and auto chop it across 8-16 pads to play as a instrument. Slice points able to be adjusted manually (auto transient would be killer if possible ) 🚨 2. Implement direct audio recording option to record samples in directly from a microphone or other source.🚨 3. Add Dropbox import option for audio sample import AND every other import sdk option available. Haha 4. Add undo button!... or I'm blind. lol😳 5. Audiobus input for recording samples and licks from other music apps on my iPad directly into beat machine to use assamples.🚨 7. Ability to Import any picture from camera roll to create custom machine graphic and give graphic dimensions for those of us who want to get really detailed.😁 maybe even some deeper custom themes that change the button looks/layout. I'd pay extra haha. 8. Change the name of the app to something more unique, change Apple Store icon and get a new modern logo. If you need MIDI Program Change, DO NOT BUYI'm disappointed to not see MIDI program changes still. I bought this app because it said "fully MIDI capable." Unfortunately Its pretty much useless to me without it. Why make an app with sequencer and sync in and out without program changes? Doesn't that force me to switch between apps every time I want to change each one's pattern? Wait for an update.There was no audio on an iPhone 4s iOS 5, but it no audio issues on an iPad 2. Kits are bland. Some individual sample editing is possible, but pitch is only adjustable by switching the pads to a 16 note scale. Only one delay and one reverb,with a usable mixer.
