I haven’t enjoyed the new changeI love this app. I’ve been reading about the saint’s daily through this app for many many years, and I continue even today. Not too long ago, the App display made changes that I didn’t enjoy, but I thought it was because my cellphone was so old and maybe any updates by the app were not supported anymore. However, I finally got a new phone and it’s all the same new changes. What I liked about the old ways of this app: 1. I could email a friend, family members, and especially my children the days saint’s story. If I read a story’s Saint and it reminded me of someone who needed some encouragement, I would email it them. I can no longer do that with the new changes. 2. The background used to be black with white letters. I miss that. I wake up at 5am every morning to do my daily readings and read about the daily saint’s story. It was very nice not to look at a bright screen (even if it’s at its most deemed possible) so early in the morning. I hope the app developers reconsider returning some of these features back after reading this..Pray4oursoulsVersion: 2.0.6

Bringing closer that great cloud of witnessesReading about the saints and people of God is a constant inspiration. This app makes it easy with its clear and helpful format. I use it daily, and it has worked flawlessly. Thanks to the developers! Update: It’s a couple of years later, and I continue to use this app. The developers have added audio narrations and other features — I look forward to opening it every day. Saint CalendarThe App was recently updated that included excellent new features but had deleted the dates the Saints lived. As a history major, dates are important. I posted a review regarding this change and it was quickly fixed. My stars have now increased from 4 to 5 stars. The Saints Calendar has photos, large print, audio if needed, and the dates the Saints lived with very detailed information about each Saint. Saints, both well known and less soWhen I lead Rosary twice a week at my Dominican parish, I normally include “Holy Mary, Queen of the Rosary: (Pray for us); Holy St. Dominic: (Pray for us)...; Holy Saint {of the day}: (Pray for us)”. Too often, there are days in the calendar without saints of sufficient import to be listed. With this app, I can easily fill in those gaps, without my having to search ‘on line’ for pre-Vatican II calendars— the app also includes some saints from the Eastern Rite/Orthodox churches. A Daily BlessingEveryday my faith is strengthened by reading about the Saints & Blessed. When I read of their trials and pain, it gives me strength to make it through my own challenges each with a joy that can only come from our Lord through the Holy Spirit. Precious content but audio does not workI’ve tried the audio button on both iPad and Iphone x and the audio errors out. It looks like the last update to the app was 2 years ago for IOS9. And would have given 5 stars gladly... but sadly, I had to give only four because every time I try to listen about the saints, it says “audio error” and will not play anymore. This is very frustrating since I prefer the audio. Especially while driving.
