Good weather appI really like this weather app. I like that it uses puppies and shows u like if it’s night time it will show a puppy sleeping or a tired puppy and they r just sooo cute. I just really think it’s cute and love it but Theres just one thing I don’t like. U have to pay for different puppy things like if u want love puppies u have to pay over a dollar for it and I think that’s kinda stupid so I didn’t pay for those and I’m not going to. I just use the default one and it’s still really cute. Other than that I think his app works really good. I always have a problem finding a good weather app that actually works and found this when I was looking around on instagram. I thought I might try it out and see if it actually worked and it does really well. So there ain’t no complaint about that from me. I just don’t like u have to pay for different puppies 😠 if u do decide to pay for one of them tho u have the option to pay to add ur own dog which I think would be cool but I don’t feel like paying good money just for something on some weather app. But anyways this is a really good weather app and I think u should try it out of ur reading my review. I check this app every five minutes!There are some apps that make you pay money to do ANYTHING. This is not one of them. There IS Weather Puppy Prime, but really the only thing that it takes away is ads, but none of the ads are video ads. It won’t interrupt you looking for the weather with a video, which I think is awesome! So I don’t mind the ads. It also unlocks ALL the dogs. But you can choose to watch a video ad to unlock any of the puppies except “Add Your Dog.” So all in all, paying doesn’t really do anything amazing except slap the weather on your dog. And either way, the weather is what matters on this app. So, get this app! You won’t regret it! I MEAN, WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN ADORABLE DOGS WITH THE WEATHER FORECAST?! Also, I noticed that people had trouble finding the hourly weather. But there IS hourly weather! If you scroll up from the bottom, you will see things like the humidity, then if you scroll down even further (past the ads), you see the hourly weather for the next 24 hours! And it’s very accurate! I love this appLet’s face it. There’s only so much you can do to make a weather app put a smile on your face every day. But creators of this app managed it. They have the cutest pics of dogs—of all sizes and breeds. And they’re categorized—puppy love, glamorous, etc. Every city you add to your weather provides a different dog pic. And the pics change every day. So thoughtful of them because they’re just so darned cute. Oh, and the weather information is good too. In fact, it’s better than many I’ve seen. Hour-by-hour predictions of temps and precipitation, for one. I wish there was a way to record actual measurements (for past hours that day), but I suppose that’s asking a lot. It would have been interesting for Minnesotans this winter when there was storm after storm for weeks. If I could make a suggestion, it would (because I’ve already paid to remove ads from this app) to add a category (or two or three) for cat pics. The cutest and most informative weather app!*UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW (below)** The pre-installed weather app on the iPhone now includes a feature that I’d like to see on here - Air Quality. I live in California, which everyone knows is plagued by fires currently. The air quality can change literally within minutes sometimes and being able to see it before I go outside is HUGE. Because of that, sadly, I use the other almost exclusively now. If you add air quality to this app, I’d happy switch back to this being my full-time app. I have to say, I downloaded this app to be silly and just go, "awwww" every time I looked at the weather. But I love the simple (albeit adorable) opening screen with just the current temperature, description, high and low for the day. My favorite app - but no longer trustworthyUnfortunately, the actual weather data on this app is unreliable and is often inaccurate. It doesn’t represent what other websites indicate for the area. I’m not sure if there is a delay in the weather data integration they have or whether their data supplier is just not reliable anymore. This is extremely disappointing. Previously: Seriously, this is hands-down my favorite app. Not only is it extremely accurate (using data from weather underground) - it is also absolutely adorable. The weather UI is intuitive, visual and simple. The puppies in the background vary in mood, environment and sometimes cute dress up depending on the weather. This app is a masterpiece. I used to love this appI used to love this app but over the last year or so it’s gotten worse and worse. I love the pups and the different themes. The 10 day forecast along with the hourly predictions are also wonderful. The accuracy is also usually spot on. My issue is with the radar. It doesn’t load in my area and it doesn’t matter where I am.. I can be at home in Alabama, or in Illinois, Virgina, Utah or California. If there is rain or a storm coming, you can see it coming on radar but on the last 1, 2 or 3 frames, a big clear square appears and the radar isn’t available.. Fun & Accurate Weather APP!I downloaded the free version. It wasn’t long before I decided to purchase the unlock all content option. The APP is like potato chips. You can’t eat just one! I knew that I wouldn’t be able to choose one or two of the puppies backgrounds. I had to get them all at once. I have never regretted that choice. I constantly change the background. I will shortly add pictures of all 4 of my dogs. I have managed to get all 4 in pictures together. I can’t wait to see them in my APP! Best weather app of all timeI don’t remember how I found this app, but now that I have I can never go back to a boring old weather app! I smile every time I open it. It basically shows the weather and a picture of a puppy... What else could you want, The weather it displays is almost always accurate, and the puppies are ALWAYS adorable. It’s even better that the puppies are shown in the same weather that the forecast predicts. The only tiny bug is that when it shows how much rain is predicted during the next hour, it typically has some absurdly small number that doesn’t match outside sources. Almost PerfectAfter years of tolerating The Weather Channel app because others I tried didn't work for me either, I discovered Weather Puppy. I gave it 5 stars despite saying "Almost Perfect" because the two things I would like to see are minor. These are a pollen report and extending the hourly forecast. I have always found this app to be accurate. And did I mention the too adorable puppy pics? As a major dog lover who has 8 rescue dogs I get a smile each time I open the app. The large variety of pics available (and no ads!) for a negligible fee is well worth it. Solid Weather App Plus Puppies!!I got this app several years ago, because of the puppies and fell in love! The puppy backgrounds are great and the weather app is very solid with great weather predictions. My only heartache with this app is that the option to buy the different puppy backgrounds one at a time has been taken away and now you have to purchase a subscription with the primetime. The most accurate weather app I haveAside from the adorable pups which are really cute, this actually has the most accurate weather information in my area. I have about 10 weather apps, i compare them, especially when there is a weather event in the mid Atlantic. Found this after Storm was killed by TWCI found this after the horrible “upgrade” of Storm. This app is very intuitive. The dog angle is fairly ridiculous, however; dogs are cute so bonus, I guess. The only improvement I would like to see is a better radar interface right off the bat. That would get everyone who is griping about the Storm takeover onto this app because the user experience is quite similar to the original Storm. If when you swiped up from the dog pic you got a better radar than google maps it would make this app a perfect substitute for the old Storm. I love Weather Puppy!Even when the weather is miserable, the puppies are cute. I usually use the free versions of apps, but chose to buy this one because it makes me smile when I use it, and it’s always being kept current. Pretty good applicationFor the most part, it is a good application. But it fails to indicate waxing and waning, crescent and gibbous. Also, the photoshopped puppies are poorly done. It certainly isn’t worth contributing money toward. I would consider a onetime purchase if it had shepherds, labs and goldens where I could select multiple sets and have them mix together for display. I never do subscriptions. LOVE IT!!!I've been using WeatherPup for more than a year now, and love it!!! Beautiful canine photography, great support for rescue & shelter groups, and, best of all ACCURATE WEATHER!!! My city can vary by as much as 15 degrees (coast to inland), depending on where you're at. Other apps offer one generic temp reading, while WeatherPup knocks it out of the park by offering readings as close as a block away from almost any area of the city I'm in, any time of the day, and temps are timely updated as conditions change. Good but not what I thoughtI thought that the photos would correlate to the weather experience. So if it were raining the photo would be one thing if the temp was cold or hot the photo might indicate as much but that’s not the case. If it were, when I was IN the same place as one of my saved locations I would expect the same photo to be there but it isn’t. Cute? Yes! Accurate? Sure! But disappointed that the photos don’t tie in the weather as I thought based on the images in the App Store. AmazingSo I’ve had this app a couple times and the puppy’s make the weather fun to look at!!! I would definitely recommend this app but the only problem is some of the weather is wrong sometimes so it will say rainy so I will bring my umbrella and wear a rain coat and everyone’s like what are you doing it’s supposed to be super hot today and I’m standing there like whoops. But other than that its amazing and I love it. They log the weather in there every hour so it doesn’t need WiFi to look at. I’m loving it!!!😋😋😋 Please get the app you need it!!!.😍😀😍😀😍😀Version: 3.4

Love it but one slight recent problemSo I absolutely love this app and have been using it for over a year now, however there’s a slight recent problem that has arisen. I loved this app. Stopped working on IOS 14.2 :(Here’s my review from a couple years ago. I’m so sad it doesn’t work anymore... I got this app because I was frustrated with other weather sources online. Most weather sites will lump the city where I live with other nearby beach, inland and mountain areas into the same weather report. I would get frustrated when the forecast was contradictory, such as saying the high today would be 65 and the current temperature is 72. Go figure. So, I went looking for an App that would do better. I happened upon Weather Puppy and gave it a try solely because I love dogs plus it had good ratings. The weather reporting is fantastic and accurate up to the minute. Weather Puppy gets their information from the nearest weather station and tells you which one and when they checked it (usually 30-60 seconds prior). They give an easy to read detailed report - hour-by hour and day-by-day. The dog theme makes checking the weather fun. Being able to use pics of my own dog is awesome. The dogs drew me in, and the accurate weather reporting keeps me happy!.Good doodyVersion: 4.9.4

App not worth the timeI got this app because my wife had it on her phone and was offered a free upgrade to a breed which I took. I’m not sure if I had to watch a video give an opinion or do something but it took my time I agreed and did what I was asked to do to get the free upgrade so I could have the Corgi’s showing when I open the app and then my phone had an issue and I had to do a factory restore. When I reinstalled this app,weather pup, on my phone again I tried to restore my purchase. and it wouldn’t do it. It doesn’t matter how you pay for an upgrade whether it’s your time doing an opinion watching a video or actual cash they should restore it. I contacted the developer of the app and explained the situation and so far they’re not willing to restore something that I had and that’s wrong.
