Great Game, But Events Are UnfairCan I just start off by saying that this game is fantastic and I love every aspect of the game and the idea of having hero's as your main objective and point of the game, But after playing this game for a very long time (2-3) years I would just like to point out that when there is a new event out I am really excited to what it is and what great rewards are in store, but if you are someone that dosn’t really tend to spend money on mobile games(like me) then the Events are just a really big disappointment and let down to the game and I can only get my hands on certain stuff and win only a little chunk of items. Like I said before though I really love the idea behind the game and every aspect and function of the game to where I find some good enjoyment and makes me want to continue playing and would never hate on this game in a million years and what actually recommend this game to other people. All I ask is too make it to where events are more to where you don’t have to pay to get rewards more frequently but not all the time.. Great game played it for 5 yearsNot a money game, I’ve played for free and am competitive enough. 270,000 br but I not the best but can do most the dungeons. Biggest recommendations for game is I’d update would start with Troops, they’ve been left behind in progression and need more levels and abilities to be relevant to gameplay. Update spells level and types, if you can make a hero or more a month you can make a spell here and there. Garrisons, look I’ve maxed min, I want larger max capacity level abilities and more towers. As of now there’s three types of towers, 5 in all. Make two more and add some walls. I have too many hero’s and nowhere to put them. Add wall garrison as well to increase defense or add totem ability and blasters or something into walls for offense. Mini towers, not a brief ability but a raid long ability. I get the skins purpose but need something to upgrade in camp. Don’t over do it like clash of clans but just enough to put some work in, I always have 3 on standby and two one awards. Lastly green and blue hero’s. Make more, allow them evolution. A evolved purple is still purple. Level the playing field. I want to evolve blue and green into a super blue or green, completely different hero and extended main abilities maintaining color properties but can fight toe to toe with purple evolution in battle..James567876543Version: 2.3.1

Great game not a p2w gameI’ve been playing this game for around 3 years now and here’s what I noticed. A lot of reviews claim that this is a pay to win game. I disagree. Yes this game has constant deals and sales but they are not necessary to win. There are very few hero’s that are only obtainable by buying them but unless your in the top one percent you won’t be facing these very unbalanced hero’s. A big factor in this game is luck. You can have crappy hero’s and be facing challenging opponents, but this can all change with luck. I got my first very good hero from a daily hero collect. This flipped the game for me. Getting a single stroke of good luck will make your experience so much better. With more recent updates igg has made it easy for new players to obtain large amounts of good hero’s and items that it is easy to not find yourself bored playing the game. Another note about it not being a pay to win game is that a few months ago I dropped 100$ in the game I received as a gift. Yes it made it easier to get good hero’s and progress but even now my best hero’s I got from saving up and playing the game. Great game!!! Just a few things....This game is sooo much fun! You can play for free or pay money to advance faster what ever is your preference. The igg team is amazing! They actually do help if you have a problem and communicate with them through the live chat :) so thank you castle clash team!!☺️ The only rather large problem is the chat. People aren’t restricted at all in their chat so some crazy things do happen in broadcast. I like to send our guild invitations through broadcast but lately I’ve tried to avoid it because the language is foul and people are using it as a dating app. Kids do play this game and shouldn’t be exposed to what goes on in that chat. Castle clash team could you guys make the broadcast feature a bit safer or make it easier to mute people? Maybe set it up to where certain words aren’t allowed to be spoken in the chat. Great game, but maybe about economics rather than strategy or tacticsI enjoy the game, and probably play too much, for about 4 years now. If you are really competitive and want to be a top player, luck is almost certainly not enough, you will need to spend a lot to buy the extra resources. But you can do quite well for very little. But someone has to pay for the servers and coders, there are no interrupting ads, so I don’t know why people complain about this. You need to decide how to invest in your heroes and troops and bases to succeed in a variety of subgames that test you in different ways, and more generally how much of your time and money you want to spend. There are now lots of side games, and you can spend hours a day doing them. One annoying feature is that some of the side games or freebies became available after several hours, so if you are trying to improve using time instead of money, you need to game several times a day. It’s fun but has flawsIt’s a fun game to play and I’ve played it for 4plus years now. The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the chat needs to be censored, it gets really bad. And igg has censor capabilities as they use them in their other game. And they have become more of a pay to play game than they used to be. I haven’t rolled one of the new heroes in a long long time. It used to be exciting to save up gems or buy one of the packs of gems, but it’s been impossible to roll anything new, so your better off waiting for a new hero to become $10. I preferred to be able to roll one as it was more exciting, but since I quit sinking money into the game I can not roll anything. I have a friend that has never spent money on the game in the last four years and he rolls better heroes. So apparently you either have to spend money continuously or don’t spend any at all. It did take him a lot longer to level up, but he has so many heroes that I don’t. I have logged in almost every day since I started, so it’s become very disappointing to not be able to get anything new. Haven’t paid a cent and love itYo guys... this game takes some patience. I see a lot of people saying it’s pay to win and that’s not exactly true. What I like about it is that it’s a mix between an idle and an active game. I can leave it and come back and collect, log on every day, but also when I’m bored I can go on and do raids and lost realm and stuff. Maybe it’s just a coc copycat- there’s a lot of those. Never played coc so I can’t say. You can get really far in this game and get the really good heroes without paying anything. It just takes some time and luck. I don’t know if I would ever pay money on this game, but there are ways around it. They are making it easier to get good heroes also. Great game and not P2WI know a lot of these reviews say Castle Clash is pay to win but that is simply not true. I’ve been playing this game for around 3 years on 2 accounts and it is NOT pay to win. I can roll out the new hero’s in like maybe 1,000 gems that I can get from achievements. Also there is packs of resources that come out where you can buy them with GEMS not IRL money. Lastly in other reviews many people say their hero’s become obsolete or outdated after a few updates. That also is not true. The hero Pumpkin Duke one of my very first legends can still EASILY kill the newer hero’s with a good build. The people who say the stats don’t make sense are wrong. Every time your might increases a Valentina figure will EXPLAIN how the stats work and most of the people who said the stats are confusing mostly skipped over it. The ONE and ONLY complaint is that troops need a massive buff. Super fun to play but pay to winI find this game very fun to play, anytime I need something to kill some time I just hope on this game. Only thing I would have to complain about this game is the fact that when I first started playing you could get basically anything from rolling heros with gems, now you have to pay like $40 to get the new better heros. Needs a little more improvementThe games depends to much on heroes and not enough on troops, basically troops do nothing. I been playing this game for like 3 years now and I am pretty far now but I noticed that it is kinda like pay to win. The really good heroes you have to get at events which you have to spend money to get it and it still not a 100% to get it. Plus people spend hundreds of dollars to get a certain hero but they end up not getting it and other people get the hero with even spending 1 cent. People argue what game is better but to me for its is dumb if you like battle royale then have fun with unrealistic graphics because this ones no different the defense should work but it doesn’t so not really a difference. Game isn’t updatingI have been playing the game for 3 years now, and this morning when I woke up to install the update something funny would happen. Whenever the update would finish I would go into the game and it would tell my there was a new update to install. Very time I went into the game after the update it would say that and start over. I the. Deleted the game and tried to reinstall it, but a similar problem happened. Whenever it would finish installing, the icon would turn grey, and then restart itself. Pretty NiceI’ve seen my fair share of games like this, to be honest, I’m a little biased about these types of games, so my opinion may not mean much. It’s a nice game, and managing your resources doesn’t matter one you get into the game, though it’s still good. Once you get to the point of over 5 days of upgrading 1 thing, that’s when it gets irritating. I do know gems exist, but I’m a special snowflake and need to be wealthy ;) Many people do say this is pay to win. While many types of these games are, I don’t understand how people think this game is. I’ve went the entire game spending no money [that I recall, if not it would be on gems] and time is all you need. Since I’m saving my gems, time would be more of a problem to me, but it’s still a nice challenge to work through. Something about the friendship hearts is irritating me. A lot of people would friend you, won’t send a heart, and once you send one they unfriend you. This has led for people to be more cautious and less people actually using this function to the point that a lot of people wait before sending a heart making the other party distrustful. I believe that both parties should send a heart, and when that happens they both get the heart, so that way people don’t “scam” people out of a heart. Great game overallIt’s a very good game I’ve been playing for about a year. I lost my profile after I switched phones. So I started again about 2 weeks ago and there are a few problems with the game. The chats on broadcast get really bad. Really fun game to playI’ve been playing the game for a while now and everyday it’s something new to try and accomplish. There are a lot of heroes and they have different qualities and it’s just a bunch of stuff that makes the game fun. There is stuff I don’t even know what if does, so it’s a learning experience. Really good game but the micro transactions ruin itI love this game, I’ve been playing for a very long time and am still having fun playing it. However the micro transactions that have been put into this game are absolutely ridiculous, every time I go to play an event it tells me that before I can even play it, I have to buy 1400 gems! I am definitely not one to spend money on a mobile game, and when a mobile game basically tries to force me to buy something it pisses me off to say the least. All of the other stuff is fun and engaging because there is so much of it but when it comes to progressing and upgrading and getting new heroes, don’t expect to move very quickly. From an experienced playerI've played a lot of games like this one, some good, some bad. I call them base defense strategy games, or bdsg's for short. I love them. They are the bane of my phone's storage. This is one of the good ones. This is my second time downloading the game and I've been playing for about 3 months. The reason why I first deleted the game was that it was just to easy to progress with out some kind of building I had to upgrade before I upgraded the rest. So many flawsI'll try to make this as brief as possible So first of all, there isn't a replay button, or a log of some kind that keeps track of your attacks. And if there is, it should be more obvious. I've been looking for it for 30 minutes now and i have yet to find it. Secondly, It literally costs 300 gems for a pile of roses to put up as decoration. EVERYTHING costs more than 300 gems. And for what? Mediocre, sub-par characters, statues, and decorations? And then the amount of buildings you get per town hall level is INSANE. Old RewardsI’ve been playing this game for 6 years now but not on the same device had a older tablet that wasn't functioning correctly and had 25k might at that time. Now I got my iPad that has 430k might and still needs blue crystals and red crystals. Every time I get a hero pass level 80 inscribed it requires 100k and currently only have 21 million. In the lost realm I’m level 14 and only get 1 million a day which is good but runs out quickly. It ruins it where I can’t test hero’s abilities and change there talents of insignia. I gave it a 5 star because everyday I’m on it and sometimes I put 5 - 20$ a month-ish and keeps me up to date. Super FunThis game is so awesome. They give you so many easy ways to get really high level stuff or things that are really hard to get. You can even get them for free every day. They constantly update so that there is always a new thing to try. This is also a game where you just go in fight a couple of other people or monsters and level up some things and your done. You don’t constantly have to play to get really good. You don’t really have to plan a strategy so it is a really easy game to play. I recommend this to everyone who likes to see themselves get powerful and destroy. (This doesn’t mean that people become op to the point where they can kill everyone in 2 seconds. Just play and enjoyI’ve been reading some reviews and have to wonder about people. If you like the game, want to support the developers, and show appreciation then sure, buy a small boost. But don’t be stupid by investing a ludicrous amount of your life/money and then complain about getting ripped off when something goes wrong. It’s JUST a GAME!!!! Ei VittuWhile I do love the promotional bonuses and the constant events so there’s so much to do all the time, I really don’t like one thing in particular and it’s why I gave my review three stars; the navigation of these events is very disorganized. If I had one or two centralized locations to access all the modes and daily activities available I’d be more than happy with the gameplay. Maybe you could list the activities and modes with a filter? Starting with the options to sort by Might required, Active Play vs Sending troops out and waiting vs Navigation, Amount of rewards available, and multiplayer vs single player to name a few. It’d help me prioritize what I should be doing and what I may have time for. Also I’m sure I speak for plenty of people out there when I say that a full scale, in-depth tutorial, glossary, and index are needed. I shouldn’t be expected to know exactly what I’m doing after a mere one crash course summary of the mode I’m in. I’d like to see any and all active benefits and rewards -both passive and manually toggled- I can currently take advantage of. This could expand the Pet Menagerie since they already have something similar. tl;dr Navigating the interfaces proves to be a muddled challenge. ProblemThis is an amazing game. I’ve been playing for about 7 years. I love the game but I need help from igg support but I can’t access the live support for some reason. I accidentally made someone the clan leader of a guild I’ve owned for a very long time and that person had not been on for almost a month, so can you please help me out and demote them and reinstate me as the clan leader? HA! 2 years ago you guys said you were trying to fix the inappropriate usage of the chat but you still don’t allow people to report other people. Great. But flaws.First of all, it isn’t but is pay to win. It isnt because I personally have spent no money on the game and have many double evolved hero’s. But it kinda is because to get the TOP heroes, you normally need to spend money. I used to save up till I had 10k gems then roll them all and get some decent heroes, but lately, like the past year, I haven’t gotten a single good new hero. Great but needs a little improvements.I love this game. It is amazing,glorious,spectacular. I love the bazzar everynow and then I would buy a 5 dollar pack poor very rarely a ten dollar pack. If it was to have another update. I have a few suggestions. At the bazzar the lowest packs they have are five dollar packs. If anything was to be fixed it would be that they would have 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9 dollar packs as well. Best F2P GameIn my opinion this is the best F2P game going. Thanks IGG ! There are so many things you can do, battle opponents, Lost Realm, HBM, Hero’s Trial, Labyrinth, Team Dungeons and so many more, the list goes on and on. Plenty of great Hero’s to choose from (70 at last count) so many Talents and crests to choose from, then there are the pets. The game is fast pace and exciting, I play 4 of them, all F2P and have rolled top Hero’s, you need not spend money to play a great game, have top Hero’s, seriously compete and have a good time doing it. This game is challenging, you need patience to obtain the best of the best, but it is worth it. I have been playing for about 4 years and am still just as excited about it as when I started. IGG has gotten a little carried away...I have played for 3 or 4 years, and I remember in the good old days when dragons were hundreds of dollars and not much of a factor in the game except for the top 1%. Now we have all of these pay-to-win heroes and other features. I thought that with the addition of better rewards for events that IGG was listening to players and trying to be more appealing to the free-to-play players. For this I had previously defended IGG and said that this game was not pay-to-win. And then they added Lvl 13 skills, Zephyrica, Breakthrough 30, and Lvl 9 Insignias. Every update there is always a new broken hero that is so expensive and you have to buy or else you will underperform. Great GameThis game is always a great time killer. There are a lot of different elements that keep this game fun and exciting. It is a long term game and the creators are not a money grubbing cash grab like Game Of War. It is free to play and for real is free to play. You still have options to purchase gems and speed up the process if you so wish, but you don't have to. The only negative thing I have to say about this game is the instructions are a little vague. Used to be goodI’ve been playing this game for years, maybe 5? Can’t remember. I never paid for anything, which used to mean slower progress. But lately they implemented new game mechanics and new heroes that are designed to force you to pay. In the past, when you got a hero, you could level them up all the way and level their skills very slowly but still, it was possible. Now, when you get one of the new heroes (which could take months to get one) you need another copy of that hero for every leveling up. So to get it to max you need like 10 copies of that hero. So like, 20 years ish until you can level 1 hero all the way. They implemented crippling changes to banish all the free players. As it stands now, the game is not for free players anymore. A new layer of heroes is replacing and overpowering the old ones and you need to spend thousands of dollars to enjoy the game. I’ve rolled some of the new heroes, but they are useless to me, since I need to roll 300 more of them to level them up. And my old heroes are getting destroyed by the new ones. Very fun but the definition of p2wI played this game for like 4 years before finally quitting a year ago because every major update would much further increase the gap between people that paid and people that didn’t. They make gems easy to get in order to give an initial illusion that it is f2p friendly, but don’t let that trick you. The most obvious example of the p2w is the “event only” heroes, which translates to “you have to spend real money during a specific time to be able to get”. These heroes are almost all super OP at something at their time of release and for long after. These would usually cost up to about $2000 usd on release and get cheaper and cheaper over time until they are up for $5. Then they add things like the breakthrough system, which iirc about doubled stats of heroes on average at max level, and made they for several months had progression on it near impossible besides buying your way to max. Terrible people running this game.I had this game for years and even spent quite a bit of money on it building up my account after awhile. The reason I’m leaving a bad review is because just recently they had a server issue with the app crashing while trying to open it on the iOS server, I tried waiting until they put out a statement about the incident but it never came and while my app was still useless because of it crashing I lost my guild that ranked high 200. I figured out that deleting the app and reinstalling it fixed the issue that many people were having. So I messaged them about me losing the guild and they denied any was wrong with the server and it was because I hadn’t log in for the 7 days which obviously was due to the server issue. Its upsetting they couldn’t own up to a mistake from their server and fix the issue.... even if they put out a statement to their users that there was a issue with the servers but instead they ignored everyone and pretended it never happened. I still play this game but that’s only because I’ve invested years playing this game and I’m hoping for the developers to fix the issue.
