Not Sure Yet But This may Be BrilliantI've worked with a lot of financial software, and just when I think I've found the perfect app, I find a major flaw, or it gets too cumbersome, or it's too simple, or it crashes, or something. On a whim I downloaded this app, when they announced automatic sync via icloud. The app is stupid simple. It records expenditures, period, although it organizes them in a pretty useful way. But my immediate reaction was that I couldn't make a budget or even deposit money, and it wouldn't work. Then I thought, maybe this is really all I need. I know what my income is. If I input my recurring bills at the first of the month, and all other spending as it occurs, regardless of what account I pay them from, I will know instantly if I'm on track overall. I don't need a budget and lots of custom categories, and so forth. I can track my net worth somewhere else. So this may be genius....KS, San DiegoVersion: 1.3

Good Expense Management App, But Needs Some TLCI really like this app. It's simple, functional and gorgeous. But to get straight down to the point... I'm a little more than confused by how things work. Adding expenses is easy. There are symbolic icons representing many different categories. Past that point though, I stumped. Maybe it's just me, but it seems a little more complicated than it should be. Just... Everything about it confuses me. Of course, this review reflects my initial experience. I'm sure a little more practice will make things easier. Deleting things, I found, was a hassle though. Took me several tries to delete items in the years screen. That part needs some tweaking. Helpful.Next on iPad is the perfect way to get the big picture of your expenses. Thanks to iCloud, all of the expenses I enter into Next on my iPhone magically appear in Next on my iPad in just a few seconds. The animations are beautiful. Everything works flawlessly for me. (iPad Air iOS 7.1) The interface is very clean and easy to understand. No mileage tracking?Great app for tracking just money. Would be perfect if you could also track mileage. Gave it three because it only tracks money. Add the option to track more than just dollars. Thought it was great...I thought this app was great, there could be some usability improvements like letting me name categories, view expenses by categories. Also would be useful to be able to add a note when I'm adding the expense. But I give it a 2 star because you have to purchase each app separate for both iPhone and iPad. Really? This is not worth the $3 price tag. So to get it on iPhone and iPad you would pay twice the amount. Also I see iCloud sync advertised, but where do I set it up? Flawed syncingUpdate does not fix: I cannot get the iPhone to sync with the iPad version. Yes, there are many settings that have to be set correctly (thanks, Apple ... not) but I do believe that I have set them all. Not suggestedThis is a review for the 1.0 version This app is way below my expectation. The iPhone version is great. But the ipad version is just showing numbers and very basic charts.
