Use It Nightly - There Is A New-ish BugI love the app and I use it nightly it definitely helps. Lately I would say maybe since the last iOS upgrade maybe I've had an issue of Setting my time and everything being fine with the app and pressing play and it acts like it's playing but there's actually no sound. And I've checked to make sure my phone wasn't muted and all that good stuff and it's not. Once this happens basically the only way I can get the app to play properly is to restart my phone. So that's a glitch I'd like to see fixed. In reference to the Developer's response: I said in my review that I did all that. The review still stands it's a glitch that needs to be looked into. SO many bugs!!App freezes so you can’t turn the sound off except by deleting the app! The volume slider disappears together with the back arrow so you can’t navigate out or choose another sound. I’ve twice had to delete and reinstall the app and each time lost the premium version I’d paid for. The version I have now won’t allow me to add new sounds, I have to start over each time scrolling through all the categories to find the sound I was using last. Imagine going through all that in the middle of the night because your husband started snoring! I like the sounds offered in this app but I’m using another white noise app, because it…just…works! Sweet DreamsLove this app! Can download sounds into App Library, and combine up to six different sounds to create personalized mixes. What’s even sweeter is that I can control the volumes of all sounds in the mix. That way I can, for example, have the wind louder and the crickets toned down, making for a more effective sleep inducer. Mixes have me drifting off in no time. In the past, I’ve woken up in early morning to use bathroom and found it difficult to fall back asleep, but with Sleep Sounds mixes I’ve created, I’m back to Dreamland. App also allows me to set duration of time that mix will play and then automatically stop. I usually set it for 30 minutes, but I’m lucky to conk out in minutes. If I could I would give this app a ten.This app is like a dream come true for me! I've got so many different apps with sounds that I enjoy but it's a pain to try to remember which sounds are in whitch app. With this one you have over 600 sounds in one place! If you can't find several you love among all of these I would be very surprised. The timer works well. Some don't work at all in other apps. If you are having one of those nights where you just can't sleep then you can just listen to all of these sounds and relax while you snack on ear candy. Awesome!This is absolutely the best app for sounds to help you sleep. The variety of sounds is beyond what I would have expected. Not to mention you can combine some of them together to make your very own personal mix. I have purchased many machines which cannot even compare to this app. And those machines cost way more than the $3.99 I paid for the app. I now have this on my iPad and iPhone. Now matter where I go, my sleep aid with be with me. A big plus to me is that it will play continuously until you tap Pause. There’s also a timer you can set if you prefer. This app couldn’t be better but...I love this app! It will take you on a mental journey away from our stressful world. I just have one request. Can you add a low toned fog horn or two? You only have one nautical fog horn. I grew up on the shores of Jamaica Bay in The Rockaway peninsula in nyc. The low toned fog horns at night used to relax and make me sleepy! The only one fog horn you have is high pitched. Now with all that aside, this is one awesome app, and the upgrade is sooo worth it! Sleep Sounds is awesome!I have Stage 4 Cancer and getting to sleep is so difficult. Sleep meds have not worked for me so I don’t take them. Meletonin or Benedryl don’t either! This app has so many sound choices and ways to customize your sound choices, you will be able to find that sound that helps you sleep! I paid the few dollars to get the full app with no in app advertisements and tons of sounds to choose from. I turn it on to my sounds, darken the room and in a fairly short time, I’m asleep. Big fan but...I’m really loving this app. Was using the free version before but there are so many more options when you buy. I’ve always been a pretty good sleeper but age creeps up on you and I needed a little help. I keep one of my mixes on all night and I quickly fall back asleep if I wake up. Nice variety of quality soundsIf you’re looking for a nice distant train whistle, you’ll find one on the Pacific Chorus Frogs and Train track . The whistle is not present on the preview. It would have been nice to have a description of each track that would help in finding specific things of interest such as this, rather than downloading and listening to complete tracks. There is a good variety of sounds in the app, but it took me a while to get the hang of the user interface, and I still get confused occasionally. Overall a worthwhile purchase. Other Than Being BUGGEDI LOVE the app, but TRULY DISLIKE being bugged to death to write a review, ESPECIALLY even AFTER you have written one already. However, I still think it is worth five stars due to the sheer enormity of its catalog of sounds and how you can create mixes to suite your every need. One of the really PLUS features is you pay ONCE for all the sounds, and download only what you need for, the moment, and if you run out of room on the device, just remove some of the downloaded sounds. Love it, Customize your sleep sound!I've had trouble sleeping most of my life and would just leave the fan on my window AC going all year round to drown out random sounds. I tried several apps before finding this one and they all had something that irritated me enough that they actually kept me up. This is way different. My personal sleep sound is a creek, rain and a little campfire on top. Soooo relaxingI love this app and usually use it along with earbuds to drown out the noise in the office so I can focus and get things I need to do finished. Helps me sleep everyday!I work nights and this app blocks all those terrible daytime sounds that keep me awake. Amazing AppI love this app, had it for a few years and bought the full version a year or so ago, worth it. The wide selection of rain and fire sounds are exactly what I wanted. I do wish there were a few more sounds, like a greater variety of soundscapes and public places ones for example. I also wish that I could add more than 6 sounds to a single mix. I would absolutely love this app more than anything if I could add my own songs into a mix as well, so that I could play my music along with the rain and other sounds on a loop. Very relaxing & a good valueAfter searching through several versions I settled on this one after trying the trial. There are some good relaxing natural sounding sounds that are very realistic, some are a bit much but they might be appealing to others so its all good.
