Awesome instructions on BILT app!The 3D graphical representation of assembly in BILT app is top notch and very helpful. The written instructions move quickly and I found myself backing up and pausing quite a bit, just to catch everything. In some areas, the written instructions move to slowly and I wish I could have had a way to speed it up. Maybe manually advancing the written instructions would work better. I’m very impressed by the app instructions, but found myself referring to included paper instructions from Teeter for clarity. Some areas of the app needed updated a bit to include newer part designs and include accessories that can be ordered as part of the package for the Teeter inversion tables. What did I do before this app?Best app for assembling products. I do almost every assembly by myself, even when it says 2-4 people needed. But with the help from BILT, I can do it all myself. No more waiting on someone else or their schedules. With BILT I can run through the instructions to know exactly what to expect before actually assembling it. Love that I can pause and replay over and over at my pace rather than reversing a video and hoping to get in the spot you need. The graphics are great and the steps are broken down simply. They do vary from the paper version that comes with the product but I’ve come to rely on BILT, it is a better version for assembly. Every product should be in the BILT app! Glenville Kitchen CartThe 3D directions were mostly helpful for the assembly of the cart. Had to replay some sections a few times to be clear. Directions for 2 screws and 2 dowels in the 3D were reverse of the booklet directions and the booklet was correct. Had to re-do those pieces as the next section didn’t line up properly. The combination of the booklet and 3D directions worked well together. The directions for the drawers onto the slides could be a bit more clear. And the safety releases on both drawers do not go in the same direction. The left side releases downward and the right side releases upward. The drawers need to be opened and closed a few times after assembly until they slide smoothly. There is no way the cart can be assembled in 45 minutes. It took us nearly 6 hours. BILT is a winnerFirst time using this app and believe me I’ll always look for products that use this app for assembly in the future. I purchased a Member’s Mark gas grill from Sam’s club in a box. I wasn’t looking forward to the assembly as it always seems to be something that isn’t quite clear in the instructions and many times I find myself disassembling something I already put together because I didn’t quite understand the written instructions the first time. Not with this app. There were 62 steps and everything went together without a problem. The 3D cad type instructions make it so easy to see exactly what to do. Total GAME CHANGER!!!I ordered a spring free trampoline and professional installation. After one month of trying to get the professional installers out, I finally gave up and decided I was gonna have to put the trampoline together on my own. I am very handy, mechanically inclined and have assembled tlota of Furniture, sports equipment etc….in the past. I find it the norm that in included instructions are usually very vague and lots of times difficult to understand. This usually adds hours of frustration as well as just wasting time to an installation. This app was like having a professional installer right by my side. Couldn’t imagine building without it!I rarely write reviews. However it was so great to have the voice and the ability to see the animation. I even zoomed in to verify the nuts were going the correct direction. I’m not close to a handyman but can follow directions carefully and I did together this inversion table on my own the first time. Went smoothly but of course seemed longer than it said. Wish I had timed. I went carefully so no worries. Feel good that I did it correctly which is important given the dire (but probably justified) warnings about improper assembly can lead to death. Where has BILT been all my life?For anyone who has ever looked at the 2 dimensional pictures and terribly written descriptions included in almost every set of instructions - celebrate! BILT’s 3D imaging allows you to remain laying on the floor in awkward positions to fix or install whatever you’re fixing and installing but now the views can match your view, no matter what angle you’re looking from. Simply awesome! Products that have BILT intelligent instructions will now move to the top of my list when choosing between Products A and B. If everything were this easy!We purchased a 4 burner gas grill from Sam’s Club. One of the first things it recommended was downloading and using this app. It worked beautifully! I would recommend doing it on a larger device such as a full-size iPad just so that you can see things in a larger size. But it was so nice not to be using the paper manual. You can rewind the action and see it easily a much larger. And if you question which item of the parts provided you need to use, that it will tell you. Absolutely wonderful. Saved my lifeSo being single female I tend to get stuck with instructions that sometimes don’t make sense well this app takes the instructions and bring them to life. I had caught the mainstay Lawson television stand on sale and was looking forward getting it setup. Get to one step and it wasn’t making sense look at instructions and pictures finally decide to google cause well you know google is your friend what do you know not this time but after a little more research I got led here. So helpful !I got a KidKraft Dollhouse. The instructions included were very vague. I downloaded the app and was very impressed by the instructions in the app. The whole dollhouse was in 3D, parts were exactly as real life. Which made looking for unnumbered parts much easier if you knew what scene or color the part actually was. You can zoom in and see the exact hole the screw needs to go in. Wow...I will use this app from now on. However, I would give five stars if the build time wasn’t wrong... not because BILT was wrong, but because Backyard Discovery was wrong and BILT didn’t verify the build time on the instructions. I’ve put 2 of these together. I helped my father in law put theirs together for all the grandkids and it was 6 days after work every day. Calculated guess 35-40 man hours of labor. Well, I like building things, so my wife and I got one for our kids. My daughter and I put ours together in about 25 hours. I believe that with what I’ve learned… I could put it together in 20 hours. Would’ve Failed Without This AppI assembled a mack-daddy Weber Grill in about six hours. About 70 steps with heavy pieces and dozens of small parts. The app walked me through every detail and I used slow motion replay every time. Ability to zoom in and rotate the diagrams was important, but being able to select and detail each piece of hardware assured I never chose the wrong part. Instructions How They Should BeI almost kept with the good ‘ole instructions provided with my unit. However, I saw the 3D interact instruction app option and gave it a try. So glad I did. The fact that you are given a visual instruction of how something should be done is good. But the fact that you can flip that upside down, or to the left/right and see it down from another angle is amazing! Fantastic!I recently bought two new garage door openers to replace 20 year old relics. The installation instruction manual that came with them was good, but BILT was sooo much better. It is a step by step video that tells you exactly how to install and test the opener. It also tells you what specific hardware to use in each step and these agree with the parts illustrated in the installation diagram that comes with the opener. Awesome appI’ve never written a review of an app before. I had to for this one. Bought a Weber Grill and while the printed assembly instructions were decent this app made it super easy. Being able to zoom in and rotate for a full 360° including top and bottom made all the difference. The printed instructions said 2 people 1.75 hours. With BILT I did it by my myself in the same amount of time and that was with a broken foot and a walking boot/cast on. I only wish every manufacturer used this app..Tifosi550Version: 5.16.0

Amazing companion 4 assembling Weber GrillOf course assembly of a genesis II grill is made easier by quality parts and engineering BUT this app helped with an amazing amount of supporting info that allowed me to put it together single handedly the first try. The ability to rotate 360 and zoom in so you can make sure you have things in the right orientation was invaluable in what can be a stressful task. Wonderful!I downloaded this app as suggested on my swing set box that was delivered to me. This is so incredibly thorough! Step by step instructions with pictures as well. Helpful but lackingI used BILT to assemble a Weber E-410. The app provided mostly helpful step by step instructions. It was lacking in 2 ways. 1) Some instructions only apply to the LP version of the grill. The App did not always make this clear at the beginning on the instructions for those steps. 2) Every time I checked the hardware needed, the app referred to bag A. Weber provided 6 bags labeled A-F so I had to refer to the assembly guide Weber provided. The BILT instructions did not follow the Weber assembly guide so it was a little difficult to find the step to insure I was using the right parts. I stuck with the BILT app s process and successfully completed the project with occasional reference to the Weber assembly guide..Fowey1Version: 5.5.1

I’m a visual person and seeing the product in 3D and being able to move it certainly can’t hurt anyone putting something together. Not sure what some are complaining about. Life made easierWow, what a cool concept and app. A step by step 3D assembly manual. Great blow ups where needed and very good illustrations of parts to make sure you use the right one. Replay as needed and voice when there is something critical. I assembled a Weber Genesis II grill with no difficulty or assistance in a much faster time than if I would have used the paper manual. Great app used it several times now for different assembliesI have no use this app three times twice to assemble the two different cribs and wants to assemble a weber master touch grill. In all cases this app is a godsend for home assembly. The 3-D motion effects are very informative and the ability to select the angle to view at is also extremely helpful. MUST-HAVE app!!My husband and I have NEVER put up a brand-new ceiling fan before, let alone wire anything. As a woman i assembled a grill using this amazing appI bought a weber grill S-345 and I installed myself even thought the manual recommends two people, because it was so easy to follow the steps using BELT app. I was not able to register the product nor from Weber website , neither iphone app. But I managed to register the grill using BELT app. A notification email was sent immediately that they sent the registration to Weber. I’d be lost with out it.This is a great app, not only does it stay on the last step you left off on when you exit the app, it also gives you every detail information about the scores and bolts to use, to the exact measurements. This was a lifesaver and actually spend less time building it. My last advice, if you have the cash to dish out to have someone built it, do it. Very helpful appWith help only to remove and replace the lid, I was able to successfully assemble my Genesis II 345 all by myself self in about 2 hours. This could be a five star review if the parts had labels and the audio named the parts. There are a few tiny maneuvers that were hard to see in the animation, but aside from those two minor complaints, this was great. Directions were confusing at times and spares to all the partsWhen you was putting together I noticed that there were steps missed on the directions. I saw that I had a bunch of pieces left from the lock clams that could have been used on my tv stand. Also there was a part of the 3 d model that did not match up if the piece I had. It was missing a lock clam on the model for the center area. Another thing they could improve on is add more pieces. Mainstay tv standThis is the first time I have ever used the BILT app. I love it. You can go back steps, change the view, etc. I have to say that the directions for the sliding door were backwards. They show the L facing towards you but I learned it should be facing down. The sliding bar does not fit if you do it the way the app says to. Really great idea and executionThe project I did had the rotation pivot in the corner of each model. I'd suggest calculating the center of the model and using that as a pivot instead. Even better if the center of the selected piece would become the pivot. This App Made Me Lose A Bet!!Unfortunately for me, we had 2 door knobs to replace & I bet my husband I could install mine faster & more efficiently using the Bilt app ONLY, while he installed his with no instructions at all. I’m one of those weirdos who loves instructions & manuals & I was initially super excited to use this app, (honestly it’s right up my alley!) Well, I lost the bet because the app shows the door latch being installed backwards. So I installed everything in record time, locked the door from the inside to test it & was able to pull it open without unlocking it...what a freakin FAIL! *I checked the Defiant instructions (which were correct) & sure enough, the app was wrong. So I had to totally undo everything I just did & by that time my husband had finished & of course had to step in & show me the “right way to do it.” Uggh...pretty disappointed to say the least!! 2 stars because the app does have a lot of awesome features...but none of that really matters if the content is wrong!.Power_PrintcessVersion: 5.18.0

The Instructions Were Completely WrongI liked the idea of being able to use the interactive building guide that this app offers. I purchased the Backyard Discovery’s Cordova 14x10 Gazebo and I tried to use this app to help me build it. It was fine at first but there were little things that seemed wrong when I was sorting parts. I was struggling to get started with the project because the app said I needed parts that weren’t included. I thought the manufacturer sent me the wrong hardware because the app said I was supposed to have 96 of a certain type of bolt and I only had 7. After speaking with Backyard Discovery’s customer service (they are fantastic by the way) they said the paper manual provided is more accurate since Bilt is a 3rd party that isn’t always up to date. When I compared the paper manual to the app, they were correct, the manual I was provided was correct where this app was wrong. Why?! Just include printed instructions 🙄This app took something simple and made it an absolute nightmare. My husband and I have put up several ceiling fans over the years and NEVER have we EVER had to use an app for insulation. We can generally get a ceiling fan up in half an hour with printed instructions because he knows the first few steps. They are all pretty similar in that aspect. So we are able to skim through and get to where we need to quickly with printed instructions. But with this app, absolutely maddening! It took us an hour and a half to install a ceiling fan for my father in law. This app turned a quick, easy project into a long drawn out process and had my father in law stressed out by the time we were done. Why must everything be on an app these days?! What happened to good old fashioned paper instructions?! My father in law has told several of his friends about this ordeal and none of them can understand it either..Love to be organized!Version: 5.38.1

Unrealized potentialSo I bought a garage door opener that had this “BILT” feature. Sounded like a brilliant idea. Eh, not so much. This is basically just a robotic voice reading you the instructions. The associated photos and animations are very basic and minimally helpful. The very first step was wrong in that it did not even match the printed instructions. Not a good start. Got around that, but thereafter I was underwhelmed. This app *could* have provided insight into especially tricky and confusing spots in the assembly, nope. It *could* have provided instructions on assembling the optional extension bracket (for taller doors; a very common occurrence), nope. It *could* have included instructions beyond the basic travel limit setting, nope. I guess, it is free, but there is unrealized potential here..Mhops1Version: 5.12.0

Diagrams in app are useful however...Let’s start off by saying manufacture estimates it takes 2 people about 8 hours to assemble this swing set. The app was recommend by the manufacturer of the swing set as it was on all the boxes of materials for the swing set. Started off alright but started to realize some things were off, (about a few hours into build) when the directions on certain steps used wrong pieces. If I had use the pieces as instructed by the app it would have posed safety risk to any child using the swing set. The only useful part of the app would be the ability to zoom in on what washer, nut, bolt, or whatever goes where assuming it is the correct piece you are suppose to be using in that particular step since it’s so small in the printed manual. In conclusion, ditch the app save yourself the headache, anxiety, and overall time wasted having to redo hours worth of work and just use the manual provide. At least what I had to put together couldn’t blow up if assemble wrong, I’m fearful of any one who uses this app to put together a gas grill. App Is Only About MarketingMy opinion is this app’s main, underlying purpose is to get a way to text and email you with promotions. I could be wrong. The BILD app gives you access to a PDF version of the EXACT same installation guide that comes with the product. Why do I need that? I was installing a product that required me to cut electric power to my home in order to install the product, a ceiling fan, and that took down my modem and router. The app uses the internet, and gets crabby without net access. Who needs an app that seems only to give you what you already have, with the downside being you’ll get inundated with marketing nonsense in your texts and emails?.PhroedrickVersion: 5.22.2

NopeTried to put a mainstays tv stand together and during the process it had some misleading info. For ex: the back side and the front side were indistinguishable in the steps, and I questioned them but did as they said. Only to get to the end and realize it is incorrect. Now I have to figure out how I'm gong to remove the nails. Very inefficient if you can't use the technology you're given to make simple instructions for a simple product. I've run into a lot of issues and product flaws lately idk if anyone else has. Use your words!This app has pretty graphics. That’s it. Oh you can rotate the images too, the programmers had fun. But it doesn’t help you assemble. All they need to add is the audio describing what to do. As an example, when putting on the wheels it’s important which side you put the locking wheels on. Both the book and the app have a lock icon to indicate this, but it’s easy to miss. Obviously I did. This is a great opportunity to make the app useful to point this out!
