Best Logo-Design App I’ve Found after a Year-Long SearchI’ve wasted my money on several so-called “logo design“ apps in the past year. They were all over-hyped and rudimentary. Not the case here. I bought this app today and immediately put it to work. The basic purchase will do the job for many. After a half-hour of experimentation, I felt confident enough to purchase the bundled package. This is AWESOME! Don't dare peruse your way past this app!To think that I've always paid for "branding" which included logo production for my businesses. I now realize that is just a fancy way of saying, "give me your money because I have downloaded Hand Drawn and you have not." I can create a better logo than the goons that I've paid in the past. Best 1.99 I ever spentI’ve been waiting on a graphic designer to make my logo how I want it, redoing again and again, for weeks already. I downloaded this app for $1.99 and finished the logo to my liking in less than two hours. Just created a flyer in one hour. I only wish there was more info/support on the different aspects of how to use the program, ie: how to remove a picture after you already placed it there. Really nice appI enjoy web design. In the past my greatest challengers have had to do with logos and original art. I have no artistic ability, in terms of drawing , or anything covered in art classes from elementary school up. Fun to useI have enjoyed using this to make flyers for an animal rescue I volunteer with. Easy to learn, easy to import pictures of png logos etc. my only issue, and maybe I just need a helpful hint, is text. Most apps you can control the text- for example hit enter and it creates a second line, or squeeze the box to manipulate how many lines of text from what you've typed out. With this I find I have to creat a new text box for each line I need to write, and it gets very hard to manipulate afterward because of the multiple layers...otherwise I've really enjoyed it. Fun!I love this app! It's helped me become more creative when on the go. I'm able to quickly put together a design for clients then build off it later. My only suggestions would be more styles of block fonts, basic shapes both filled and outlines and being able to sync designs across devices. The only drawbacks that I have really found are that I can only enter one piece of text at a time which means that I'm saving a photo multiple times and then importing and that there are a lot of similar badges but not a huge selection. Great for proof of concept logo designIt's not only a fun app. It has amazing practical applications! I'm really enjoying doing rapid prototypes that can serve as proof of concept logo designs which I present to my clients. It's save us both a lot of time and grief. I am still learning how to use it. Way better than the competing free appDisclaimer: I'm getting free stuff for reviewing this app. However I never give an app a rating i don't feel it deserves. In about 2 minutes I made some awesome labels for kitchen stuff. Printed them on a label maker and they look great. Now all my dry goods are labeled with what they are and the cook time and the labels look amazing too! Text is an issueThe backgrounds are great but when I want to add text there no way to change the font size that I've found (if it's there is not obvious or intuitive). AWESOME APP!This is such an intricate yet extremely easy to use design app. BEST on the market! EDIT: I’m no longer able to import images from Dropbox! The previous menu where I can choose my upload source was more intuitive and allowed me to open Dropbox from within the app. This version forces the images to load within a tab, and when I scroll over to the Dropbox tab nothing loads. Not my favoriteI have several design apps on my phone and this one is toward the bottom of my list. It's irritating that you can't move layers backwards or forwards. I typed out text, then added a decorative border. Well now I can't go back and select the text without moving the border to the side to access the text that is "underneath" it.
