IMaschine 2 App Comments & Reviews

IMaschine 2 Positive Reviews

The App That Time Forgot...This app is good for what it was intended to do: get done rough ideas for songs and tracks using quality (44.1 kHz and 16-bit? SERIOUSLY?!!?) sounds/samples. But two years or so and countless soundpacks later, I’m looking for a swing function that DOESN’T affect all 4 tracks, MIDI support for playing keyboard parts (because large fingers don’t work well on small keys), and addressing a bug that causes the app to crash after saving custom drum kits (ever since iOS 11!!). I also agree with another reviewer who mentioned that file management (as well as importing and exporting projects to something OTHER THAN MASCHINE, which is something many of us DON’T have) needs to be better and more integrated. It’s sorta “bassackwards” to develop all of these soundpacks (again...44.1 and 16?!!?) and ignore the framework and usability of the app itself. I mean, thanks for the addition of effects and all, but at this rate, NI shoulda added this app among their numerous updates and additions to their arsenal of products across the board. Maybe an iM3 wouldn’t be too much to ask these days...?.Version: 2.2.0

Needs more featuresI’ve always used this app since the first one, I’ve actually made great songs on here since it’s very easy to use, I just wish there was more settings & features like a actual Maschine, I wish they’d add a feature to change only tone for sounds instead of changing both speed & tone at once, it’s a lot of little things like this, that could be added easily. like effects on only certain sounds would be nice instead of the whole pad, I don’t see why they don’t it’s not hard other apps come with that. & they kinda just abandoned this app hasn’t had any new packs in forever, I wish they’d have more of a variety of sounds, some packs come with the same sounds as older ones, I want realistic guitars, indie, pop, common rap sounds, no more rock or edm type of stuff, also more groups cause it’s easy to run out, & I wish they update the software because I can’t even trim a sound it’ll pull up the screen instead of moving the little line to cut the sound, wish they come out of abandonment with this app & make it one of the best apps again, because fl mobile has all this & more but it’s more complicated, I love Maschine products more, it’s like apple & Samsung, who even using Samsung anymore ? I prefer Maschine for its simplicity but hi tech abilities. Pls fix & add new things like this !!.Version: 2.2.3

This App is Good But Needs ImprovementsThe number one thing needed is cloud support. Actually all of their product would benefit from cloud services that way you would be able to sync all projects cross all your devices and their products instead of needing work arounds when changing devices or want projects for the computer app or vice versa. Also they need to update this for iPad Pro 11” because there are big boards around the app. I don’t think they update this app much because it seems like they aren’t trying to improve the app in general because they know it’s good. But the thing is it could be better with small changes that could drastically change the user experience. If they could fix those complaints this app would be A+ because outside of those complaints it’s really good. It’s a slightly simpler version of desktop version which is a good thing on a mobile device..Version: 2.2.0

Amazing workflow - Devs: please don’t abandon! This app has my favorite workflow for beatmaking out of anything I own on iOS or Mac (and I have or have tried pretty much everything). I’m not exaggerating or joking. The “step mode” in iMaschine2 is the fastest way I have ever found to lay down bars, create variations, and lay down a solid foundation. From there, you just record (play) most of the melodic stuff (anything that requires a keyboard). The challenge with this app though is there aren’t enough tools to properly finish, mix, master the track. Not a problem, it’s great at what it does well. However, if there is no further features to follow such as a piano roll, legit mixer, ability to use outside Fx (AUV3), then please at least enable a function to export our stems to audio. I’m sitting on a bunch of tracks I like a lot but they’re sitting indefinitely because I need a way to export stems. I’d love to see further developments on this app but if not, please enable this one feature! This workflow is hugely underrated and the folks I know who actually learned it all agree - nothing comes close. It would be a shame to see it stuck in an app that is amazing like this but has some limitations that we can’t work around. Thanks for the quality product! Hope there’s more to come (or even im3??!).Version: 2.2.3

New sound packs please?I like the app for what it is and enjoy most of the sound packs that it offers. But with the vast amount of full version sound pack expansions released recently, you’d think they would release a lot more app expansions for users to try. There are other applications that offer new expansions almost daily or weekly. I feel like the time it takes for NI to drop new expansions for the app are stretched so far in between that you find yourself burning through the downloaded expansion sounds quickly, or sort of lose interest altogether because of how repetitive the sound banks become. I understand that it’s a demo of the full expansions, but releasing new packs for users to try more frequently wouldn’t hurt..Version: 2.2.3

Amazing!I had been contemplating getting this app for some time because I didn't know how fluid it would be far as making beats on a mobile device but after reading reviews and taking a chance, I was amazed. The interface is smooth and looks great. There's no lag and it quantizes sounds perfectly. You may struggle at first but once you get going. It's hard to stop. What really makes this app great is the ability to export this right into Maschine on your computer and pick up where you left off to do even more. By no means is this app perfect or meant for full production but if you're out and about and got an idea come to mind, look at this as a sketch pad to get those ideas out, transfer them, and go in more once you get home! Also you can get all the expansion packs separately for one price of $9.99. Which is a great deal so you can't beat it!.Version: 2.2.0

NI, you there?I sunk a decent little chunk of cash into this app, its expansions, and the previous release, and it won’t open at all! All the projects I had been working on aren’t accessible! Every time the app opens, it crashes before I can get to the workspace. I’d really like to be able to use this again, it was perfect as a go-to when I wasn’t at my laptop. But now that I haven’t used it for a while, I’m starting to notice what others are saying in terms of it needing improvement before I even had this issue. Hopefully NI doesn’t forget about this one! Please don’t make me buy another 20$ (30 something including expansions I copped) app lol, just fix this one 🙃 I really hope your pricier products don’t get abandoned like this one did.Version: 2.2.0

SETLIST For onstage musicians! Reverb!!!Thanks for listeningGreat app. I'm a drummer and I actually use this to loop my click tracks during church service. I can also adjust tempo on the fly of course. The Reverb that was just recently added to the app is great too for dynamics that I can actually use during service in the loop helps create a better worship experience. I'm hoping the developers pickup on this review and also add a SETLIST. I've got so many tracks that i take too much time finding the next track, I actually end up creating a pause in service that's a little too long for what I would like to achieve, and that's smooth and fast transitions. Especially because I'm controlling it and sometimes my other hand still needs to be busy playing. Thanks!!!.Version: 2.2.0

Mobile Powerhouse could Use a Tune UpI’ve been making beats with this in combination with my mk3 since the mk3 was released and I have a love hate relationship. The idea is 10/10 and I would be devastated if Native Instruments ever gave up on this app. That being said the app could use some work. The latest update moved step mode into the pattern menu instead of the old force touch design and it makes the work flow slower. Also FX could benefit from offering more than 2 slots. That being said I’ve made countless beats that started as sketches on here and I consider this app a crucial tool to be used in conjunction with desktop Maschine’s. Please continue to update and listen to user feedback!.Version: 2.2.3

Possible added features similar to the DAW version.Love the app for years now. I only wish there was a way to change pitches on a pad for multiple tones within a song without having to use more pads. As well as when adjusting the tune level or any levels for the fact if there are visible numbers to see to match different pads or changes to match without guessing until you get home and use the Maschine Studio. Last some how incorporate the slice feature and the loop feature to auto sync samples for perfect timing as well as from a 110bpm to sound the same as it did at 83bpm like the DAW version. I hope any of these could be one day added or all. Thanks for the great app and hardware/software to love using!.Version: 2.2.2

Awesome app!First off I want to say thank you for the compatibility update. This really is one of my favorite beat making apps. It’s easy to use, great for beginners. Many sound packs that are awesome. Pure drip is probably my favorite to make some hard rap beats with. Would love to see more sound packs similar. Quick tutorial videos in the settings would be nice. It would be helpful for us visual learners. It would be helpful to be able to easily put melody loops in loop playback with one touch. So there isn’t any need to worry about my timing and can keep my melody playing constantly well I make the rest of the beat. Hopefully that makes since. Just a hold loop button. I also would love to see more piano sound packs and orchestral. With beautiful melody loops with them.Version: 2.2.3

Best 4-Track BeatMaking AppLike many of the best apps out there, the user interface seems simple, but it hides so many Amazing features under the hood. While only allowing 4 tracks and up to 4 patterns per track...there is so much you can do within those parameters. Each pattern can be up to 32 bars and each track in pad form can hold up to 16 sounds. You can even adjust the panning, volume, and tuning of each sound. You can combine the patterns to create an unlimited number of “Scenes” for your masterpiece. There’s no excuse for not creating great music on this App. Native Instruments, please do not abandon this app. Please update it at some point soon, so that it may be usable in upcoming versions of iOS. Thanks!.Version: 2.2.0

Can't Download Qauntum Collection for imaschine 2Love this app. I'm making songs that I could never have dreamed of back in the day. This app made me want to get equipment from native instruments. This app is amazing and I couldn't be more satisfied. That is until I bought the iPhone 13 ProMax. I ran into a downloading error which is costing me a lot of time and money. I transferred all of my data to the new phone. And when I hit the restore purchases button everything downloaded back on my phone except the qauntum collection. I have hundreds of songs made and I can't acces this download. Native Instruments needs to do a better job helping their customers. Anyone else having this issue !!????.Version: 2.2.3

Good....but...Still much to be desiredMany see this as just a scratch app...yes it is,but why make us all suffer. What do I mean? As an owner of too many NI tools to mention, this app is just scratching the surface with its current state. I owned version 1 and upgraded to 2 immediately. I've been waiting for portrait mode in order to use the entire screen real estate. I've also been waiting on a proper arrange window.... Like that of the MPC Pro app....what gives? Can we also get more groups and 16 levels? Please? It would really help when bringing it into the $999 piece of gear I already own. I love the MPC App, but guess what? I'm using maschine....it would be very helpful to have similar features. I'm loving all of the updates, but they seem to come quite slowly..Version: 2.2.0

AmazedHonest this has been my wheels for over two years and I’m never turning back from music for as long as I live. Great app and numerous ways to use so many sounds on kits, or keys. I’ve got to say I’ve lost countless projects due to the fact there is no account system or cloud to save to.. how I reflect that I should’ve sent them out at least somewhere.. but is there absolutely no way getting them back? Are they actually gone? Anyways I will always own this app as long as you guys are available. Mobile studio like this is game changing. Even on my iPhone 5se I surprise people with what this app does. Thanks a lot for this..Version: 2.2.0

Thank You "NI"Reverb! Such a nice addition. Still a lot more things that can improve the mobile capability of this app that doesn't contest with in Fruity Loops Mobile Studio. Id love to see a option on the next update involving a 1/64th for creating a more intuitive beat for on the go and also you guys should add more than just 4 tracks!!!! Maybe a couple more would spice things up a bit. Instead of just limiting this app, expand it and show off the potential that this easily usable application can put on the table. For 5$ it is still quite a steal! But until that day there is a 1/64th option for more intuitive beat creation on this app it will always remain 4 stars..Version: 2.2.0

Good butI really like the idea of this application but have only used it to capture real rough ideas. Considering the touch interface on phones and try to get the timing right one of the biggest things that I think would really take this app a lot further would be truly being able to edit the notes or at a bare minimum being able to quantize after recording. Please please add an update that at least gives the ability to quantize after recording. I think this App would be so much more useful with either a real editor or post recording quantization..Version: 2.2.0

Best app to start with.Got this app for fun, because I was far from having enough money to actually be able to make beats. after making some pretty cool beats off this app alone, it convinced me to look into Native Instruments even further. Now I’ve got the Maschine Mikro MK3 and I was able to expand on the beats I had made on my phone even further. I would definitely say this app sparked up my creativity for making beats, and was a major step in getting a feel for maschine software. As stated in another review, this app can very much be a useful “sketch pad” for ideas that you have to work on in the future..Version: 2.2.0

Excellent app! If you have Maschine you should get it!I have almost all NI product (Komplete 11 ultimate, Maschine studio, Maschine jam and 16 expansions) that being said. I really recommend to have this app as well. If you are working, on your break, airport, etc... you can put some of your ideas together and then export it to your Maschine and keep working on it. At the beginning I purchased before having all NI products that I have now and I didn't know how powerful and convenient can be this app. Also, is easy to use! Give it a try! Get the expansions as well..Version: 2.2.0

Why limit it?This app to me is more than a scratch pad for Maschine. It would be nice if they would add core MIDI to this app, so I could play it with my MIDI controller. The only way to record on my iPhone with this is by using Audiobus and tapping live with my fingers on my phone. If I use a loop I programmed then the export feature is nice, but my music doesn't always have looped drums! This app has some of the best sounds available with a huge library from which to choose, but it has been held back by making this a "stretch pad" when some of us don't have the PC version. This app is solid, but needs some advancements..Version: 2.2.0

Great App for Church MusiciansThis is a great app for making click tracks for a worship setting. I was using iMPC but the sounds on iMaschine 2 are way better. Only thing is i wish there was a way to make a playlist or setlist. I don't like it asking me whether I want to save changes or not even if i only opened a track to just play and not edit. It kills the workflow, especially when trying to change the click track in split seconds during a service. I hope they can add a playlist feature with quick smooth transitions between tracks like iMPC does..Version: 2.2.0

This app is truly amazing !!I love everything about this app! I would really love it if there was a way that it would not lag while being paired with a Bluetooth device... every time i try to use this application while it is connected to a Bluetooth device it seems to be off by a whole eighth note:/ Another neat thing would be is if there was a live play option for the tune of the sample like there is for the dynamics. Other than these two things, it is an amazing product..Version: 2.2.0

Great app!App is great unless you need customer service or something is wrong from Native Instruments end, then you’re done. I’ve been waiting a week and a half for an instrument kit ($10 in app purchase). I’ve talked with 7 different people from iTunes to try and diagnose my download error, talked with my bank and now will be sitting on hold (have been for 40 minutes) with native instruments. By now it’s almost not worth it but I really enjoy making music from my phone and I already have NI products that I use in my studio. Native Instruments support could use serious improvements..Version: 2.2.0

Everything is great!! Except the crashingThis app is simple and very easy to use compared to any real beat maker out there. It’s the next best thing besides the real beat maker. This app has simplified how beat making is for beginners. The only thing I that has been a reoccurring problem is the crashing when you go into the app, and while making music in the app. Other than that it’s really fantastic app to start having fun with. You can really make some incredible music with such simple tools to use. Worth it !!.Version: 2.2.0

Same app after 2 yearsThere will be a time where your usage on this app is maximized and therefore will no longer be needed. I have reached this peak. I have had this app a little over 2 years and I have used it repeatedly. I have no use for it any longer for it’s limited capabilities and lack of updates. It would be great if we can add more than 4 arrangements, is just one example, then again… They no longer update it. I have switched to Korg Gadget, they allow usb and Bluetooth connections with external midi controllers..Version: 2.2.3

I use this app every dayI’ve been in the hip-hop game for a long time to say this and I made a lot of music on hardware and software this is the #1 of the best apps on the App Store hands-down and I’m very thankful to have this software on my iPad while being on the go or away from the big DAW PC I can’t thank you enough and hope to see this app for a lifetime. Us artists and producers beat makers appreciate this software deeply thank you again truly.Version: 2.2.3

Many great memories...I used to love using this app to make basic beats and create ideas for future songs I would produce. That is, until I could no longer open the app. A while ago, I found that I can no longer access the application anymore. This saddens me, since I had many treasured songs stored in its files. They will be missed. All I'm asking of the devs is that I can at least open the app so I can export my songs. Other than that issue, this is a great app! I hope I can recover my songs soon :(.Version: 2.2.0

I love iMaschine! Most HD sounds available! I wish you guys had more sounds available! I love the recent packs you’ve added need more HD Lofi lol I love it! Give me more! I enjoy it way more than BeatMaker and MPC, keep up the good work! Again just please add more sounds! At least a pack once a month or biweekly would be cool also! Appreciate the work the devs put in they’ve helped me every time I’ve run across a problem! All love!.Version: 2.2.3

Why has this happened?Either my phone is not installing iMaschine correctly 😂 or after the 2.2.2 update or whatever you guys recently did made the app go nuts !!! I can even open the expansion packs some parts of the iMaschine display panda don’t show on screen it’s soooo strange....I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the iMaschine app numerous time and nothing. Over all Great app loved it on my iPhone 8 but since I got the 11 something went wrong 😳.Version: 2.2.2

Please add more tracks for layering soundsI give it a four because I feel limited when only being able to create ideas using 4 tracks on the go and trying to fit as much sound content as I can into it as I can. It would be nice to be able to mix additional sound content separately too. We are there with mobile applications working as “DAWS”. This would be an excellent upgrade with all the sounds I have purchased though this app. Cmon developers..Version: 2.2.0

Best with Maschine on OSBest to couple with the actual maschine. You can easily transfer the idea that I can get down in the app to my Mac and bring to life with maschine & Logic Pro. I started by making beats purely on my iPhone with imaschine & GarageBand. It's all you guys need to get started. Get good at it. Take your steps to all that. And if your parents got you then grab the real maschine as well with a Mac to easily transfer your ideas..Version: 2.2.3

Great But Needs Some Tweaks -> Desktop ImportThe app is only good if you buy all the packs it offers(it's worth it if your serious). It has a VARIETY of sounds && you can basically export it in SoundCloud or IMachine for the desktop and continue your work just how you left it. My only problem is when you actually export it into the desktop. There's no way to import the project back into the app. Idk I like working on the phone better than computer. Faster workflow for me..Version: 2.2.0

Missing one thingThis app is amazing. I have loads of fun making beats using my iPad Pro. I even export to Maschine on my MacBook Pro. But one thing that would get this app 5 stars. Which it deserves 5 stars but since there is a computer version to this app and being the technology is there. I feel it would be phenomenal to use my iPad as a remote to control the software on my computer. I take my laptop and iPad with me on the go but to carry Maschine Hardware as well is just to much..Version: 2.2.0

Love the App!My ONLY concern is that the app force closes on the iPhone X when the phone is in low power mode. The app will not open at all. It took me a while to figure out what it was that was causing it to force close, but you guys should try to get on that as soon as you can. Side note: it would be really nice if the app allows users to change the sound effects per instrument, or at least per scene..Version: 2.2.0

Good little toolNice little medium for getting ideas down, just a beat making app, with very little production specific opportunity, unlike FL Mobile. It would be cool if they expanded on the app to include a little more production options, but would settle for an updated FX section and a way to more precisely adjust the transients to fit the mix a little better, making less work for when the DAW work comes in..Version: 2.2.3

The Future Of SoundI am a professional musician and producer and im blown away by design and power of this app. It is the future of mobile music making, but it's available right now. Worth ten times the cost. How about an opportunity to send feedback through the app? Most of the abobe creative apps have this feature. I've always got valuable feedback as a power user of this app. #NativeInstruments.Version: 2.2.0

Kind of needs a new updateThe app is great over all and really easy to use. Though the last time there’s been an update for this has been like two years ago. With each new expansion added, the ideas for creating content seem endless. If anyone could just bring this app up to date, that would be great. The app keeps crashing when I’m trying to save kits, and naming the kits. When loading a different project..Version: 2.2.0

It’s ok for sketching an idea. The sounds are really good and the simplicity is great for sketching out a beat idea but the this app has no integration or accessibility with other DAWs which makes it hard to continue working on your idea. The fact it has no track out option is frustrating. You would have to record each track into your DAW one at a time. The options are, You either export the whole project to be imported only in NI Maschine if you own one) or your stuck with exporting the master out..Version: 2.2.0

Please Heed my advice!!!I am such an avid fan of this app. Im also an amateur software designer and let me just also say i use this app for my music business to make finger drumming videos on instagram! These are the only small changes that if you made would make this the #1 music production app. - REMOVE THE 15 second sample limit!!! (Beatmaker 3 proves that you CAN do it) - Independent swing on each track (idk who thought it was a good idea to do anything other than that) - ALLOW MIDI CONTROLLERS! This could literally change EVERYTHING. That would Put this app instantly ahead of apps like Beatmaker 3 and garage band because i love them but they arent as simple and minimal as Imashine 2 which is why despite its flaws its still my favorite. Please ask around, im sure many would agree with my statements. Thank you for this app! Very very much appreciate it!.Version: 2.2.3

Update for iOS 12?Any possibility of an update for iOS 12? This is a great app for producers. Since we haven’t seen an update in a year it’d be nice to see one for iOS 12. The only flaw I can see as of right now is the app’s stability. It’ll crash and won’t reopen causing the user to uninstall and then reinstall every time it crashes. Other than that, it’s a great app and well worth the money..Version: 2.2.0

TOATAL MISSSorry just wish this worked in a nicer linear way more like the daw it would be of mass appeal.Version: 2.2.3

Next beat please!Great app, worth every penny so precise and the ableton link is very handy!.Version: 2.2.0

Could be incredibleThere is an issue where keys become stuck on the keyboard, if this were fixed it would be amazing. As it is you can only write so much before encountering the stuck key issue and having to restart the app. Makes it very difficult to actually write anything..Version: 2.2.3

Great but some problems persistOverall, it works really nicely, but it gets frustrating when you face software issues that don’t seem to be addressed. I’m getting some notes cut when i try to sustain them. Also, it looks like fx can only be applied globally; would be better if they could only be applied to patterns or segments..Version: 2.2.3

Update the App for iOS 13It looks like a broken toy.Version: 2.2.2

Best app around!IMaschine 2 is not given enough justice or credit...Best app on iOS!.Version: 2.2.3

Durable and user friendlyI love the overall fuctionality on this app. i can make tracks in seconds and the ease of use. I would just like to add to have more effects and the ability to save project files in different DAWS such as ableton live or FL Studio in the next update..Version: 2.2.3

Best Production App just needs some more extras!I’ve been using iMaschine since the original app came out and it’s absolutely amazing!! It’s got everything you need to make full blown productions, and amazing expansions. You could also import your own drum samples and loops with the AudioCopy! The only HUGE issue I have with it is not being able to import samples into the app that are longer then 10 seconds. Meaning any loop you wanna import longer than that has to be imported in 2 or more cuts. This is a bit inconvenient and tedious. I also wish it was a little bit easier to slice samples and that there was more then 4 scenes per bank cause it does limit how many different transitions that you can do in a track. Piano Roll is also a pretty big missing essential. Step mode being able to go up to 1/64 or even 1/128 would be nice too😉. It’s still an amazing app tho and it definitely deserves its credit for being that! I’m hoping soon in a future update you guys can add these minor things to truly make iMaschine2 not only the best music making app, but actually put it up against computer driven DAWs as well!.Version: 2.2.3

Dope app stop complainingIt’s obvious after reading app reviews 85% of the people complaining just don’t know what they are doing ...it connects to GarageBand fine and works on all devices perfectly if your not texhonologically disables . It’s such a awesome app and the fact u can get studio sound expansions for 1$ is insane. Only complaint is I wish it had some sort of files app import or even better AudioShare integration . What would be over the top insane is auv3. Then this app would literally be my go to for every production but still a solid app..Version: 2.2.3

Great app but annoyingFirst off this app is extremely intuitive and it’s super fun to make music with it. One huge problem and that is that you will find that your music changes randomly and alters what you have originally created and you will find songs you have made will disappear for no reason. This makes making music in this app unfulfilling at times and you will feel very disappointed that the music you worked that you felt proud off is suddenly gone and to never return..Version: 2.2.2

IMaschine 2 not connecting to GarageBand.I’ve been using iMaschine 2 for my production with GarageBand and for some reason it hasn’t been connecting lately, and even if it does connect there will be no volume. If you could fix this issue that would be really cool, I wanna produce again man..Version: 2.2.2

IMaschine crashing !!!Ever since iPhone X , This has been crashing . I depended on this app to sketch out ideas , it’s really killing my workflow not being able to use it anymore . Please fix ! UPDATE !!!!.Version: 2.2.0

Just a suggestionThis app is one of the best for mobile music production in my opinion. The new update is working great, but there is one function missing that i think should have been an obvious addition. There doesn't seem to be a way to sync between your devices. It seems a little crazy to have to buy every expansion pack twice if i want to have it on two devices. Also, if someone wants to leave one device at home for a day, they also have to leave the projects on that device at home for that day. Please update with some sync ability..Version: 2.2.1

Perfect with latest update.I have been waiting for this update for a long time. Works perfectly. Last year, App was crashing on iPhone 7 an XR. The fix was only to remove the battery low consumption option. No need anymore..Version: 2.2.1

Too basicLooks good, sounds good, easy to use (though it could use a lot of workflow improvements), and has a decent library of sounds. Unfortunately the 4 track limit and lack of basic tools like EQ and insert FX makes this little more than a toy. There’s no reason the full Maschine software can’t run on an iPad Pro and even support the hardware controllers. Hopefully they’re working on a major new version, because this one hasn’t been updated in years and looks abandoned at this point..Version: 2.2.0

Amazing howeverPlease add a way that you can use music from music apps like spotify.Version: 2.2.0

Super great and good and stuffPurchases don’t seem to work on my phone though...? I click the price button and it just flashes and nothing comes... I want to buy the ultimate collection....Version: 2.2.0

5/5Good af.Version: 2.2.0

The best out there!!I’ve been using imaschine since the first release and it only gets better and better!! I’m also a Maschine user and imaschine is a great implementation.. I use it on the go then import samples to maschine .. 5 stars!!.Version: 2.2.0

Great app, but would be better with MIDI inputAm surprised NI doesn't support MIDI input for triggering the pads..Version: 2.0.1

The BEST Music app! This is the best music app I have used and the most fun. I can save it and share it with my friends or I can import it into the Maschine software. The only problem with the app is the "Tuning" it sounds good and how it's supposed too BUT If you are sampling a song and want to speed up the pitch it's hard too get all the samples/pads at the same pitch. I think they need to add a number or something so we know where the pitch is at. But besides that, PERFECT APP and a must have if you are interested in making Music!!! 9.5/10.Version: 2.2.0

VillainTheVandalI really enjoy this app, and I love the option that you could sample your own iTunes music. Thanks for making this app, and VillainTheVandal is my soundcloud if you're willing to check out some of the fun beats I made so far......Peace.Version: 2.2.0

Loving this app. Excellent!I have played around with a number of the other drum machines on the app store, and iMaschine 2 is better than almost all of them. The ease of use, the quality of samples, the Audiobus and IAA support, the expansion packs with a huge variety of samples and example projects… Plus all of it is under $10 right now. I honestly love this app. I use this as the drum machine for my Stienberg Cubasis DAW and they work perfectly together. The only downside to this app, is that as far as I can tell, there is no MIDI in support, nor any support for hardware at all. Doesn’t stop me from making great beats while mobile, but I have to admit, MIDI pad support would make this app absolutely perfect for how I work. Hopefully someone at Native Instruments is reading this..Version: 2.0

They Did It Again.....Well put together NI, just review by my friend "KSounnd" on YouTube. After watching it was a no brainer. Keep yeah posted on how I like it.....!.Version: 2.0

Love itSurprisingly powerful.Version: 2.0

👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿Buy this app. It's dope! Super easy to use, check out a YouTube tutorial 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾.Version: 2.0

Good update!A good step forward if we compare it to the first imaschine. Be able to construct scenes with patterns is finally possible. I will put a 5 stars review to this app when it will be possible to have more than 4 groups and 4 patterns per group plus the ability to load external synths..Version: 2.0

Nice upgradeThis is a tight little upgrade from the first app, which I loved. This is my guilty pleasure, time waster. I throw on some headphones, pick a few kits and start something new and in the moment. Reselling all of the original apps expansion content at a buck(and some change) is a nice touch. Made this an easy upgrade for me. Nice job NI..Version: 2.0

I can get lost in this for hoursBye bye battery, I am addicted. This is a HUGE step ahead from iMaschine 1. Do not miss this introduction deal, such a steal to get everything for $6. Get your groove on!.Version: 2.0

Huge upgradeI just bought the new imaschine 2. Great product. Played with it for and hour and made 4 beats. A very big upgrade from the imaschine 1. Love the new keyboard functions. The patterns are also a huge help since the first one had no pattern availability. The step option is pretty awesome that helps give beat making an extra oomph. The colour scheme for the pads is pretty cool just like the Mikro, MK2 and Studio maschine. I was pretty disappointed to have to purchase the expansion packs again since I had bought nearly all of them for the imaschine 1. But I can't complain since I only purchased the ultimate collection for $1. I heard the price will be going up after Dec. 1, 2015 for the app so I am happy with my purchase..Version: 2.0

MidiMIDI needed NI, better import and export options like AudioShare and also option for play head to follow your arrangement.Version: 2.0

Well it's about time!As an owner of iMaschine 1 I must say I'm thoroughly impressed by this this version. I now feel like I can make a seamless transition from my iMaschine to Maschine Studio. With the 50% deal and all expansion packs for $1 you can't go wrong (grab them while you can). I had purchased all expansion packs individually on version 1. Had no issues spending $8 total CND for a studio in my pocket. Thanks NI :).Version: 2.0

👍😍😘❤️.Version: 2.0

Good app but nowhere to take it!Good: -Relatively easy to learn -Create loops easily -Sampling is fun w/ pitch change & backwards -Powerful and stable software -Quality sounds Bad (Depending on your needs): -You can't make full length songs (eg. 3 minutes) -You can't plug in a real drumpad -Hard to edit a beat, for instance if you nail a real nice loop but one pad press was slightly off you can't just move it ahead or back in time. You'll have to redo that one drum kick over and over til it's recorded perfect. I used the first iMaschine app for two years and then bought the updated iMaschine2 and used it for a bit before buying FL Studio Mobile. FL Studio Mobile allows you to record full length songs, plug a drumpad into your iPad/iPhone, and edit a beat... All the things missing with this app. iMaschine2 is fun for making little beats but to elaborate and create a musical masterpiece, you might want to keep searching..Version: 2.0.2

Great appPlease allow project files to be sorted by date!.Version: 2.1.0

Good packs, needs midi in!This app would be sooo much better if I could plug in my Maschine MK2! Besides that, chop function is sweet. Packs are nice. It needs a side chain compressor..Version: 2.0.2

I hate to say itI have more fun with this app than I do in my DAW It's making me think seriously about switching from Push to Maschine Studio. You can really make great music ANYWHERE. 4 star because we can always improve. Also I'm German, I hope my English is okay. That is a lie. I'm Canadian..Version: 2.0

Intuitive but powerfulI'm coming from the realm of guitar songwriting and exploring electronic music and this app is great. Pretty powerful and really awesome sample quality. I would like to see a way to control the recording input more: gain, edit clip, reverb and compression would make this app 5 stars..Version: 2.0

Best music making app on the app storeThis app really makes it a lot easier than any other app and a big improvement from imashine 1. It is definitely worth the money if you enjoy making music..Version: 2.0.1
