Great app, just a few things.I love this app and have been using it for a while now to make dongs & stuff. However there are a few things that need improvement. My first and biggest concern is the saving feature. You have to manually save all the time to ensure that you don’t lose your project if the app crashes or if you have to close it. Multiple times now I have closed the app, forgetting to save and losing almost all of my progress. I would recommend an auto save feature, or at least some kind of reminder system or confirmation system that makes sure you don’t close the app without saving. My next concern is quantizing. I love it for some things, like making steady bears & different melodies. However, there should be some kind of feature where you can quantize duplets and triplets in the same section so that you don’t have to split it. Nothing LoadsI could have the best internet but if there is a sample of audio that isn’t midi… scratch that. The beats/drums, the midi, or even audio seems to be enough to just make a track stop playing randomly. Could you by chance make it so I can download the audio to the app so even if my internet isn’t straight up 100gb per second it can actually play the entire song I’m trying to listen to without freezing or just straight up stopping, also can we not open a project when I open the app every single time. Atleast make it a setting to pick which the person prefers. Another thing, why is it if I play a track then leave the app open for a while and come back, nothing plays at all. Not a huge deal breaker just super annoying having to close the app then exit out of the new project is forced me into and then I play 15 seconds of the track and it freezes then I have to start over. Half goodSo I had to make a school project. All I had to do was play around with making beats. I started working, and sat at my computer for a while. I went to take a break, so I saved it, and when downstairs to read. But when I came back up, my Chromebook had turned off. No big deal! So I open Soundtrap up again. And when I tried to edit the track I already made, it doesn’t let me. So I think: “This is annoying, but I can always make a second track beneath it. But when I start making a second track, it sends it back to the beginning of the song, which is not where I want it. I move it back, but since I’m using beats, I edit it. This sends right back to, you guessed it, the beginning. Please allow for tracks to be edited and remove the fact that when you edit beat, it sends you to the beginning. Another problem I have is with recording my voice. Last year, I had to do a recording of myself speaking for school. But every time I record myself, it sounds really bad. I waste 3 DAYS trying to figure this out, and eventually realize that you got to edit the sound to Clean 1. No clue why they make the default static, but I guess someone thought they should. So all in all, Soundtrap (of course, not the app, because the app is terrible, never use it if you can use the desktop version) has ruined 1 school project, and wasted 1 hour and a half of volunteer time sitting at a compter, after working until 4pm. Divide Premium songs and regular songs and fix some stuffPlease please please please please, have a whole ‘nother section just for premium. I have to scroll through hundreds of premium loops and it’s exhausting, and on top of that, if I click out of the column for the loops for a second, when I click on it again it takes me straight to the top like I hadn’t just took 2 minutes trying to find something. There isn’t always something I’m looking for so I can’t always search up specifically what I want. Please make it easier. CrazyI loved this app In the beginning but it seems like the owners just left us with something thats messed up every time I have a subscriber I have to delete the app after subscribing than re download than delete again than download it again just for it to work than they add a tab that you can’t even tap on that’s for artists or songs section nothing happens… I can’t even make my choices of sounds octave or fade in or fade out anymore seems like theirs a bug and a glitch and the owners don’t really care anymore would put five stars but looking at the reviews and having this app for years and doing my work in here for years just went wild especially since they don’t respond or try to look at the reviews and see the problem just money hungry companies sad…. This app gets worse the longer I use it.I found soundtrap about a year ago and it seemed like a dream come true for a beginner to recording music, but at this point the app is basically useless to me and the desktop version is becoming frustrating as well. On mobile, you can’t use headphones - HEADPHONES. Which means you can’t actually listen to anything you’re doing (the iPhone’s built in speaker really doesn’t do anything justice), and you also can’t record anything or else you’ll be able to hear the track you’re recording over in your take. You can’t edit instruments, and you have to manually save constantly. The app also crashes all the time or fails to load things in. It needs serious help if it wants to keep its user base thriving on its technology. I don’t want to switch to anything else but I’m looking for alternatives at this point.HellotomaeVersion: 3.1.3

IPadThe lag on the iPad (when I have to use it), disrupts the recording, stopping, and after hitting okay in microphone questions. Also, I'm a new user, as well as someone who didn't grow up with computers. As I learn how to use the AP, I do find it easy to use. Living with a disease that keeps me horizontal, outside of a few minutes at a time, I'm grateful to have your program to learn so I may still pursue my dreams and have my lyrics of my life heard one day. Not as good as it used to be, where are the developers?I used to love this app, I’ve made upward of 50 complete, professional sounding tracks with this app. I’m coming back to it after a hiatus of a few months, only to see some smaller features missing. Love this app BUT..I love this app, it has everything you need down to creating your own beats and samples incase you need inspiration or a quick beat to write on. One thing I don’t love about this app is that Soundtrap recordings doesn’t have noise cancellation. I don’t have or get a lot of quiet time to myself but when I do, I can still hear the background in my vocals and there’s no way around to fix it. There’s an annoying bug, but great overallI’ve been using this app for a while now and enjoy it. I can play a variety of instruments, make music fade in/out, add effects, etc. But I’ve been having a problem lately that’s killed the experience for me. The bass. Whenever I play the bass, notes will randomly not play when I click them and even silence notes in previous recordings, but sometimes it comes back after another listen. This problem only affects the bass. The other instruments work just fine. Please, fix this issue and I’ll give 5 stars. If it would help, I have a 6th Gen Apple iPad. It’s alrightI use this app quite a lot but there are many issues with it, first of all the worst part of this app is when I’m trying to pick instruments I can’t scroll down, and I know it’s not an issue with my phone I’ve tried this on other phones and I still can’t scroll down, Second there are features that are missing from the desktop version, Now I understand that it’s hard to port applications to a different system, but there are free big features missing for example the patterns beat maker, personally I think the patterns beat maker would be perfect for mobile devices but it’s nowhere in sight, I do like the app but some issues stand out too much..Real F4Version: 2.5.1

AppI love Soundtrap and have been using it a little over two years now. However my problem is with the new app update. I like the way the old update was with the navigation and the design. To me, it was better than the new one. Whenever you open the app with the new update, it takes you straight to the studio, which I think is inconvenient. SoundtrapSoundtrap has been a fairly user friendly way to continue some sort of choir during the pandemic. I have used this with my church choir made up of members ranging in age from high schoolers to senior adults and most have been able to use the sight fairly well with some troubleshooting along the way. I’m planning on using Soundtrap for education with my public middle school and high school students when school resumes. One weakness I wish Soundtrap would address is the ability to “lock” a track so that preliminary tracks cannot be erased inadvertently by someone adding a track..Choir BBVersion: 1.13.1

Very Good just one problem...Need to fix the ios app because when i get on it it flashes the screen and keeps loading. Sometimes it even crashes. It just keeps flashing on and off for a while until i can finally press something. Also, can you add the ability to add the animations in the mobile version so i don't have to use my laptop because its old and the CPU easily gets overloaded with the music? I make music and this app makes it so much easierI love that I can, at any place, at any time, as long as I have WiFi... instead of taking notes I can actually freestyle to a beat. I’m also a web/mobile dev. The future of the OS is the “browser”, and SoundTrap is one of the pioneers leading the way. Besides a few key board shortcuts and advanced engineering + plug-ins (which I can’t do anyways), its in my top 3 of online audio suites. Great pricing, awesome response to feed back, and an all around great product. You can’t go wrong with Soundtrap. I’m advocating for a mass export, or export as “file format”. That would just be too sweet. For now I have no worries and no complaints downloading one by one. If ur like me... I think I have 100 projects and I want to send them to my final mix engineer, it’d be nice to send them all in bulk. I ApproveI Approve of the app because one time I was recording my voice of me screaming then, I put 84 volume petals on my voice with a bit of reverb. Then I connected my phone to a Bluetooth speaker. Let’s say the kids in the daycare was ok. Later I was eating pasta then I saw the daycare was burning down. Great app on a computer-terrible on IOS.Alright, so I was downloading this app hoping for a chance to record my song on IOS since my computer died. I downloaded the app, signed in and it brought me to studio instantly. Then, no buttons worked and it seemed extremely broken. It’s alright, definitely needs workI’ve been using Soundtrap for over 4 years, and I haven’t had much issue with the computer version. However, this app has broken so many times, with constant logging out, inability to scroll through instruments, and a noticeable audio playback difference (the computer plays the music through headphones differently than my phone and headphones seem to). Just a wantThe app is amazing! The only problem is though, whenever I try to use my mic and record a song it says that the sound is too loud or something like that and I don’t know how to fix it. Theres a bug all of a sudden…Soundtrap is a pretty good music making thing, i use it for the cartoons i make. Should go back to the old versionThis is a good app for beginners, I've been using soundtrap since 2017 and it’s always been good how it was, but this update has ruined everything. It isn’t appealing to the eye and its more studio focused than just play socially oriented now. I think that is what made soundtrap good and you minimalized the app pretty much. Crashing and Bug fixesMy friend told me this was a great app to get so we could work together on music. It’s Good, But Very BuggySoundtrap is a great music producing software for beginners who want to get into music. But it is very buggy and at times frustrating to use. For me my projects save automatically, but the problem is, when I go back to listen to them, it’s only a messed up portion of it. But the project will be fine and just the way I put it. I want to move a note on the line and it automatically just put it perfect positioning. AmazingThis is an amazing app for making music, and the website as well. However, I spent 3 hours on an instrumental beat and forgot to save. When I was done, I gave it a title and clicked save. Like it but...Don’t get me wrong, this app is wonderful but it would be even better if it didn’t require me to restart the app literally every 10 seconds. Doesn’t work on my computerThis app could be great, unfortunately though, it’s not. I first tried using the desktop version on my laptop, to no avail. I usually use Garage Band on my iPad to edit vocals and got this program specifically so I could do that on my computer instead, but for some reason the desktop version refuses to use my microphone. I spent two hours going through my computer and Soundtrap settings, only to give up because of how frustrating it was. I guess technically it did connect, but I couldn’t get the volume up and it sounded very VERY muffled. So I decided to turn to the app. Thankfully, the app was able to acknowledge the microphone, but the app doesn’t carry the tools that I want to use and crashes VERY often. Also the whole point I got it was because I wanted to use my laptop. I had the grand idea to record on my iPad then edit on my computer, but even though I’m on the same account and use the paid version it won’t sync well between devices. Anyway, for my purposes this app/site has been very frustrating, but it does have some good things packed in. I’m sure it’s useful to many other people.EitanasteriaVersion: 2.4.2

Disappointed, confused and feeling ripped offI got this app and began to enjoy it so much that I purchased the subscription so I could have more storage and download and use more loops. I started off with the $10 one and it still had a few loops that were not usable that I really wanted to use, when it gave me the "upgrade your subscription" button I clicked it and went ahead and upgraded to the $15 a month sub. I was excited to go back and get started but every time I click on the track I want it still tells me I need to upgrade but when I click on the "upgrade your subscription" button it now tells me "this is your current subscription. Needs a new user interface BADLYI’ve been using this app for a week or so now and I’ve been trying to work with the midi and the recording. And each time I try to work with it it messes up the midi completely. When I try to copy and paste it it puts notes like two Bars ahead, and then the note where it actually goes half a bar ahead, even though I put it right on the line. And they need a play back to the spot where you started button because right now all it has is where you play and then it keeps going. It doesn’t go back to where it belongs. it is the most annoying thing ever specially when you’re trying to record vocals at the same spot. I feel like Soundtrap is more for the Loop type people not for those who want actual talent in their songs. Love the PC VersionI’ve made plenty of music using this system on my PC. The functionality on a mobile device is not great. Things sound good and you have all your options available (including premium like myself, you can use your account on both versions of course!) However when adding new instruments (seem to be a problem when you add more than 3 loops/tracks to a song) you can’t move that loop around. I had to close the app and go back in to gain the ability just to move the loops around. The pinpoint accuracy of touch screen with how small columns are, are way too sensitive. Good system, bad appFor a couple years now I’ve been using Soundtrap and it’s both easy and convenient for making music, with tons of amazing loops to kickstart a project and good instruments. I have made lots of music over time, and I was hoping to be able to listen to the music I’ve made on my phone, and the app is absolutely horrible. There’s no way to sort/search through your songs, and when you have hundreds of projects, lots of which are unfinished, it gets incredibly annoying when you want to find a certain song or project. And when you want to use it for what they’re constantly shoving in your face, making music, everything is small, cramped and impossible to edit. You can make a good song but it always breaks no matter whatSo me and a friend (they are doing most of the work) are creating an indie game, and we need a good soundtrack. Limited yet needs workI do like the amount of instruments and other kinds of music pieces, but the main problem is that it’s very limited. I know you all want us to pay a subscription just to spend money, but maybe not limit everything but you can use ads to use the sound fonts. Terrible.This software is useless & terrible. I will not put up with this anymore lol. I may not have the money to invest in a good one right now but this is ridiculous. I’m having a hard time even doing simple stuff like turning the volume down on a voice recording, or the reverb effect is OD. I turn off the effect & it’s still adding a weird echo to my recording. Not too impressed.The computer version is wonderful! I love the computer version of Soundtrap, however, I’m not that impressed with the phone app. Basically it’s good for listening to songs and maybe contacting with collaboraters. But I found it complicated to try and work on a song on my phone with this thing... for starters (this is especially annoying when you’re collaborating with someone), you can’t see the name of your tracks when they’re in your song, it just shows an instrument. Buggy Since Last Update (3.1.4)The biggest problem with the app currently is ever since the last update is I STILL can’t scroll across my time line without the instrument tab pulling out. It’s impossible to scroll to the left after you’ve scrolled to the right. And there’s only one tiny spot on your screen that allows you to scroll sideways properly and it’s very hard to find that sweet spot on my screen. Another thing is on the mobile app, you can’t edit MIDI notes that I am aware of. I could be wrong, but I have yet too find out how if you can. Nothing ever really worksThe app is amazing but my main gripe is the fact that, with the samples, if toy want to select a sample with an instrument, it never actually plays the audio for example, “Milky-Pad 2”. And several other samples like this NEVER play audio on my end, yet when listening to them in the sample menu works perfectly fine. Its really disappointing and also the fact that the only way to fix this kind of problem is to do the work on the computer is very inconvenient. Good DAW, but some serious problemsI use this app on my computer, so I thought I’d get the phone version. But it has some serious issues. The app makes me log on with my google account literally every time I open it, sometimes more than once. This is frustrating. The app also now is unable to play your songs while doing anything other than being on the app, which can limit ability to listen to them on the go. Additionally, the app continually fails to play audio, even after I close it and restart it. I enjoy using this DAW and would love to use it more on the go. Very disappointed!I had a subscription to FL studio mobile for a few months because I couldn’t get GarageBand (I’m on iOS 12) but I cancelled because I didn’t want to pay for it. Great website, terrible appI downloaded this app about a week ago and it was functional (mostly, let’s not get into the how distorted the recording is when you don’t use earbuds for some reason) for about two days. Ever since then, anytime I try to enter the studio I’m stuck on the loading screen forever. Troubleshooting didn’t help, the only way around it is using the website on your phone’s browser which completely defeats the purpose of the app. Also, the site on a computer makes every recording lag for some strange reason. Won’t Load My Saved ProjectOk so I did a project and forgot to save it yesterday so I restarted it today (btw auto save would be a nice feature). Then, today I did half of it and had to take a call.
