Disrespectful and obnoxious customer service I ordered food, which did not come. Apparently there is a problem with their GPS system, and when their system failed they tried to contact me through my phone. They did however only call me for the amount of 5 seconds before hanging up, so I did not have time to reach the phone. When I look in the delivery app I can see that my order has been canceled, and when I called customer service they told me that they could not help me, they could not deliver my food or return my money. This is absurd, especially because it was only a matter of minutes!!!!!!!!!! And what else could I as a customer do? The food is probably still warm! Very horrible experience. Scammed me for 60 dollars Horrible experience. The driver came and then left with our food WITHOUT notifying us. We waited for almost 2 hours for over 60 dollars worth of food that never came. When I explained this to deliveroo they refused to take responsibility. I was not given a refund even after talking directly with one of the representatives who said I would be given my money back. Not taking responsibility for scammers on their platform I ordered my food, 3 hours later it was marked as “delivered”. I never received my food and Deliveroo refused to compensate me. I spoke with customer services twice. One if them saidthat I should wait for 72 hours and expect an email about a refund. 4 days later and nothing. Second time I sooke with customer service they just told me that there is nothing they can do. Apparently, if the restaurant marks the food as delivered, then they will just believe the restaurant regardless of whether it’s true or not.
