Great, on the go While travelling around Europe, I used to service where it is available because it’s quick and easy and reliable and part of Uber and you always get to choose from both local and known chain restaurants I can highly recommend it and so far never been disappointed in knowing it’s a part of Uber I know if there’s an issue it will be solved so if you trust them to deliver you from airport or to meetings, why not just trust them to deliver your food?. Scammed by driver and no help from support Is it possible to put less stars? I’ve never had such a bad experience with customer support in my whole life. After being ripped off by the driver the support did nothing, asked no real questions and just canceled my chat every time. The driver (who was almost 2 hours late) said they couldn’t find the spot when they arrived (which is long time after I tried to text them and call them but just getting voicemail.) I asked where they were and no response, only saying they can’t find me. Then after “trying” to find me they add the order as complete and say in a comment sorry I couldn’t find you and nothing more. The support tells me that the driver reasonably tried to find me and gave me a rout and picture to where they put the order (they didn’t) and canceled my chat. Over $200 down the drain, 8 people waiting over 2 hours for food. Would not recommend ever Would not recommend at all. I ordered a big order and it costed me 70£. Right before the order was supposed to arrive it got cancelled, I never got a reason, so why I would never know. Firstly I was told I would get my money back, but after a day and still no sign of the money I asked them what was going on. Never got what I paid for I use Uber eats everyday and what made my experience this time really bad is that I paid for a delivery which I never got. The delivery man said he had delivered which was a total lie and Uber said that I broke their TOS, justifying only that I broke their TOS with no specification for why they would not refund me back for a delivery I never received. It’s frustrating because when they do this, you don’t know if they will do it again. And every time they do it I will have to go to my bank and ask for a chargeback. This is definitely not good for Uber either as they will get penalties by Visa. So I’m not sure who this really helps, because they should not keep money when they don’t deliver, it is so simple, yet they do not want to refund me, creating a huge situation which could’ve been easily solved by a refund.. Really bad customer service for local deliveries Uber driver could not find the item i had originally ordered. I contacted Uber customer service explaining that the alternatives did not suit the purpose I purchased the item for (it was for a baby girls birthday). You can find yourself waiting on the driver for longer periods of time, which will affect the quality of food received(cold and saggy).
