Unnecessary data collection For booking accommodation abroad, a host sent a one-time payment request. It is impossible to pay it without sharing a ridiculous amount of data, including several questions about my work, as well as ID documents. Why would I need to share any info at all to pay a one-off request via credit card, or to transfer money into a wise account via bank transfer? It doesn’t just take quite long to set up due to all the questions, but also overbearing to make so many workplace questions compulsory. Soending two days waiting now for confirming documents that have allready been confirmed is pointless and might be an excuse to keep the money as long as possible. Very dissappointing..
