Med sikkerhet i høysetet Setter pris på at ProtonMail, i likhet med Outlook, tilbyr muligheten for å låse opp appen med krav om Touch ID / PIN-kode for tilgang. Jeg mener det er en funksjon som bør tilbys fordi det ikke er naturlig at en iPad, som den spillmaskinen den også er, aldri benyttes av mer enn én person. Man bør kunne velge å aktivere en egen tilgangsbeskyttelse for epost-klienter på iPad. Til sammenligning mangler Apple Mail og Gmail dette. Utseendemessig har ProtonMail hengt litt etter konkurrentene. De siste oppdateringene har gitt en skikkelig ansiktsløfting, så ProtonMails utforming nå er på høyde. Det nye ikonet synes jeg dog ikke er en forbedring. Ikke bare kan det lett forveksles med Gmails ikon. Det gamle ikonet som illustrerte en sammensmelting av en hengelås og et brev, passet mye bedre ProtonMails forsøk på å profilere sitt produkt som epostklienten med sikkerhet i høysetet.. Almost useless After using ProtonMail for a few years now I have been very happy with the service and app. But in the last few months the app have transformed to being almost useless. Swiping to delete mail have gone completely crazy and are deleting emails at random, usually a few rows below the mail I want to delete. It’s also slow and unresponsive. Omiyage The app works sufficiently, but still lacks a simple but, in my view, essential function: when moving an email, there should be a search bar at the top of the folder list so one shouldn’t have to scroll through a long list of folders to find the correct one. Protonmail as a service is great I was previously complaining that the app was lacking image embedding, but the devs stepped up and this was added in the latest release. Kudos to the team for doing that! Adjusted my rating based on that. Now, if there was a way to group together conversations, the app would greatly improve in terms of usability. Right now you find that a long email conversation very quickly clutters up the view. Even if you add it as a sort of experimental feature that allow the users to opt in, I'd jump right in.. /users/gunnar Version: 1.11.9

Scam I purchased the Proton Total on black friday, requested a refund shortly after. From the $80 I paid, I only got $76.2 back. Also the customer (priority) service was difficult to talk to, they continued pushing questions while all i wanted was a refund. I do not recommend Proton.. CVXCH Version: 7.4.2

1 step forward. 1 step back. Proton is regressing existing features, including legitimate privacy and security features, for the sake of a better coat of paint. I cannot recommend Proton to any user when the focus of privacy and security is in doubt. This update seems like it launched far too soon, and I wish the Proton team would have spent more time getting the new update to at least feature parity with the old app before pushing it out. Great service but mobile clients are lacking The service itself is good. But organizing emails is not fun when you’re on mobile/ipad. E.g. If I want to set my 200 unread emails as read, I will have to tap 200 times. There is no way to select all or multiselect on the touchscreen. This is constantly an annoyance for me.. Magnus The new version is awful. While it is more polished, user experience has taken a huge step back. For example: While swiping on a mail (like for deleting) was instant and «felt great» before, it now has a rubber-band effect where you have to swipe the entire screen to be able to delete the mail. I can no longer do so with one finger without a struggle. 😮‍💨 Example 2: Mail reappears in the mailbox after it has been deleted. 👺 Please revert to the old version. It was so much better!.
