Using Gaia Pro in Anatolia In principle it’s a great app for planning, recording and organising hikes. The best navigation app I’ve tried and the only one I use regularly. Customer service is good at responding whenever there’s an issue. Not so good at solving them though. The app can be very crash-prone for reasons which can take ages to resolve. Contour maps for rolling (rather than mountainous) terrain are not high enough resolution to be much use. Whether military (i.e. no-go) areas are marked is hit and miss. The system for suggesting new features by popular vote is bizarre I think. They support hunting which I find more than off-putting. The specialist maps are more or less useless for Anatolia..
